"newsroom" starts now. -- captions by vitac -- www.vitac.com good morning, thanks for joining us. i'm ana cabrera. glad to have you with us. let's start with news just in on the strength of the economy, and moments ago we learned 288,000 jobs were added last month. now that pushes the unemployment rate down two notches to 6.1%. this is now the lowest unemployment rate we've seen since september of 2008. joining us to discuss, cnn chief business correspondent christine romans and alison kosik at the new york stock exchange. christine, we start with you. break down these numbers for us. how significant is this? >> it's pretty significant.
