How it has affected nation the same of course is still in South Africa but wait till they get back down and we'll hear from one of the passengers who flew the inaugural nonstop London to Perth. Down Under Of course 17 hour flight to get the week's news from Brazil about. With regards to how. Has apologized for any hurt that him. May have cooled and his policy has caused his route to me. Do you remember in an hour's time we'll open up the phone lines prop Aronsen phone in the question is what the children need to know about the birds and the bees and is it parents or is it schools that should teach them 1st so the fallout from the Australian cricket ball tampering round is continue with Captain Steve Smith banned for one match by crickets world governing body Smith said the team's leadership group was behind the plan for Cameron Bancroft to crush the ball during the 3rd Test between Australia and South Africa the incident has shocked the world of cricket has an emotional JIM MAXWELL discussing the incident was commentating for A.B.C. Radio and do you not remember being as disappointed in a strident saying. I feel an unknown number of his trial ins a number of my colleagues here would feel at the moment about what I did yesterday and I think it was just side of Blyton since side is stupid image naive it could go on it was disappointing hugely disappointing. Commons guys around the week it opened outside that was the shop want to just outside the line of the off stump sorry I'm going a bit my solicitor. Even the Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has been talking about this we all walk up this morning. Shot and bitterly disappointed. From South that. It seemed completely beyond belief that the cricket team had been involved in trade. After all our cricket is. Our role model. And cricket. Is synonymous with being applied. how can abstain fian guides in trading liked the whole nice to hauled those who wear the baggy grain op on a pedestal about of high as you can get it is friday for me ha than any politician that's for sure this is i saw feeing disappoint and it's wrong and i look forward to cricket us trial hiking decisive action so but there's raise had crick your ride suit gideon haigh gk who joins us from ill but now a good a and when year the prime minister talking in those terms so when you'd say these the temperature of the moods you know sir any of the moment book i'm a reception you think the to say will get when they return off to the stool south africa little of being reporting cricket for 20 thought of $27.00 is and i cannot recall public a in running so strongly and uniformly against and australian cricket team and i don't think it's specifically about of this incident i think that it this is part of a continuum of misbehavior or what sort of ethical fudging a train and bordering on transgression the that has grieved and irritated astroid ins for quite some time and for discontent is a localized on the on this cheating incident but it's but it symbolize the general disquiets the term that a straight inch of filth about a doubt crickets and knit and i think reaffirms the con of the proprietorship the destroying was fail about their they cricketing they once to feel good about them by want to feel positive about the lay want to feelers of the genuine representatives and frankly it's a done to the moment boat they'd beat england fair and square It just changed and yes in some respects they are they fulfilled their prime directive but maybe they took that as being a kind of a license to continue on the on their merry way the ends kind of justifying the names certainly stories record on the road for the last few years has been very poor and it's almost as though a bit of a siege mentality develops around the table when it's abroad this series is being notable for its. On both sides for the anger bordering on on malfeasance. And I think that the strivings perhaps a comment to the. The stimulus of the of the moment Smith used the word desperation in his press conference and I think it found self in it as the predicament and and he thought that it required desperate means but unfortunately he sort of eased out of step with with the public that have supported him so hotly . Surely the most winning the Ashes fair and square. Well the interesting thing is that we often praise our cricket is for for their focus for they are living in the moment for the ignoring posterity and and being oblivious to the past and concentrating their energies on not on the next move they make. This was a case of Smith doing exactly that. Losing all sense of what's right and wrong in order to to win a trick. But they can become very disparate deliberates to be dispersed they breed too and to do want to types that's why I don't see Smith and Warner as being so much guilty individuals as as symptomatic of a kind of a cultural malaise in this in his cricket team for which responsibility is quite widespread how does that reflect on the coach and interest rate. But I think to look at this incident specifically. It's kind of a it's called policy on the run with carrying out the conversation and it took place between state Smith and David Warner about what they would do the conversation was overheard by a younger player junior player Cameron Bancroft Cameron Bancroft put his hand up he home to get to do the cheating for his senior players. And you have to ask the question is that the way in which junior players get on in the Australian side. Do they in India themselves to the elders this scene is by demonstrating a kind of a do what it takes mentality. And you've got to wonder where the cultural drivers in that are strangers are think this down layman got a lot of prizes