The authorities, National Defense forces in particular are saying this was not spotted on radar and they do not really believe these accounts are true. But the fact remains about ten islanders are testifying to this having happened. I spoke to a local counselor on that particular island and he says many people have come up with this story and come up with saying it had red and i believe white colors, the same kind of markings of the Malaysian Airlines jumbo jet would have had.
