That you wish had been on yesterday because yesterday was absolutely glorious to go to the beach for goodness sakes Well you go to the beach but you can get to the Save the Children on the way it's several miles away and why even if you go to live there them since they are black people you'll know what I'm talking about you get on the big guy right it's not a thing where you can sort of strip off the sea of swimming shorts and life run for the sake as you'll be running for a while you could still go and see my kids as a whole but nevertheless to talk about Manchester City's I got was more than the rest of the Premier League combined yesterday which is mad isn't it Thomas Cook having crisis talks with his biggest shareholder this morning as well and to feel free to get in touch one again so I had to clock out substories got to be like Labor talking about scrapping n.h.s. Prescription charges in England this morning and replacing off said Day 2 of the party conference and he's just absolutely completely enough Leigh dominated by all of this infighting caus for unity from the Deputy Leader Tom Watson who survived an attempt to remove him Cindy is a political reporter from the spectator day Monday morning thank you for getting up so early for us take this in as he might have been on the base like me yesterday or in the park or whatever it might have been just take his story where we are this morning after all of that business with Tom Watson on Friday evening and then kind of calm down by the later yesterday yes exactly Jamie Coogan put a stop to that most which Labor grandees said was going on here yesterday Coogan stopped it and said we'll have a review into the position of deputy leader because at the moment as a democratic wage house to me that is cheap so that review will happen at some point last night's funny enough John Lensman he had shake it Friday nights sort of who I suppose the head of momentum Yeah Yes exactly he called for unity he added. At Labor conference we're just in a could it ironic think of the day after you just tried to get rid of the the moderate Labor deputy leader today that will probably go on a little bit but I think today it will be overshadowed a bit by infighting about something else about Labor's Bracks obsession say you have yesterday Corben tapering Imation at a conference saying that we should not decide whether or not we'll get back remain or leave in a 2nd referendum until after the general election and now what his opponents as all of us support is to is to say Actually now you know what we should just come out and vote for him and campaign for remaining is like my friend and I was he decided that at this conference now said today that they both those measures are going head even though they contradictory say that will be a lot of infighting about that and you see a lot of coupons of course as themselves saying criticizing the leaders did the ring on the brakes a position which you know makes sense in some sort of ways but they're looking at pressure coming from the Lib Dems and saying we need to have a camera position all remain to you to think just going back to Tom Watson for a 2nd do you think we'll ever know whether Jeremy Coben was aware of what was about to happen I think it's as he has holiday without you know unless we have some leaks . Text of. Green light that what I think you know a or is conjecture is a likely that he didn't say given that he is leader of the party but then again Labor does work differently to other parties in that the relationship as with this unions is much more federal in a way you know it's a could it could be that momentum just sort of freelanced but it would be bizarre to be in the commons in there but then at the same Toby because I do think that Cuban just may let it go ahead. So it just seems like a weird thing to have happen that you know full conference Yes And and as you've rightly said it's kind of what everybody's talking about now is kind of fed into other negative stories about neighbor in the front page. At the newspapers today and we've got this man Angie Fisher most listeners might be familiar with but he's quit his labor head of policy it's a big job a major job in the Labor Party one of the top aides attacking the blizzard of lies and excuses in Corbin saying this is how it's reported this morning the lack of professionalism competence and human decency I no longer have faith we will succeed is the quote against him I mean that's called to be seen as a blog absolutely Demming and you fish it was very respected within you know a group and he said Who is he is a Cuban he's themselves he can't even say this is a moderate out to get coop and you know it's not cry like the moderate m.p.c. Left earlier this year and your vision is a belief and he was key to Labor's 2017 electoral success not necessarily getting majority but they increased the base because of a really radical ad persuasive manifesting now he said that he will stay on for any or Tamil action and say maybe if that all goes well he might still stay on to it if Cuban If a Number 10 but this the resignation letter is absolutely damning and a lot of people are seeing it as a veiled threat. Criticism of Seamus Milne couldn't stop advise and stand up and this idea of a class war that she has known is so obsessed with having come from Winchester Knox that. Just said you know wasn't conducive to good morale boosting environment in the in the leadership office Ok Cindy Thanks thanks very much they appreciate you get up for us on the Sunday when we had America yeah