Family and friends who perhaps even now don't know how their loved one died and the horrible circumstances Boris Johnson and Jeremy Korbel have held talks about the timetable for breaks it off the M.P.'s rejected the government's plan to fast track the withdrawal bill but nothing was agreed at the meeting and no further discussions are planned it comes as the e.u. Considers whether or not to approve the U.K.'s request for a brac sit extension it's thought a decision will be made by the end of the week France's former your minister is necessary as an m.e.p. Fully understand that there is yet but a short period of time if it's for something different if it's for a political shift tell us show us that there is a majority for this in Westminster and we will consider but it's not up to Earth to tell you when you should leave when in the 1st place we didn't want you to leave a man described as one of Britain's most wanted fugitives has been jailed for a minimum of 26 years after what the judge at the Old Bailey called a grotesque murder Shane O'Brien slashed Josh Hansen's neck in a west London bar 4 years ago and then fled the u.k. In a private plane O'Brien was finally detained in Romania earlier this year 35 year old man's been arrested in Clapham on suspicion of attempted murder after trying to stab a female police officer in the stomach with 2 noids police were called to a disturbance in Lynette Avenue just after 9 pm last night the victim who was unhurt managed to fire her taser and she and colleagues arrested the attack in nearby Clapham Common along the neighbor M.P.'s accusing the government of indirectly stoking racism within football It comes after last Saturday's f.a. Cup tie between Harringay Barra and Yeovil town was abandoned amid accusations of racist chanting bottle throwing and spitting speaking at Prime Minister's Questions the labor m.p. For Holmes and Wood Green Catherine West said it was right that the game was abandoned Well the prime minister congratulate the manager Tom Lloyd to for taking the players off. Which is a very courageous decision and can he explain to the house why bigotry has currently been emboldened under the current government. But Boris Johnson rejected that accusation that I was with the young lady who until the last point I said I think British racism in football is utterly disgusting and should be stamped tied to. Every possible opportunity now with London's whether his cake can sell all the cloudy with showers outbreaks of rain through the often in temperatures today that getting up to around 15 Celsius it's not going to be as cold tonight it was last night we have this warm from which brings some slightly warm average does remain cloudy wet to start with drive through the 2nd part of the minimum temperature dropping down to 10 Celsius b.b.c. Radio London it's 3 minutes past 3. On Digital Radio 94.9 f.m. And on b.b.c. Sounds this is no longer This is b.b.c. Radio London Joe Good. Gossiping That's why there was a pause there last thing within a day and good God so many tech so many e-mails if you want to call Phil Frey the number is 080-731-2002 speak to the skin queen as they say called in the day Bagot so very quickly we're going to work our way through this Melanie in Wimbledon says place you know as the day in her opinion on plasma i.q. Treatment I am doing my 1st procedure next month I've researched as much as I can but I would really value Nadine's opinion no idea what it is in a day it's a form of skin tightening used around the oil where they use a plasma arc of energy to burn the surface of the skin essentially are with can you send me a picture can't you can she send me a picture on Instagram d m a because if your eyes are as cold and hooted as more and don't do it really is why it's because you literally will not get you'll need 3 the down time will be a lot and you won't get a huge result I will honestly say by the time you get to my age if you've got a hooded Oyo you've got a permanent creepiness around the eye for the same amount of money as 3 plasma pens or take souls which is another form of doing it you'd better off having surgery related downtime is less it sounds so much worse you know I've just written a huge piece for you magazine basically being rude about tweet wins these are these things we're talking about called Tweak Mint So essentially they're the soft option you have before you have surgery and there comes a point where they over promise the un to deliver by the time you've had 3 or 4 you might as well go into the now where a view if there's someone you trust as well and do your research when it comes to that please whoever that let's have a you know it's mellow. Melanie Please follow me on Instagram Facebook send me a picture I will open it up and I'll give you an honest assessment however if you were in your late thirty's or early forty's you might get a great result but if by the time you're my age sometimes so if you want to follow in the day when it's at the Dana Bagot that's. On Instagram Facebook Twitter they go if you d.m. Her she will respond she delves she was bounced all her comments Jacqueline is in Ching Hello Jack