early on in his coaching career 5 years ago for changing the culture of this train train but that was attendant. Thank you really appreciate you talking to us Gideon Haigh the cricket writer talking to us from Melbourne and the adult who matters in the center of a sex scandal involving Donald Trump has appeared on the American C.B.S. Television Network to tell his side of the story during the interview Stormy Daniels whose real name is Stephanie Clifford said she had to say she relationship with Donald Trump and also claim that she had received threats to keep quiet about events speech our correspondent James Cook who's in Los Angeles James I know that the interview is still going on is that it's run over time because of the possible out there but what's been said so far. Yes It's just finished I think this just just literally as you were saying that I think it's finished March Madness they call the basketball this part of the basketball season but here is Phil be applied to politics in the US as well at the moment what we learn from this interview well stormy day by Stormy Daniels account she says she had sex with Donald Trump only once in a hotel room in Nevada in 2006 when she was 27 years old and and he was there 60 she says she wasn't attracted to him but she says he offered her a place on his reality T.V. Show The Apprentice and The encounter was consensual I am not a victim it was one of the quotes that jumps out from the interview now if we go forward a few years to 2011 Stormy Daniels whose real name is Stephanie Clifford told her story to a magazine but it wasn't published and a few weeks after that she says that a man approached her in a Las Vegas car park she was there with her young daughter putting her into a child seat in the car she says the man told her leave Tromp alone forget the story and that he added looking at the daughter it would be a shame of something happened to her mom just before the 2016 presidential election if they were then leap forward again Mr Daniels accepted 130000 US don't dollars from Mr Trump's personal lawyer Stormy Daniels characterize that as hush money she said she accepted it because she was concerned for her family's safety but critics of the president claim that was an illegal campaign contribution of course we should say Mr Trump's lawyer denies threatening Ms Daniels and Mr Trump through the White House denies the affair why is STILL be done and the bird is now again if you know was she still go through one of the burning rose. Doesn't do that is she she does because she did sign a non-disclosure agreement and Mr Trump's legal team she says threatened her I think in fairness that is one way of. Putting it with huge financial penalties for speaking out they say that the agreement. Subjected to a penalty of a 1000000 U.S. Dollars every time she broke the agreement and they are now they say essentially countersuing her for $20000000.00 U.S. Dollars for breaking the agreement that was address right at the start of the program I understand Cooper the host on C.B.S. 60 Minutes said to you could be fined a $1000000.00 I don't really understand why you're here and she said because it was very important for me to be able to defend myself she said she wanted to to set the record straight she didn't want to be made out as a liar she didn't want people thinking she had done this for money although it is fair to note that it has been this is the whole incident in the past few months has been very good for her career her profile as risen she's been going on tours of strip clubs around the United States and commanding It has reported a very substantial fee for doing so and what will be important to this be our presidents who. Well I think the most significant question now does surround the the payment the $11.00 days before the presidential election $130000.00 U.S. Dollars So what's that about $90000.00 pounds. That the lawyer insists that the money was not a campaign contribution but the program which interviewed Stormy Daniels also carried an interview with Trevor Porter a former chairman of the Federal Election Commission who was appointed We should note by a Republican President Bush Sr and he his view and this obviously was the area he used to be very involved in a senior level was that this does look like a coordinated illegal in kind contribution for the purpose of influencing the election as I say that's denied by the lawyer and indeed Mr Trump's team generally denies any allegation of impropriety but I think what it will now be interesting to see is is that investigated and in the court cases that are now the 2 sides battling each other you know will Mr Trump be have to submit a deposition that is a sworn statement under oath out of court and will that expose him to other legal jeopardy indeed while the other allegations by other women and that are other allegations will they end up being fleshed out in court as well so there is certainly danger for Mr Trump both a personal and a professional capacity and of course then there's his wife to deal with James Cook in Los Angeles thank you very much least 37 people moving killed in a fire at a shopping center in the Siberia of offered dozens of stool missing and many of those caught up in the fire of food to be children some in terms who's been following the story so I mean what we know about how this 1st once in. Some sense in your head paint a bit of a picture this is one of those large mall and more sort of Cuban shape than it was . Condoning 2039. Cinema screens are restaurants a whole complex if you like and local media say Plimer inquiry show that the play started in a cinema in that complex in the Authority said the place was packed in my spec with Sunday shoppers