sorry we do that's a lot of people thank you very much did they Cindy is a political reporter from the spectator we are going to speak to the Shadow Cabinet a little bit later on down card and who's the shadow international development secretary so to speak to him about all of this about what's going on in his party it's 10 minutes past. Yeah. You want to. Temperatures in East ensconced in down to freezing well here will see some sunshine but the chalice moving their way across the Scottish Borders and western Scotland into the morning and the afternoon Sunday. Highs of 18 or 19 degrees thank you very much. Says of what weekends and holidays for the last 20 years extra money love the job so I guess I'm $1.00 of the lucky ones. In Seaside says I work in the power industry refurbishing the overhead power lines throughout the county working weekends is the norm for usually working one weekend every couple of weeks this requirement is more often than not driven by the live trees it's operates on having short work windows where we simply need to work weekends to get the job done . We want to say. Thank you very much and it. Says annoyingly predictable does somebody say thing oh my sleeping in the same phone to you great questions this morning how to lie to attack. Much of the fact that I have more. Patience big decisions in life. If you want to join a cross the u.k. This is b.b.c. The to say I think that worked as a course it was because you know I love your ties to me anyway but a bit of ice how it started at 6 o'clock on Sunday workers of the 80 you say that was is tenuous it's tenuous and they're from Manchester they offer that it's all works you know it already said it was until later Katie My goodness we've worked on less. So it's extraordinary finals in a team. And it could have been more and so City scored 5 in the 1st 80 minutes that's the phone any team of reach 5 goals in Premier League history but I know Silva scored his 1st match to city hattrick and well well for players looked absolutely shell shocked I mean the back pages showing picture Will Hughes in the Sunday Telegraph with his head in his hands over just celebrating the background goalkeeper Ben Foster said they were woeful but city were breathtaking and they were they really were dicing guys yeah I was it was stunning stunning performance and you know I could Miss May compared to last weekend when we were going. Yeah I mean Alan Scherr even said what would found she get a refund for that performance to pull what would a less talk about v.a.r. Cause a surge a or air goal ruled out when Spurs were leading I want to lose 21 to Leicester City the guy was offside if you can call it that of a side as people entered saying he's an eyelash was offside and that is funny it raises some marginal I think this is where v.a.r. Is so painful at times because it is subjective but we've also got to mention. The James Thompson when I was a goal absolute bullet in the bottom corner that's not what people are talking about now about the v.a. All which is which is a shame under scrutiny once again but it was so marginal and it just does come down to the smallest of knowledge and lives by the v.a. All dogs are the valve doesn't exactly relish the tongue but the sentences Crites I would say I am in the cities where this Jesus bus or how do you feel about that. Sometimes it's hard to so-called because obviously it can go for you whether follows plenty of times the last season this time of Hans and yesterday it was just like we watched all the replays on the tele and it was like How could they tell from that particular angle that he was definitely a 100 contempt fan offside it was minimal and it was if it was his arm he cared to go without it was all clear and obvious from where we were stopped so how could people in a room know that culture Oh yeah that's outside your mind man you know go on go on the point is that you know. He's got to pay the 110000 that guy in the street is a 100 and consensual that he's definitely offside that was so clear we we were all just sat there thinking to. Get goals for you goals against civil. Everybody's annoyed with. The get which is federal case why it was ever going to leave the turning point of the game was an enema. Yes I think it was it was a game changer book like Same goes for you sometimes it goes Genscher am I a front of a red light to the think. I've never been to from I think it's going to kill the game quite a lot well it takes 3 minutes to get to that decision to not. Take a long flight when the show the replays. On the k.v.a. So why can't a break in. These guys it takes a long time the man come at the gate goes you have to stop again and get it is just too long for my liking and the Katie so Gary Lineker tweeted yesterday saying that . He could just touch on that is sucking the life out of the game would you agree with that. I would yeah it just it's just a crush Gratian I think because we we can see like different angles when you watch 3 guys on the t.v. They just seem to be able to see this one and go if they're what the other side of the page would you have been able to they don't was offside I don't think evolved I've been one of these the i.r. Workshops and they do have loads of incredible cameras and it is quite incredible watching what watch he goes on but by suppose yeah from a fan's perspective it is just quite frustrating really yes. Good having you on the program thanks very much indeed a damn about a lot next time and I'll take. It away all day as he had. Been he was on the floor with the new Yes it was amazing they managed this is they all go down for penalties and I said you have to still say. Nice. Trippin over and still try to hold your point but you managed to do it. Applause a lot. Of it is 6. 