Elaine I have asked. What can we do for you. Well hang on Jacqueline have you got the radio because I'm hearing some kind of feedback if you could turn the radio down that would be great no I don't All right thank you you know. My story is I. Train late in life write a lot of pregnancy bad things at 27. Serious old now and over the last few years I've noticed. Developing. When I say. That it takes about 2 years for your hormones to regulate after pregnancy. And I think it's already true as well my mom had. Or dark spots or have his lines we either Now I can say I had clear skin before the pregnancy or even know when you knew how old or when I got. Amazed at how old I was but now I feel my age and I love it I mean honestly hand on heart when it comes to Milan you need to have a professional dermal uncaused Peo it's incredible you can have laser treatments or i.p.l. Because they will because the heat will actually get give you more pigmentation but if you have a really good either one or 4 series of peels it will make a huge difference but you do need to go to see a dermatologist to get it done so I recently went to a clinic. In central London and they advised me on a series of. Really of products a year morning and night I honestly don't think skin care can touch melisma you need a clinical pill and by the time you've bought that box of skin care you might as well just have appeal or dermatologists in the u.k. In London that I recommend I recommend Dr Stephanie Williams that you July I recommend Justin cloak and I recommend and jolly motto all 3 of those are registered dermatologists and their clinical dermatologist so they know the skin inside her is a great recommendation Sara and if you didn't get them then ring which bold and Alice will get them because I'll get the deign to say them again but good luck and yes I go to a dermatologist a clinic with a box of goodies even though I know it's probably not going to do the trick so I thank you for that Elle 807312000 let's go to Wolf in Stone Sarah is on the line Hello Sarah. Hi Joe Hi knitting my embarrassing question whiskers whiskers not with. My doctor prescribes a neck Well you have to apply it religiously It didn't seem to be doing any good 6 shaving can you recommend anything can I or my mother had to find problem yeah totally right to treat runs in the female side of my family to come out what color they are all the darker if they go grey or white. But when I last saw them they were saying color is my hair now right Ok so even if they've got even a slight amount of pigment in them you can treat them on home and I recommend what you do is you go to your nearest high street chemist boots department store and you try to find something called a Philips Limaye or don't get the top of the range which can cost $500.00 pounds get the cheapest fillets Lemaire you can they have Black Friday Drew deals that have loads of deals in the run up to Christmas drawing it want to around $200.00 pounds if you can are off it for Christmas it's a home i.p.l. Machine it works it will thin and eventually kill all of your excess hair and it works so well on the chin it's incredible it really does and honestly hand on heart in the near future I'm doing giveaways on my Instagram because I'm just celebrating reaching 90000 I'm going to last a lot I don't want I can go out and I'm going to ask Phillips if I can give some away so honestly I don't on how it's amazing it works out I know it sounds like a lot of money but it works out cheaper than going to a clinic and having i.p.l. Hair removal but you could also do that you could have a series of i.p.l. Hair removal at that skin clinics or your local High Street Clinic and they will literally put some jello zap it and it will go that's the only way to treat it really is like the modern equivalent of good old fashioned electrolysis Ok Ok thank you very much my pleasure thank you right let's get straight this is from Ellie in plays out in a day in should my 16 year old daughter who previously has had acne once all. Thank you over a year ago could she use your job or oil on her skin as I've heard it is good for oil control in the skin to prevent breakouts What does Nadine think I wouldn't Poil anywhere near a skin that has acne because some skins will be fine with it some skins won't but oils generally work better with dry skin if you daughter is previous. Had acne and she's taken her Accutane which is a prescription strength drug to get rid of it I would be using super lightweight serums on her skin I mean 16 she probably doesn't need it but a little bit of hyaluronic acid a little bit of a light weight glycerin serum something like simple or had a lot was being kill or something like that don't go crazy at all but I would if as your daughter she's probably producing too much oil at that age and her skin anyway she's producing too much Seaborn which is one waxy oil so I would avoid oils at all costs very good 080-731-2000 this is from puppy. Dean I've been using indeed labs resurfacing on 74 years old for nearly a year now do you recommend any thing else that might be a step up from this in advance or indeed labs resurfacing yet