Its things like who does the cleaning, who does the washing up, who makes the beds, who makes the evening meal . Now, this year, a clear majority of people said that it should be equally divided between men and women. However, when it comes to the reality, it is a totally different situation. Take a look at these graphs. The top line is who thinks that they should be shared equally . However, when it comes to actually doing the task, it is mainly women who are doing the household cleaning. It is mainly women who are making the evening meal. Yep, you guessed it. It is mainly the women who are doing the washing and the ironing. However, the authors of the report say that attitudes have changed since the first one.
