least in this part of florida is that we are going to see this hurricane passed us by. it is going to push all of those water in to the tampa bay and then we are going to see all this rain that's going to fall over the next 6 to 12 hours. then we need to mix into that high tide, king tide, and once those three things happen, that is when they believe that we are going to see some significant flooding out here. we are talking about a storm surge anywhere between 2 to 4, even six feet when all is said and done. for emergency officials have really spent the better part of the day trying to get folks live in these low-lying areas of hillsboro county to go ahead and move inland. they want to go to a hurricane shelter, they want them to get away from these low-lying areas. we know that there are two mandatory evacuation orders that have been in place for the better part of a day. one of the orders is right here in hillsboro county, which again, is home to the tampa bay area. the other is just to the west of me, that is in pinellas county, it is home to st. pete
