better in the south showers becoming better in the south of england, northern ireland and scotland away from the far north. maybe some snow towards the borders, the far north—east of england, sunshine across other parts of northern england, still cold everywhere. temperatures struggling to reach one or 2 degrees and we are staying in the cold weather through the next few days, find some wintry showers bringing risk of icy conditions and probably some more freezing fog around for the start of the week.
