congress and they have done that. that was article 3 of the nixon impeachment, by the way, for doing that. the law says that the internal revenue service shall give anyone's tax returns upon to the chairman of the ways and means committee. they simply refused to do it. they are with holding information from congress, from the american people, that they are bound by law to supply. this is just another instance of their being contempttuous of the law. the press release cites the watergate era and says an agreement was made at that time that when something like this happens, congress would get it. they promise to handle the type of information that can be of national security level confidentiality the right way. but what does the law say about what is supposed to happen in this situation? >> well, certain information, i am not an expert in that part of the law, but certain information must be shared with the intelligence committee and only the intelligence committee.
