Now my mother's favorite Hans brother was Alexander and she used to talk very very fondly of him to me and to tell me about his exploits and in their house since as long as I can remember has hung his citation with a photograph of him in front of his croft or one of the aircraft a thief. And that citation when my mother died came to me. And it is been in my house ever since the middle seventy's it traveled with me to Brazil for 3 years and then came home and is still hanging on our wall today. He's very fondly remembered member of the family my father and my. His nephew were also flies in in the 1st World War So there's a According to history of flying within the family and indeed today my eldest son who lives in America is a pilot for Jet Blue captain and flies all over America so when Peter got in touch in fact actually I got in touch with Peter I found something about Paul meadow on the internet and got in touch with him and so sort of became sort of semi involved in this business of raising the memorial when the memorial was opened Peter invited me to come in take part in the ceremony and read the lesson which which I did so it's a very very special day and getting to find where my uncle was buried. Visit his grave and then to visit visit the site where he he flew and subsequently died was a very moving experience I've been interested in aviation all my life.
