Love to you daddy's dead and their route what it meant to them a lot yeah yeah I think be honest with you I think my DOT didn't really understand it well didn't he want you to be an accountant and get a proper job he didn't want me to be an accountant it was more my choice to have a backup plan when it came to getting into an industry like broadcasting so the accountancy thing sort of came from May but then it just didn't feel right so I went to university to see if there was anything else that I enjoyed as much as presented in acting and I wasn and so that's why I rejected that job in accountancy and it's literally it was like retail to radio because I then worked in retail for 6 months trying to farm my feet and find out how to get into the industry and then found out about the open auditions what was then on top the day before and it literally went from retail to radio there was no dropping a career guaranteed really like accountancy Yeah it is but you know if something doesn't feel right then just don't do it and it can be. Don't get me wrong it was really daunting because I didn't have a plan. But I knew that if I wanted to get back into accountancy or wanted to go into any of those industries that. When I was a university than a code and I set that foundation to be able to do that so you just have to have a sense of self belief and sometimes you've just got to go with that instincts and thank thank goodness I did you know has it been them this last year bonkers ridiculous incredible it was funny because in my final interview for the job I was asked where do you see yourself in 12 months time and I've never had an open to that point I hadn't thought about where I could potentially be in 12 months time and in the actual interview I got really emotional I started crying I'm really good at crying anyway. And now I'm looking back just in the 12 months on and. It's changed my life entirely is all I can say and there's things that have happened that I didn't expect to happen whether that be working in radio whether it be doing shows for the stations even shows different shows on B.B.C. Radio knotting in which has been an incredible experience and B.B.C. Radio knowing it has given me so many opportunities and that's one. Of the direct address to medical research. Interaction we had with the local public and stakeholders in the town so when we 1st looked at what we needed to do we got a team of people together local stakeholders undisclosed what we were needing to do and whilst people might think that we had quite an impact on the town when we 1st put our plans together we were looking at 18 months worth of road closures in and around the bog Castle North Korea area of Newark and from discussions with Lycos who actually took them to create a sudden saying weeks where we want system in the town so we see that stakeholder engagement understanding the problems of the town that we actually changed our plans and I think it's things like that that we've been recognized for it's pretty quite something how did you get from 18 months of road closures to start with David using it to see if 17 weeks of just a one my system but we did it by increasing the amount to tooling we were doing or in the town and changing the time to all that we were doing so we actually built a tool which was bigger than what we really needed but by using the different tunneling technique we were able to go to one end of the term to deal that without really needing much impact to surface it's like Cross right now.
