central, even southern florida, the temperature this morning down into the 40s, even into the keys getting down into the upper 40s and lower 50s. incredible cold by their standards for any time of year. of course, even ft. myers 36 degrees. that trend begins warming up here the next couple days as well, but we're watching carefully what's across portions of the interior northwest. another storm sils temperature and the elements for the storm system migrate west. as early as tuesday night extending into thursday night, we see an event line up potentially for not only more snowfall, but even a 2,000 mile stretched of land where ice can accumulate. a decent amount of ice. we have to see where this plays out. notice the significant threat here. next time you see the color pink on a weather map, we know that's an ice accretion potential and the coverage is what's potentially most impressive because some of the areas could see as much as 3/4 of an inch of
