Who can we get you a punch in the studio and say you know somewhere around there how you been I mean it's been what's it been about a month or so month and a bit now yeah last fight month and a bit of been spent a lot more time and you know have to go away to train and it's been good thing good catch everyone been down the game a lot more and because of my friends and family it's been nice me back home and now back in the say To be honest what's it like being the European champion is why you're not shiny new don't know yeah I mean his just to be so leather Malak to me and it needed to why and how could I have a file mean I never said a voice said that you know it's nice to have when it's nice for the fans to take photos of which is a piece 11 uninsured many more Hope Solo Colombian a pro box around an all around bad mama jama Lee is a forest fan and I'm sure took plenty of pleasure in this oh was given away by Gabi knew its gravity was the was that she was he said the she was the sound so he was like some of these seem like the easier it gets up was how the norms. It happens because there's 7 of the season and the 11 minutes into the 2nd are already hard near their sin deed and that was the way that it ended as well the Reds beating Darby for the 2nd time this season at the City Ground Lee you were there what did you make here it was a great day has always been dull there twice when here oh Phil is a 3rd time but yeah grab and get him off a chance and take it. Great goal in a tiny little gap and you could be many more in the 2nd of a thought we could have gotten of the 2 more with a very unfortunately anymore well deserved when Gray my cash was season Yzerman as well yeah I just missed excited to see what the rest of season got and that's all for us some minutes past 6 the Commonwealth and European champion leeward with us this evening in the studio a man who is also feared across the land a man who's also got a mean right hold on him is Jake No excuse me calling phrase here deceiving your your reds commentator significantly over 9 stone at the moment you know what would you do. Away division calling for a woman that well we won't go into those tickets I don't know what you will call in the game. You always love a forest one against us RB You want to make it was good fun I thought it was deserved for a start I know that you might be hearing from other quarters that maybe it wasn't quarters or. They might be along the a $52.00 somewhere and I thought it was deserved I thought I thought the 1st half was very even very tight. And really either side could have missed the 1st half neither side did so it needed one of the teams to really step up in the 2nd half and and that's what forest did they just went up a couple of gamers and for the 1st 10 minutes they absolutely battered Darby for the 1st 10 minutes of the 2nd half and there was very little rest bite for Darby and it kind of culminated in that era from from Jason Bogle You can't really say it was a forced error. No So pressure whatsoever but in terms of the pressure that had been building up you kind of you know you can never legislate for that happening at that level it should never happen and that level but certainly the way forest it started the 2nd half they deserve something from it. And then as they always say and it's it is so important and I know it's a cliche but in the Championship you absolutely have to you've got to take a chance and score when you're on top in the game and if you don't you'll be punished for it later and forest did and from that moment they looked they really comfortable and I Darby through pretty much everything out them for the last 5 minutes but how tested was was really in goal not very so were so thoroughly deserved when I think the Reds a 5th in a table at the moment what do you make of their start the season and a great start are so few games I think is after international break so hopefully we don't do that again I think that old saying of a manager the moment. You know that jinx hopefully not if you're not I mean I think we have beat most a big teams going into the. They're there this season so yeah just keep keep the form of the dog out the way home got that way coming up as well but I think that's what your problem Fred is just it just the lower teams that are fighting to stay or what to be careful because they're the ones who really need them points in the concert which off thinking they're bought and by Dave I'm sure we won't want to talk to you both about an event that you were last night everybody knows forest have got big plans for a stadium the City Ground is going to be redeveloped next summer that's the plan anyway building works going to take the best part of a couple years or so is going to mean a big shiny and relatively new stadium in some parts for the Reds to play in and and last night the Powers That Be were at the club and veiling some of the plans there were loads of big wigs there as a say yourself Lee would you have one of them another one calling Frey who spoke to Joel Ellis pro in the original plans and stuff of change a little bit from 8 months ago when the 1st yeah they look really impressive and from the catering to the capacity. To the whole outlook of softball it was really cool and what about actual facilities inside the stand that you know you hear talk about you know warm up there is inside your step side the dressing rooms and stuff like that how important is that to the players of today. Are the top teams of those and if we're going to be serious about getting into the Premier League I'm pushing on as a football club really the facilities to back up the money been spent on players and stuff so I think it goes hand in the. Warm up areas the facilities for the players themselves in sawed in the dungeons of the new standards what many fans won't be able to say definitely have a positive impact on the pitch for the players and this as far as you know the redevelopment of the City Ground generally you're a forest fire you've been coming to this place either as a player or as a fan for years and years how important was it do you think to stay here and redevelop. Yeah definitely as home is a rather sad about moving closer. But it's such a good little ecosystem around the water bridge for