so I love indeed labs I think is a brilliant high street brand and I do like a resurfacing pads what you could do is start using the indeed labs retinal so they have a retinal and have a nice easy to use retinal amend So you'd use your pads in the morning and then you'd usually retinol at night and what percent because. Polish choice rational we did you get on with it that's why I love it I know it but I don't use it every night you use it every night I think you could use it do you think I would now I think you could yeah absolutely retinal is funnily enough the previous caller her daughter Accutane which is a prescription strength form of the to minae retinal is like a high street equivalent it's nowhere near as strong and you build up slowly you can soften 0.3 percent point 5 percent one percent and then you build up and get used to it but I would think probably something like Polish choice one percent retinal stall 3 Hots awake it except it's a gold standard so I don't put it on my neck that's one thing you do and chest down yes no Danes says treat. It like you do your face right the way down to your nipples you should use all the skin care on that and then on your hands as well yet because we usually just finish it out just such a British thing to do and I know it is economy you say the post-war babies for you and I. 7312000 Raja 1st bloke please can you ask the Dane what products are there for men I'm 48 a day and I drink a lot of water I perform on stage so periodically I will plaster my face in theatre make up I've never smoked hardly drink I like to keep a smooth relatively youthful fresh face look what should I be using on my skin so men's skin apart from the fact that it's very slightly thicker and it has a beard and it produces very slightly more c. Which means age is better is no different to women's skin you do not need men's products The only difference remains products in women's Prada raising men's fragrances added to them so that they're not flowery they're more woody and citrusy and herbal I mean I've got a video with a man called Sam Farmer who is a brilliant brand owner and he's trained as a formulating chemist and we bust the myths about men's skincare you don't need anything do different one is packaged in black or blue one is packaged in pink essentially they're the same thing with a different right really men don't want to go up to the women's counter the brands that we love and trust like Sarah v. And Laroche pose a They're deliberately designed to be gender fluid really so it doesn't matter they're all just blue and white and black and white young keyless So what you need essentially is you need a really nice flannel microfiber cloth a rinse off cleanser cream cleanser to really get all that makeup off and then a gel cleanser when you know wearing makeup and then during the day you need a really nice hydrating serum and at night you need a retinal thank you we're talking to the dame back it was only got her for another 10 minutes if you're quick We'll get you 17312000 Ellie in Croydon says Nadine my weight has fluctuated a lot recently due to this I've suffered with stretch marks and discoloration notably only in a thong lays on my waist What is the best way to treat them if those stretch marks are bright red which you often see when they're very new then they will fade over time they will fade over time and you can get a stick from Boots online called red. Skull which is a silicon stick it looks a little bit like a deodorant but you literally just plaster on and what it does is it helps heal them to that silvery white level now can we just say here now I would happily get up and drop my trousers I am 511 I have stretch marks all over my hips and bottom because I am tall and they appeared when I was 13 or 14 I went through puberty most supermodels have stretch marks most women that are pregnant have had stretch marks most women have gained and lost weight a lot of men have stretch marks once they fade to silver white there is nothing you can do to get rid of them and I know people have even tested you know sort of lasers and things like that it's really hard to get rid of I remember last time you came in you said you've been at fashion shoots where there are supermodels covering up this trash mall Yes so no one is spared right Fiona is on a mobile Hello Fiona you'll throw How do I thank you very much for taking my call 40 years old and I've got very very trying to get. I'm just not quite sure what to do with my skin care generally is what I make up for next to the plate over a. Little more expensive product but Charlotte Tilbury and various different things and I like magic they cream but it just generally with my skincare regime and taking off makeup and what I should be doing there have been a sort of tip. Whether I should be eating if there are more or. Different foundation or different sort of like cream or generally we're trying to get the most common problem that people who have dry skin have is that they don't skin so you so what you need to do you need those flights are dead skin cells so what you need to do is you need to start using an acid and overnight acid