You look a little bit more from a county. On him in South. The but. It's a song on a budget and he's on right back it's return of the mike from Mount Morris on b.b.c. Radio time to the chat room talk of making Hawkins's a I love talking as he was well. It's already started I had some kind of just going to get a safe bet that we could help us. Just flat out you know the 2nd thing how did you 2 met each other before we put you know right now we probably wouldn't have made that we have it and I don't mean to come across each other it's very good yet another little funny thing I want people to lie about. Me and we need to talk about. Your day but it's probably going to get to you because quite honestly but do you still not very often have long conversations about base kids have had lawyers to blog conversations since just. Because a lot. Honest opinion the custard cream yeah is the champion of basically all of you. Yeah well that's contact me. It's the fact that it's actually 2 biscuits Yes sandwich together with lovely stuff that you can dip it yeah yeah you can take it apart if you want to lick the dough Yeah yeah it's a versatile biscuit the 2nd only the bulb on yes the off on they're always law is so many the locks are custard cream or what I call the bison I was going to for the simple reason that. 2 biscuits sandwich with beauty Yes exactly also more could you want the Figaro. Undresses I love I think are you going to stop us yeah I always found 4 bottles were addressed to me yet you know since I've had this lot of literally become obsessed with this ever since I had Paxton I used to like the not to feed him not get horrendously hungry and I don't know we just must have bullhorns in the house this time an awful lot just happened by Scott took him up to bed and ended up in our packet at like 4 am you can see I mean it was just really detailed and then I actually I ended up putting something on my Instagram and it just blew up after almost like I'm not but it's not what I was a little not gonna love oh no not really no I think I grew up believing that they were in short supply because. It's a bit like when the ice cream places jingle they know your ice cream it was a pretty day. I honestly did because whenever you get them in a variety pack them always lower numbers are broken or broke right and wrong compass can still play with breakable but yet they never seem to be there never see to be in abundance but I love that I can buy as many Baldwins because you're an adult you know all over actually consider doing a little competition you know like going and going around all the shops because they're different in every shop as well you know the types different circles to go into each supermarket buy in them and then maybe like I could do like a piece on it and then get them right to be an influence or football bonus Yes Any help with that I mean like you say. Because this is going to set me message. Frankly because it's not really a coffee morning day. And there's a thing doing the rounds about the top to bottom tier of cake Ok so here we go the soggy bottom 10 they're saying is. Rusbridger cake scolding the cake I don't know why this is. Parent ginger cake rocky road how is rocky road on the bottom Teja. You talk to is living there so yeah top ones red velvet. And I reset exactly right Victoria sponge Ok with. Names like call in the caterpillar it's like. I would have said it was traditional because it doesn't deserve to be on the legend. This is a thing cheesecake Oh yeah I'm looking. Like now. I just know that there is the whole is a good thing and yes they produce John when next place the fish and chip shop on the front it's a story about this and I wanted to so you know it is a versatile thing but I don't know frankly not when something like Black Forest got toes not that Nah I think even like sticky top few put it exposed to. All that I think that still knowing better than like even a lemon cheesecake I'm not sure I think it's quite sick kind of just not sure I know it's got cake in the title and I mean cheesecake a keep it in I tell you I'm not sure I ask. And then it just isn't. I'm on that where is the winter it also isn't going to where I'm going to make sure I marvel about. The fact that we are there's a lot mixed in this isn't that but that just the coffee and was disappointed as well the carrot cake of the Yeah I was saying oh you can have a carrot cake and conviction self that you hated healthily Yes God Yes because you say he. Kept on very short there isn't a rainbow unicorn cake on there. In the top That's right. About you now because. At the. The Beautiful South and you keep it all in on b.b.c. When you come to give them a parka with me we need to talk musicals we did we really did I love them oh I love a puppet. John you're right I did so because he. Says he was talking about me because of the white. Should they be bombed question yes. Can I assure you that that was an. Absolute you know that you. Know I do yes I want to see the white dress and at the Adelphi in London. And it just so you can talk back question because it just feels like they are really just them managing to keep an audience packs that walking 3 you know the number of people going to musicals last weekend to me was slightly different because sour paralysing a songwriter had written the music for it so it felt quite edgy to me rolling than just you know your typical but I could not believe the. Musical theater comment which they say is that people go to they do a double in a day that. I just swore an indulgence I just love to see what I'm going to watch from the Yeah absolutely yeah I'm wondering if they are just attracting this you know an audience that may want to be into into a night by keeping it fresh with you make because it's a. Sort of modern themes aren't modern themes to. It in terms of the