All the viral affect that those plays have, but theres a huge inf infrastrushlgt play thats almost impossible to beat. This is the classic example that if someone gave you money, you would probably have to return it because its almost impossible to compete with them. To put it in perspective, you talk about 150 global fulfillment centers. Thats just building those. The land alone would take a competitor a decade. Its going to be difficult for traditional retailers to regear how theyve been distributing their products. Let alone, to tap into that what we believe 65 million prime users. One last thought is that theyre going to be adding on to their products. They now have 40 cities that are offering same hour and same day. That number will continue to increase, which is going to chippewa at traditional brick and mortar. Then theres aws. What role does that have in your call today . Thats less of the call today. Its an important part of the story because its a faster growing segment. Its growing about twice as fast as retail, and about seven times as profitable. That piece is a little bit more difficult to research because its more difficult to triagulate how the customers are changing. Its going to be an important part of the story. Our call today is more focused on the retail growth. More specifically, what the growth is going to be in the september quarter. We have an Analytics Team that goes and can help predict that. Gene, just a couple of quick questions. John. One with them saying they want to go out and compete against fedex and ups, does that scare you . In other words, yet another place to cap x spending for mr. Bazos to spend some of the shareholders money. What the season alty trade where you want to be long these retailers into christmas and into the black friday and this is right in the heart of that. I dont know if thats the best time to do that upgrade that you just did. Well, in terms of the logistics side, that wob a concern for us if they were going to aggressively spend at that. What theyre doing is theyre baskly helping supplement their peak demands by adding some additional whether its planes or trucks. Its going to be a small piece in overtime. We think it if they do want to make this a bigger part of their business, which we dont believe that, but if in fact, they did, we think it would go at a pace that would not be detrimental to margins. In terms of the trade, yes, the thats one of the problems here is that one of the reasons why the stock is going up is investors are anticipating cyber monday and amazon gaining share. Likely the stock is going to trade off after that, after in december. Were thinking about this more over the next year and several years and feel that if you take that approach, youre not going to be as concerned about the next three months. Tempted to raise your price target above 900. What youre sticking with today, im wondering if you are building such a bullish case for whats known in retail and saying that, yeah, aws is a pop in its own right. How tempted were you to raise the price targeted above nine . Well, were definitely tempted. We love the story. Its approaching our price target. You know, thats all we can say. Were sticking with our 900 price target now. The other thing is interesting. When you look at the rest much your coverage universal, were going to do this with the guys on the desk where are its first quarter, amazon, apple, google, and you really truly believe that the win to own over the next five years is singularly amazon . I need to be careful here because we dont have tenyear investment projections, but i would say amazon is best positioned over the next ten years, and because of that where we started, which is the infrastructure play on top of the prime fly wheel i think makes it a unique play. Its not considered in it the best company, but, in fact, we think it is. I appreciate the time. Thanks for coming on today. Talk to you soon. Pipers jegene munster. I agree with the call. I think amazon is a fantastic company. I think when you look at it technically, the chart looks really, really strong. Pristine. You really cant find a point of reference to get out until 700. Theres two other reasons why fundamentally i think amazon really is it the clear winner here. There really is no competitor that you could clearly define. The second thing when you are looking at designing your portfolio, okay, we just mentioned apple. We mentioned google. Facebook. And we mentioned facebook. Scott, those are technology companies. Amazon fits in your Consumer Discretionary sleeve. Tell me in Consumer Discretionary where you are going to find that growth story that amazon can provide you. Thats why all Portfolio Managers when theyre angling and looking at that Consumer Discretionary category, boy, amazon stands out as a must own. Pete, some are going to say, look, ill never buy the stock because of the valuation. Its a hard one to get your arms around. Is it right to is it right to make a call like this . A stock to own for the next five years even though certain people will never touch it because of the valuation . The reason i say yes and why im kicking myself because every time you bring this name up, i am saying i should have bought it. I continue to say that. I do have a position in baba, so i have a competitor, but i think when you look at this company and you are