I have always heard that you can never ever delete a email, and so i think that they can be found, but i dont believe they want to be found. And in the latest clinton coverup and it does not change anything. If she is elected president she will adopt the transpacific partnership, and we will lose millions of jobs and the economic independence for good. Shell do this, and just as she has betrayed the American Worker and traded every single stage of her career, and it will be even worse than the clintons nafta deal and i never thought that it could be worse than that. We will lose jobs, we will lose employment, and we will lose taxes and everything. We will lose our country. I want trade deals, but they have to be great for the United States and for our workers. [ applause ] we dont make great deals anymore, and we will once i become president , i promise you that. [ applause ] it is not just the economy that has been corrupted, but the Foreign Policy, too, and the Hillary ClintonForeign Policy has cost america thousands of lives and trillions and trillions of dollars. And unleashed isis across the world. No secretary of state has been more wrong, more often and in more places than Hillary Clinton. [ applause ] her decisions spread death, destruction and terrorism everywhere she touched. Among the victims of our late ambassador chris steven, and i mean, she, what she did with him is absolutely horrible. He was left helpless to die as Hillary Clinton soundly slept in her bed, and that is right, because when the phone rang as per the commercial at 3 00 in the morning, Hillary Clinton was sleeping. And ambassador stevens and his staff in libya made hundreds and hundreds of requests for security. They were desperate. They needed help. Hillary Clintons State Department refused them all. She started the war that put them in libya, denied him the security that he asked for and then left him there to die. To cover her tracks, hillary lied about the video being the cause of death, the famous video. All a lie. Another hillary lie. Heres what one of the victims mother had to say. I want the whole world to know it, she lied to my face, and you know, this person cannot be president. She cannot be president. [ applause ] in 2009 before Hillary Clinton was sworn in, it was a different world, and libya was cooperating, iraq was seeing a reduction in violence, and believe it or not, and syria was under control, and iran was being choked by sanctions, and egypt was governed by a friendly regime that honored the peace treaty with israel, and something very nice, because by the way israel has been totally mistreated by the United States. Isis was not even on the map. Fast forward to 2013, in just four years, secretary clinton managed to almost singlehandedly destabilize the middle east. Her invasion of libya handed the country over to isis, the barbarians. Th thanks to Hillary Clinton, iran is now the dominant islamic power in the middle east, and on the road to nuclear weapons. Hillary clintons support for the regime change in syria has thrown the country into one of the bloodiest civil wars anyone has ever seen, and given isis a launch pad for terrorism against the west. She helped to force out a friendly regime in egypt, and replas wce it with the radical muslim brotherhood. And the Israel Military has retaken control, but clinton has op opened up the pandoras box of radical islam, and then the disastrous strategy of announcing our departure from iraq, and handing large parts of the country over to isis and the isis killers. Isis threatens us today, because of the decisions Hillary Clinton has made along with president obama. Isis also threatens the peaceful muslims across the middle east, and peaceful muslims across the world who have been terribly victimized by horrible brutality who only want to raise their kids in peace and safety. No short in short, in short, Hillary Clintons tryout for the presidency has produced one deadly Foreign Policy disaster after another. One by one they are all bad, and she is virtually done nothing right, and she is virtually done nothing good. It all started with the bad judgment in supporting the war in iraq in the first place. Though i was not in government service, i was among the earliest to the criticize the are rush to war. And yes, even before the war ever started. [ applause ] but Hillary Clinton learned nothing from the act, because when she got the power, she could not wait to rush us off to war in libya, and she lacks the temperament and the judgment and the kom competence to lead the country, and she should not be president under any circumsta e circumstances. In the words of the secret Service Agent posted outside of the oval office, somebody who saw her a lot and knows her probably better than almost anybody she simply lacks the integrity and temperament to serve in the office. From the bottom of my soul, i know this to be true. Her leadership style volcanic, impulsive, and disdainful, and disdainful of the rules set for everyone else hasnt changed one bit. Perhaps the most terrifying thing about Hillary Clintons Foreign Policy is that she are refuses to ak a knowledge the threat posed by radical