the area the pubs. The travel people here really and it's home it's next to the beautiful Trent Bridge I'm all about the bridge and the cricket ground the river and you know it's just it's home and it's something the thankfully were able to develop and plan the permissions allowed to stay here and some of this football club. Belongs I. Think it's beautiful when it's done and nice to play in front of when it yeah it taste. Something you want to do you look effects of the start the season the look at the stadiums with the with the capacities you rode in on a 1000 and stuff and they'll be some of them is. That we've got there are there are . Going into the next couple of seasons that for 36000 which is fantastic and look great as well for from the perch which is which is about us. But now because I'm really looking forward to it as the forest defender Joe wore all there on the new plans for the City Ground You will hear more on these plans in the next few minutes from calling Frey and from Leawood as well I know who's got his eyes set on fighting for a world title and more importantly winning a world title there one day. With me yeah I am one northbound still lying close due to broken vehicle from 20 knowing a bowl so over to 34 works up traffic is coping well of mine certainly looking better than yesterday with the surface water in a huge and causing some slow traffic although it is looking a little return every around in the other 2 lanes the a 52 Radcliffe way west baronies closed due to flood. Expected to reopen at some point tonight from the a 46 to be a 60 to one against him roundabouts been causing some issues on diversion routes going for be a 6097 and there was an earlier accident around going for bridge to laze remain towards Goss dimple could. So the moment Plumtree as well the a 606 Milton Road still fairly busy it's just possible at the moment but we did have some flowing there between Browns Lane a plum tree and stone stood over me for toilets and we've seen some heavy traffic there all day as a result trains are on the move again with some delays and cancellations Cross Country nice middlings between Darby and knocking him about flooding yes very After a long week in the trams can't see any problems there at the moment that she is traffic in trouble on b.b.c. Radio Nottingham. Terrace. Is plenty happening in the traffic can travel other seems like war and peace let's go back to the at the stadium Plaza listening to the terrace on b.b.c. Radio Nasim on your Friday evening in the studio with me Commonwealth and European featherweight champion leave the word big forest fan not singing through and through Panthers. Not in a market square Christmas light switch on you name it the words all over and call in for a they they're not even Forest commentator both of you are at the unveiling the evening for V.I.P.'s and other buds you managed to sneak in a call at the City Ground last night all about the planned redevelopment of the city around what it what did you learn last night what did we learn Well I think that the main thing to take out of it was the speed with which the whole thing is going to be completed that was that was the number that really caught my attention last night from the beginning of demolition to completion of the nice. Dand originally when they launched their initial plans back in February they were expecting it to take 2 years. They've now got that down to 15 months and not only that but within the band of somewhere between 3 and 5 months they reckon they can get maybe $5000.00 of the singers in the new Stan edition of vailable straight away really so within that sort of time frame you're looking at the the newsstand is going to hold 10000 which is 5000 more than the current one does so their plan their hope is to get those 5000 seats effectively in the new stand back in as quickly as possible therefore the capacity is only reduced by a few 1000 for maybe a few weeks from the start of next season and then they can start getting the them selves back up to 30000 and then on to 35 when it will be finished and by the end of the next season presumably that will mean less disruption for those season ticket holders in particular who have had those seats for a very very long time and don't want to move Well that's that's the idea I think is that you know that there is going to be some disruption there clearly is because even if and and what's not yet known is is the actual start date because that's going to be kind of dictated to really by the next stages of the planning process the public consultation is happening today and tomorrow that's the next stage and that's what last night's event was all about going to launch the public consultation if you like after that and and when they they have assessed any objections and try to mitigate any objections that may throw themselves up over these couple of days then they can actually get on with putting in the final planning application which they want to get nailed down and right 1st time if they cam so that it's not then thrown out and you get further delays so ideally they'd want to go with with an application that considers everything and gets and that gets put through 1st time. They expect the committee to make probably early in the New Year. So that ideally they could start at the end of this season but it's not known yet you know exactly when they can start that would be the ideal hope start at the end of this season so. They might need to sitting around for a playoff game yet you know that might might delay a little bit so let's say mid May In an ideal world even if you're looking at 3 to 5 months before some of those seats are available within the new stand you're still going to be some distance into the following season so. I think there is going to be disruption for those people who currently got seeds in in the tieless now but the idea is the hope is from the club that that disruption will be minimal and they can get them back into that side of the ground if that's where they want to be fairly soon so I mean it's an extraordinary thing to think that a project that big can be done from start to finish from demolition of the old one to absolute completion of 810000 seat new standard and some of the facilities inside it the plans look