22. I mean I'm a little. Because he called me. Pete Dominick you know b.b.c. Does your I'm. 29. You find life and find life support sex drive. With the Rugby Union we keep costs down low down on the b.b.c. Sound. Board that Kong is good yeah you can use of the I'm getting used they should they should they should start pulling gongs and more internationalised. Just pointed ever since the right man no longer. This isn't as big a gong as. I was. Trying to get my G.'s and base model up there right Australia for back to base Fiji 3921 New Zealand South Africa 2313 yesterday that was something I yeah it was was a day because the South Africans were up for it wasn't it but there we are today England before the play Scotland 5. O'clock so we're heading off a little bit earlier than normal Our chief sports writer Tom Fordyce is there in Japan how it's. Question The best thing about being in Japan so far has been that no one has talked to me about they are one. And you see the decision yesterday. Because it so happened in our night time zone the hours times you sort of wake up having had these weird fractured dreams about what the scores might have been he wake up and see the score say I need to find it and it's funny because think because the guy. I love the gong Yeah they got the gong at the end of the Australia Fiji game yesterday it was really Pavlovian the gong sounded and it's like everyone's head there they go just really fancy a pin. And once truth is this they. Have a bell for the next round of complex music Exactly yeah the All Blacks were good Well the yeah you know there was a lot of talk over here in Japan blacks who of course of won the last 2 World Cups at them the crown might be slipping they might be vulnerable and for the 1st 1890 minutes against the Springboks it looks a little bit that way the Springboks had a really intense day they played a very Springbok style I suppose you could expect that but big fast powerful nasty and then suddenly bang bang bang the All Blacks just turned it on and all those all those questions about their form and their ability said Listen to this pay you know we've talked about it over here this morning after breakfast they have a lunch and suddenly the All Blacks' once again everyone's favorite to win this trophy Yeah I kind of felt that was always the way it was getting in the back of your mind the you know it's hardly the world's greatest surprise this is a really no it's not you know and they have fully deserved to win the last 2 World Cups quite of changes to their squads before they came over here they suffered a record breaking loss to Australia in Perth they then put 14 tries on tongue ahead in one place and a couple of hours time so yeah I think you would be fit at this stage at least you would be foolish to behave hence Yeah right a loss about England hungered a 2nd Scotland Ireland should be interesting should know I mean in your gut what do you think about Scotland's chances because they did do it didn't they couple of years ago 2017 but everything went right and it was that early start wasn't you know just kind of shaking the Irish early on I suppose that's what they need to try and do again list on. Scotland are the great mavericks of this World Cup you can you can sort of expect certain things from England Ireland Pena's Scotland can be outrageously good as they were in the 2nd half against England at Twickenham in the 6 Nations when they had been 31 points down and briefly led 3831 before England scrambled a last minute try they can be outrageous or it can all fall apart now as the great fascination with this match Ireland has got this really strange record at World Cups they've probably been the dominant team in northern hemisphere rugby over the past 56 years they've beaten the All Blacks twice World Cups they've never made it past the quarter finals they're the only northern hemisphere team if we discount Italy who have the perennial struggle is the only one of the big boys in the northern hemisphere never to have made and a year ago this time of year ago they beat the All Blacks in Dublin everyone was thinking right give it a year they're going to be even better and instead it's been a joke often form 3 key players for them Johnny Sexton at 10 Khana Murray at 9 and Laurie best at hooker they kept it all freedoms hotel Mick went on and play well all thread I'm going through a slightly unfamiliar stretch of form and that's the worry for a while and that's the way trial and the other thing is whoever wins this group let's let's assume for now that the islands and Scotland come 1st and 2nd in that group which you'd assume they will in the quarter finals they will play the winners and scrutinise group will play the runners up in the All Blacks Springboks screen and vice versa so it's much more much news really you probably rather play the Springboks but there isn't a great deal between Mr really horrible draw for those 2 things and finally as for England he's gone for youth the camera cars the twins Tom Curry and so Underhill why are they being described as the. Partly because of the position they play is that you know if you play on if you play the flank you are doing lots of tackling you then as a ball carrier you are basically that Tom and a big last songs play very physical style of rugby so you are on the frontline there if you are Tom Curry or Sam