islam. In fact, Hillary Clinton supports a radical 550 increase in Syrian Refugees coming into the United States, and that is an increase over president obamas already high number. Under her plan, we would admit hundreds of thousands of refugees from the most dangerous countries on earth, and with no way to screen who they are, what they are, what they believe, where they come from. Already, hundreds of recent immigrant immigrants and their children have been convicted of terrorist acti activity inside of the United States. The father of the orlando shooter was a taliban supporter are from afghanistan. One of the most repressive antii gay and antiwoman regimes on earth. I only want to admit people who share our values, and love our people. [ applause ] Hillary Clinton wants to bring in people who believe that women should be enslaved and gays put to death. Maybe her motivation lies among the more than 1,000 foreign donations hillary failed to disclose while at the state department. Hillary clinton may be the most corrupt person ever to seek the presidency of the United States. [ applause ] thank you. Thank you. So true. Thank you. [ audience chanting trump ] thank you. Thank you. Here is some of what weal really learned from the book in addition to what we have already discussed, a foreign Telecom Giant faced possible state department sanctions for providing technology to iran are and other oppressive regimes. So what did this company do . For the First Time Ever they ke decided to pay bill clinton 750,000 for a single speech. The clintons got their cash, and the Telecom Company escaped all sanctions. And Hillary Clintons state Department Approved the transfer of 20 of americas uranium hold ings to russia, and while nine investors in the deal funneled 145 million to the clinton foundation. 145 million. Hillary clinton appointed a top donor to a National Security board with top secret access, and even though he had no National Security kre den is shalls, although he did make a very Large Campaign contribution. Hillary clinton accepted 58,000 in jewelry from the government of brunei when she was secretary of state, plus millions more from her foundation, and the sultan of brunei has pushed oppressive shariah law, including the punishment by death and stoning if you happy to be gay. The government of brunei also stands to be one of the biggest beneficiary of hillarys transpacific partnerships which she would absolutelyp approve if given the chance. Hillary clintons book and just think of this, the book talks about it, but hillary took 25 million from saudi arabia and much more from others, and where being gay is also punishable by death. Hillary took millions from kuwait, qatar, oman, and many other countries that horribly abuse women and the lgbt citizens. Cocover up the corrupt dealings, hillary illegally stashed her emails on a private server, and she is under investigation, but it seems that nothing is going to happen, even though other people who have done similar things but much, at a much lower level, their lives have been destroyed. It is a rigged system, folks. It is a rigged system. Her is server was easily hacked by foreign governments and perhaps even by her financial backers in communist china, sure they have it. And putting all of the america and our citizens in danger, and great danger. Then there are the 33,000 emails that she deleted and while we may not know what is in the deleted emails, our enemies probably know every single one of them. So they probably now have a blackmail file over someone who wants to be the president of the the United States. This fact alone disqualifies her are from the presidency. We can not hand over to the government to someone whose deepest and darkest secrets may be in the hands of the enemies. Cant do it. [ applause ] National Security is also immigration security. And hillary wants neither. Hillary clinton has put forward the most radical immigration platform in the history of the history of the United States. She has pledged to grant mass amnesty and in her first 100 days end virtually all immigration enforcement, and thus create totally open borders for the United States. Totally open borders and by the way, 16,500 Border Patrol agents have endorsed donald trump first time in the history that they have endorsed because of that. The first victims of her radical policies will be poor africanamerican and hispanic workers who need jobs. They are also the ones that she will hurt the most by far. Let me share with you a letter our campaign received from Mary Anne Mendoza who lost her amazing son Police SergeantBrandon Mendoza after he was killed by an illegal immigrant because of the open borders and policies supported by Hillary Clinton. Sadly, the mendoza family is just one of thousands who have suffered the same fate. Heres an excerpt from mrs. Mendozas letter. Hillary clinton who already has the blood of so many on her hands is now announcing that she is willing to put each and every one of our lives in harms way. An open door policy to criminals and terrorists to enter our country. Hillary is not concerned about you or i, but she is only concerned about the power of the presidency