once or twice a week in a gel form something like. Glycolic 10 or one of the keyless ones and you leave on overnight and what it does is it hydrates your skin and it gets rid of all those dry skin cells and then if I cleanse in the morning you need to start using a cloth so I'm. The flannel give your skin a good cleanse so that you get rid of it and then you're ready to then start putting the moisture back into your skin the 1st step would be a higher want to cast it serum and then you need to lock that in with what ever cream you want don't spend a lot of money on all of that does is a lot the surface of the skin in so the water doesn't leave it so I love Charlotte she's a mate of mine she does a great range of make up her skin can not so much sorry I'm sure you are listening . The simple rule in beauty is never buy skincare from a make you say that on your channel I think that is such good advice and stick it will you do best you know your orders Lee hand on heart if you go on to Paula's choice you can look at best Sarah might rain it's made for your skin it's incredible All right yeah i was great I know I know so if you go down the famous French pharmacy oil will find all the rushed lost range it's made for dry skin and all you need is a little bit more oil in your blends but don't put an oil on your skin because it'll just sit on the surface. Right Ok thank you very much my pleasure to help that right I'm working my way through these as quickly as possible and if you don't get on or if I don't rage or email or text you'll have to wait until a day in comes back Margaret says Nadine my eyelids blow up as anything lately I thought it was something I ate but after I limited Loza different foods they came back to normal then I put on very expensive I Make Up next day that will come up again read and draw a lot when I make up what Range is hypo allergenic this is such a great question what range because they used to be one and not don't know what they are and used to be al major Mel like you know that is the one that was the only one I know may well I'm not American you can get it everywhere Well Ok so this is very interesting. All start by saying it's probably not your make up it's probably a make up brushes and you haven't cleaned them properly. To blow up that quickly the chances all because most make up tends to be hypoallergenic in the sense that very little makeup that you put on your eyes has fragrance and there's no you really need to genic So go away start where you miss Skara sharpen every single eye pencil you use take every single brush get some anti septic cam wash and clean all your brushes because the chances are that that's causing the reaction and you'll know if it's that reaction because you can put a little bit of hydrocortisone cream off to take the reaction down and then essentially what you need is you need any unscented makeup right so let's think who the she for example haven't you on again have a new range because they have Derma plan they have a new range of eye pencils I'm scars that are specifically hypoallergenic but most I make up is hypoallergenic because it's designed to go around your eyes they goes to wash your brushes and what you'll see and you don't have to buy that particular brush washed off you just use antiseptic just use a top of you know normal and he said to wash give them a good clean lot of them are leave them on the side for about half an hour with the anti back washin them give them a damn good rinse put them on a towel on the saw it leave them 12 hours they'll draw any contingent that says Please can you repeat it again I missed your i.p.l. Recommendation please repeat it I just come in so it's skin s k what do we decide that was a color on an and I always recommend them because they are really good safe series of clinics that a nationwide in the u.k. They do i.p.o. Really recently right rule is an ailing Hello. Hi there Hi I just want to. Let you know I. Tried every patient. Yes there is Ok so the 1st thing is cellulite is completely normal and it's caused by the East region in you. So it's a sign that you're young and juicy and fertile and hold on to it. Honestly hand on heart nothing you put topically on your skin will work there isn't a single cream or lotion or potion that will work however there are professional treatments so the 1st thing they do is you should start drawing body brushing dry body brushing upwards towards the heart going to the Body Shop going to boots going to Superdrug buy the cheapest pure bristle wooden handled brush you can get and use it every single day before the ball for the shower up toward your heart until your skin is quite ready and then if you want to have a treatment there is something called Bella shape and then a shape absolutely 100 percent works it is painful I had to about 6 or 7 years ago because what you've got to do is not going to make you any slimmer it's not going to magically melt your fat but it's going to stretch those tightened bands of college and then my horse. And let you go to that to a dermatologist. You're just Google better shape and it'll come up with your nearest clinic strike beauty therapy