talking about dash and ecco and then obviously the online, which continues to grow and continues to feed the monster, so to speak, but its aws. Thats where i might disagree with joe. If thats the Technology Side of this trade and thats why you do put that in that bucket, it becomes an ecosystem just like he talked about years ago when he was First Talking so bullishly about apple, and he stayed an apple bull for a long period of time. Thats what i think he sees right now in if amazon, but i also think that you have to look at facebook in a similar manner. When you look at the typeline, you look at the fiveyear plan, all the rers of that, with zuckerberg. Right now im in baba. I should be in amazon, and im not, and im kicking myself. Ill take the bait. Im one of those ones that wont touch it because of the valuation. Lets be clear about something, though. Amazon is a great company. I have no qualms with the company itself. Its just the price of the stock. If you have been in it the stock for two years, you have almost tripled your money. The stock is probably going to go higher into yearend because who is going to sell it and take a tax gain this late in the year. Ma you have to think about it if you are a value investor, its a margin of safety. The stock trades somewhere around 75 times next years earnings. It would not be crazy for it to trade at 60 times next years earnings, and that would be a 20 hit. Thats the sort of risk i cant afford to take for my clients, and thats why i dont own it. Do you think thats possible, doc . A 20 hit . I mean, jim is saying thats thats the risk. I dont disagree. Lets just say its asymmetrical risk, yes. Its sort of where we want to say. Were not saying whats the best stock to own for the next five years. Whats the best internet stock to own for the next five years. Were simply saying out of his coverage universe, can you make the case that amazon is better to own for the next five years than facebook or apple . I think it really depends on what type of investor you are. If you are a momo growth investor, you probably love this chart, and you love what amazon is. On the flip side as a value investor, of those names, the with unthat appeaone that appea most is google. I dont own it. On a valuation combined with the innovation of that company, im taking a hard look at possibly adding google to the portfolio. It was said to be a sell last week. I was on the show with that last week. That was an interesting call. As it relates to google, i dont know if you could look technically and find the same type of really strong bullish chart that you could find with amazon. Jimmy and i talked about this before. Google has been chopping around a little bit here. The other thing about google i think google has seen a phenomenal rebound in terms of mobile search, and thats why you have seen the acceleration recently, but i just theres something about google and the hardware space, the two of those components, i just dont like that. Its been iffy in the past. What does it say about apple that no one is choosing apple as the best company to own for the next five years . I am. I own it for that reason. Ive owned this thing for almost a decade. I continue to own it. I mean, you talk about which stocks were owning. Thats the one i own, and when i look at the valuation and what i see in their ecosystem right now, scott, the growth factor that everybody said, well, its only 14 now. Who cares . Yeah, theyre growing, but its not growing fast enough. Well, ill tell you what, as that ecosystem grows, people will eventually turnover and start figuring out exactly why they ought to be in apple. This will be five years from now i think its a 200 stock. Easy. So if i throw this list at you, then negarian capital is putting with less question marks on it than probably an amazon might have right now. As i mentioned a second ago when you talk about amazon, you look at aws, and you look at the control that they have right now. Cloud, scott. I think thats something that cannot be discounted, and the growth and the competition, theyre going up against the biggest and the best, and theyre winning right now in the cloud. You got this event out west. Its going to be going on as we speak. Google will roll out these new hardware products. Maybe a competitor to amazons echo. Theres the live picture of that event. Josh lipton will talk about it with us later on. How about this . This a right move for google . Yes. Absolutely. The right move. Now, on the phone side, judge you probably bought google glass, right . I did. He did. He did . I bought them, and i returned them in a week. I sat there working with the things. It was the worst piece of equipment ever. As far as hardware, the type of hardware theyre doing is what pete is talking about. Echo. I mean, anything that this ties into the home, of course. They bought nest. This ties into the home. Whether or not you want to say, hey, whats the weather like outside . Play me this music. Whatever sort of thing. That is a very popular device that im quite frankly shocked that apple hasnt come up with because siri is so close to it already. Why not just make that piece of hardware and have apple have that in your home . Theyre not. At least not yet. Were pretty sure that google is going to do that. Google home, thats going to be big. The phone stuff im not quite as interested in. The