I'm a coffee coffee all the way frou frou 80 percent time be instant get the percolator out from feeling in a good mood but you know you're no use to me on this segment so we'll see you in half an hour Ok not the 1st time someone said that to my face because I bring it up because there's a teapot that's going under the auctioneers hammer matter metaphorically in Norfolk later this week and it's set to go for more than a 1000 pounds what's so special about this porcelain blue and white teapot Well there are local links but to find out we'll be talking to gazes in this and Elizabeth told what's well known on t.v. Antiques programs she'll be coming on to tell us about the 1000 pound tea pot that could be later this week at the auction now though 8 minutes past 8 and we've got to tell you about the weather you are to drink or Elizabeth I think you probably are but you've got a company already here I haven't several of coffee as well yeah you don't feel that I don't favor one over the other but take a day out to get their political impartiality is all right so this is far and you know it's my preferred to say but what about what about the weather. Well it's been a cold start to that I think we're actually going to be getting mild I have the next couple days it's a bit you know you wouldn't think you know it today although it is a milder start than it has been we've also got some patches of mist and fog around as well it's kind of been overtopped by some lake cloud say for many of us it is quite a great start to the day but also some brightest spells around as well. Many of us will see some sunny spells of things we had through the morning and it should stay dry today it will turn quite windy I think by the end the afternoon a brisk south westerly wind setting up and their temperature is a bit milder than they have been say highs of 9 maybe even 10 degrees Celsius but staying dry today and who gets the saving that we got some wet weather seeping 3 from the West with this model the ethics good time wet windy and mild overnight but we could see temperatures rise for many places as we head through the night was start of the day tomorrow in double figures temperatures peaking smart around 30 maybe from 14 degrees Celsius but it will be blustery and the be some wet weather for much of the day of some bright spells through the often in over the weekend a drop in temperature again on Saturday some lovely spot the sunshine it should be dry for much of the day on Saturday with rain on Saturday night into the 1st part of Sunday morning then that rain clears away brightest bows on Sunday afternoon but it will turn very windy that bit of a mixed picture over the next few days as they Let's take a look at the Angel waters forecast for today the winds southwesterly 3 or 4 increasing 5 to 7 occasionally Gale 8 and later the sea states me the slight becomes light to moderate the weather regulator and the visibility will be good but occasionally poor Elizabeth it's Amy b.b.c. Radio weather Thank you Elizabeth Mathew Gudgeon b.b.c. Radio not for Cam it's a breakfast program on a Thursday just after 8 o'clock hope you're doing well with Smalling this time next week by the way you'll be able to count votes because polling day next Thursday the general election and which way are you going to go have you made your mind up perhaps you might have changed allegiance from how you voted in the past you may be feeling voter apathy none of the above either way you're not alone and we've been asking people in Norfolk in the Great Yarmouth constituency if they have decided to vote and how. Not going to vote at all because none of that going to do won't where you want We've always supported a particular party and there's no reason to change our minds now I think. We have a very supportive party I'm willing to listen to the people the party I'm following is definitely saying the right things in life to Lavan That's why I wanted to go so it's messing about so it's not really about bricks it for you and how will it affect things at this general election pricks it certainly has been in the headlines for many years now but now or in a general election campaign other things come into view as well let's speak to Catherine Bond who is a professor of e.u. Law at Cambridge University and Catherine is on the line to us now good morning good morning to you so I mean for real point of you watching all the campaigning has it been bricks it bricks it bricks it no it doesn't and it's been billed as a election and of course the parties who have headline positions on projects that you're not hearing is any detail about BRICs it not least it was an earth bricks it will mean after the 31st of January. So does that affect most then is it going to be Boris Johnson he's pitched it stented by moving slightly off the the agenda or want to be some of the opposition parties where you might think the opposition might benefit because of course once the discussion moves of the train of bricks it it moves on to things that people care about affect their daily lives so education's goals health hospitals and so tends to favor the Labor Party but of course as we know there's very keen to it