and images we've seen show smoke rising up from the reef and coming out of the Wynn days we're told about the area affected about $1500.00 square metres about 3rd of an acre a pretty big area and you just can imagine the desperation on the ground we've only seen a limited number of shots from the air and outside in a show for our crews. Down the shopping center but I have to say they look so tiny in comparison on these so life hang in these herd resting these ladders up against the size of the building to try to bring it under control and this is in the city of Kemah Rover do we know anything about those Yeah I mean is this in Siberia I think she said of the top cover of and it doesn't industrial city AK whole producing area one of the biggest about a half 1000000 population is if the A map is sort of east of Kazakhstan. If you show us a picture where it is the number of people to lose their lives rose quite dramatically tonight we reported that 4 children died 26 injured but it's been confirmed that least 37 people have been killed with dozens missing according to Russian media which children are Mung those who are missing say because there are a lot of attractions in that complex a children would be there for example at the zoo and the masses were saying the deputy governor of camera regions as 13 bodies were found in one of the cinemas a very very desperate situation there's a fire as we speak is under control well images are seen tonight has been going on throughout the day and into the evening still show flames coming out of the roof there so efforts do seem to be continuing nearly 3. Emergency workers at the scene T.V. Pictures show people jumping from windows at the building so seems that you know this is going to go on for some time yet we're not seeing images yet inside the building even near the building yet they obviously are still trying to bring it under control as far as we can tell and the caused just not known at this stage no one knows quite how this is happened but it did seem to get much worse in terms of the death toll it did seem to suddenly go up so quite a an appalling situation there and of course if there are new developments on that story overnight you bring that to Simon thank you Simon Thomas and Jeremy Corbyn has apologized for the pain caused by pockets of anti Semitism within the Labor Party the Labor leader said he was insanely sorry and would be meeting with representatives from the Jewish community in the coming days earlier I asked our political course one of the what's and what's prompted this apology Well what's prompted it I think it was largely the prospect of an open letter to him from big Jewish groups the Board of Deputies of British Jews a list of umbrella group that covers lots of Jews Christians and Jews charity is called The Jewish edition Council and they're open letters called Enough is enough they released it at 10 o'clock last night but they're also having a demonstration at Westminster ahead of meetings Labor's parliamentary Labor Party this evening and effectively what they're saying is that. Little believe that Jeremy Corbin himself has done enough to tackle anti-Semitism within Labor's ranks they say there's an institutional failure to deal with this but also that he's issued a statement supposing I did say which is him but does nothing to address it and he himself has sided with the anti Semites as very strongly wanted stuff and I think there are several things which have prompted it 1st of all they feel that people within the Labor Party it might be guilty of anti Semitism at a behavior disciplinary process hasn't been rebuffed enough or quick enough but what I think we ignited this was. The Revelation 2012 long before his Labor leader Jeremy Corman posted on Facebook here's a part in support for an artist who is complaining that his mural might be taken down though many people are Jewish community and more widely think that depicted very stereotypical and systematic images images of veggies people that's their accusation the artist might disagree but that was certainly their perception and it took Jeremy Corbin in some of the eyes of some of his own M.P.'s quite a while to respond to this and when he did he basically says that he regretted it should have looked closer at the image and indeed it was anti-Semitic and distressing and they felt perhaps a stronger apology from him would be necessary so now he's being pushed not just by some of his own M.P.'s but pushed by these Jewish groups as well to take stronger action because from protests started to the Labor Party over well there will be a demonstration which will include some Labor M.P.'s in Parliament Square just ahead of meeting the parliamentary Labor Party but it's interesting some Labor M.P.'s as I say were been pushing Jeremy Corbyn And I think they'll be openly supporting this as well that some of them took and went away street ing people like that have been really tweeting this this this letter to to their own party leader now what Gerry Corbin's done I think several things 1st of all of course he said as he's always done that he opposes anti-Semitism that he also wants to stamp it out that it doesn't tolerate it but as well as saying that he regrets it as well as saying that he opposes it though he also says that he is sincerely sorry for the pain that anti-Semitism has caused in some pockets of the Labor Party so saying that this is a white spread threat Labor Party but when it's a card is causing some pain he does have to rebuild trust with the Jewish community and he said where have meetings with Jewish community leaders over the next few weeks and months and he does talk doesn't it very cool when about wanting to stamp out these