amazing. To get all that done in 15 months would just be extraordinary Yeah absolutely thank you very much Tom often call later on in the world from or from afar as fans perspective and hopefully one day somebody will get to fight there what was the thing that most excited you everything excited me about it he said It's unbelievable the going to get all squashed down into 15 months and that's down to the plan in the detail of planning that went into it they're going into the resources and not thought about quiting costs of going into local businesses local suppliers helping businesses and gain local workers and not thought about getting the stadium in as cheap as saving money as much as possible help in helping this is well. Yeah and 6 and 6 we're big club as the others may disagree but we are a big club and it's going to help is look like a big club to look at a lot more professional the whole the whole stadium can have a better revolve around the edges in the stands running. Stand By Me is a lot a lot more rational she Commonwealth and European champion Leewood on the terrace the c.b. I want to talk about a little what happened with England earlier this week the week started with a bump as the b.b.c. Sr 40 report in Dennis explained there is a mark on the face of Joe Gomez So it's safe to deduce it was a physical confrontation which is why the f.a. Issued a statement last night saying Sterling will not be considered for selection against Montenegro and Sterling himself issued a statement admitting that emotions got the better of him and your interest in start to the week there was a game obviously the England went on to win about a bazillion to know last night and that was of course their 1000th game as well there were boos for Gomes though as it was he came on which was bizarre even to Stirling himself as Gomez did absolutely nothing wrong earlier this week their manager Gareth Southgate spoke about the whole thing really like a family and all families have disagreements and the most important thing for any family is that you communicate through those disagreements and you work through them we are in a school where emotions often run high beam in this post last night explained that for a very brief moment his emotions run over and these things happen in football these things happen in football that will do they what I want to talk about really other dynamics in changing rooms and the overall team environment and to do so I've got 4 minutes play a month filled manager and terrorists favorite Paul Cox on the phone Cox e. Good evening thank you for being with us the save link you can see it all part of game 8. Yeah I think eventually you look at the dynamics of any dressing room. And you've got different personalities especially when you look at the England dressing room you've got players now they're competing for for money prizes at the top of the Premiership Europe when the pulled together you've got a hell of a lot of winners and strong personalities in one dressing room so yeah I think this is Paul the dynamics of the kids if any of any you know sporting dressing room I think you'll get disagreements going to arguments and sometimes it's on you know you could have a few a few scraps would you surprise then in the way that it was highlighted in the 1st place if this is commonplace and happens all the Simon in the game well I think 1st and foremost Gareth would have been so disappointed of you know it being sold leaked to the press the sort of you know I've been down St Georges a number of times. You know they've paid to security and. They close everything off to the England squad and I think I think as a manager a probably felt a little bit disappointed that you know something that will happen I think quite regularly. Has been leaked out and I'm sort of jumped upon by everybody and probably blown out of all proportion which you know we've seen so comments from from Sterling and he's apologized she's usually pretty spent I think it's very very I think now we just need to quickly move on from it publishers and. It's going to happen it's going to happen in the future. You know it's just something that I think now we just need to you know to forget and to move on from come on unless the lead don't name names so you can if you want to but also a clash is did you have in your day or did you see in changing rooms when I was a player or a manager. I don't know if you can remember going but there was a big article in the I think The Sun newspaper. Perkovic on horses and I could relate to. You know most weeks in training that there was something that would. It was something that would that would happen I'm not saying it was full on farce put. You know as a money and as a squad you know you want to train as you play and I'm about doesn't mean going around hitting people and kicking people but you want to be competitive and you only day to day basis you know these things blow over you know it is again built around emotion Charlie's in it and you know it's different personalities different characters in the dressing room and it's usually when 2 strong characters come together the you know he goes over the top but yet it happened I would say once a month you know I was a player. So you know somebody was involved and you need a strong chuckle. Or you know. Where the you know to like to be pushing each other and as a manager especially my tot mom still had a lot of. I lot of personalities that were both of the stronger side and you know they they didn't suffer fools gladly in training you were calling your weight training then and then people knew about it so. Yeah it's just you know the sport environment it's good how can it it's emotional business. You know it just happens to Ollie it's you know how did you manage it when we are we talking full blown fisticuffs and flying head butts head on and if so how do you how did you manage them when you were when you were in charge at Mountfield what happens Marty where managed it was it didn't go in the book straightaway right from the players and obviously come it comes with players to. Use it months or what it was to give each other a hug. And we do something silly like that and just a good song for the rest of the you know to the group to how did you know Joe down there