films that they're bringing into musicals although you know the characters they're bringing in oh I suppose pop culture characters on the way but yeah I mean look I love it I love musicals I love a nice course I wish life was like. Average and straight and so that everybody knows the words but I don't think that always gets me though is that when you watch the early like. 2 and saying well you know you look at something. To the voting in your day it is really and I just think there's a song for everything and I think you said this song and since have been taxed and sing to him all the times he just loves to sing and so we actually watch quite a lot of like musical television but it means that I couldn't actually watch something I don't think a lot of times that we were really happy so you know I love me It's cool definitely from a repertoire show. I love an underdog whether Oh yeah yeah . But you know I think that My Fair Lady a lot of Carousel fantastic class a. Film coming with just so you feel good but then there's even ones like Miserables which is obviously very miserable so. Miserable but it is done in search and amazing it's really quite beautiful to watch out there because of all of that and how it sort of works and I think it's for you knowing about it gives me the minute I care and oh my goodness I was in pieces probably 3 times during the waitress but it was. Whole feeling of doing something as a collective experiencing that all together in the same regime to how the people there on station I just burst into tears and like you sorry. The so used to it I know you think it's just love playing it's not quite the same either is it when you go to the cinema even though a lot of sleep you're all in a collective them but you know if someone starts clapping everyone's love. It's not what I do. So it's all very often like it's quite you know you're sort of encouraged to get involved you really need to modernize Yeah absolutely yeah I think they mind if you sing along take. Us to like you don't know what it was something that might even be in Greece that I went to the people behind me singing and I'm quite tolerant of stuff because you know. When I did go I have 45 quid to listen to. Bath. And you want to. Get I think about it Ok but you know what she's doing well to for a little while. For a bit for a while but I think that bt the one I went to see at the weekend is they have a karaoke night so you can go in and get on the stage at the. Last I know I had I know not the point but the tickets totally would. Be really nice and I think I'd really like to do it and then they get there and just absolutely not be able to get . Well yeah I would shake Yeah I know I can completely appreciate make my maybe my enthusiasm lightened so. I got place just to let you know if you're on your own you think about these sing along or feel nice you know what you like sing along or. We want to sing along great to show as I don't know as many words as you know I did. Also I just make up words if I don't know. So then when I actually see that that's not it confuses me. Sometimes a little bit disappointing I think when you realize that yeah that's not what they're saying into but I love I think they're brilliant because I think it's you go with the expectation you know everyone's going to be singing along like the brawl was and that it is you know it's fun and I think like you said if you go to a musical and then you can only hear the person singing behind you really annoying I mean not to be funny you should have been in yeah that reminds me of like being in school assembly and you could always hear the person behind you know I would always be the person but I can't you know what can she sing and yeah you'll. Fight Me school that well at the moment is the white so I have time to the south the original soundtrack absolutely brilliant or school musical. But I just know that they just know I should is what I'm used to so I thought maybe . It's a problem. For you and everybody needs a Mr human life if we're honest I want to see his solo empowering and you know I listed all the kids yeah I've recently watched Glee I'm not going to lie. I think he has his little rebellions every now and again. Yes. I like what I like I like. Jesus Christ Superstar oh yeah Yeah oh yes that's not really what I actually yes. I like chess. Enough and I know him so well his chest the bumper Texan language and also one night in Bangkok is also. Just. I take it nice and. Yeah. If you sing Hamilton because that's the thing that supposedly turning the audiences around is that I've had so many good things that I haven't seen at because the same many to choose from on a when he when you decide you want to go it's like they're all going to be good they are all going to be good but which one you're going and all of them. I was just going say the problem with going to London is how expensive it is to get in to see them get. Cheap tickets but you know if you want to go and see a certain one you want to pay a lot of money now absolutely I mean I was definitely sort of sat next to my seat leaning forwards to see all the action because we didn't go top $1.10 but it was it was still I think it is put being part of that atmosphere but I'm like I like a musical that pushes the boundaries a little bit by his Anyone seen Avenue Q Yes I thought that was a really say a little bit of you know when you end up more than innuendo. Bad language but it's all from past it sounds like you know. I don't want to say oh yeah you're really good but again I think that might be turning heads as well in terms of people that I named you know my Has sure Michael would tell us and greatest fan of musical but really enjoyed having he there he's going to tell me differently when I get home now I don't know why it was that avenue didn't want an old musical now but he's still