under Also the term of got this relish for that sort of stuff they quite young Tom Curry is $21.00 Sam Underhill is $23.00 they aren't particularly tall for rugby players they are about 6 foot but they're almost square they're the sort of players who say that there is no tapering from head into shoulder the neck is exactly the same exact and same if any is downwards there is no thank you so so they will absolutely relish this physical challenge and you know Eddie Jones loves working with young players and that's partly because if you're a little bit longer in the tooth you might challenge him you might challenge some of his methods he doesn't particularly like that if you're young and impressionable and you're prepared to run hard all day every chance loves you is that good understatement of the ball of the Tongan so big lads. What are you going to do and you'll be watching one of those are going to be there oh yes we're going to we're going to say after the Sapporo the image that wonderful stately who he's so much about I think describing it and I think this really undersells it I've been describing it as a giant silvery slug but it is a lovely setting within itself there in about half an hour's time going to try and catch the Ireland Scotland game beforehand and then. It's time for good stuff lovely thank you very much today Tom We'll speak to you again before too long a search chief sports writer Tom Ford us at the Rugby World Cup And we've got commentary of all of those matches on 5 Live Today we're bring you up to speed as to what Premier League commentaries we've got a little bit later on today are you working this weekend 8558 This one says out for a run before work work every Sunday as I manage a bad form so I supply the fresh approaches tried God It is a great one with this kid. It says Steve from 5 dome says of what we can bank holidays for the last 20 plus years but I love the job so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones the reason we're talking about it this weekend is because there's a lot of talk about Wilco and asked to stuff. Their playing industrial action because there's been a change to their rights which means some of them are going to work more weekends and you've got as Dolphin happy with new contracts which mean that they might need to a bank holidays so working weekends pretty standard in retail hospitality or hostility is Terry Wogan was famously emergency services health and social care or as we have found out if you're a fix you have had balance as well yes grim and nice lacing Well maybe it really suits you because you love your job maybe you don't have young children whatever whatever a days you might really enjoy not having that rush hour commute taking time off during the week when everybody else is something blissful about lies that have risen to this this is Mark he works as a prison officer. Every other weekend a Monday and Tuesday an hour shift. Today Sunday. And Monday and Tuesday can have a problem when we call Sorry Dunning. There's no extra pay for work and we can do is just part of our contract. To young children are still Law Commission now quite a margin come on the father is hard. On. Them either. Such an interesting one because he's clearly working a lot of weekends but then there's the we call thing Gary Cole sais t.m.b. National thanks so much for being with us Garry welcome to working on a Sunday morning that's another afternoon. Of the you do that. Thanks very often very Are you getting paid for this Gary reported. On nowhere in the debate is the standard industrial whitish. Variant of treatment for. Snow we seeing a move towards weekend working being standard is funny meetings were predicting this one Sunday openings dulcet. Us Yes I think that we have saved you know more 24 out of 24 of the 27 or 24 hours 7 day a call them a think of that as that as oversleeping growing it's become more normalized to work weekends I think the difficult way that I think we have Wilco in particular is that the the the what has that happened previously what we can say understand that there's a need for a weekend with him but it's the amount of weekends that the having to work which is the real problem and the now lack of time to get in to spend with the family I think we will need to see a gradual change in the. Brightest of input in a group so everybody is working. On a warning to weekends and some people are working every Saturday so it's the amount of weekends the lack of time with the family which is really really upset people and we're going into the boys to base a Christmas pick on paper to send with tired and you know when I say in a families and in the past the reason that we've got to where we are with will cause and you know we just which form a company to sort of listen and to to do something for pay before so when he says he's doing everything possible that they've recruited 300 people into mom's life that she developed moved in a 100 different confessions many of them with ideas already from team members to try and accommodate everybody is non of but will show you a new man goes well you know the blue is on the ground and we've you know we've we've spoke to this company about this and said that we've gone in on weekends and they've told us we can go oh man title as a whole we've been sweeping up and not doing and not doing notice so you know that's what really really gets the painful waves. Isn't their own scheme why we and the company say more we're not going to change the right answers until January and you know frankly paper would have