communications director for the national republican congressional committee, matt gorman. tiffany, buttigieg has seen a number of good bumps over the course of the primary. bumps that frankly candidates like cory booker and kamala harris kind of wish they'd been getting themselves. but he does have this huge deficit among african-american voters. can he overcome it? >> yeah, i think he can and i think it's interesting how we frame the conversation. i think the media still, you know, kind of uplifts buttigieg's campaign repeatedly even though the black vote's constituency path leads to the white house. it's odd we kind of dismiss kamala harris' campaign because she has a ground swelling among some voters. >> not dismissing it, just not doing very well. >> not you personally but a lot of articles in print and broadcast all but dismissed her campaign. it's an interesting -- >> but i'm curious, how do you think he can overcome it?