got the themes in it that are really relevant to today and probably the 1st we've got going on he's doing a thing at the film house on Sunday we had him on the other day and he tells the stories behind films Ok but we go into geeking out about my favorite film which is playing oh yeah we were talking about how everybody yeah everybody just don't dance happens from it but when you look at it there's quite a lot of social commentary and as well so stuff like you know unwanted pregnancy loneliness all of that stuff and I think people you know we laugh Don't we all wish everybody knew the words as we were. Happens in St But most of them have got some of story behind let me go up to her and yes you know they're serious but quite haughty to yap yap still bit because that as. That lady oh my goodness she said the much it was like warm. Dancing on a taxi home my goodness I want to have some of that right we're going to call a cab and yes I do it Santa should. Be she will be at Castle Ashby god damn day is Ok enjoying this Sunday as we celebrate the best people places want to use and probably. For the county there's pretty much everything what could you want to be food drink activities and live music from 10 till fall come and join us can be part of it entry to the event is free I'm talking is 5 pounds Northamptonshire day celebrating the best of our day this Sunday from 10 till 4 in Castle Ashby God sitting it out in b.b.c. Radio Santa and. I. Told. I. God. It's even Maxim told on b.b.c. Radio fountain We'll be back into the chat room with Ricky and I mean me I've given you and you know I'm going to hell for you like you go to jail and so. The way. Has been you know of nothing but musicals for the last few minutes I think we just assume that everybody is a closet really funny musical funny even if they're not a producer Joe. He wasn't listening so I've just said something and I've got away with that and we haven't heard she's very very good be rewinding as we speak yeah yeah this was Ok. Later on we will be talking about this but not touched on Sunday afternoon fever I heard about this so this is a big about happening at the walled gardens a car slash my job yes the best of all time to share but one thing I'm doing we're running this thing called New voices because we're looking for talent to come and do this job basically So you got to do a 62nd do they should do you talk yeah you could be joking. But yeah I mean the 60 seconds yes I. Squeeze it all and yeah yeah so we really look at our local singer songwriter who played Justin break this year he's coming in a little bit later on to you tell us what we're looking for and then we will head back to the county records office to find out more about the big houses in Northampton Jim. Jim should travel b.b.c. Radio Northampton in the meantime as well so with the latest big houses in North Hampshire that's something I'll never own for a 45 westbound is still closed I'm told from Russian likes to ditch. Road junction because of an accident there are queues halfway back to little. Westbound the shortish cube is not quite so bad a 6 each way very slow towards the a 45 chance millon there are long delays to and from rushing through I'm Farrah's especially southbound going down College Street where I change his name several times but that bit going down from the chance mill round about town through home ferries into Raj and that's looking very very busy to laze 2 on Wash Brick Road also on the approach there on the Wellingborough didn't turn out of Russia as well Safari very busy all around there in fact I'm also seeing some delays to coming into Russia on John Clarke y.-u. Which looks very slow to get a report to an accident on Lake. Otherwise and one seems alright I find a way it's quite busy going down towards those road works the cars grope turns heading away from the Gobi and towards old Stratford I 5 is a little bit slow going north old strap as you come out of Milton Keynes than just away from there towards Potters breathes a bit that looks quite slow as well but otherwise do let me know if there's more money going 180-0030 double portable 5 by muscle holding up take you again after the new set while. We're in the chat room with. Parker or vicar an Emmy is not going to. Yes. Just broken Oh you've just broken the . Back on the old Kathy Burke tell me about this I'm guessing that on its own or both so it's just going to Me tell it's. All just find it really interesting one of my friends told me to watch it and it's just all it is all about all women so large she sort of spends I think it's 3 episodes but she spends the series sort of like go in through lots of different lots or stages of a lot of different women all over the cat to sort of like talking about be. Like body positivity in social media and how that affects Roy up to having babies and how society views you. If you're a career woman or you don't want kids or you don't get married and it was just really interesting to sort of like hearing these different stories of how people obviously a lot have chosen different paths and Officer she's quite She's hilarious anyway and she's really outspoken so she's just very funny to watch and I think that's what it was not because it sort of makes it very light hearted when some of it is obviously it's quite serious source objects but you know I was just really interesting to watch in some of the topics that came up with things like if you decide not to have children for instance she was talking to this one lady who was only 26 but she decided she definitely didn't want to have kids and she's been trying to get. Sterilized since she was 19 but they won't let her because they think she's going to change her mind so doctors a source saying to a life you need to wait until you know. You're very young to make that sort of decision and she she sort of. Like