pockets in the party Well clearly. Do to convince people that he's got a grip on this because these accusations of anti Semitism just keep coming back though but from his point of view I think he probably thinks that his opponents are overstating the problem quite frankly that's certainly the view of one of his close allies Chris Williamson who was mentioning this just the other day but some people equally on the other side's argument think he's playing down the problem is in denial about the problem so there are a range of things which he could do for example he could decide that Labor officials should be prioritizing less that they should suspend everyone is potentially guilty of. It isn't he could also perhaps some people are suggesting perhaps a good image of speech condemning. Semitism not just in Labor Party but in all its forums that he should be perhaps accepting a. Universally agreed definition of anti-Semitism for example and he should also perhaps be engaging more he has bet the chief rabbi has met the Board of Deputies of British Jews before British of doing more perhaps to engage with the with the Jewish community and making it very clear that you know while some people in his party take an anti sinus point of view is not acceptable for that to slip into anti Jewish sentiment so there are a range of things which people in the Labor Party are saying he could do the question is whether he will go ahead and do those things what he would say of course is already addressed this issue I think that's what he feels because he had this a review carried have a Shami Chakrabarti into allegations and to semitism in the party he also takes in the party's procedures that he can also discipline people know not just generally and groans a very system of discrimination but specifically for anticipated behavior so he will say that he has actually tried to get a grip on this problem already and he personally opposes it that's our political correspondent it wasn't the 1st ever nonstop commercial flight between Australia and the U.K. Turkestan in. And is a friend put on Sunday morning at 53 AM flight F 9 completed its 9000 mile journey from Perth in just over 17 hours is part of plans for Qantas to Alger long haul floods and schedules which could see London to Sydney a 20 hour flight arrive in 2022. Was on the flight and hasn't yet been to bed and he told me what the flight was like them I was in the premium economy section sorry the one down from for business. And it was you know it was much better than I thought it would by 17 hours is a pretty daunting prospect for one flaw but its aim to take are pretty well we were sort of working so hard at it it did seem to go pretty quickly and by the time that we landed later this morning as we same 2 chippy having a lot more pressure than we probably would have been in most other flights coming from across from Delhi article will have been trying to act in the sim and see how our flight could be would you do still keep quiet so if we have I was 17 out as. Well I actually downloaded quality books an album to listen to but I didn't get a chance to do the work of building things and speaking to passengers and doing interviews and. And then I did manage to get a couple of hours sleep it but not many. Guys surprisingly Foster heard of than I expected it would be. A package plane was a plane back trip. Yet we believe it was pretty much full that there was one a Tory spece a unicorn to me but apart from that it was pretty full quarter to quarter of. A bunch about 30 are made here and there was quite a few. Ministers travelling government and it was certainly one that the tried minister as well. The economy was it was pretty much full of your average Joe from one of those sites and did everybody enjoy the trip was everybody as sanguine about the long journey as you seem to have been. I think the majority of paperwork where we didn't really hear. Of any magic compliance whatsoever that a few people have become really ready 2nd by it I would have preferred to have a little bit more leg room. When you're travelling economy as far as that's probably what's going to be the case that a lot of people decide that it's a lot better than the other long distance company farcical have done before sorry. We are all right in the way of that it was a success I think travelling in an economy would be a little bit tough we did have a day one not sure which it was just slightly better but all seem to take are pretty seriously Talking of which the airline did say that they had made some specific changes to make the flight more enjoyable Did you notice the difference and the I don't know whether it was just drinking the Kool-Aid but I think that we did feel more fresh that I changed a lot of fun typically designed faces like the cabin pressure of fame had been outed as like a special lighting system on a sort of like a 15 minute lighting process that has come but it sort of the last go with you which is a problem to trigger something in your brain as well that of a certain types of service or source or trying to prevent the effects of jetlag I see a back channel Little's in a little over here how about the jet lag. Are the same pretty good you're on we'll move we'll call you back in a few hours and the. New jet that go how do the crew manage with able to enjoy all the merits and all of things I got I've got a pretty well old machine of of China drivers were chatting to. To the pilot and she said that or to have set shifts where people are just sort of watching the clock with analog sort of like the trails all sort of bizarre actually have a bit of a bit of an understanding with the going for a few hours and then with that sort of ready right when the