and the power that it would bring. She need s s to go to prison toy for the crimes that she has already committed against our country. That is are from mrs. Mendoza, and hillary also wants to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to settle middle eastern refugees in the United States on top of the current can record level of immigration that we already have. For the amount of money that Hillary Clinton would like to spend on refugees we could rebuild every inner city in america. [ applause ] hillarys wall street agenda will keep the immigrant communities poor and unemployed americans totally out of work. She cant claim to care about africanamerican and hispanic workers when she wants to bring in millions of new lowwage earners to compete against them and win against them because the system is rigged against our peop people. Here are a few things that the Trump Administration is going to do for the americans and for the American People, but for our country. Number one, the first 100 days, i will appoint judges who will uphold the constitution of the United States. Hillary clintons radical judges will virtually abolish the second amendment. Cant let that happen. I will change immigration rules to give unemployed americans an opportunity to field good, really good paying jobs and we dont have good jobs anymore, and these are good paying jobs. We will stand up to countries that et cheat on trade of which there are many. We will cancel rules and regulations that send jobs overseas and everywhere else but our country. Well lift restrictions on energy production. We will repeal and replace job killing obama care. It is a total di ssaster. [ applause ] well pass massive tax reform to create millions of new jobs and lower taxes for everyone. And we are by the way, the highest taxed nation in the world. Please remember that. We want to impose tough new ethics rules to restore dig nit to the office of the secretary of state. There is one common theme in all of these reforms, it is going to be america first. This is why stakes in november are so great. On election day, the politicians stand trial before the people. The voters are the jury. Their ballots are the verdict. We dont need or want another clinton or obama. We just cant take it anymore. So bad for our country and our people. Come november, the American People will have a chance to issue a verdict on the politicians that have sacrificed their security, betrayed their prosperity and sold out their country, and i mean, totally sold out their country. They will have a chance to vote for a new agenda with big dreams, bold ideas and enormous possibility s f possibilities for the American People. Hillary clintons message is old and tired. Her message is that things cant change. My message is that things have to change, and that this is our one chance, and maybe our only chance to do that change and, if we dont do it now, folks, i dont know that we will ever, ever have another chance. We have to have change, but real change, not obama change. Americans are the people who tamed the west, dug out the panama canal, that sent satellites across the solar system, that built the great dams and so much more. Then we really started thinking small, something happened, ing something happened to our mentality, and we started thinking small. We stopped believing in what america could do, and became reliant on other countries, other people and other institutions. We lost our sense of purpose and daring. But that is not who we are. [ applause ] come this november, we can bring america back, bigger and better and stronger than ever before. We will build the greatest infrastructure on the planet earth. The roads and railways and airports of tomorrow. Our military [ applause ] our military which has totally ke depleted will have the best technology and the finest equipment. We will bring it back to the way that it must be, strong, strong, strong. Massive new factories will come roaring into the country, and breathing life and hope into our communities. Inner cities which have been horribly abused by Hillary Clinton and the Democrat Party will finally, finally, finally will rebuilt. Construction is what i know. I say nobody knows it better. The real wages for our workers have not been raised for 18 years. But these wages will start going up along with new jobs, jobs, jobs. Hillarys massive taxation, regulation and open borders will destroy jobs and drive down wages for everyone, and this is what has been happening, and that is why you are seeing so many people coming to our rallies and so much unblooelieve support. [ applause ] we are also going to be supporting the police and law enforcement. We can never forget the great job they do. Thank you. I am also going to appoint Great Supreme Court justices, and so important, and one of the most important factors in this election. And we are going to have many appointments and maybe as many as five and probably three, could be four, and one of the really big factors in the election. We are going to appoint Supreme Court justices who will be outstanding, outstand iing. So important. Our country is going to start working again, jobs. People are going to start working again. Parents are going to start dreaming big for their children again, including parents in our inner cities. Thank you. America, americans, americans, americans. The people that we love. America first and make our country great, and americans are going to start believing in the future of our country. We are going to make america rich again. We r r goare going to make amer safe again. We are going to make America Great again and great again for everyone, everyone. