things happen. dramatic things happen. we'll get it done and get it done by hopefully by the end of next week, if not sooner. >> one, i appreciate the good word. two, i don't know that this is the same party that it was in 1984 when my father gave that speech. also, you know, the timing matters, congressman, and what you're saying would make perfect sense if you were reassuring the president, don't worry, we'll get this job done with the republicans but you're all democrats. and it's like it's a tale of two cities within the party. how do you remedy that? >> one, first, we have to make sure that we listen to one another. you know, as a big family and people fight but we've been able to do that before. i was actually part of a working group that helped negotiate the new u.s. embassy. people thought we couldn't get it done. we ended up getting 194 democrats and 193 republicans