no not we're not going to tell you what I don't want to do and it was sort of around like well how what what. Is the right age to remain the decision and not how can someone say you know you you know well you know you don't know your own mind sort of thing so it was just there was just loads of interesting topics yes sort of how some women obviously are the career women and their children but then the dads to say at home so it's just a lot to do for. Walks of life and different ways you can obviously do it and I bet she has loads of people because of her humor just because she's very down to where she is you just know. So much and people would open up much more about and just be honest. And then it sort of just mentioning how a lot of us used to start church based on different things like I think a lot of it did make me think. Actually when this sort of young woman must say in what she was only a couple of years younger than me saying that I definitely don't want kids and even I thought straight away like all well how. Can you know you want her you know you March age mom what's he doing then but obviously she feels that she's one you felt like that for 7 years us a long time as well you know why not sort of thing and then on the other and Kathy's obviously chosen never to have kids issues like you know why would I want to share my money like I'm rich and I want not just things but what I want to share my money or pay him for this little. So yes well. 18 years of my life you know me and that's an alternative view that I think people it was good because I think people might have turned their nose up at certain things she said because she says it in such a real and humorous why it's really interesting is that because I knew quite early on in my life that I didn't want to have children because it's just. You know a little get me wrong if you hand me a child and you know it's all right. Yeah yeah I also am perfectly happy being a 45 year old single woman yeah yeah but society doesn't want me to know. Everybody's like what child do you need to be with somebody what about this this this. No why do you hang about with my friends. Or what about they say well you know I get the whole back to myself and you know like for the cat all this huge positive sign. So those are the things she said actually that well sort of came out about it that was really funny because obviously she's she's single as well and she's a marriage and. She was talking to. Sort of teaches about it and. I think she was a psychologist or something like that but anyway she knew our stuff and she said that when you are so heartbroken but look being in love with someone is lovely having a bit of joke every day so it's like every day you have a little bit more and then when your heart broken that drugs gone away so you actually do feel pain so you do feel a physical pain because Kathy was saying like she'd been heartbroken you know it made it never saw want to go through again. And the lady said. But you can't live without love the thing you can't live without is friendship you can't live without friendship from other women men whoever it is because you just completely isolate yourself when you do you know a lot that can reduce life severely change your mind to how things are loneliness so I found that really interesting because you know a lot a lot of what I do is very like you need to have your little girl gang and you actually do you actually really do you have to have friends around you the support you and you can talk to you Don't you can live very happily without love in your life is. That. You can live without romantic love yeah yeah yeah yeah I want to quote because you know I love my Yeah yeah yeah you know. The problem with with. No I've been some. Yeah it was just it was just really interested to watch and I think. Ever think what we need to we need more about this. And this was. Can is whisper from George Michael on b.b.c. Radio time to take your pins and em apart by doing what you really deserve. And. You know them well it's quite tricky Sprite a yeah that's a long way. Yes So what we did but remember that's where we have played just. Because we can. Washington oh I know it. So yes so what I find really interesting and. I'm going to go out on a bit of a limb here so all the stuff that's been going on in the knees this week Gina Miller and Lady Hale and all of that stuff there was a mean going around that just has girl power now regardless of how you feel about what's been happening. That is just women doing their job why do we need to pull out girl power and stuff like that why do we need to point out when women do stuff why do you just accept that women do stuff and just let us get on with it yes but it would actually be more in the favor of equality. Yet just like sex no one's put manpower out. You know every way. I interviewed a lady he's written a book called Invisible Women which is about how the world is built from. Car to car test dummies are always men so. You know. Lots of medical stuff is done on men. So. How. About how do you get this far into the century and still think it's unusual for women to do stuff I kind of guess I would consider myself a feminist Yeah I don't need to check out that I just think we get on with stuff yeah yeah well I think we don't we have to. Get me started on the no makeup selfie being a really difficult thing to do. Shocking is and I think that we are still at a point in society where there are so few women in the positions that they're the latest that you've just spoken out there it does still feel like people need to almost point. It's almost like a not a novelty. Yeah we like missions of power championing it championing that I think intention and yeah but also you. Can see from your point if you know actually I've never really thought of it that way but I can understand