done 10 months of arrived just by that is just no good enough for Gary we just haven't done enough just in the wider picture and as you say we are in the run up to Christmas and we all expect don't weigh as customers 7 days a week now. Look you know we understand there is more or we can work it but I think the issue is is about you know there needs to be a well life balance for people and oh so what we save when the normalize ation of weekends is companies of take the opportunity. For. People working weekends you know there will be people who say well I don't mind working weekends if I may. Have actually or Bagster freshly coming in but we've saying you know what I was right so right it I think also people and can I say to. Somebody I'm often in the way but I don't child care is but I have she calls to pay place in a safe you get a few days off during their wake if you've got young chill with us because I'm going off on weekends for 10 years and 5 live their own you know I get the presidency a breakfast program from 6 to 9 in the morning isn't quite the same as in a. Working in a hotel all day and all I was a whatever my baby but it does it does mean it frees me up for a bit more childhood during the week so it can sometimes work you know. I think people do value that sometimes I think sometimes the problem is the. Rest I don't get 3 red states together which you know can cause problems and people aren't necessarily like I think it's coming to a balance. Balance way of working for what I think. If you haven't worked weekends and then you're expected to work weekends got a 4 point you go to a job that needs to be longer you're late in time if there's if they're going to dinner at all in the consultation Gary we've got to leave it there but it's lovely to talk to you and much appreciate you get now is a carry Gotha part of the weekend working club g.m.b. And Iran supports x. Right now this country of it's Leap The Namibia it's currently 7 all now what for goalkeeper Ben Foster minutes there he feared a cricket score as they were 5 nil down at months just to see inside the 1st 18 minutes they conceded another 3 a city ran riot to become only the 17 to win a top front game by an 8 goal margin in the modern era but City boss Pep Guardiola says this wasn't about proving a point after their surprise defeat an origin last weekend people must understand that we can lose games so there is who pays for the pundits former football players still don't understand that we have to go for ourself who still desire to win to try to go the lesser stages of the season to try to win the titles. Radio 5 Live available on the b.b.c. Sound some breakfast we've got a feel for anybody who is just about to head off on a Thomas Cook holiday a bit of uncertainty to say the very least they're in Krause's tubes with their biggest shareholder this morning they need 200000000 pounds in extra funds or they may well fall into administration within days people staying at a hotel in Tunisia by Thomas Cook They want allowed to leave until that was paid until the holiday was paid off Ron Foma with from less shares staying at. Beach Resort us in Hammamet and spoke to Steve not on last month. It was pushed. Over saying they're concerned that. They're just being told. I any case that's already paid for with Thomas Cook I mean it's almost correct that we have players with more than how to try to sort things out for us. So things out with her example that that you're still interested. From what we can gather resources there with the idea that the owners with the coach of the staff silo don't let anybody out don't let any coaches and untrue telling celeb I are you are are you currently you're currently in the hotel is not correct yes currently no it's are you able to leave the hotel not how do you know because we've been up to the guy and the actual security guards on the guy's holding the guy's kludged and they were not allowing anybody salacious. How do you feel about Bob. And. It's frustrating for the people who are actually trying to get around trying to get on. And scary I mean obviously you know being on late in the cell and change day so I mean it's a little bit different for us we're just concerned is going to be are we going to get out and all we can relate to the hundreds what the actual situation is really for the rest of us right and have you been asked for money. And now you know yeah. So when you walk up to the good what do they say 80 that insanity said that you stand out in the guy there was a gentleman from New Orleans talking trying to talk to the security guards inside law you know we want to go in we want to go I. You know and I just look at a glass or just think it's out the Coke I'd show him I can no comments it's so Simon Calder the travel journalist with The Independent said that one holiday maker one gas of the hotel described it as a kinda being held hostage Yeah yeah because we can't we can't leave town. How would you describe. Galaxy discover exactly the signs when out offstage we can't leave the hotel. They're stopping us from late in the hundreds. Or even turned off for probably around an hour that's in the war fly off so we could not we can create the kind I want to your children come home and to stay Ryan Yeah. If they ask you for money in order to let your I will even today I'm not going to try and I've already tried it from it's almost cocoa not going to give me many fish I want to well this is were later allowed to leave reportedly without having to hand over any more money Thomas Cook says it's sending gets to