I'm sure the song went down very very well indeed but how did the suggestion the request that they help each other go down well it was either that Charlie or you know you could be fired weeks or 2 weeks wages so it was probably look very easy to convince a boy. You know to do the as I would think that the think based around team spirit you know. Players know it was especially in the in the pressure cooker coming around the bend after Christmas and and having to having to perform week in week out to you know to some of these players are playing for contracts every year now you know some of the play players in the lower divisions so there's a you know a lot of them a plane in that's all pressure cooker. And especially after Christmas you would get that. Intensity in mindset and intensity in training that it just bubbled over but you know when would you take the you know the sting out of everything and karma to close down maybe you know usually players look at yours as well as you so much to make it happen so for on a night out sometimes Charlie it out I'm trying to think of a situation where it went on and on and on I can't for that to lie to me as a player also as a manager money to a group. Pick one out where it's you know it it grew I made became a problem interesting stuff for Cox down the line for me about 2 or 3 minutes if you can because I want to talk about Notts County in a moment but back to fighting it seems like we can't go past this subject whilst we've got a professional boxer in the studio and another dress is one obviously Boxing is an individual sport but you do training gyms where you'll train with a team of other fighters you go on your runs together your do all your finishes strength and conditioning and ultimately you'll get in the ring and not 10 Belles are very charming How does it work there does everyone is a little bit too much ink it's in across the board you know what it is attitudes and egos I think the last one is. In a boxing gym if you've got a problem someone or there's a problem with people there's a ring right there to say he don't really get much trouble you always offer offloading steam in a boxing gym you know Dana and yet really got a lot of it should not be left to be wasted and serve maybe these 4 wanted to do a bit more work now disagreements and that can happen and it's very rare I mean I've been in a boxing gym since I was 12 years old I mean one occasion I've seen something happen or what end. Com don't name names I can't mention any names but something happened a few punches before and so on put on someone a few points and for a number from black and then a cold sweat and then they got grabbed and for an hour there they got over it but yeah that's one occasion in what I've been in a gym me 1520 years I guess though you jump in the ring sometimes in his preparation for a fight you do sparring sometimes technical sparring where you're trying to work on individual things specific things does it ever get a bit tetchy there where you get such carried away because you you shouldn't really be going to hell for leather there but sometimes it can go that way can it to be honest would I do all my technical work on pads and do bodies boy and sometimes obviously pointis slip or catch in the face and say Right what. I don't get people to 3 chances and techno points in there for no one so I get 3 I'm going to throw one back to the right there's one but every one I get now after this point I'll get one back and say they don't seem to can come any more this is because you want to sort of. But yeah and spoil me if. If we spoil him spoil anything goes anyway so yeah we did it and up and down up and Roscoe to know that means I can punch you twice you know going to be back until the 3rd time I've still got my 2 lifelines available to me at the time is getting away from us it's just after a perception listen to b.b.c. Radio knowing of. Your news headlines this evening a 55 year old man has been jailed for a year for making a death threat against the Nottinghamshire m.p. On a Super 8 members of the University and College Union have reached an agreement over pay with Nottingham College and breaks it Party leader Nigel Farage has been on the campaign trail in Eastwood today saying they'd invest in health and social care if they win the general election. Well worth mentioning again a number roads are closed about flooding we saw yesterday things are getting better but still some issues the 850 to Radcliffe road westbound closed due to flooding from the a 46 the Gamst in roundabout we do hear a bit likely to be reopened sometime this evening not sure exactly when and it's been causing some slow traffic in the loud I'm being I'm going to Austin and area the gun thought Perry of the 86097 good thought Bridget Trent Lane still looking a very slow as a diversion route when there was an earlier accident 2 vehicles involved long since been cleared but still causing some issues with some slow traffic Carol in the a 617 both directions closed due to flooding from brought great lane to be a 46 for the cattle market roundabout and still some issues in the Newark and Rockford area the trains are getting back to some normality now or beat with Virgin lays on a few cancellations he says between Nottingham and Darby on East Midlands Trains and cross-country The trams doing fine at the moment that she latest traffic in travel on b.b.c. Radio Nottingham. D.c. Radio and Aussie. Now welcome back to the terrace on radio not singing we've still got the Commonwealth and European featherweight champion Li wood with us this evening in the studio in the city center and calling for a year Reds come and say it will be back to join us very shortly the former months fill manager for player Paul Cox is still on the line and you'll hear from him again in a moment as we build up to another busy weekend of sports in action I don't know why but I know its gravity was . Was there comes a ball in the near post here to post here is so you don't want to get it yes see I was very lucky to have all went up and then he turned up as a kid I absolutely love she will win this game by 3 goals sure to was here goes the opening of the top 2 was so huge and also down the line to see how much to go it's all the culture wars of us