attract the leaves constituencies as traditionally voted Labor and so he might be able to say actually getting all spread talking about the n.h.s. And the claim that there will be 50. You know this might be attractive to those constituencies on Brecht though it's a high wire act isn't it for Jeremy Colvin and a senior Labor colleagues because when you look into their policy on breaks it involves Now another referendum doesn't it and and a deal but will be put in that referendum which none of us know exactly what it will be well it's interesting because if you look at the labor manifesto it has quite a lot of detail about what the Labor Party would like about the relationship with Europe it talks about close alignment to the single market and some sort of stake in some sort of customs union but what the labor manifested doesn't seem to distinguish is the divorce from the future relationship and all that the e.u. Will talk about at the moment is the divorce where is what Jeremy called me wants to talk about is the divorce and the future relationship all wrapped up in one and he says he will we renegotiate the reason Maple is Johnson text and wrap up some of the future stuff in it he will get that done in a couple of months and then he'll go to the country with a referendum and all of that will be done and dusted and 6 months I'm afraid it was for the simple reason that it takes a minimum of probably $22.00 but probably $26.00 weeks to have a referendum so that's already the 6 months go on. To try and renegotiate. It's very problematic Mr Coburn I was looking to do it Harold Wilson is made by staying neutral in any vote that's what he says he will rise above it that's what Harold Wilson did 40 years ago 30 Melissa virus firings going off. We know it's not Harold Wilson It might be Jeremy Corbin or Boris Johnson giving a coal about this. Possibly not but yes that's what he says he's going to stay you caucus important to stay neutral because. He will therefore reflect the whole range of a whole range of views but get Bracks it done is the coal. Well from Boris Johnson and the conservatives that's the mantra and surely that will cut through because after all 3 years ago this country did vote to leave Europe. In the coup to consent to this you heard that in your piece. Just before I came on air that people said up to you and they think they were bricks don't I'm afraid there's a new set of them to its bricks it will not be done on the 31st of January. Because all that will be done on the 31st January assuming we leave on the 31st of January is that that's the divorce we need to be talking about the future relationship and the next 11 months will be spent talking about the future relationship it will be wall to wall bricks it took joy right let's get the general election over with 1st and then we'll see the law of the land Professor Barnard always nice to speak to thank you very much. Catherine Barnard who's with the University of Cambridge a professor in law. First on radio Norfolk quarter past 8 the small things main stories the political parties are stepping up their campaigns in the final week before Election Day Also this morning a disabled motoring charity based in Norfolk have told us not enough is being done to clamp down on the Misuse of blue badge disabled parking permits in sports in Orange City do their survival bid no good at all by losing to one of their main rivals at the foot of the Premier League table last night $21.00 at Southampton the weather for today a cloudy start good sunny spells developing and then top temperatures topping out around 80 degrees coming up in a few moments we're got Wally Webb on he's going to meet the north for gangster who's taken it upon himself to help the homeless in the county this Christmas at 16 minutes past 8 and let's update you on how it's looking. Radio new folk your part of the b.b.c. It's $818.00 and here's a heartwarming story a 7 year old girl from a stair room was so moved by the plight of the homeless children that she saw on the streets when visiting France recently she decided to take action nearer to home Charlotte Hozier told her parents she wanted to make homemade lunches and distribute them to people living on the streets of knowledge well we can go to Wally Webb who is there live now at the family home in Durham Wally over to you. Thank you Matthew we are indeed. Listen and we'll hear all about this year's efforts after Charlotte you have told me what you did last year because you did something last year didn't you yes. I think it got some so-so like. Lego Star for just a list people like me. And I gave out I can this Steve Hayes and. Toothbrush at. Her because she would talk you went to a dentist and they gave you a load of toothpaste that was very nice and you went and gave those out on the street. But then we lost money about her trip because she's been to from Salisbury Yeah yeah. Yeah we went to the Christmas market and Leo a couple of weeks ago and we were quite shocked to see quite a lot of homeless people with babies and children so we decided when we came back we get picked up Charlotte from her sleep over and we told her about our trip and we mentioned