chrome cast, it depends what the new things are as far as their streaming offerings because that could be big as well. Thats not really a big piece of hardware either. These are things they sell for almost nothing. Then it gets them into your petes word ecosystem. It gets them. They know what you are watching when you are watching it and Everything Else if had your house. I think thats the thing that facebook has done successfully is not gone into the hardware space through its chatter years ago. Not to you guys are going to come out with years ago we were talking about facebook potentially entering the phone space, and i think they acknowledge and said, apple will crush us. We acknowledge that. Apple is the leader. Were not going there. I think thats allowed them to go in other directions. Very successful in building the company and building the revenue growth. I look at it and i say to myself i dont know, apple could clearly go to 200 in the next five years. Pete could be right. I look at all these companies and say whats the growth catalyst over the next five years . It has to be international. I think facebook really can grow on the international side, and thats why im long facebook. Thats why i believe facebook over the next five years really has the ability to jump significantly. You ever hear of something called apple home . Home kit . You should check it out. Apple home kit. You should check roam the app store. They sell a lot of those, do they, judge . Is google selling a lot of those now . They might announce the product today. I dont think theyve already sold them. I think google is going to announce Something Like that at this hardware ethtoday. If you say so. I dont own it yet. Keyword yet. I keep looking at this. At best or at worst its growth at a reasonable price, but on the valuations, frankly, its coming down to value territory. All of these companies were talking about are diversifying their product lines. Apple is not content being in iphones. Google is not content alphabet is not content being in search. Everybody is diversifying. They all have moon shots. Not all of them are going to work, but some are going to work. I think its a good idea to get away from just being search and into hardware. You wouldnt buy google, though . No, i didnt say i wouldnt buy google. I said i dont know. The notes in front of me say john wouldnt buy it here. We were going over notes, and i said the same thing about amazon. Would not buy it here, and have not seen enough buzz about the new products. Is this you . Did you say that . Maybe he had google glass on when he was looking at the chart. Josh lipton is out there at the event. Okay. He will tell me if indeed they have this, and they start catching buzz about this at the event. Not just rumors about what they might come out, but what they come out with. Then i can change my opinion. Yes. We jumped the shark, apparently. All right. Heres what else is coming up on the Halftime Report. Cramer meets cuban. Mad moneys jim cramer joins us fresh off his interview with shark tank investor mark cuban. Live from San Francisco. Plus, taco tuesday takedown. Debating yum brands ahead of earnings and its big china spinoff. And tell us what you think. Is yum a buy ahead of results . Head to twitter to take our poll. More Halftime Report with scott wapner ahead. Najarian. Zbriefrmgts in honor of taco tuesday, were talking yum brands today, one of the largest restaurant companies. It is reporting earnings today with a 25 run. Is it time to get in, or is that run coming to an end . The brothers najarian at the wall ready to debate that. Pete, go first. Goes together like tacos and tuesdays. Hey, scott. Heres the interesting thing about this whole thing. When you look at yum, yes, its pushing towards the 52week highs. Theyre going in and about to split this stock. Take off that chinese component, and thats going to move up. A lot of people think that theres been too much volatility and too much uncertainty in terms of that component. That will be a separate stock. October 31st. That i think is a bullish thing right now. Also, looking forward, how about the fact that the taco bell franchise, they want to continue to expand. Not just domestically, but globally. They already have 300 plus stores. Theyre looking to do 1,000 stores by 2022 and oh, by the way, the fundamentals of this company, theyre buying back stock. They give you a yoeld. Theyre doing everything you would want. Its not about financial engineering. This is a Company Moving in the right direction. Well, and heres the negative side of that, scott. The negative side is its already up 25 yeartodate. In other words, the activists have been in here corvex and everybody, theyve pushed them in a direction. Where is the next catalyst koong from . It cant be coming from that, pete. What i worry about is Health Concerns, Health Concerns not only about problems like they had in china like pete accurately says. Theyre separating china out. Youre going to get a share for every share of yum brands you got. It will just be under a slightly different symbol, yumc. You also have rising food costs everywhere and Rising Labor Costs everywhere. Those three things, pete, health, labor, and food costs i think all of that makes me a little nervous holding yum brands up here. Its at a huge run. You look at the kfc brand and the pizza hut brand, great