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you very much, everybody. Ap pree appreciate it. Donald trump going on the attack against Hillary Clinton in this speech. The Presumptive Republican nominee for president making extreme allegations accusing clinton of singlehandedly destabilizing the middle east and made some attacks and comments that defy mathematics all of this in a speech that he planned to deliver last week, but he had to reschedule due to the shooting in orlando. John harwood is in washington, d. C. , with the highlights. John . Look, donald trump needs to get back on offense against Hillary Clinton, and this is the attempt to do that. He had some broad themes like trying to reclaim the issue of change saying that Hillary Clinton is a status quo candidate and he is a change candidate and this is a potentially powerful one for the republicans, but mostly the speech will appeal to the republicans and his base which is something that he needs to solidify, and he has had a rough couple of weeks, and republicans keeping their distance from him, and the numbers among the republicans are below what they have, what he needs to win the election, and the question is whether the rhetoric that he used, and you mentioned extreme statements that he made about Hillary Clinton almost singlehandedly destabilized the middle east, and she got rich to make you poor when she was secretary of state in terms of the deals cut with china and talking about everything that she touched as secretary of state spread death, destruction and terrorism, and the question is whether those are believable to the people who she, donald trump needs to attract to his side to make up the deficit that he has got right now, and he talked about the absolute imperty of denying a, you know, the extension of the obama presidency. And republican president obama has strong Approval Ratings right now, and so again, it is a well delivered speech by donald trump. He was very calm and steady in the delivery and that responded just in terms of his temperament that he displayed to one of the Hillary Clinton charges which is that donald trump is erratic, and he was steady in the speech, and that is positive for him sh, and again, i think that he rallied the base, and he tried to get republicans back behind him in the numbers that he needs to win, and hes got a separate task which i dont believe that the speech will accomplish to broad broaden the base which is what is ahead of him right now. John, thank you for that. Our john harwood joining us on phone as well is former pennsylvania governor ed rendell, and it is good to talk to you again. Good afternoon. And john called it well delivered. Good morning. And i wonder how effective you think it is for trumps purposes . Well, i think that, john explained it pretty well. For getting independent or undecide undecided voters or the moderate republicans or moderate independents, it is flat, because the chargeser most of them were not believable and sort of extreme, but for the base which is important that he rally the base and for rank and file republicans, it was a good e speech and important. Because there is a Significant Movement to change the rules to allow delegates who are pledged to donald trump when they ran for the primaries to allow them to vote for anybody they want on the first ballot. So, he has real problems with the Republican Convention that is coming up in four weeks. He had to so llidify those, and the speech probably reassured some of the delegates who were wavering. He made reference to Bernie Sanders supporters and how well can he leverage the frustration of those vote arers essence shally losing out to Hillary Clinton in the primaries . I dont think very much. I think that Bernie Sanders supporters know that if they want to make progress on the issues that they care about, Hillary Clinton is infinitely closer to Bernie Sanders positions than donald trump is. The best that donald trump can hope for is that if he can bloody Hillary Clinton enough that maybe a percentage of the sanders supporters wont go to the polls, and just wont vote. Governor, donald trump said some things that to me just i find it a little bit baffle iin. I am wondering your take. He promised to lower taxes for everyone, and said at the same time though that he is going to build the greatest infrastructure on planet earth, and promised new equipment for the military, and he said that the amount that hillary wants to spend on refugees could rebuild every inner city in america. As a governor of a sizable and populous state, you have had to the deal with the budget, and how do you square the math in those statements . Well, the answer is that you