player playing in those days. so i was very fortunate that i was able to meet all these women once i got into golf. i was, i think, 16 and a half when i went to play the ladies all india for the first time. my exposure was actually women, we were playing a match play tournament. i was quite bewildered to see women playing golf in saris. in my 50 years of golf, i have dreamt about playing golf in a sari, but never got round to doing it. you know, over the years, dress codes changed for women. but i used tojust, i'm still fascinated by the fact that a lot of golf courses changed their dress code and you can only play now in trousers and shirts and all kinds of things. but i'm still fascinated by the fact that, why can't i play golf one day in a sari? so this was my early