for this half of the year. That continues on. Yum is a buy. Analysts day is next tuesday. More details coming on the spin. And earnings tonight. So its a potentially precarious position to be in toting the negative case on this thing. If you get more details at analyst day, if earnings come in obviously in a more positive frame wher frame. True. My point about the activists, maybe i didnt make it strongly enough, but what is the additional catalyst . They finally got what theyve been asking for for years, and that is to separate or break up the company of sorts. Theyve done that. Now how do you get more, you know, octane, more boost out of this stock . I dont know how you do it. I do know the costs are going up as i said, and there are Health Concerns. Not just about the people that supply you with the pigs and the chickens, but also baskly is that a healthy way for you to consume food . Look at the chart too, right . From february to now. Huge. 25 . Yeah. Also, you are bumping up against 9488, the december of 2015 high. John talks about what a potential catalyst could be if you were to get above there. Now you are looking at possibly a technical breakout that takes the stock looking towards 100. Just a quick to both have you, on october 31st, you have the split. Which one would you rather own . Yum or yumc . I want yum. Because of where theyre going, the direction theyre going, and i think the unsir uncertainty of yum kc is the problem. China is now coming back, and everybody is excited about it again. This removes some of that volatility. Oh, by the way, the growth i talked about with kfc and pizza hut, take a look at the growth you are seeing in taco bell and the fact that they added the whole breakfast menus as well. Theres a lot of things going on right now that are very, very positive. Jim, youre with doc on this. You say no way. Look, i think its overvalued, period. You know what, scott, were at that time of the year, joe and i were just talking about that story. The stocks that have gone up all year and yum is one of them, are going to continue to go up. Frankly, i think its going to rise through the rest of the year. I dont think it has anything to do with the split. Although that is interesting. This is one of the yield candidates, right, that everybody has been turning to in the low yield environment and bonds. I think that continues through the end of the year, but 2017 is a totally new ballgame. All right, guys. You make your way back here. Weve been running a poll, by the way, on twitter asking is yum a buy ahead of earnings . 68 say no. 32 say yes. Go to twitter at Halftime Report. Cast your vote. Im sorry, scott. A restaurant recession. Weve been hearing that, but then there are stocks like yum. Its been going gang busters. Darden did have a good earnings beat, and mcdonalds has been most of this year a good buy. Frankly, i dont think this is one that you want to stay in through the end of the year. Scott, i know youre going to try. Is wall street growing more bullish or bearish on some of the bigger names in your portfolio . A new score card ranks stocks on the s p 500 by how much sentiment has either increased or decreased. You guys have looked at this list. Its interesting. Stocks with the largest percentage increase or decrease in bullish calls or bearish calls. Johnson controls, for example, just to give people an idea what were talking about, last year 46 of the calls or last month 46 were bullish. Now youve got 67 . People are growing more bullish on that name. Walmart, dr horton, goodyear, ppl corp. , crown castle, auto zone, lockheed all fall in that category. One that stands out for me is good year. You see 80 , up to 90 . When you see that, unfortunately, most people will say, oh, i have to fade that. Thats just way too many people thinking one thing. The story surrounding goodyear is a strong story. Its a story of fundamental growth, earnings growth, acceleration. Domestically in north america, which is 40 of their market, the high volume, the high margin tires in the light truck and heavy truck market, they dominate. I got you. You datalk about a herd. 90 , thats getting a little ridiculous, no . Thats not a reason to sell. Lets say, okay, its a herd alert when we begin to see a deterioration in the fundamentals. You are actually seeing an acceleration in the earnings. You know, one that pops out to me on the bearish side, scott, is freeport mac mor mcmo. A lot of people keep calling for industrial metalled, and its not happening. This is where freeport is all over the place in terms of mining all over these metals out of the ground. Unless they get the pricing up, theyre not going to make the profit that is people are expecting. I this i this is the right call on the bear, side. Pete. When i looked at the list, the one that i totally agree with is eli lily. Its a name im in with as well. Weve heard more and more people come on the show talking about, well, you know, yeah, a lot of this bet is on whatever the bets are. I look at the pipeline. I think the peopleline is deep. I look at where the stock is now, and i really look at the option activity weve seen over the last couple of months. All of that sort of adds up to me that this stock is going hard. People have an understanding of what were talking about. 