dont. You dont lower taxes and then get money to fund the massive infrastructure and redevelopment program, and of course, donald trump has not told us how you would fund it at all. And you dont do that, and you the pay for thing, and interestingly, a lot of the think tanks that are nonpartisan have said that his tax plan would blow 18, 19 trillion hole in the deficit over the next 10 or 20 years. It is totally irresponsible. Hillary clinton has proposed a billion of new spending in infrastructure, but the good news is that she has announced a way to pay for it for every dime that she wants to spend. In fact, the bipartisan and the Nonpartisan Committee for responsible fiscal budget has praised her for giving the specific pay fors for every dollar she wants to invest and spend. And governor, in interesting attack from donald trump in the speech. At one point he said of Hillary Clinton, she is virtually done nothing right, and she has virtually done nothing good. Is that believable beyond Donald Trumps base that this attempt to demonize Hillary Clinton not just on the certain specific issues, but claiming a that she is gaiagainst the lgbt communit and against the inner cities, and i mean, she isccording to he speech. Are the chances of that working, completely demonizing her sort of the campaign to expect from both side, because Hillary Clinton has been harsh on trump as well . Well, Hillary Clinton has used specifically quotes from donald trump, himself. And every quote is backed up with a citation, so these are tru trumps words that she is using to categorize trump himself. And to say, look, that Hillary Clinton is against the Lgbt Community and to say that Hillary Clinton is against africanamericans, and you might as well try to convince people that Hillary Clinton is a vampire. I mean, it is just not going to work, and not going to resonate, and not going to the resonate with the dyed in the wool democrats and sure not going to resonate with the independents. The independents are looking for, if im an independent voter, i tend to be moderate, i am going to be looking for the specifics. Tell me what you are going to do about the nations challenges, and so far, Hillary Clinton has produced in my judgment very significant detailed plans for how she is going to attack each and every one of the nations problems. Donald trump, we havent heard anything except for rhetoric. I can jgenerate the economy to levels that it has never been before, because i know how to make deals. Sorry, that is not good snuff. Give us some more specifics, and how are you going the fund the ideas . As you said, you cant cut taxes and increase the funding, because it does not add up. But, to put a period on it, governor, you think that to the degree that there was ever any threat to the nomination in cleveland, todays speech put an end to it . I wont say it put a total end to it, but it abated it significantly. According to the interview that i heard last night from the delegate who is sponsoring this movement, she thinks that she has 400 delegates to support that, and that is a significant number and 10 of the delegates to support that, and she has a lot of people in the rules Comm Committee to support it. Now, i think that the e speech today tamped it down a little b bit. I dont know if it completely extinguished it. Governor, thank you for your insig insight, and ed rendell, the former pennsylvania governor. Thank you. Meanwhile, europe closed five minutes ago, a day before the big vote. Simon . Well, the people of the uk will start to the vote whether to leave the European Union at 2 00 p. M. Our time. And the first of four auctions to the eurozone banks and now with the negative Interest Rates they will pay a bonus of four euros for every 1,000 euros that the banks reinvest, but the clear focus ston brexit vote tomorrow. The pound has made further gains and up 5 from the session lows that we had during the course of last week. And the ftse is doing reasonably well, and still a lot of the uk banks areal fooling locked in to not commenting friday and then an avalanche of the Conference Calls of the banks and the recommendations of the analyst, and two of the swiss banks are cutting rank, and the suisse credit says that it is going to go below, and the ftse could fall 5,000 which is a decline of 20 from where we are at the x next moment, but this is what the waiting of the ftse 500 is, and why this is important. A loft it is towards the commodities and the Big Oil Majors like bp and shell, and big pharma like smith glaxo kline. And so, in order, i am coming back to the same point i am making, if they want to leave friday, and there is stress in the Financial Markets and not primarily the uk that exhibits it, you may find that it comes through in some of the banking stocks within europe. In the meantime, i have been handed a new poll that puts in vote at 44 , and the out vote at 45 ahead of the referendum, and again, the polls are appearing to be swinging towards a remain vote according to the opinion poll that has been released. Obviously, essentially, too close to call. The Weather Forecast tomorrow is not good for the uk. That would seem to suggest a lower