reps to the hotel courier 600000 Thomas Cook customers on holiday 150-002-1600 extension 00 of them are British and there are some people that are geo out due to fly out today including Lauren Fraser she's booked on a holiday to Turkey saving with her boyfriend or and thank you very much for being with us this morning what's happened with your holiday just the same as everyone else for a sort of terror and then you find out so what's going on and it's all to a day to week I do not I mean I've been advised by a holiday people to carry on as normal guy you know we don't know where you get we're going to be allowed. Even if we can't get on the fly fly or if we're even going to get high. If we don't really resolve our money and presumably Eve Eve spank quite a bit on the east sounds pretty upset Lauren and thank you so much for talking to us about it I understand it probably is quiet as you've been in a bad accident recently haven't you. Had a bit of a bad way. This holiday was definitely coming out right time. And this is the 1st time that you and your boyfriend have been on holiday together it is. Definitely looking forward to oh oh yes Siteman Scott you know how can you now look forward to something when you don't know what's going on I guess if you did go you'd probably be constantly checking your news and checking out to see if anything a change with Thomas Cook Look we need to speak to your holiday operator about it do they remind you that you're protected under the at all the Grail Yeah I mean I keep saying oh say we're protected under law and of say I'm quite happy I did pay for my holiday on credit cards protected well. It's. I mean in some ways she kind of hyped the unary sounds so of in some ways I don't know if I'm just sort of hype in before my flight just say so wrong all of days can get you money back or not but something. If we don't guy and has same for us to carry on we're going to lose our money and I just don't have that disposed going just to chuck away and say we're in Maine so it would at least you're guaranteed a date rather than back that Tenchi have a disastrous holiday or or or whatever else. Would you think you can attain a minivan I did was because you probably it would probably be not sleeping very much last night worrying about where you're going to day. Living at the save. Of spike and a lot of people go in and we've just said. We've got a risk because of dying we're donc our money back the end Janiero if worse comes to worse we have to get enough time so. You know you've got insurance has enough. Coverage although it's going to be a. Well I was Kuwait day I mean we might get out there and it might be I caddy but you know you might have a pretty good times when he doesn't. Use. The frustration isn't it and the lack of Yeah well I wish you all the very best of luck I really hope it was out here and that you have end up having a brilliant time thanks Laura and I call her Hi Thank you for getting up until can to me this morning Lauren fries but it's almost always cook holiday leave in the saving would you Guy Well I mean you a spot always when when you go on holiday you just you don't want anything to not have to think about not enough points even when you get out there and so you sort of go we've got to hire a car and so your I don't have the hassle Alright Alright let's do it you know what anything there so to have that lurking in the background I probably still got to pay for it you know and hope it works out again and that's how is that everybody at the moment I guess but you're going to get it's 651 they're. Going to. Tell me about the little compared. To see coming. Pete Dominick you know b.b.c. That's your prime time to get. 29 every game you find and find life sports extra. With the Rugby Union we keep costs down like now on b.b.c. Sound. It was a cracking day yes that I got more to say obviously 11 50 am we're going to bring your anger in versus Tanga live on 5 law I've Christians progress in a Matt Dawson the same following that one but before that it's an absolute strong and Scotland live commentary from 845 we'll have the build up from 8 o'clock. With Sonja McLaughlin So lots to look forward to this morning. And we can talk to a couple of guests who know some of the players in the Scotland same anyway particularly well Allie Donaldson is director of rugby at George Watson's college in Edinburgh and taught the captain Stuart McAnally a good morning good morning thanks for joining us and Chris job is a p one is high school in Sterling where the magic man himself in Russell when I load Chris good morning folks how are you a very very very very well you must be looking forward to this actually what's it like Chris to to watch Finn when he's playing knowing him as you did when he was just a boy. Am i think this is going to see affectively is about a local he took anything a name is very very unassuming So when he comes back to Sterling and his hometown of bridge of on which is just along the road he's a great role model for every community and a we have so many people to look at kids who look up to him and aspire to be something like him so that you have someone that's home grown on our doorstep who likes to come back and you see it just walking around the streets day to day sometimes when he is home visiting friends and family that you know we stalk me so often friendly and polite does touch the kids it's no good to see him playing and at the top level how do you see the children respond say comes in on a Tuesday you know see some of the kids or whatever how do they respond