place that you do not need to keep doing it one time you could have a series of between 3 and 6 and it probably would work for good for 5 years it would massively smooth it out is f.d.a. Approved to temporarily reduce the signs of we'll have to let you go because you've got so much to get so you're going to need to lie down in a dog to this I love it but what what's amazing is your knowledge is extraordinary and I love the way you give the affordable bran and the more of a treat brand but usually you stick to affordable and this is from Tracy plays Nelson again if she knows a slightly cheaper product that will match the benefits of environ products I use their anti aging skin range but can't always afford it environ is based around the To me it's based around retina oles and all the precursors to Reginald's and you can get lots of them so look at all the disruptive skincare brands look at the ordinary Look being key list and then go for a retinal and the. And you'll be getting all of the benefits about the costs Ok one more text one more e-mail and then Tasha this has to be the last call because I haven't played any music in this off out Jenny says Nadine What is your opinion of the mini facelift to lift the gels and the neck it's done on the local which seems like a good option a case that this is you know I had the marsh I'm hoping to have a profile on my neck but I could go for a mini facelift What's what's the choice what's better honestly hand on heart it will depend on the skill of your surgeon so I would say to her before you have anything down d.m. Me and I will check out your surgeon for you honestly hand on heart a mini facelift is I mean under local anaesthetic fine I find that very scary. I don't agree with the concept of thread left which is this thing where they put these threads in and they hurt your skin back up because where does the skin go essentially if you have excess skin that skin has to be cut away and that really should only be done by a properly trained special plastic surgeon under general anaesthetic right so the law school will be Natasha is in Richmond Helena Tasha Oh yes I'm inquiring to my 19 year old daughter she has keratosis on her cheek which is a condition which create to read when a numbers guy little bumps and she really know what to get rid of what used to get rid of it she's been told by the g.p. Just to kind of do a facial rubbish g.p.s. Don't burn G.P.'s know very little about skin Sadly she needs lactic acid she needs lactic acid there is a body lotion called ameliorate which she could actually put on your skin which is amazing but also companies like the list do lactic acid and lactic acid is both hydrating and exposure dating and it basically takes out all of those dead skin cells that are blocking those tiny little microscopic pores It's amazing she'll probably need to use it most nights for about 4 to 6 weeks. Transform her skin I promise and it's a delicate and it's careful now in general it's not a gentle Thank you you know I wish ameliorate did a face plant or I keep nagging them to ameliorate Our I've never even heard of it it's actually quite difficult to get but it was you that introduced me to it and it's it's an extraordinary body lotion that carries on work you said to me put it on the full you get into bed and it carries on working overnight yes and does not wash off so you have a shell the next day you still feel really a most They're a mate do they is do they just make body lotion and so they do a body lotion and they do a tinted body lotion which gives you lactic acid on a hint of tint but they need to start doing a face right now one of the most common questions I get asked is that rosy cheeked keratosis even a really young children Yeah right so this is the final. Can you please Alison a day in her opinion about sculpture a injections to treat sagging skin I'm 60 and gravity is taking its toll on my lower face and Jordyn I don't want to go down the surgical route how many treatments would I needed sculptress injections I was at profiler sculpture is a different form of filler it doesn't instantly give you results because what it does is it's a sort of poly at crate so it goes into the skin and encourages the skin to rebuild its own college and so it takes 6 months over time so it's much more subtle in fact Joe you and I would both been afraid Yeah absolutely right and it is expensive and you probably will need 3 treatments over the period of about a year and you will notice the difference after the bracket maybe you don't have the gel I'm going into my blue dog seriously Matilda morphing. But yes so sculpture is is a great option and it's particularly good for areas that a phone line where you couldn't get filler like for example bands on the neck or round the lips or something like that and you don't want to look like a plump top faced idiot but you do the time want to slow to regrowth of college and that's what's going on. Ok soon better Rickey's think this in this is the last one she says Nadine what is plasma fibro blast would it be good for my skin I have regular facials is a good thing to have would it brighten my skin I'm 65 no