turnout which is the wisdom is that you would get a lot of of the the people voting to remain to come out to vote. But quickly, some pictures from hanover today, and it is the volkswagen ceo saying they sincerely regrets the u. S. Emissions cheat in september, and all of the guys will be reelected anyway, because the porsche organization or the porsche family owns 52 of the voting rights. Back to you. Simon, thank you very much. And meanwhile, we are monitoring janet yellen who is testifying before the Senate Committee on capitol hill. And Steve Liesman has been watching that. Ste steve . Hey, carl, i was just listening to the testimony. I know that you are busy. Well, i am doing it so you dont have to, and i am not sure that you are missing, because there is back and forth of the regulations and dodd frank and the regulations on the lending and the exes cess re excess reserves, and there is going to be regulation s ts on the corpo taxes and yellen is not making points about how to get the e conmu moving again, and that i have a framework with overregulation, and yellen is not plague ball. On the regulations of the economy, she expects the wages to go up, and the faster wage growth, and the economy to rebound, and sticking to the script of yesterday of the near term caution, and the headwinds they thought were temporary now thought to be more permanent and justify i justifying the lower Interest Rates and honestly not a whole lot of talk of Interest Rates in gener general, but maybe we will get there. And i will send it back to you, and the other topic was brexit, and she said that rules of Monetary Policy do not take into account brexit, and the Risk Management framework, carl. And any other developments, steve, you will bring them to us. Yes. And so now, the dow is down 29 point, and squawk alley is back in a moment. Welcome back to squawk alley. Jon fortt and myself here, and Kayla Tausche is live at the Cannes Film Festival in france. And we are joined by our guests this morning on a busy day, and both business wise and politically, and the top stories of the moment, are trades of w solar citi with tes l. A. Offering to buy the company, and elon musk is the ceo of tesla, and the city founder and controlling sharehold, and on the call last night, musk says it is a complete opportunity to create a pipeline for thep consumer, and take a listen. We think that it is a really huge opportunity here to have a highly integrated Sustainable Energy company that answers the whole Sustainable Energy question from the generation of power to storage to transport. And oppenheimer is bidding on that with shares at 2. 8 billion offer. What do you see of the move, kate . Well, is that the tesla shareholders are not thrilled about it and the solar citi are, and so from the capital point of view, it is big point of view, because he has been financing both companies and financing both companies so that makes sense. So the question is if tesla is a car company or a battery company, and you heard what elon just said, so you know now. And it is interesting to see the firewall that they can produce in the tesla which is produced in test cases is available to sol solarcity, and so hopefully he wants it to be integrated more. It is like alphabet, a collection of Companies Run by elon broadly in the same business. But alphabet has google at the core, and less clear with what is at the core of this. It is easy for me to see why the move is good for elon musk, but less clear of what is in it for the tesla shareholders, because the tes l. A. Based on the car company rational and not the energy rational, and that why the investors are behaving that way . Yes, it is not just good for elon musk, but his cousin who is the ceo of solarcity, and the two of them thought of sewlycity in an rv ride. So god knows where they were when they thought of this new plan. I dont think it is a nobrainer or obvious move. I think that this adds risk to tesla at a bad time. They have the model 3 coming out, and the big battery plant that is going to be going live in the coming months as well, and it is just adding risk there. Are synergys there, i am sure, but i dont see why buying the company adding it to musks empire officially makes financial sense. Yeah, well, he would argue that you will get generation, storage, and you can go vertical in a sense, kate, which raises the question, do people need to be valuing absent the stock price action today, do people need to value tesla differently if it is not a pure play car company . Well, you know i dont see it as an automotive company, right . Sorry, kate, what . Well, yeah, i was going to say, you know, how do they look at the company now, and i am thinking the same thing this morning, because the comparable is 2 3 the value of gm goes out of the window, to who you compare it to. And in some ways, you look at Companies Like amazon, because they have the similarity, and it is what michal brings up, the i higher risk, because they are burning a lot of cash to go after a new market, and so you to believe in not only the 5year vision, but the 10year in Renewable Energy which is what he is pursuing, and if you are looking at the