table well rested then they'll swap box or there's quite a few star phone board but it monitors bank for full of the by a busy lot of. Providers and pretty well. What difference does it make to the journey I mean I'm presuming this isn't the 1st time that you have made that exact journey the exact same route what difference does it make that you don't have a stop over in Dubai will Singapore all be. Like our characters for example our. Toddler Years they were inspiring us are sort of it's all sort of cross or somewhere else in the rest of R.S.R. The drug that aspect of it is pretty appealing to Mars travelers I think. A lot of table it's forced to buy a case for tourism 1st trailer and all the wires that are bringing across British and European tourists like it's so easy to get to a stroller and absolutely to W.R.I. I think for a lot of families that have kids and probably children carefully quite durable getting on or off climb that of caving tearing women in check at airports or I think that there are just on one on one flight that you just see them down there then I think it's a lot more appealing to have to pay for that especially especially as he must be knackered by the piss in their choices after the 17 hour flight all the way from Perth. After the news is will gather we Susan from Brazil among some things movers let's go the latest 5 our headlines as shall Bambara. It is a long line smartphones and tablets this is B.B.C. 5 Live. On the adult film interest Stormy Daniels says she was threatened to keep quiet about allegedly having sex and don't trump she told us television she was approached by an anon and instructed not to say anything about the council at the hotel in 2006 Mr Trump in early as one in a fan with Jeremy Coleman says he'll meet members of the Jewish community to rebuild confidence in Laban he's apologized for the pain caused by what he called pockets of anti semitism in the poncy. Thousands of people have been protesting across counseling following the rest of the region's former leader . He's facing rebellion challenges following a disputed independence referendum in sport it is the final day the 1st Test between New Zealand and England Kevin Howes has the latest in Oakland and we've just got on the way 98 point one overs in total for England to survive on this final day cuties and Park 7 wickets remaining at the start of play here back in 2013 also in March the 26th when they pulled off an amazing regard to draw the much hear it all when they began the day with 6 wickets remaining so some hope maybe the weather forecast though is fine throughout so there's very little help and assistance on England's way from that point of view they've taken the school and I want 136 for 3 so they trailed by 233 runs Milan is on 19 and Ben Stokes has made his way out of course the start of play today because Joe Root was out the last ball of play yesterday but Stokes is under way with a leg side so he's got himself 4 runs there so 136 for 3 trailing by $233.00 the rest of the sport come from shows Osaka Bubba Watson cruised to victory in the final of the World Golf Match Play in Austin beating Kevin case in a 7 in 6 more from the B.B.C.'s golf correspondent in Carter the final turned into a non contest with Bubba Watson romping to his 2nd title of the year the big hitting left handed complete control needing only one birdie as he took the 1st 5 holes against an out of sorts Kevin from then on it was only a matter of time because no prolonged proceedings by parodying the elevons But Watson closed it out $7.00 and $6.00 at the next this victory suggests he must be regarded as one of the favorites for the Masters that's ornament Watson has won twice before Ronnie O'Sullivan has his mojo back. Ahead of the World Championships Nuka next month the rocket took the Players Championship title in plundered no with a $104.00 win over SEAN MURPHY In the final and he had to come from behind in 5 of the 10 frames he won in a lot of games 1st you know which showed he was probably you know feeling confident but just kept breaking down on fifty's and fall is and stuff like that and you know I just kept winning little safety exchanges and in making you know good frame and clearances so not not the type of match to want to play with being on a charge and well I was winning the French in one visit but you know I've done what I had to do Leicester Tigers director of rugby mount O'Connor says Jonny May took a nasty knock to the head in their premiership win over Wasps monitory Lang is also likely to be out for a couple of weeks with a pictorial injury Meanwhile the Wales and lions tight head prop Adam Jones has announced that he's going to retire at the end of this season reading women manager Kelly Chambers says the Chelsea ladies goalkeeping coach has apologised after their 2 or League draw for attempting to punch a member of her backroom staff chambers though says it's unlikely the club will pursue the matter further Now I don't think so we're like we've got a great relationship with Chelsea and that was a disappoint inside of it but it is what it is and I see if what we want to do if we take it 5 or not that we'll know is he in the moment stuff and that's the frustrating thing that things aren't action happen because it doesn't reflect on the game of football that we've had today elsewhere in the W S L Liverpool were beaten 4 nil by Birmingham whilst Manchester City Arsenal and Everton are all through to the women's F.A. Welcome to the fog like football daily podcast Download Now using your hard cast and. Crew the U.K. This is B.B.C. 5 Live up all night with us and by the B.B.C.'s Frank Gardner has good size here through Heathrow Airport after he was last stranded on