that being homeless with young children and babies and she was quite shocked and said that she'd had enough of all of the homelessness and she wanted to do something about it just right you want to fix it you know what you've been doing this year than. I have been like make him pack lunches but I miss give him a sound like a chocolate bar Apple it's crystal clear Well we'll find out how you've been giving your job after we've found out that you went to a supermarket and you and that if you got any food. What did they say they said I'll just go get fast and they just go and ship it for us and asked us what we wanted it to and then we told yes and he just went around and did a lot of free shop. And then you may be making these food parcel yeah now I know it was when was it was it last weekend that you gave them out when you did you yeah and you just walked around the. The city streets looking for homeless people how can you tell they're homeless because like if you know much things and they normally sit by how is. The way yeah. And you have you're little bag of food that you've made. And you just go to them what you say to them and they said here's a packet engineer at you and he killed them. You have to like it and then and they drink it just drink it and what did they say to you. That. When he even said that i asked me if I wanted it to keep it I like keep it that was very nice of you and. What do you say it was 7 yeah she's a really really proud of that because she is always kind of this before herself and thinking of really kind things to say and I'm I don't people asked us you know what With that said to us when we handed them out because I think people are a bit worried about getting things out how it will be received but in all honesty everyone was so grateful and you know I really friendly and I think some of them just wanted a a chat with us so it was you know a really really good sort of wonderful thing to do Christmas you even wanted to give a real pocket money didn't think so you didn't have time on it and I suppose now you're going to be thinking what we can do next. Well don't you Well well thank you thank you very much. What a lovely story and what a lovely person Charlotte thank you Wally Wiley web. Household this morning in Durham and yes 77 year old Charlotte is why she's a forward thinker isn't she for someone so young. It's 22 minutes past 8 thank you for joining us around the breakfast table this morning on radio Norfolk Matthew Gudgeon standing in for cry. Score him who will make a glorious return tomorrow although listening to him describe the football last night things coming back like the rest of the knowledge fans with tails between legs but yet crisp tomorrow morning here though we got plenty more of the breakfast program the small inning we've got a and election debate after 9 o'clock focusing in on one of the Norfolk constituencies and the most marginal of the mole is to be found in the city of knowledge knowledge North has been helped by the conservatives now since 2009 Chloe Smith the most recent amp a she standing again but expecting a tough battle from labor who in the shape of being Gibson held the seat before her last election 2017 there were only 500 votes in it and we'll have all the candidates talking to us on the program in NORAD's north sort of microcosm of the election battle really talking about the issues and you with your questions as well after 9 here on Radio Norfolk breakfast. A little pot for tea potted by the sea as good as new it's actually a late 18th century rare and from father and now for sale in this all the way from Lowestoft a gem not to be missed so impressive is this porcelain teapot it's inspired a Norfolk auctioneer to poetry Elizabeth Tolbert of gazes in days has been describing the Lowestoft decorated blue and white teapot as part of $700.00 lots coming up in their Christmas sale this week the teapot once sat in South key museum in Great Yarmouth and could fetch as much as a 1000 pounds or more at tomorrow's sale well without any further ado and I wonder if it's running rhyming couplets should be speaking to us in Elizabeth told what's good morning good morning good morning good morning actually that the muse upon you they're going to say they comes occasionally I mean by by such a lovely lovely gem that's the thing so it's mind whirring So this is Lowestoft pottery which I think means that it was decorated in stuff was in it or no actually 1st of all it's porcelain and secondly it was most money such a decorated low start low start has a magickal little period in it it's a wonderful history between about 757 and 8 you know so anyway it actually competed very violently against all the big. Money factions throughout the rest of Great Britain who were producing fine quality porcelain and this is one high example of what they could do is it unusual to come across such a good example it's only yield to sign such an early piece which is so experimental that the shape is very very complicated in terms of being a rigid molded body of a little so-called teapot it's unusual to be a teapot it was either a few tea pots made and say cheap bulbs and source or teacup. And