sometimes you hear about getting that in hospitals are but sanjay's explaining it could be from an infection somewhere necessarily the body, made it into the bloodstream. the hospital says he's doing well. and also, sanjay, tell the audience in case they're joining us now, people are going to worry this is his heart. what have you been told? >> i did speak to his doctors, including the chief of medicine at university of california irvine, and his primary care physician. those are the first questions, was this related to his heart? because he had a heart operation back in 2004, bypass operation. he had a stent placed in 2010. they said this is not related to his heart. they also say this is not covid. he was tested for covid. and he, in fact, has been vaccinated and also received his booster shot. they say that this seems to be sepsis specifically unrelated to those two things. and responding well to anti antibiotics. they call it an infection, but it's an infection in the blood, which is known as sepsis.