74ers approximate were bullish lily. Last month. Now its up to 83 based on this. Yes. I like lockheed martin. Great wi agreed with the call 100 . On the bullish side. People getting more bullish. Im getting more bullish on it. I think defense spending is going to be going up, and these guys are one of the big beneficiaries of that. What about walmart . Walmart is on the more bullish side. Almost double the amount of analysts growing more bullish on walmart. I think we agree or disagree with that . I disagree. I dont think we can sit here and talk as glowingly as we do about amazon and then say the same thing about walmart. One of them is going to eat each others lunch, and to me its clear that am zplon is eating walmarts lunch. Im back at the fillste wh look at the big run the stock has had right now, scott, i look at this thing, and i go why is it going up . Ill tell you why its going up . People look at that yield. Theyre looking at almost a 3 yield in this name. When you look at the competitive landscape, you just talked about am zplon, thats where theyre competing. If theyre competing, how are those margins doing out there . We know how they are for amazon. You know about the event taking place. Google officially unveiling a pixel smartphone today among other hardware initiatives. Josh lipton has the details for us. Hey, josh. Thats right, scott. So google just now at this event announcing this new smartphone called pixel. Executives are on stage, scott, going over its different bells and whistles. A couple of different features that are going to make this phone different than the competition. One, it does come with google assistant. Thats the companys digital assistant. Its apple to siri, to amazons alexa and microsofts cortana. He does make this argument that you are moving from a mobile first to an ai first world and that google, in his opinion, has the edge just because of the sheer volume of data they have about their users, the weeks, months, and years weve all been searching for places and locations, that means google asana assenas assistants knows about our tastes and preferences. This phone can take advantage of googles moves in virtual reality. Remember, the Developers Conference in may, google unveiled day dream. Thats their vfrmt r. Platform. That is certainly a potential Growth Opportunity for google and another way that phone will be different than apple, than samsung. Now, one quick question about why this move now, scott . When you look at the premium yum segment of that smartphone market, it is under pressure. You did see shipments fall about 15 last year, according to idc. Why is google making this move that they clearly believe they can buck that trend . Im going to be speaking later to googles head of hardware. Lots of questions about this phone. Well hopefully get you some anlss. Were still, by the way, waiting for a couple of key points. One is distribution, and one is price. Im going to get back to learning to this keynote and bring you more answers when we dpet them. Thanks so much. I think i saw maybe something out there that suggested the price of these premium phones was going to be up there. Commensurate with what the iphone is. This is a smart move . Well, as i said at the top of the show, i dont know that the phones are really where the juice is for google here. Theyre making a big the operating system clearly is. The android operating system, thats something that google really as far as location, preferences, and as josh said, maybe even your budget, thats something that they can learn from searches that go on through the android platform. Were like apple can do through the ios. Peterson talked about before the ecosystem with apple. Now im going to take my apple phone. Im going to basically goodbye. Im going to get a google phone. I got a hard cover on it. What do i do with my mac or ipad, or the rest of everything that ive been buying all along with apple, that ecosystem you talk about . I got to obliterate all of it. We know how sticky it is. They use that word all the time when you listen to these analysts. It is sticky, scott, because of all of that. People have grown accustom to that, and all of their products continue to build out where. Gold prices slipping to the lowest level since the brexit vote and on pace for its worst day in more than a year. Were going to go to the futures pits for that trade next. Dont miss that. Starting early monday morning, theres tough talk on brexit that started the pound significantly lower. When the market 1310 to 1300 even was a big psychological and technical level. As soon as it broke through it, you could feel it accelerating from there. Yes, it started with the currency story. Then once it breaks the technical level, thin it cascades a bit. On a day where gold is down 35 on the later on line show, we are talking to peter shif from euro pacific capital. He is going to give us his take on gold and why you should probably still be in it. Scott, futures now. Cnbc. Com. 1 00 p. M. Speaking of metal, silver, youre out. Im out. America, go get long silver. I got out today. Thats the bottom. It just hasnt been working. It havt been working since brexit. Ive been trying to utilize it as a hedge in the portfolio. That hasnt worked. Gold and silver itself for some reason seemed to be breaking down, stalling out. Good first half of the year, but right now from a Risk Management standpoint, the right thing to do is get out. All