Thousands of people have taken to the streets of the Canary Islands, to protest against the impact of mass tourism. They say too many visitors are damaging the environment, and pricing locals out of the housing market. Our reporter Simon Jones has the story. In the baking Spanish Heat that helped bring in 16 Million visitors to the canaries last year, local people are hot under the collar. The message from Tenerife Tourism has gone too far. Translation the Canary Islands says enough is enough. They have a limit. Our resources and our population cannot take anymore.