all Jacob Ellis to stay what I was about so. Well I'll be updates hopefully on the stags course field so morrow back into football or not against our old and i Pods preparations this week were interrupted by the constant rain which is mounted to near largely explains is in contrast to the start of season funny because when we were at the university early in the season move across and up some rain because there was no war there and the pitches were dry and since we've moved over the road and the pitches on the story it's not stopped and hasn't caught you any has already feels like it's rain for months now but has it cause hassle with any preparation no the To be fair on the ground stuff we worked hard on the pitches over there and although they've been heavy regularly it's been we've been out get some training sessions on even if we've had to adapt some of it just want to reflect on last weekend how impressive was the comeback win in a way obviously when it looked like you were going to have to go away with a draw it shows that this side has got real character don't you think yeah I thought 1st thought 1520 we got things wrong just didn't you know to set up that they had it's hard sometimes particular know we know the shape of the opposition and Neferet it's hard to predict how they're going to set up against us but once we mastered that thoughtless or 2nd 25 of the 1st half we would have a team and then a thought for probably for half an hour 25 minutes to half an hour in a 2nd for Rex and when we went to. We went out we could have gone 31 maybe 41 and then they have that that little 5 minute spell where they hit the post and Sam spoke in America the great so I just changed 2 or 3 for free and we we just spent 510 minutes trying to cope with it and then we thought we'd say now rest gives you know what I can only say is a very dubious soft penalty because having watched the turn Alexander Arnold one on Sunday how they say that's not compared to ours I don't know but great character and it's not one we're talking about with with any bitterness now that is near loudly here Notts County manager Paul Cox thank you very much for weigh in there on the line on the phone this evening what have you thought of not spare starts of the season they seem to have picked up quite nicely over the last couple of months or so yeah I did just could see Charlie there developing a really nice consistency of a minute. You know some of the places especially going away from some really tough area you know places that. Get out some really good results at the minute picking up that little bit of form just as we come into the Christmas period which I think . Have they got enough about them I guess in the way of depth the fact that they've been able to make 1617 signings or whatever is to be considered as their own and perhaps should be winning this league or at least challenging. Yes absolutely I think 1st and foremost when you talk about Notts County being in the conference. You know they have to be talked about every year that they're in it to to you know to be you know talk to us champions. You know the club really shouldn't be that level of football and but they all and like I say I think that I say that just picking up that little bit now and looking looking like it seems that. Just don't know how to they are very good at knowing how to win but they're also going places and that's a not losing games and that's really that's really important at this stage of the season to go to some of these took away grounds in the conference and to sometimes grind out point or 3 and if I could ask you what was the most key thing in you winning the conference with nuns feel back in 2013 and then compare it to what nots have got going for them at the moment do you think they have in their arsenal. Yeah absolutely. I think it'll be interesting when the pitch is changed so I think that's you know our starting Nazrul will go to places after Christmas and be used during installing to really want even a championship as a club going on the beam lot but when I think you have to adapt to. The scene where you can just look up to Charlie remember going down to Braintree. About 3 games before before going to the season and they just want a speck of dust on the pitch they were just stunned. On even some that are. Taken also take into account the surroundings a lot about what's fair and these are all the psychological effects. And hurdles that they'll have to get over. You know if they want to talk about the season just off thanks very much Cox appreciate you joining us on the terrace this save listening is leeward Now let's talk about the future for you and a little bit about your dreams of of fighting one day at the City Ground we know much forest means to you what would fighting them means here. Is the that is the do not just fight there but to win there. In a in a packed stadium Valma locals you know bring the bring the younger talent from the sale and a few personally that are coming through prospects broad doors one of them going to champion a question because of a lot going for it's good to see for a change and you know a big block that will really bring them through as well and. Get a good win to again if not keep some big fights going to the arena and keep the talent coming through because when I'm gone you know in a 56 years I want to be more champions not just one trying to get this hot spot I want 3 trying to get defendable Italy in and I've box in here every month over the month and it's important for these big bills to up and to keep the keep the rich box in front. Vibing I've seen you go out on the pitch a few times at the sit around with your shiny belts what you called them what rubber and rubber metal or something like that. How do you have you seen your kind of base go up over the last year or so with those high profile wins that you can get in yeah I mean force it on a great job get me out on the pitch implement social media and really raise my profile and get my name out there so thank you to them and punters as well you guys at b.b.c. Not Stevie sky sports boxing news you know they do a great job in helping me out raise my profile and I do their comeback as well you know I'm always trying for young women awfully. Young ones as well ones