. this morning search and rescue crews are combing neighborhoods near new orleans that were devastated by a huge tornado. the robin neighborhood was hit last night. it ripped some homes off their foundations. at least one person was killed, multiple others injured. let's go to derek van dam. he joins me from the parish. they don't have a final count yet, but still, one life lost, it's horrific. i'm surprised it's not more. >> reporter: also saying to cnn this morning that it's a miracle more people weren't injured, there weren't more casualties than has been reported. when you look at the extent of the damage we're seeing behind us, we have to use the words that the parish president used as well, where the tornado actually struck.