right. Up next mad money host jim cramer joins us from one market in San Francisco. He just spoke with mark cuban, billionaire investor. Well get the highlights from jimmy next, among other things. Halftime report back right after this. Im here at the td ameritrad trader offices. Im sure it was an interesting chat. Give us the highlights. We heard a ton of great stuff, and you are always going to get that. Shark tank. I did have to start off with the headlines this weekend, though, about trump and about taxes. Lets just say cuban has an opinion, and its based on fact. Here, take it. We talk about a 915 million loss. Own it. Right . Thats the example a potential president needs to set. We have failures. Own them. Learn from them. If you kwant admit a failure, youre not an entrepreneur or a good businessperson. Theres nothing brilliant about what you are doing. Obviously he is ashamed of it. What can i say . This guy is about learning. A lot of people feel that he is a mavericks, obviously, were big sports fans. Your show, the way i set my life up, actually. What cuban is about is facing your demons and beating them. What he is saying is, listen, a loss is a demon to face. Triumph over it. Thats why i love him. I know youll be speaking with a number of big names out there, jimmy, while youre there. Let me ask you about sales force specifically because bennihoff is like me when i got my first paycheck. He has money burning a hole this his pocket something awful, it would seem. He wants to go out and buy something. Whether its twitter or something else. Do you come away with a better idea of that this week, do you think . Look, im here to learn about artificial intelligence. Im here to learn about machine learning. Im here to learn about big data because these are the themes over and over again. No one really knows whats going to work. What i think that benioff offers is trying to attract a customer who he can say, lisp, we hasay, the data. Where do you get raw data from . Well, one place you can is twitter. There are not a lot of Trophy Properties left. Forget about what twitter looks like now. It is not what he is interested in. What he is interested in is knowing you and the way you can know you is facebook. The way you can know you is google and amazon. The way you can know you is twitter. Theres not a lot of guys that know enough about you. Let me ask you about another tech company. I would love you to opine on this munster call today on am zplo zbl amazon. Munsters universe, by the way, includes facebook and alphabet and apple. Well, look, were all about total Addressable Market when were out here at tam, and what is a big tam than Worldwide Retail . Its you could argue its trillions of dollars. I keep thinking about delivering alpha. Bill miller saying that this was the easiest double that he has seen in three years. Well, its got two components. Its got the web services, which everybody seems to be trying to take share of and not been able to. Then, of course, theres retail. When i look at it, i dont want to go up against him. Ill tell you what they are like. Theyre the vikings defense. It is the bread butter business of amazon as retail. Not even so much aws, which is the big growth driver. You put those two things together and you look at it within a fiveyear investment prism, and what do you have . Well, i think you have a company that has made it so that we figured out something that we dont like to do, which is shop for things that are not necessarily fashion. Fashion, by the way, is holding up as a theme but there are not many places that are really gifted about fashion. Everything else, we dont have time. He understands time. I think when you speak to these entrepreneurs, what theyre saying is, brilliant zuckerberg is doing this. We want to multitask. Anything that saves you time for what we want to do in life we will pay more for. Suddenly amazon comes along and says you can pay less and get time back. Who else can give you time . Thats our precious commodity. We dont live forever. We need more time. Hes giving us time. We did sort of on the desk this conversation. Ill ask you the same question. If you look at that coverage universe and you say of facebook, of apple, of alphabet and amazon, whats your best advice for a stock out of those four for the next five years . Is it amazon or is it one of the others . Well, those others are to some degree, advertising is facebooks bailiwick. I dont know whats the future of bigtime advertising. Apple right now were seeing it only as a cell phone company. As soon as it switches over to being a Services Company with a cell phone razor blade model. The moment they go razor blade, then i think that apple is a better investment because the pe is so low. But right now i have to admit that amazon has more places to expand, more ways to cut costs, more ways to provide convenience to us and theyre not bound by the four walls of what we think about tech. It is really something that is an extension of our lives. I dont know how i could live without amazon. The other i dont know how i could live without my iphone but i guess some people dont mind a phone that explodes. I dont want a exploding phone. To me that seems like a huge drag. But many people, it is like fourth of july every day with samsung i mean it is unbelievable. You got to be sure to throw it. Right . You guys