that are active. But some great relationships. With the staff and I talked to a few of the plays now as well so yeah you know I'm thankful for from the do for me in really do appreciate just a little bit more now on the redevelopment of the City Ground and calling for a has been speaking to the former Red Captain Chris Cowen it's incredible you know and. I think that the chairman when he spoke a minute ago spoke about it said the most important word often coffee or the moment for most people feel is hope I don't think there's always been that. Over the last 15 to 20 years and I think the fans always add you know real hope of Premier League football real hope of a new stand new stadium we spoke about a lot of times and apparently been close but it really feels this time this is the real deal and to be fair to the owners completely changed the off the field stuff in terms of social media in terms of connectivity with the fans and this is the next stage for them in their development and they're putting the money where their mouth is which is she saying there's been a pretty quiet over the last 15 years at times money has been put in but where it's been spent maybe in the right areas if feels like it's been spent in the right places now you're right when you talk about maybe fall storms in terms of the redevelopment of the city ground with his home. We over the years that you've been involved you know there might be moving here they're already where now they're going to stay here at the city and it does as you sort of touched on there it kind of feels real this time whereas before it never seemed to get this close exec that even just you know even slots and nights watching this. On a screen a final a flip is a problem for a show is closer than we've ever been before but you can tell in the way they speak they got good night and people in a little bit from just me and him over the last couple of years from the noise really Dasent man massive forest fan as well which it which is a lovely thing for him and his company to build in a stadium and I think crucial that we stayed near the trend you know to stay where we are think it is iconic I don't think you have many iconic foot was the idea and left compared to what I was maybe 1520 years ago because of finances and because of the nature of modernization but you look if you can modernize if you can modernize Plus it works out financially for you than and Esther dream ticket really and I think that's what we've got here and hopefully this is as I said the start of the start of great things on and off the field. Should be interesting times then over the coming months and couple years as well as Forest look to redevelop the City Ground stadium couple more minutes left with with nothing in box Lee would leave the last time we saw you in action you will win the European title down at the very famous your call in Bethnal Green nobody gave you a chance really certainly of knocking the guy out they always say you've got no power you've won every single one of your title fights by stoppage not Next is the semifinal which is going to be either February or March time what are you expecting of all out and expecting to win I want to win this call and go on a contract on an I got a lot of plans for myself I'm not going to head to myself I know it's going to take a lot of work which one point in already ready for preparation for March I want to start my pretty calm you know to get super fit so my average level of fitness isn't far off what they. Approach that's all week 11 for fire get super fit in body fat percentage. Is very low our staff to me way scarier. Yeah I mean I get myself in great condition always of and like to say I'm a non-point and fellow but not 11 of my style fights has gone the distance I think it's a bit of a character assassination of the know what to say about me so that it's mixed. This this might be to my my peril but if I put my hand out would you just give it a quick shot just a quick shot so I can I can feel the power it's probably not going to radio but if I put my hand here Oh Lord look how many times do I do that or hit by a big club who. Just won the Golden contract tournament itself is it was there was a there are now 4 fighters at the end of it if you win the entire thing you're basically guaranteed a world title shot you will also break I would imagine by that time a British champion as well because you get to. The British current British titleholder which is Rome Walsh fingers crossed and you'll also get 4 or 5 fight deal hundreds run by I dunno I'm off about the money for me. But yeah I got this for was left 3 including myself I've got some more fights in the Ryan Walsh is a trick if I beam every day though my eyes I have to say is tricky fight British champion reigning British champion Thank you God 67 defenses but. Yeah it's not an easy fight i.b.m. I.b.m. There the it's very tricky just picking the South Pole quite sure i b m b m as well and they were full as an Irish guitar McCulloch is not really a feather weight to be honest but can't overlook him I think is he's tall and wired is not for the way it's over if I can get through these next 2 fights which I intend doing in my set my sights on a world title shot after this tournament within 6 months so this one is going to finish in about just under a year so I've done the number crunching I went to went on the ground last night for the new plans for the new stand and I was poking around prodded around talking to a few people over there and 15 months from when it gets started Subban look at is going to contract when it finishes. After 5 a final eliminate all which I could squeeze in there as well so timing wise for me to get down that sick man on the pitch and fill the arena could all line up everything cross I need tonight I've got my job to do in March 1st then in May June Yeah you could line up could line up perfect last hopes of Lee thanks so much for joining us this evening of course as always we will keep your crossly words progress all across b.b.c. Radio Nasim It's just after quarter past 7 or 47. Yes I'm into the evening I'm not looking around the Nottingham city center is still a little bit busy on Bryan Cluff well. She can imagine just the volume of traffic really we have had some