Will be back again next week never miss an episode of The East takeover download the B.B.C. Sounds out to the east also take over subscribe. Try. Say. There's no right. To be. A friend. That. Was the. View. Was that was that. This is the east. On B.B.C. Radio said Hi this is the J G I'm here with the East OP to take over I'm here with 2 fabulous filmmakers you might not know them who they are yet but in the future you will know who they are and they are right. And then make Now you 2 have been working in the movie business for a little while you've done some training in the stuff about what's happening with you now gone. so we started to company about 3 years ago and it was always kind of argo a to use that to fund feature films in the future so for the past 3 years we've been kind of making corporate videos not and now we're actually at the stage where we can fund office film which is what we're doing your so the to tell me about this the this feature it with major feature film you're doing all tell me bit more about it yaz been quite it quite a journey quite learning curve so far has an a you know we we've done quite few short firms in the past and the next at was obviously going into feature films and we wanted to sort of reflects how hollywood is portrayed in the media i think look i let so so that so what is this film about with the the gives the tight all i think it's at let live a synopsis of of what the film is actually go or over about so it's caught the great sure art and it's essentially a kidnapping film sat on a backdrop of kind of how the hollywood's portrayed in the media so you've got the 2 most famous actors in the world who've been kidnapped by that fans at like kind of left at the mercy of the people who are door them the most and that's actually very dangerous in terrifying situation for them That sounds kind of scary is it is it meant to be a scary movie or. What what genre would you put that kind of movie into I think. Definitely sort of like a psychological thriller when we sent the script over to one of the actresses Francesca there was white she got back to us loving the script and she said it was a cross between La La Land and Silence Of The Lambs who that's the. That is that is an interesting concept. And insults of the of those that's interested. So there is this feature film where it's going to be actually made in the U.K. Oxford anywhere outside of the U.K. Where it's going to be made so refuting in Oxfordshire we're going to see a location right after this Actually I'm missing and I want to Friday so we're still rocking a few different locations but we know it's going to be oxygen based you know that there's not many feature films which have been optioned basi you've had films which have had Oxford in it like Harry Potter. The. Mission Impossible they've all been had opted featured it but not a whole film Yeah this one it will be found in Oxfordshire sat in America and then. So this similar sort of thing yeah Scott but then it but it's not in America OK So so are you still looking for crew looking for people to help out and stuff like that I think we pretty much got all the crew Yeah I think we're still sort of our current now we're just doing some crowd funding for their production stages Yeah but I think everything's pretty much set to go for the huge number so if you want to have heard this as well you know I want to be involved in this this next project and you know I want to invest in his next project and search so how do they do that. We've set up a web page for the film on our website so that's roadie X. Dot com and there's a link on there for the great Sharod just at the top and we've also set up a page on Indie Go Go which is why we're doing the crowdfunding So all of the information is available on those 2 sites. There's a number of different perks available so if you donate a certain amount you get certain things like a shout out in the behind the scenes video or some concept. On set as well as a good one thank you very much celebrating East with your stories and presented by you this is the take over on B.B.C. Radio. Thanks David. Like to share with you a conversation I had on my show this week about celebrating more religious holidays and peace debated this week whether the Muslim festivals of Eat Eat. On the Hindu festival of should be made bank holidays we asked these people in Cali what they thought of the idea I don't think we should have any more. And then we have to. I think we do have a lot but I think they should be. The. Next one person. Maybe. In spring and summer so you know. And then if you go. Join me this morning. From Oxford's Hindu community. Is Here To start with your free my written is this a good idea it is I think it sounds like a great idea because the holidays I'm so to be really appreciate. By lots of people who work really hard and also because it's a great way of acknowledging the important place of different faith communities you know a wider society here in Oxford here in Britain tell me. This is a good idea for both of us at C.N.N. Yes Why do you think we need these national holidays these would be an important step towards promoting understanding and tolerance between faiths I would think so and decide respect off identity recognition in the society that these festivals do mean something to our communities what about the idea that we should perhaps have got to have these are 2 extra holidays one not holidays for all religions in this country whether you're celebrating the more more rather at the moment that's the case isn't it because quite a few of our bank holidays aren't tied to a religious festival at all the couple are ones that link to Christian festivals at Christmas and Easter but we have 2 in May 1 in August and the New Year holiday in January which don't have a particular religious connection so yeah I wouldn't have a problem with recognising other important significant things in our social community so should we all have a day off for father her or young Kapoor or Jewish holiday would be very happy to consider it I think as I said before people were really really hard in our country and the statutory holidays if they can be respected for everybody give people an important break in the rhythm of a very busy the trouble is that people would everybody would take a day off and it would have nothing to do for the vast majority of people with religion would it with the greatest respect to all of your religions if we would just end up would end up at the Westgate center most people when they would just be turned into an option to go shopping from us there's no no I don't know as it is with Christmas No I don't think that's the case because there at Christmas there are still people working there are still doctors in hospitals the nurses thorough. With these devalued holidays which is just one or 2 days I think just the one for the start. i'm sure that they would be planed to people who actually don't believe in that will be happy to work yes miss i mean if it is a national holiday am or old taking a national i we would take a die off as a bank holiday we'd end up going shopping with that's route the reality would fit with christmas isn't it wreford for the vast majority of us now it's not a chance to to worship jesus crisis a consumer 1st of all that's not the purpose a bank holiday use it through worship it's through lagging up a significance of a festival or an event you know on our national life but i think the main benefit is giving people a break in there working routine so if everyone brushing to the shops us not great for people working shocked i agree with that and maybe we should be thinking about how people car actually observe the whole a dry and have a rest what about terms you have sympathies for employer super just hanging their heads with with side ia how on earth do you run a business if you got to have yet another holiday when employ is also can use that discretion their non non hindus are non believers self the festival it can you can work so that they could work on to discretionary basis and who are both ways people who don't want to take a holiday ken who are kind people who need to spent time with their family can't take a day off so i think at the moment easter holidays to a people to work on easter holidays so it would work the same beef with the walia and to or other how long i'm how likely is is to happen do thing not now very like you night euro likely i do you know you said about that it's all about shopping everything i think in deval even the case of deval e.a. It's a day where a lot of families do get together if they can do it in the week day fits you know we dan can't have the day off they will celebrate the at the weekend annie is a very religious spaced thing at the for those who are religious if it was a national holiday and of all in the rest of us were that talk of off the asked is she was liane but that's this what i say every white thank you very much for coming this for a thank you reverend dr martin wellings her On B.B.C.