fact that 33 of the e electricity is powered by coal in our homes which is finite and dirty a that is a long run, a good play, but how is that for the shareholders who are burning so much capital is the risk that we are talking about. So market has to stand back and look at that, but i think that because of the size of tesla, the car component is what is going to drive the value i would expect. And good reminder of how we power the grid in this country tends to get forgotten time, and aga again. And apologize for the short segment as we were compressed by politics today. And when we come back, we will talk to kayla in cannes. Dont go away. Power the grid in this country power the grid in this country great time for a shiny floor wax, no . Not if you just put the finishing touches on your latest masterpiece. Timings important. Comcast business knows that. Thats why you can schedule an installation at a time that works for you. Even late at night, or on the weekend, if thats what you need. Because you have enough to worry about. I did not see that coming. Dont deal with disruptions. Get Better Internet installed on your schedule. Comcast business. Built for business. All right. Coming up on the Halftime Report, the markets are on edge with less than 24 hours for the brexit vote. What happens if they do decide to leave . And elon musk is offering to buy his own solarcity and is it a buyout . A sell oout . We will discuss what it means for both companies. And you will hear what jim chanos has to say about that deal. Remember, he is short both companies, and you will hear from the reaction from mr. Chanos exclusively on the Halftime Report. And plus, mcdonalds is getting a downgrade today, and as one firm said buy yum instead, because it is the call of the day. A lot is happening at the last minute. Kayla, we will see you shortly. All right. Sounds good, scott. See you then. In the meantime, twitters allan bain has gotten the chief operating officer title here since we spoke to him here last years, but much of the todo list is the same, keep creative to grow revenue and help jack dorsey to right the ship. When we sat down this morning in cannes, we talked about that and the companys video initiatives, and what is in the pipeline. Take a listen. We made a series of announcements this week around video, and we are excited about video, because video is great for people on twitter, great for the publishers who put the content on there, and certainly, great for the marketers, and a terrific e Creative Canvas for the advertisers and the roi side, we have shown that the advertisers will get better are returns when they show the video in the ad campaigns than traditional tweets. I think that people have had a difficult time figuring out the twitter transmissions are since you won the nfl deal, and we are waiting to see what that looks like from the User Experience . Well, on the User Experience for the fans is incredible. We cant wait to show it this fall. It is going to be incredible, because it is what you already love about watching games and watching it with twitter. You are going to be coming for the live Game Experience on thursday night, and stay for the conversation, and all of the tweets around it. We do control some of the inventory in the game ads, and so we have been talking about what is poz possible there, and incredible demand. Thursday nights is also an incredible marketing night because of the weekend and the like, and so we will make thursday night on twitter an incredible experience. And moments was the big topic last year here when you were hoping to monetize, but we are not talking about that anymore and how has the product changed in the last years, and what is fundamentally different about it . Well, we are absolutely talking about content and the role of premium content experiences within twitter especially around u video. Moments is a perfect embodiment of that, and once you get a consumer into the moment, the ability to go deep into a structured story. It would seem from the he headlines standpoint that the biggest difference of the company is how many executives have left, media, engineering, and it is a long list, but how do you get people to stick around . Well, the morale of the company has never been stronger, because the focus is stronger. We have talked about the five areas to focus on. Focus on refine ing ting the co products and refining the video, and developers and creativity and safety. The product tracks are laid, and the team is executing right now, and you can see it in what we did last week, and we made the three video announce ments that you mentioned that are all around live video, and video. A lot of the incentive has come in the form of stock, and how does that work when the stock goes down by 54 in a year . Well, look, are from the employee standpoint, the goal of the company and the employees overall is to inshure that twitter is indispensable for our u users and content partners and certainly for market ers. We are trying to execute to grow shareholder value, and we have seen some great evidence this the week in terms of what is ahead for the company, and our ability to stay strategic with the