issues with the flooding the a 52 Radcliffe road westbound remains closed due to flooding from the a 46 to the Gunston roundabout. Expected to reopen this evening not sure when but at the moment to remains closed we're told that House Call some issues on the surrounding routes including the gun for bridge where there was an accident early still looking a little bit busy around there and in the area excuse me but it's not looking as bad as earlier the a 617 and Kellen closed from lane to be a 46 for the cattle market road car cattle market roundabout for Newark and again the traffic eating just a little bit now the m one southbound and northbound this broken down vehicles causing issues from 29 to junction 30 and junction 28 so between 28 and 30 northbound all southbound you may find a little bit of slow traffic but she later is traffic in trouble on b.b.c. Radio Nottingham. Forest. And that is every road covered there on the traffic and travel on b.b.c. Radio now and you can't say we're not Thora Chevys on the way after 7 o'clock this evening good evening what have you got coming up good evening very hard to follow us a very a lot of our lives are saying that because chip is back I did say that's going to be finished yet so we've got lots going on Friday nights a little bit different on Friday nights b.b.c. Radio and I'm obviously it's that we can vibe so I got free night and locals call in we're going to tackle topics put the world to rights we're going to talk an escape. Stolen ice cream kids' cartoon theme songs you know what I got one year old song on the. Girl Oh here you go. We're going to listen to the best bits of the week or so. Children's in these as well you know talk about puts you know that and also the best bits of the week I was a Paralympian on the show yesterday talking to him as well so plenty going on and also Billy I was Eilish has dropped a new truck so make sure you tune in for that well after 7 o'clock lovely stuff thank you very much much appreciated we look forward to that he's got you from 7 o'clock on b.b.c. Radio not singing Jay Garner is in the studio with us now we we need to get to the bottom of whether or not months field are going to have a game some or a Jake your supposed to be going to Michael's field but the macros field players what they don't want to play because they've not been paid and that seems fair enough I guess but what's the latest It's pretty difficult said the moment because Michael's filled up really given us a lot of information but what we do know is that it's not looking great for the game tomorrow Michael Phil's players refused to train today and refused to play tomorrow as well if they haven't received their wages by earlier today 6 pm was the was the deadline from what we know we've received receive them yet so we're still waiting on confirmation on the struggle through the way by fielding new players in the f.a. Cup game against Stoney in which they say lost for no one was followed by a 31 defeat to Shrewsbury in the f.l. Trophy and so early this week the players were advised not to play because they weren't insured and so wages they took 2 weeks to come in or there were 2 weeks late rather in September and after employees thought the club they were forced to appeal against English Football League to help in October's wages were also delayed prompting plain stuff to withdraw from from training in fixtures which leaves in the Situation Room today and the football leave also charge Michael's children this conduct after the failed to pay the players on time and at the moment when stunned only 3 players have been paid so it's just a really bizarre situation and we're only well less than 24 hours away from from kick off and we don't know if there's going to be a game or not Crikey Jake you're a star is the travel guy a few moments ago would all of the road is there is all of this going to affect preparation for Nance field going into the game because for me I think it probably would be in the back my mind going to wonder if I could get a weekend holy. Yeah I mean especially given the way Kony said that the main focus has been on themselves and getting their own form rightly months would have been pretty good away from home but the home form has been not not as good this season so they've been so focusing on themselves but I think you're right it's going to affect the players in training in the play stuff as well because that they'll have no idea who's going to play in more you know the field fielded 3 different teams I was in the field of the youth team on the Saturday in the in the f.a. Cup They fielded a sort of a mix in the in the n.f.l. Trophy so how can the players but they don't know who's going to be marking the don't know what lineup Michaels they're going to play with and how they gonna play well formation going to play the ball when other anyway but they'll probably have a good idea but obviously in this case it's very difficult to predict and so how can you train not knowing what was going to happen there was the Burton victory in the way they won 3 of their last 4 out of stocks and I don't know for me from the outside looking in it looks like things have turned a corner yeah yeah I think so I mean they had to win on Tuesday night to progress into the next round of the n.f.l. Trophy of the draw for that is on Saturday conveniently at 2 o'clock just before the do we do the team news probably still earlier that we're nice to made a changes and they still put in a very very good squad against a good performance as well against a very good Burton lineup yet they are plenty of good quality championship and League One players in there in the likes of probably less Nick Danny Rose Jacob malice see how much you know getting back in and getting back in form as well with a couple of youngsters thrown in who are also impressed things are looking good for John Dempster because he's got a good plethora of players to choose from he's going to have all those managerial headaches that managers love to have because he's not entirely sure who's going to play where you know he's got a lot of good sense midfielders Now a lot of to Smith unwilling Tomlinson very impressive in the in the games that we've seen him so looking at that based on the performance of say