sources you don't have one to put it in the tea service but that's what the other amazing thing is it's in such extraordinarily good condition you have to blink and look twice to think it's sort of 250 years old or so and just looks as though it was made yesterday it's lovely it looks a lovely thing from the photographs and the pattern is quite classic suggest that there is painting painted patterns on it is that yes it sent a glaze blue I mean most of last of course little white was under glaze blue for the 1st 2 years of its production and really it's caused a little delicate neck chain of floral decoration around around the rim of the neck and then the lid on the body has just got very delicate Seanie we've so floral tendrils very much like garlands really which just decorate loosely around around the body it's very very pretty but a very very Georgian very understated high English Georgian delicacy and there are collectors for porcelain and more particularly inspire a subset Cypress I suppose particularly Lowestoft porcelain there is a sort of very. High blown maybe quite a small collection but nevertheless a collection of people who will want to be it for this most desolate we've had a lot of interest I mean I'm the auctioneer he maintains the I don't know the whole the hard work to do all the the the auctioning for the amulet of course didn't sell which takes place last often every October and that's been going on for many years and what's very interesting what I'm delighted about is that most of the collectors with real passion are still low staff and local Veyron people who've grown up with it through their generations of family and they're determined to keep it very local and within the last oft interest there are lots of categories so some people make that just to us and people make a cut just blue might some people may collect certain Designs and Patents So even within the sphere there are lots of avenues to to pursue and Trace it's lovely and this was once a museum piece was nettled I think in more recent times it has been a. Private Collection it has what I what I haven't managed to establish from from the current vendor who's inherited it from from parents is how it is reached from the museum in the almost in the mid 20th century through its private hands it could have been the best family he started loaned it to the museum it could that could be the link. But it is also documented illustrated in a very famous last off portions book by Geoffrey garden which is to get in the late sixty's and at that point it was still in we've been. So it's hard for a little time available on the open market throughout its life and I'm not so also very precious and special thing for those who want to you know purchase a piece if it's not being around the market several times it's always got that air of magic really it's too special to use there is no door would you hope that someone would have a cup of tea out of it in many cases I say things are made to be used in that for the purpose of their origin but I think in this case it would be almost sacrilege I think it's to be enjoyed and put on show and appreciated by whoever happens to manage to buy it they don't score it away in a cupboard but I think to put hot hot liquid in a make table probably just a little too much for it now and will it make 4 figures do you think I think you're on your estimate is around 800 is not I'm I'm actually getting more competent it's achieved such a lot of following since people would became aware from the initial invalidation we gave which was the original the site's graph alone we thought it was probably made for 600 we upped it to sort of 6900 but I think we're probably still being rather cautious there so fingers crossed. Well people can go and have a look batten or the other items the Christmas I or I think earrings today is not as was or o'clock till 8 pm Yes we've got over 2000 lots on site including this amazing sale and I just actually also includes some small items from the private apartments for whole which is now owned by the National Trust but that's a very interesting section to sell to so a lot since we've everybody is always so please come along lovely to see and the sale is tomorrow Elizabeth Kolbert thank you for joining us from gazes this morning thank you and any more poetry in you or we use it all up for today I don't know I regularly I reckon we put some particular through Twitter if anybody knows me I'm. I've got news. I have to join in and get over all the Elizabeth Tolbert thank you for joining us from the gays sales rooms in this and election very much to the forefront today and we've had a nice one from Rob here Rob says I've had chewing gum flavor last longer than these campaign promises all the parties are as bad as each other the only way to make a difference is vote for the independent candidates or none of the above. News and sports on the way in a moment 1st they were going to check in with Caylee poacher thanks very much Matthew if you're heading towards Norris this morning on the a 11 is very slow heading towards the thick gone round to balance this morning at least an extra 10 minutes on the a 11 alone which is