a plane for nearly 2 hours after staff lost his will it isn't the 1st time the journalist has encountered such problems he told 5 Live about previous experiences of landing at Heathrow if the plane is not on a stand I.E. Not on an average a corridor or then we have to wait for the high left to turn up you know which is one of the sort of thing that goes up on hydraulics when you get loaded in like hot lunch and taken off the plane often that turns out very late or in some cases not at all had to be carried off physically by the pilot the captain and the copilot they get they broke all regulations I went to which airline it was but they said look we're really sorry the hell it just isn't coming that that was Heathrow. This is happened so many times that somebody from ground handling which is subcontracted we'll go and take think it's a great idea to take the wheelchair off into the terminal and I just can't think what possessed somebody to do that if you travel with a wheelchair. You need it it's you know this is not rocket science if somebody is in a wheelchair they kind of want it with them to don't take it off to the terminal but on Sunday the airport stepped up and met with Frank he spent an hour explaining his issues to the chief executives Heathrow John Hutton Kaye who then spoke to SEE been added I do accept that I have that in some circumstances we get it wrong and we need to fix that but I don't accept that it's a call. An issue for all passengers with reduced mobility because I can see the feedback that we get but it happens too often and we need to get it right and that is why I was glad to spend time with Frank today to understand exactly what did happen and how we can fix it and one of the issues here is that as a passenger travelling through you don't care whether it is the airline or ground handler or the airport you just want to see effects and somebody has to stand up and take that responsibility and that is what I committed to trying today that we would take responsibility for working with all the partners in the chain to make sure the people get a good service are many complaints have you received over the last year from the simple people a boy matters like this that's not a number that I could give off have lied to see the overall passenger satisfaction scores for passengers with reduced mobility and they have been steadily increasing as we have invested more in improving the service for passengers he met anybody else has written a complaint a disabled person who's written a complaint the next day I haven't met anyone in the way that I that I did with rank and that. I think Frank. Chose to. Use his profile to bring it to our attention I'm grateful that he did and we make changes as a result of that you have to put the point here John is high much do you or your airport care about all the other passengers should took someone with a celebrity near him to get you to take notice to a disability matter no I don't expect a phantom within 24 hours of I'm writing a complaint we know this has happened many other occasions how many people have you ignored up the line well we certainly will have been occasions where we didn't get it right but when I look at the changes we have been making over the last 12 months to improve I can see the benefit of that improvement coming through and we do listen to the needs of disabled passengers. But there are an iceberg Casimir need to set up the reduced mobility rights group after his son who suffers from servile pulls a regularly encounter problems was flying my son doesn't and cons of problems that are different from any other passenger with disabilities or with special needs. Sometimes you do have problems when you. Put in your information you know when you pray notify your needs with the airline and sometimes the information is not. Put through to the airports or the other parties involved in the in the waits received so maybe there is a misunderstanding there sometimes there are little delays with assistance where your arrive at the airport or when your have a destination and sometimes you don't get the assistance you asked for specifically if you travel with a wheelchair your personal wheelchair or device. Sometimes it's not returned at the gate but you it's sent to the luggage hall and therefore you have to make your way there with the assistance or yeah nothing out of the ordinary you say nothing out of the ordinary but there is issues on supposed to rise it's all you know you can imagine for example passengers losing their luggage on a regular basis that just wouldn't be acceptable given the amount of money we pay to go in planes and so on where what's going wrong where is the system failing Well you know the system is quite complex to be honest with you I've been involved with this for many years and I've tried to have a very sensible approach to it try to understand what the problems behind it. You take an airport like Heathrow you know there's 1300000 people with disabilities travelling to eat or every every year and that's a very large number of people so in the law of numbers it's inevitable that somebody is not going to have a pleasant journey just yet and that's not just persons with disabilities is anybody I personally have been to be on flights that regularly late delayed even though they should be only 15 percent of all flights should be delayed but that's not the point the point is that I think it's a cultural issue more than anything else if you think about prompt return of a wheelchair at the gate. A wheelchair is not a piece of equipment if somebody slacks and he should be seen by the people who were involved with the with returning that that wheelchair the gate as somebodies legs another