in the side looking looking pretty good but only time will tell thing the main problem is has been the home form because of the point home in fact the been better away from home than they have a film which is very rough much feel. Because last season it was a bit of a fortress worse the season it's not so much stocks made changes for that midweek game in the a.f.l. Trophy I will not give it a sponsor name but still they came away with a 21 victory from that game against the League One club and obviously something that really pleased their assistant manager league level and that's a very big positive on what went on we looked at steamship before the game they had some of the players out there been playing regular in League One this season so that's a moving factor for the lads as well to see what they're like and you know in the contest individually against them players will have to come away and you know put out a few chances but we had some good chances as well maybe to put the game beyond them and individually have some really good performances where there's a change is that the squad was a very good squad that John put out and how good is that no one spot make an advantage is still got plenty of players chomping at the bit for a place on Saturday I think is great strength and I think when the these players will be playing over you know what over the period of the next few months over Christmas and the way they're shaping up particularly the younger lads you think you know that's what we want to see they've got a good future in the game think it work and in learning and the strengths the strengths is there you know so. The people in the team need to know that we've got people on the bench and the gaffer has pointed out to them if you don't do your job people can come in and among the players that played on Tuesday night 2 of them Danny Rose and Bobby Lashley how encouraging is it tough those 2 back in the fright down he's been great for us all season and we went through in the great finish chip the keeper got caught in 2 minds talking to him afterwards for the one on one in the 2nd half is a great play to have around the bowden these positive good energy he's a low maintenance player what she like comes in gets on with he's a very good player in the building actually so we were happy that he's back available nicely Glover He's the assistant manager at Mansfield Town who hopes to have a game against Michael Steele tomorrow Jake anymore no at the moment Ok never mind well well well find. Maybe help us 12 o'clock tomorrow I don't know just keep an eye on the Twitter at b.b.c. R.N.'s in the meantime we will update you on there as and when we can so no Forest this weekend match day though is still with you from 130 on b.b.c. Radio not singing Robin Chipperfield is back for commentary of not against borrow a Live from Meadow Lane and they'll be updates on the stags against mcas field maybe that will also keep the across the other sporting events taking place across the county in the country I mean modernizing in punters are in your very nice for some playing in the Continental Cup that is the the tournament the competition that they made history in winning back in 2017 they became the 1st British side in ice hockey to win a European competition earlier on today they won for 2 against French side and Youngs got the dummy ons to give them the full name with a little bit of poor open and see a shot and some are they going to face home Garion club Ferencz virus which no idea with that one they're also playing on Sunday against volitions it's busier week and then for the punters with 3 in 3 days but they've got off to a good start in rugby not see them take on Bedford on Sunday and there is more international football as Engle and face Kossovo that on Sunday they are likely to have the 1st goalkeeper our own you're rich in goal which brings me back to the main us man Collin froze back in the studio the place to be. Cole It's an international break they go into it in decent form yet again the last time there was an international break which doesn't seem that long ago we were wondering whether or not it would affect the momentum of things you have the same concerns this time around well I think they I think the one thing that you can say well one of the things you can say that sadly the movie is that he learns from mistakes and I think having seen them start up again so sluggishly a month or so ago after the last international break I can't see that happening again they they really didn't play. At Wigan that all those team changes and then didn't play well until the team had gone back into its sort of normal formation for the last half an hour I think I think they'll have learnt from that. I think it was crucial for them that they did get back on track with a win at Luton and then beating Darby So it's a really good way to go into an international break by beating Darby had they lost that game then it's a horrible 2 weeks and it's a really you're waiting a long time to get it out your system as it is they've got some momentum and and it is interesting that they they seem to have gone back into training a little bit earlier in this fortnight than they did in the last international break so maybe they you know maybe that is learning a lesson from from the way they started again last time Bristol City away q.p.r. Away though the 1st 2 games back off the other side Roger what sort of prospect will they be well I mean it's tough and then that it follows up with Cardiff at home so I mean in those 3 games in the space of 8 days it's a tough return and that is that's the problem with the championship is in the 2 weeks off and then suddenly you've got to go into that real real thick of games again so that's what they felt they were faced with last time they had a game Sunday then they had a game midweek this time it's Saturday midweek then the following Saturday they're just going to do better than they did last time yes indeed Well Khalid Enjoy your weekend off we will be back match day with you on b.b.c. Radio not again from 130 some morrow afternoon for commentary knots again Spyro Jake any update yet so Staggs against nothing yet never mind Well look as I say we'll be back with you tomorrow afternoon on radio not c.m.