towards the roundabout very busy and new market right now securing pretty much from the round house around about for the hospital all the way towards the al to ring road an extra 25 minutes on top of your normal journey time quite a busy morning for you as well a 140 on the road in both directions towards long strides in an extra 10 minutes the 4th 6 also slowing northbound from 13 towards Yelverton an extra 10 minutes there is usually a $47.00 from a cool towards Norwich through the Burlingame stretch and towards King's Lynn busy and on the gates and road and punches him board the heading past the hospital and also coming in on the 810 past west when she cannot dates me 08038973 c one my festive formatter is starting to struggle a bit can you come back after the news and sports and get it back into the right area and I'm sure I can never happen to another Caylee's Christmas Carol coming up very shortly. Drinking in jail labor is back and proud Good morning Matthew it was a night of little joy on the south coast for the rich city going down to one to Southampton in the Premier League the canaries were undone cheaply by 2 set pieces in the 1st half Dunning's and Ryan Bertrand cashing in on some poor defended Teemu Pukki pulled one back with a small finish midway through the 2nd half but the spotlight on small city couldn't find a late level in the die moments head coach Daniel Farkas says the 1st half performance cost them the game we didn't have control over the edge of the game and were 2 terms bullet. And set pieces and for that we have to play that in the 2nd tower to go out in front for to dominate the game also to be brave and to take some risk also in the build up because if we do this and we are a damn good side century we can. Be competitive from each of level and I think the setup of fans actually would have to suffer to the fact that it was at least a draw in the hall but. 90 minutes. At this level and the 1st 45 Prince worst cannot govern a city and now 4 points from safety behind last night's opponents Southampton staying with the football Premier League leaders Liverpool won the measure I Darby 5 to us and Field last night and more pressure on Everton manager Marco silver he was sticking to a very simple line about his future after the games he said Join the club until the worst there will be be always one other person professional and giving my best every single That is step up for us there's a lot to me to us as people because they're coming for us 2 months and off every single week and I'm not there at this at all that's have to be elsewhere lost my job as a Marine yo didn't win on his return to play Manchester United with Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford that game ended 21 for the host Leicester City remain the side closest to live bought the top of the table there 8 points behind after to know when over what for who are now bottom the other game played last night or Chelsea beat Aston Villa 21 was how to win over West Ham beat them to no modern new set of records in tributes continue to flood in for the former England captain Bob Willis after his death at the age of 70 in a statement his family confirmed he died after a long illness Willis was widely regarded as one of England's best ever cricketers taking those famous 8 wickets for just 43 runs to help England to that famous Ashes win at Headingley in 1981 in a statement the England and Wales Cricket Board said it was deeply saddened to say farewell to a legend of English cricket. Box in Alan to me Joshua's weight is becoming the focus ahead of his rematch with and the reason Junior in Saudi Arabia this weekend he says he'll weigh in lighter than 17 stone which is come as a big surprise to many pundits the British heavyweight has also taken inspiration from 5 decades ago when the heavyweight division was frighted 7 why is I think just studying this game in a big rabbit in there in the ways and stuff but we're just going to like to spot smoke and you know we don't look like the best actually on the stage but he's forced to try because he's fibers that work off for boxing and finally the horse racing today is how you make is to piss off at Wincanton racecourse at 1220 today looking out for the number 2 horse I'm wiser now that's off your sport this morning Matty what happened to Tiger Feet then yesterday Well I don't know must be out there in the mud somewhere. Radiant offical weather forecast now what makes spec today let's find out from Elizabeth Ridge Seanie got a cold start to the day we've got a bit of frost out that and possibly still some patches of fog around as well 3 the morning rush hour that will gradually lift this cloud of this brightest spell and there will be some sunshine I think for the most of it as we head through the morning staying dry all day with the risk that westerly winds picking up and some milder air coming in from the west that will end the day on around 9 of the be 10 degrees Celsius things are set to get milder but be careful what you wish for the details in half an hour Kristie Jackson on the mid-morning programme on Radio Norfolk today she's on at 10 and amongst other things they'll be a taste test