advertisers. We got news yesterday that instagram has reached 500 million monthly active users, and snapchat surpass ed a coupl of weeks ago, and do you feel like the pack is running away from you . No, twitter has over 800 million users of the service, and over 310 Million People logged into the service over 500 million logged out of the service, and so overall, twitter is sitting on a massive scale, and the marketers understand that, and they are using twitter to tap that scale and reach. We are bringing the ad vvertisi off of twitter to reach close to 1 billion in the audience and bring the same creative and targeting that they are used to on twitter and off twitter as well. And finally, last year when we had this conversation jack dorsey was the interim ceo, and now the ceo of two public companies, and is he running them well . Well, from my perspective, we have incredible access to jack, and he has been doing a great job with the team and the focus of the company, and as i mentioned, never been stronger from the focus and execution standpoint. And give me examples, the morale has never been stronger, and the company has never been strong stronger, but the stock price is not going to necessarily reflect that . Well, we understand what is in the pipeline and what is ahead, and the Live Streaming strategy with the nfl is a good start to what we hope to expose the fans to. Certain certainly the nfl saw what we have planned, and we cant wait to show the world what we have been showing marketers and the like here at cannes. Of course, he feels very good about the pipeline, and we will wait and see what the Company Actually does announce later this year, and we managed to catch up with linda, the chairman of the ad sales and client relationships with nbcs move to digital ark the and foothold they are building there and how she plans to talk to clients here at cannes about how to package it across the different medium. Our job is to be where the clients are so that we can talk to them specifically this trip, this year, and more importantly about the intersection of content, data and technology. That is really what the comcast Nbc Universal brings to the table for the client, and it is a different conversation than it was last year. And your marketing is projected to surpass digital audience, and what are you are doing to capture the digital audience . Well, to capture the digital audience we have made strategic changes in buzzfeed and vox media, and we have many, many partnerships with the companies, but the reality is that with the ad dollars actually shifting back to television and for the companies that are not panning out, it is important for the universal of combination and tv and digital, and it is not tv and digital, because it is not going to help them sell their products. So she is bullish on the television, and even linear televisi television, but there is one big tv event in yakkarinos sights, and that is the rio games, and we asked if she was close to breaking even and she did not back away from it. It is safe to say that we are already profit arable with the olympics. We have secured the olympics for the company until 2032, so we are also like to say that some of the athletes that will be participating in 2032 havent even been born yet, but the reason that we made that strategic investment is because it is one of the products that as we are betting on the cont t content, and the content is king, that is going to be a perennial favorite for all generatio generation, and so excited about it. So breaking even on the olympics not even a question, guys. Of course, that is coming up late e on in the summer, and Nbc Universal is the Parent Company of cnbc, and interesting c conversations happening here on the french riviera, and later on closing bell you will hear from shane smith, the ceo of vice who he thinks could afford the buy his company. You dont want to miss that. And Kayla Tausche who definitely did not draw the short straw this week in cannes, france. Cannes lions, and great lineup to come, we know. And meanwhile, you may have noticed the market coming off of the highs and a lot of it on the disappointing oil inventory, and had oil fall below 50 and it has been dragging the equities down wit. Yes, and the brexit poll showing it drawing back to the leave camp which is something that art cashin said monday he would be watching after the campaigning began again after the tragedy that happened there over the weekend. It appears that, again, it is anybodys guess which way this is going to go and very difficult to call, and that is a big reason why the mutual funds in both this country and the uk have cash balances at the highest level that we have seen in five years or so, as they are unwillinging to make a big bit with the clients money over the next 36 hours. And adobe has gone down here, are you surprised . No, adobe has warned that there would not be a linear increase in the Digital Marketing revenue, but overall, they are going to meet or exceed the annual targets. Yeah. Right now, adobe is the worst performing s p name. Rest up for tomorrow, and lets get over to wapner and the half half. Carl, thank you so much.