on a Wednesday when it comes to rugby. It's almost like someone it makes out a whole new fire and the kids it says a huge big energy boost it's a huge break in themes as a boost for boys and girls want to pick up the ball and just continues enthusiasm and can our enjoyment of playing the game in itself kind of thing what you regularly but having someone like him it just takes that next level is something that despite all your your efforts you can do as a person to encourage people to take the ball and play when someone like fun comes and it's just something else about it it's that kind of magic truck that x. Factor that he can brings in his personality so infectious that people just want to play already like that it lights a fire under them that's excellent. Tell us about the young Stewart McAnally When did you 1st notice someone you know with the quality he's got now the leadership qualities and all of that what age were you able to turn around to colleagues other people around you and say this kid to pick a Disney. Yeah I mean sure came terrace crew for sure we're a primary and secondary school together. And in the 1st year of school he was actually in the c. Team for rugby. Because a lot of a lot of the boys had been playing for 2 or 3 years and he was new to the game. We knew he was going to come good eventually so and for shooters in the sea team by the time you go into 3rd year just 2 years later he was captain of the team and. The qualities he's got nowhere beginning. It really was a natural leader even in those the so it only played rugby for 2 or 3 years and he was Captain already. Usually we are stablish with and his peers went on to become captain the 1st 15 and head boy of the school also Wow Ok so definitely does have qualities all the way through. Yet with and again it must be so. You must be so full of pride when you see him playing for the country how much. It's a fair question how much credit to both of you you know we did. Yeah it's a bit of the old Donaldson magic. Has got over God that is Allie you know not looking east or does a lot for the school comes by. He gives private charity fund raising event for a charity in South Africa he gives prizes for we had a boy book is like a couple weeks ago he did a video message for the boy he comes and watches some of the matches and speaks to everybody he's a really humble man. You know we're very proud that he was associated with the school and he still comes back in there's a lot from us this is brilliant as he is great to hear from both of you on that point it really is it's great the picture you're painting of them there must be something you can tell us that they might not want you to tell us is there I mean is it is there anything more embarrassing Chris that you can tell us about Finn Russell about his time at school and when you move your hands together there must be some leg up. I can't really think of anything easy him what you see and the kind of media where he's very happy go lucky and when he's played a really great game a kind of come off and he does about the canvas and Russell shuffle Yeah and it's very infectious he's kind of very sick full of energy it's really positive scare we have that. Chopped and I think you know I mean but nonetheless that's kind of what you expect just because his personality and a lovely young man who just kind of went to the school and your struggle to find a teacher anyone and not much will have about what to say about me such a lovely young man when it comes back at the local community not only into our secular schools high school and to local promiscuity Israel is such a fantastic person wants to come back and just give back to the communities came I don't expect today as much again starting to go to the y. . Yes they can be this opening group game in my opinion you know you've got to go play a base of minutes and Ireland will not want to go quietly so I think you'll be a burial site for a few moments Ali how you feel in. Yeah I mean cautiously optimistic I suppose hopefully school can get the game going the way they warn we're a team pulling the game is a good book don't buy sit peace hopefully the weather will hold up as well could be a big factor as Luis Scola cleavers Yeah I'm praying for rain lads but anyway. How will it work it I mean if Scotland do well I suppose they'll start just developing a real kind of fever around it where they were there with the boys and the girls as you say. The school where you get them together to be able to watch any of these games do you think. Yeah I think that they were the ones that are on but weak on a school day will certainly try and set something up to watch them and obviously school are going well will be you know people people will actually push through during the school the but I know there's a lot of excitement around around the world cup and rooting for to see them go to the yeah and the most important question I suppose Chris is the tickets he's got to . Have. Is. There is actually money yeah I think it does when he gets any kind of freebies investment pieces they can pass back on to skill is always always 1st and foremost going to get back in status came back in and get passed on things like their orbits the canvas and to season where I've been very fortunate when you clinically ask we're going to take the 10 and play the I don't really feel just real them is that we've made a point like before I'd like him to come across in the kids and take some pictures not graphs and stuff so and he wants to send me some take I would love that like like.