of high street mince pies they do vary in quality and depending on what you pay you sometimes get a bit more of the mints in the pie don't you but it's not always the case sometimes there's some bargains to be had some really good mince pies that aren't necessarily the really expensive ones so we'll get the verdict with Chrissie Jackson and producer read between 10 and one today as I'll have a desk full of mince pies we weren't asked where we Kaylee poacher to take part in this I feel slice it I know I feel if we need to linger around long enough maybe they'll offer up the scraps of the ones they don't like as much which we try and usurp them a little bit and have our own little discussion. Mince pies brandy butter cream single or double or custard. Just on it saying come on come on Kylie. You'll like one of these politicians are going to present your opinion but how would you eat your mince pie have it be just sort of naked it would be naked and probably microwave for about 20 seconds while now you could scream I think you could do it in the oven gradually microwave you end up with like the molten lava or all the cold I can see it would have to talk a lot more about this all theoretically I need to hedge a case you and Judith and Lucy Ger member them yesterday yet said we we want to hear Caylee when we just about to arrive at school and drop Lucy off we need to hear it at 5 to 8 in the morning and you really delivered for us this morning because you've got a lovely brass band from fight come to me at least say well hopefully do you definitely see you much to catch that very glad they got back in touch with well Bill got another Caylee's Christmas Carol now and it's a change of a flavor from the prof spawn to really remember what we're asking you to send in your version of Christmas carols and songs and we've had loads of they sent in already earlier it was fake and I'm town band in the spotlight. Isn't that fabulous Well answer everyone involved with Rock of Vox including Tiggy the musical director and their version of what Christmas means to me a crate Stevie Wonder track that we will hear about this time of the year but not that often I think it should be played a bit more but well done to rock a Vox who run rock and pop choirs across Norfolk Durham Swaffham and Tave room included and we'll have more Caylee's Christmas caroling on the last lap of the working week tomorrow the Friday edition what we got 2 more tomorrow tomorrow so I will look forward to that 630 with Chris tomorrow morning and it will talking of Christmas records did you have all the web this morning just after 5 he played one I haven't heard for years it was Dennis war Simon and George Cole the styles of the t.v. Comedy show mind now that goes back a few years doesn't it but they had a Christmas hit as well and it was cold what are we going to get for her and doles . I thought rather enjoyed it was novelty record but I forgot all about it and that and then the recollection came on me that actually Dennis and George both appeared on Top Of The Pops to publicize their records and I sang it live in front of a rather bewildered audience I think it was a hit listen back to it on the b.b.c. Sounds if you like to chew on into to Wally and to hear that again now 13 minutes to 9 that's catch up with the main stories. First on b.b.c. Radio Norfolk the Conservatives and Labor intensify their efforts to attract voters as the general election campaign enters its final week Also this morning cannabis plants with an estimated street value of more than half a 1000000 pounds or been found in an industrial unit near Bungie whether cloudy starts but actually now clearing and some good summary spells for a lot of us the top temperature around 8 degrees coming up shortly on the program Christophe Zimmermann the North City skipper reacting to Norah just 21 defeat on the road at Southampton last night. Further news on the road so back to Caylee Thank you Matthew Well it's a very busy morning this morning if you're heading towards Norris delays at the moment heading in on the 11 towards think the one and then on to New Market Road all the way towards the outer ring very dense adding at least an extra 25 minutes on top of your normal journey time busy coming in on the road on to the water and varied as well an extra 20 minutes there $847.00 if you are heading deer about of just how to call from out probably in the last couple of minutes of the car it's kind of broken down and it's just about in the inside lane 847 Derren Brown just before you reach the 11 injunction to do take care on the bridge is already looking very slow on the sensors imagine it's going to get worse as the morning goes on hopefully we can get recovery there quite quick. A 47 or they slow away from a clue towards NORAD's not sitting through the burning of a stretch and the spot heading northbound towards the haunting in the tissue roundabout in King's Lynn still busy heading between the Hardwick roundabout and the Queen Elizabeth roundabout and reports of a problem a little bit earlier on I'm not sure if that's still there it's also slow heading in on the gates and very past the hospital that's adding at