piece of equipment and sometimes humanity gets lost in translation and this is why. There is a bit of a lack of empathy towards others and this is why things don't go right as a cultural issue. Is that culture any better in other countries is never destinations . I wouldn't say so actually I can tell you for my experience that for instance Japan in Japan they're working very very hard to prepare for the 2020 Paralympics they want to have the most accessible Paralympic Games of all times. But their biggest problem is to cut through the culture in the Far East this a bit the seeing it as a disgrace. As a stain on the pride of the family and it's something to height rather than you know consider us part of the you know normal part of the human landscape and so that's the biggest problem they have culture. And as far as this country is concerned is it the responsibility do you think of the and learns over the airports to make sure the things work for disabled people. It's a responsibility of the people that work for the Lions or the airports because airports or airlines you know they're not abstract Ciro they're organization that. Thrive in the work of people of thousands of people. You know again in my experience I'm in the advisory group of of the largest U.K. Airlines US disability visor group over there are just your care lines and we have worked very hard the last 6 years primarily was to build awareness inside the company to make this ability a normality make it understood when how no move sake where when do you think in terms of flying disability will become a no man and see to the extent of these problems would disappear or just a not an issue anymore it won't happen tomorrow but I think that if we continue to work at it you know with. With determination with passion passion but also with the certainty. That we need to accept this ability as as an integral part of the human landscape and therefore understand the needs of others may be 12 generations quite or 2 generations Casserly only those who set up the reduced mobility rights group this take a look now the stories making headlines in Brazil where authorities are facing global pressure to fund the killers of human rights activists Sam Kawhi is in San Paolo for us we talked about this story before about this human rights activists are you know. I don't think we have no we haven't. Yet we haven't actually. Maybe I'm thinking that because this because there's so many here is I mean Happens all the actually so many acts of this. 100. Years who is it this time and this so I'm sorry to interrupt you there this time it is my Franco who was a very popular much loved city councilwoman for Rio de Janeiro City and she was the 5th most votes in city council in 2016 she was a black woman a black bisexual woman from the for Vela complex in Rio de Janeiro which is the which they collection of 15 different Venice story basically shanty towns the people are not familiar so I'm just going to hold the thought for a 2nd I'll come back to you and apologies for interrupt to you this culture of the ages in the cricket from New Zealand Kevin House is there for us was happening every. Week it was full and already I'm afraid from England point of view just after a quarter of an hour of play and it's out of the wealthy overnight not out batsmen he's gone for $23.00 caught at 2nd slip Bottomley them off the bowling of Tim Southee back foot non-committed shot it flew out there to lay them 2nd steps already a breakthrough for New Zealand England desperate to hold on if they can but they've got a long long way to go another 92.4 overs to do so under 42 for their strokes on 6 pesto yet to get off the mark and they still trail by 227 Kerry thanks for emerge Sam apologise for job you just say that this activist Marian Franco She she lived in some of the for values you said yeah that's right so she was a very popular city councilwoman and social activist human rights activists she was from the moderate a ballot complex in Rio de Janeiro which is a collection about 15 for villas together population of about $150000.00 very poor dogs and I've been there several times myself. Completely under the control of like armed criminal groups but despite these difficulties that she had in life she really managed to rise up and you know became an elected official in a Sonora which is basically dominated unto this day in Brazil by a very rich white man and she was a huge opponents and activist against the violence in the embryos of others which is often caused by police and also you know conflicts between police and drug trafficking factions and she was assassinated Mariella Franco was assassinated about 10 days ago and the investigation is still ongoing she was approached in a in a car while she was being driven for an event about the empowerment of young black people in Rio de Janeiro and she was shot 4 times in the head while sitting in the passenger seat by a gunmen on motorcycles basically oil by a gun man on a motorcycle and yet the investigation is still ongoing but it's a huge huge story in Brazil right now we've seen process thousands of people taking to the streets tens of thousands take into the street over the last 10 days since. Social media absolutely blew up with the news you know the hash tag Matty end up as a she you know many many other is here also Anderson present she Anderson was a Dr of also lived in one of the fellows where he was very active in denouncing police violence the main lines of investigation at the moment Dotson are still remains unclear but one of the main lines of investigation it according to the prophet according to prosecutors is that it may have something to do with the militias of Rio de Janeiro which are