pubs and restaurants have already reopened. Decisions on hospitality and holidays in wales are expected in earlyjuly. In scotland, the hope is that from 15th july all holiday accommodation can open up, along with indoor areas of pubs and restaurants and hairdressers and barbers. The divers discovered a perfectly preserved cave, with evidence of mining from 11,000 years ago. Whats really remarkable about the sites is their preservation. This is incredibly rare in archaeology to find evidence of human activity that is this old and this well preserved. They found ancient tools, evidence of fire pits and signs of excavation of ochre, the vibrant, red clay often used for rituals and artwork by the first people to inhabit the americas. The many hours spent on this