least an extra 20 minutes if you can update me 08038973 c One Lord Stephen of bump free is on at 1 o'clock this afternoon on radio Norfolk he'll have his one foot in the Groove Records memories from the hot December of 1983 it says here maybe it was also music from 8892 and 99 Steven all 20th century on us today and after 3 he'll be meeting and I'm a car thief from Norah's Castle museum will be telling him news about the female voices tour. On some today breakfast this week we will live from a Christmas tree farming great Nelson we try to avoid plastic is also a theory here in the shop as it goes on. The tree salad most of all for us or even natural wood such honorable plastic where we can not be folks are going to trust me with one of their beautiful trees are going to have to go under one hand on the ground and see we just come along with me just follow. All that is so thick you'll see satisfying jointly Kirstine the on the Saturday Breakfast from 6 on p.v.c. Radio Norfolk your parts of the b.b.c. . It is now $10.00 to $9.00 Matthew Gudgeon on radio Norfolk and Lord t.c. Of this missive to explain about yesterday's horse racing tip Tiger Feet I asked Joe how he got on and we didn't know well there was a good reason for that because the meeting that Tiger Feet was racing at serve was called off in the end because of frost so no Tiger Feet and none run a long with all the other horses at Ludlow yesterday and thank you t.c. For telling us about that. Now North City are on 11 points after 315 games and with number crunch that it's the worst ever tally at this stage of the season for knowledge this century so things are not particularly looking up are they especially not when you factor in a 21 defeat against their relegation rivals Southampton last night sort of undoes the good work of the last 2 games a draw against Arsenal and a win at Everton it was a lackluster 1st half at some marries the Canaries underperformed and they were 2 no down pretty quickly after conceding from corners a much improved 2nd half and a well taken t move Pukki goal wasn't quite enough to prevent a $21.00 loss so it was a disappointed City skipper Christophe Zimmerman when he headed off to the dugout areas to speak to our knowledge city commentator Chris Gorham. Steps up its free kick it if you want but the next day the livery gets ahead. Of their friends most of your posts there are. 2 and here it comes to the 6 your book is ahead. Of them and a frustrating night at that 1st half performance that's going to keep you awake for a few days and as a team you hope not for a few days because we're planning on and so we need to make sure that we learn from it quickly because the way we specially defended said giving them away in the 1st harvest just not good enough for this league and if if that's on the other side what gives a liver is eventually you can't defend each and every star player but of course conceding to win one half time from set pieces is just not good enough and the most frustrating thing I mean Ok you might lose games in the Premier League but to lose a game where you probably haven't done yourselves justice that must be painful you know for sure I mean we know this nick and might be some some teams if they play to their best. Level and we've played our best level. They're more likely to win the games but it's just frustrating if we are not performing at our best because when we're given the chance we're getting a good result because we need to be at our best to get some from from the games in this league and otherwise struggle which is the only thing is any way you can explain that 1st off for 4 months because after Everton and Arsenal there was every reason to be positive but it just wasn't as in I would say sometimes sometimes you've got a scam Sometimes you just don't get in the game on the front 1st and I think we just say well whatever the reason was for just need to make sure it doesn't happen again on the Sunday and then on the other games as well because there might be might be games with difficult to play out from the back but sometimes if we're not able to do so at least we we need to make show came up very quickly and we're playing with a plan b. And then get it get ourselves into the game differently most of the fans strong and having lost now to Watford and Southampton new you making life difficult for yourselves on you yeah for sure I'm in a similar game before but for what we've tried Villa and we've lost this one so those were maybe 3 key games where we will of course hope and expect them to get points from and not even getting one from those 3 is very disappointing and. We well we need to make sure that whenever one of those sort of big games come up which is more switched on straight from the start because in all those games we conceded 1st and there's always this always makes on makes life so difficult for us because you're frustrated tonight or from a personal point of view you've had to wait so long to get a proper go in the Premier League it must feel good to be back. On personal terms are true it's just just good to be back arguments you get the chance to be playing and also 3 games within 10 days and I think for