that actually from an equality point of view yes if you. Like a quality a want if you're a Spice Girl fair enough go with it girl power yeah is what I'm saying but see almost to me almost almost makes everything smaller because I'm in the fact that you have to point to that. I don't know I maybe it was just my insomnia the other night that when I was deciding everybody had problems that I needed to sort out you know was a lot of them of the moment here I can see why you'd be away. But it just seems. I mean that you're taking a what something from these fantastic people yes but pointing out the gender Yeah. I think there's a lot around like. Sort of asking people questions as well as region something the other day and it was a businesswoman and she'd been asked a lot about whether she suffers from imposter syndrome because. A woman you know like you question yourself and things like that and her argument is like well if you ever sat in an interview and asked him out if you get imposter syndrome why. Why would you just just treat me like everyone else but why does it have to be oh it's a business woman to ask these questions and businessman would ask these questions do you know what I mean in interviews whether or not they will need more family time yeah did you feel guilty about the fact have a career about a family you know. That is the thing I think as much as like that it's definitely come a long way I and I think it's still going along why there is definitely still a bit of a divide in terms of how we view it and how other people view I don't think we'll be there until we don't we don't point out anybody's gender but yeah I think you're right because I think you have to just so say subconsciously for people as well like people maybe pointing out more likely to point out with women maybe how they might somebody feel rather than the professionalism that they brought to a situation or something I think is happening just subconsciously people on intending you know. To. Belittle or make smaller. Achievements that we're going to bring to the table I'm going to stop until now. Have all the girls but the big boys talking point to me was gender. something to see what you know from tell me how but moments left in the chat room with the vicar and I mean. Just given the history given I was changed when I'm on Instagram. So you claim to be what you got me back on the telly what else right Donovan Have you seen where I don't know well. So well sorry to be a really typical girl what he's really good look at. That we just been talking about so I mean yeah he. May and often I'll be asleep it's all the story dollars that was trash admissions that but now it's just a really good action sort of drama Ok And it's. Ok to talk about him at their 60th so that for me it was a truck to make some need to binge Oh yeah I like and if someone's here is sorry going to. Say Yeah that really. Meant to have a go but you need to get 3 times the nap Yeah. Just got to peek behind his has come time for another series I have been watching it all and it. Has been fantastic as my something out of a. Really only option to walk to the sea to be a festival that's why I did so there's going to be loads but I think everyone certainly very attracted to men as well because of that yeah. There's going to be like there's this pardon stuff that's been around and all sorts there's lines of like you know yeah there's loads of stuff going on around the thing is they really stick to what is the series $1.00 max really so there's a new series that's going to run its course before the partakes. And that you are. You know not read Chinese Thank you yes yeah after a year and so one of the things that people was astonished by is that I never seen an episode of Friends. You get. That or because it's just not my source saying sorry for what you thought you know so it's not going to yeah yeah but 25 years old is now yes that's off this week I think that's going to go thinking. Yeah. So I'm just thinking that you know in time 25 years time there's going to be picky Well you know many things be coupons 1st of all there's a yeah you know in 25 years time it will be like a retro. Point I need to produce Johnny's astonished by the fact that you just say that people are attracted to men now. Only I should say he was going to. Show some Yeah because why are you start sharing all she wants book. There was research about to get research about the fact that it's not we've spoke back sense for him is that it's the accent that I think people use the only accent this in a minor case in this country is going to tackle and actually much like the back of the site so the reason that the reason that people people find it discordant and sad because mine. I wonder if people have is going to. Give it a whole new level now yeah you could you can take that away with. That and it's been fun thank you but yes. They can i mean. We'll see you again I want to show you. The cheese weekdays from knowing b.b.c. Radio New York Times and. In Northamptonshire b.b.c. Radio north I'm to. Go. Everywhere. From the. Want to talk like this b.b.c. News from Sara foster good afternoon place fall and Crime Commission says actions being taken to improve the performance of the force following a damning inspection report the report by the chief inspector of can stop rewriting the force is inadequate and said it would struggle for the next decade without an urgent injection of cash the commission says the Chief Constable is already changing things we need to do a better job with the results as we've got mixes on a new policing model and as you're starting to see the benefit you over 2000 less burglaries this year that's it is January of this year when this report was written and you know in the report it says around background stuff that matters to people we're starting to see affected.