who hold it, we see what happens. You got to throw it when that happens. We know whats going if it goes off in your hand i mean if it goes off in your hand, whats the point . You got to throw that phone. I like my apple phone. As far as im concerned, i slept with it last night. I woke up, im fine. You are a certain defensive end for a certain Football Team in new york. I didnt want to go there. I let you go there i didnt say anything. I said you had a huge lineup coming up, jimmy. What do you have . Look, first of all, if youre not out here you dont know any of these companies. Work day, a dog fight with oracle. Intuit, dog fight with h r block. Proof point. Proofpoint, i got to find out whether gary steele would have been able to stop the yahoo hack. I also want to find out why dont people care about the hacks anymore. And maybe if you set up false email, you have to pay for it. Wells fargo. Maybe truepoint cou proofpoi have stopped that. Thanks, jim. Nice win, vikings. Hey, Blind Squirrel finds nut. Hey, stop stop. You guys will come back to earth soon. Well see you soon. Jim, thanks. You have a trade . One thing im sure you are all noticing, there is a lot more m a activity going on. Not just sort of in the leading edge of technology, we are seeing it in the hardware space with the chips. I think thats going to continue. The people who have been acquiring look at qualcomm last week they shoot up. With sales forces with a lot of money in its pocket sorry, scott, you were saying it was like with your first paycheck, theyre going to be acquiring something. It is clear. The stock is going to go higher, just like every other acquirer is. Three hours to go until the close. Well show you where the markets stand right now and final trades on other side. The kbe, kre on pace for their best day in some two months. Banks rocking. You know what . Citi group is at the top of that trade. But it doesnt actually make that much sense because Economic Indicators from yesterday, a lot of people started to ratchet down the Third Quarter gdp numbers by. 1 here and there. Thats not good for banks. Last week they raised them though. Atlanta fed took them down again. But it has been so enjoyable to spend a couple of days not talking about the fed reacting to all the data and what are they going to do. Financials are going up today. I think financials are placed to be. Regionals are go diagram up. Give me two banks. Bbt is a name that i own. It is a regional bank. I like that name. Want another one . Yeah. Thats what two is. Okay. Blackrock. I own Blackrock Asset management. Thats the problem in the financial world. Way to hang with me. You got a final trade . We doing final trades now . What do you think were doing . Lets look at the refiners. These things are still going higher. It is really flying in the face of margins as well. Maybe what the market is telling us is that margins are Getting Better and none of us know it. Marathon petroleum is my top pick in that space. I think they have the best geographic coverage. I like the refiners here and marathon petroleum. Quick on the refiners, a lot of it fundamentally, refiners, the story can change when you have something introduced like a hurricane. You will see a lot of shutins. By the way, oil is threatening 50 again. Oil is threatening 50. How do you play that . Pete talked yesterday, he had unusual activity in halliburton. Im playing it through sum b schlumberger. I like the bigger type names. I dont know if you want the beta type names. Go a little defensive. Quality type of names. Remember last week everything on taras list was a buy. Supply right now is through the roof, as john would say . Through the roof. Libya, nigeria, they are pumping at alltime highs. Dream force going on in San Francisco where cramer is at. We have unusual activity in crm. Thats not surprising since youve got a pretty good catalyst here. But there is a whole bunch of eyeballs that are going to be on this. We talked about all of the potential purchases for salesforce. What about salesforce itself as an investment . Do you buy the stock at 70 50 . They were buying the 77. 50 calls. The second or third time in the last two weeks theyve been buying upside calls. They start at 72. 50. Then they went to 75. Now they went to 77. 50. Home improvement world, home depot, everybody always seems to forget about lowes. Weve seen nothing but paper coming into lowes. Looking for more and more upside, scott. I think they are delivering. They always seem to go back and forth with one another. I think lowes is making that catchup trade right now. I am in those calls. You are not in the stock. I am not in the stock. Low volatility environment, you own calls. Good stuff, guys. Thanks for watching. See all of you tomorrow. Power lunch begins now. Scott, thank you very much. A busy hour here an power lunch. Coming up, two hours in fact as the markets sort of calm ahead of the Vice President ial debate tonight. We will have talking about Holiday Cheer, a new report from the National Retail federation indicating that holiday sales are going to be good. Maybe even better than they were last year. Well talk about that and who the winners may be. So some Holiday Cheer on the menu. And also, the breadstick boom. There you got it. I have no idea what thats about but well all find out together as we explore the breadstick boom. Brian. Th