me I'm happy that everything's Sorcha and that I'm feeling Ok about it yeah it's at least about me and always more about the team so therefore we are very disappointed today how different is the Premier League for me defenders point of view. I mean just. Just individual quality that's that saw in the pace of the game a means of him started very quickly and also always running in behind so experienced strikers when you play Arsenal that I think we don't have to argue about that but it's you know they're taking players and also it's about their squad I mean those are the 3 games that I can judge on the 90 minute basis so just especially for me the attacking quality is just outstanding and you need to be switched on in each and every 2nd like we've seen today much just from open play but certainly lots of from set pieces looking at another disappointing night fur North City a defeat on the right at Southampton 21 and the City skipper and central defender Christophe Zimmerman was speaking to our commentator Chris Gorham an inquest into a defeat Hopefully it won't be the case when Origin next in action a game you'll be able to listen to on radio Norfolk this Sunday live coverage from 1 o'clock with the build up 2 o'clock the kickoff and a coward it's 2 teams that came up from the Championship last season but with differing 14 so far really weak weak you can be forgiven for looking enviously at how the blades have done Sheffield United comfortably in mid table have done very well haven't I hurts me to say well can nor age score a victory over them on Sunday afternoon because that's the game Sheffield on Sunday afternoon 3 minutes to 9 was coming up in the next hour well it's election debate focusing on one particular constituency and it's the tightest run race expected to be certainly in Norfolk it's Norwegian north which includes Forbes And Andrew. And hells than if you live in a cross in Origins you as well old Caton Drayton Sprouse than many other places quite a mixed area does spread slightly out into the county as well Norah Jones off its Norfolk's most marginal seat the conservative Chloe Smith her majority was whittled down from almost 4 and a half 1000 to a little more than 500 at the last general election in 2017 Labor Boyd by their success in that election made the seat one of their key targets this time around and that can do this the north city councillor Karen Davis was selected just months after the last election the Liberal Democrat candidate is former Norfolk County Councillor and current Broughton district councillor Dave Thomas while for minority city councillor Adrian Holmes is the Green candidate for Ukip an ex police detective David Moreland who previously stood unsuccessfully for the Norfolk Police and Crime Commissioner role and for broad law and 3 years ago. They will be joining us on the program save Dave Thomas for the Lib Dems who has said that he doesn't want to be involved in this one and they will all be talking to us with 2 of the candidates in the studio with us from labor and conservatives in the debate coming up after 9 o'clock we'll also have Robbie west back with us our election correspondent our political reporter Robbie will be refereeing to some degree and all our attempt that as well but short to get some good debate going with the issues with the lesser of than a week before the general election with our focus on knowledge north after the news and if you want to join in as well you can always do that 080-389-7321 or text 813 doubles 3. Now just before the news what about the roads back to. Thank you Matthew if you are heading at the horse with this morning long delays at the moment it looks like we've had a nasty collision according to pull out on the link road between Horsford roundabout. Roundabout in from another call as well as there possibly the roads now closed there too is forcing you all down to Church Street towards the a $140.00 severity slow at the moment coming from halted on the whole virgin and trying to cut across to be able 40 itself according to the census that's adding at least an extra 50 minutes on top of your normal journey time so very slow I'll be back in 15 minutes. It's breakfast with Matthew Gudgeon approaching 9 o'clock the focus on the election coming up after the bulletin will have the weather is well known for news for my. Tastes b.b.c. Radio Norfolk. Campbell was on the scene a short time ago I spoke to a fisherman just a few moments ago have gone out to see him now and he said to me that he did see some Border Force officials here yesterday earlier in the day which perhaps does give the indication that there was some sort of intelligence about a possible instant going to be happening here a drink drivers being stopped by police after ignoring a road closure in Beccles put in place following a serious crash officers were called to the a 146 at around 8 o'clock last night reports of 2 pedestrians being hit by a car shortly after a driver drove through the road closure despite cones signs and blue lights indicating it was shot the mom from Great Yarmouth says she can see why the town has the highest rate of child homelessness in Norfolk the charity Shelter.