basically on the organized criminal factions different from drug traffickers they don't tend to deal with in drug trafficking it's more extortion they're more like basically like a traditional Matthews' extortion. And you know charging residents the use of services that's one of the main lines of investigation at the moment it seems well absolutely Sussan the prosecutors are saying that she was killed with relation to her work denouncing the violence in Brazil and as a figure meant specifically in Rio de Janeiro's for as. I said and tell us about the Brazil will cope with Ron Jr was. When I was you know well why don't. You know score that wonderful go in the 2002 games in Glynn didn't he I was doing my English literature available at the time and missed it unfortunately or fortunately depending on the points of view there. Were No Geno has he's joined a an evangelical Christian political party in Brazil known as the Brazilian a Republican Party has about $22.00 seats in Congress it's probably about the 10th or 11th biggest party in the country there are 35 active parties who are together and he's just a little bit at all of those with his image just so because I don't know about you but I always remember the stories of what I was you know being a bit of a party boy you know taking flights you know off the games so far the European cities especially when he was playing for a from a land to go to parties go to nightclubs staying out drinking and stuff like this so it's really quite at odds with his with this new image or at least this new image that he's trying to trace of him being a member of this evangelical Christian party in Brazil you know this is a party which is connected to the Universal Kingdom of God Church is basically there on a political arm. This is a church which has around 8000000 members across the work across the world about 3000000 members in Brazil there were churches. Was that they were also sets off in Manchester in London across the U.K. But it's just really quite puzzling and nobody in the Brazilian media. Across Brazil has really worked out what's going on here he himself has been fairly silence on the issue he hasn't given any interviews recently he was also seen in science it with a few months ago with a a bucks an hour or who is a presidential candidate is very right wing but it's just very it's very at odds with Geno's image but he sickly now he's connected to this Christian party when in fact he has a reputation for being such a party boy himself in the past you know after the after the declaration after it was made when in a service in the capsule Brasilia you know almost instantly we started seeing you know pictures of him with like various different women except for circulating on social media so it's not one critic really quite knows what's going on there yet there is talk of him also possibly running for Congress but that's what room is phenomenal. Yeah I remember that movie they called it the bubble gum to remember when the bubble gum move. I've heard about which one was that were basically the ball was stuck to his feet I mean I'm should be illegal we should. Like you know it's like the Australian cricket is going to Leslie that. We showed him at the Brazils deeply unpopular president is going to run for another term you have a new love well this is it just sort of mean again nobody's quite got to the bottom of this the same with the run of genius story no one can quite you know the 2 things don't seem to match Michelle Turner is the most unpopular president in Brazil which recent history certainly the most popular since the return of democracy in 1901 after a military dictatorship his approval ratings literally are 4 percent right now to. Put this in the rhetoric. He couldn't get much lower than that county it's not really possible I mean they literally have beena. Polls that have come out which say that he has 0 percent approval among 18 to 24 year old. One point where you said 0 percent was because they were family you know surely prove who listen we're going to have to leave you then apologies are running out of time as want to make sure that we have enough time to speak to Carolyn Carolyn servant of the USA Today newspaper because the big story tonight Carolyn is about Stormy Daniels on 60 Minutes Hello Carol. Ha Ha Ha Well I'm stronger than you also whose real name is Stephanie Clifford is a woman claiming that she had a sexual affair with Donald Trump in 20062007 that she was paid 130000 dollars to sign a non-disclosure agreement and now she is suing to try to get out of that nondisclosure agreement and attorney and attorney for Trump is saying that she violated the agreement is threatening to go after her for $20000000.00 saying that at a $1000000.00 per she has violated the agreement 20 times so tonight she resigned C.B.S. Says he is anything 60 Minutes and it was you know quite the look forward to interview and I just put up a sidebar about the new thing that we learned tonight and probably the most shocking thing was the extent to which she was threatened as she claims to have been Tretton in a parking lot of Las Vegas in 2011 after she had sold her story to a magazine and she claims that a man approached her to threaten her in front of her baby and that she related quite a squire quite a scary incident do it to you know that post was he threats and. Now we're down and she doesn't know but she said she would recognize the person again right. Has it been the response from a White House an official called into salon you know the president flew back from our Londo in Florida tonight and despite reporters shouting questions he had nothing to say and strangely enough his that Twitter account has spent quiet tonight.