really no not in particular if you want to brighten your skin at that age and then I think I probably would have a really good acid peel a nice professional lactic acid or poly hydroxy acid peel and again vitamin c. Would you recommend a place or do you think they're complete waste of time pretty much unless somebody is getting some gadgetry behind me so I use their own i.p.l. a Piece of light or something or just know I don't do pink you know our home exactly unless there's machinery you could do it I basically have and that somebody is treating me who is better educated than or am so essentially I'm looking for a dermatologist to treat me then I want that French was right well I'm exhausted and I haven't all I'm doing is filtering all these calls and emails you will be back soon we have we put in so many business day but she flies all of the world doing all this stuff a meeting all these people from these Brighton So this is how she knows what she's talking about Eve you go to Youtube channel Nadine back it you will find almost all this information I don't know how many videos you've got now but they go into detail and everything that she's been talking about including one with her looking at what's in my makeup bag and that's in her Real Women series which is up I'm just going to name back it is all there but they're also you do you interview a lot of people in the beauty industry and then the questions that you know I can never ask them because I never meet them and they're broken down into skin care makeup hair care meet the experts rule women rule makers real time you know all that sort of beauty hags me being funny with my best my interest and she is one just name as she is we so is Joe Jones so she's a really famous beauty p.r. Within my industry but also She's founder of the amazing charity beauty ranks and she's got the also anticipate of the Dane says she says it like it is. Which is purely honest in an industry which is where you don't know who to trust really so yes Nadine Baggott on You Tube on Instagram and on Twitter that's it yes thank you very much for you right here now I'm going to go back and film 3 video I knew you would what are they going to go up because I'm up to date with all of them they'll go up or they go up every Thursday and every Sunday thank you right 330 times the news on the other side of that we go to the Royal Court Theatre at. London's headlines and we'll Shindler Essex Police say it will be a lengthy process to identify $39.00 bodies which have been found in a lorry container in Gray's officers were called to the water glade industrial park in the early hours of this morning it's believed the vehicle which comes from Bulgaria and to Britain at Holyhead on Saturday the president of the European Council Donald Tusk says he's explained to Boris Johnson why he's recommending a Bracks an extension e.u. Leaders are expected to make a decision by the end of the week a man described as one of Britain's most wanted fugitives has been jailed for a minimum of 26 years after what the judge at the Old Bailey called a grotesque murder Shane O'Brien slash Josh Hansen's neck in a west London bar 4 years ago and then fled the u.k. Radio London travel his beliefs. And one northbound very slow between Edgware. What food for up to 5 is an accident between those junctions reckon 2 lanes can't see on camera the highways are saying 2 lanes or out a junction 123 and 4 therefore entry only all traffic joining any of these junctions will not be able to leave the motorway before they reach the incident so 2 lanes out and one northbound 4 to 5 trips to the Tom bridge or a bypass southbound block because of an accident near the 25 occurring on the way to westbound junction one that's the junction with the m 2 after an earlier accident a 2 heading out between the fountain would interchange in the dance an interchange very slow almost back to the South Circular lane 3 of 3 close between Falcon wouldn't dance and so that's affecting you if you're heading from Kid towards the m $25.00 junction to darent North Circular slow in both directions up top promise green approaching green ones road works and the traffic lights are backed up really reads b.b.c. Radio and more for me just before 4. B.b.c. Sounds. Cool if. And this love my thanks to Nadine Baggott Now do you remember last Friday I went to the theater and I went to see a show the roll call tops days called a history of war it was the perfect length it was the perfect place our trust civil courts always are that they have ever seen a bad show that but it was also the most intriguing subject we had Jackie clue known he's in a play at the dome all the you. Yesterday and she was saying that about the it's as she said it won't change things but it will produce if it's done well it will produce enough to make you think about it and that's what they spread out she did so I'm really pleased to say Joining me straight off to the next track is the actress Laura Hanna and the to David many and they're going to be in talking about the history of water in the Middle East right off to Jack's have. Now as you know last week on Friday I saw a play that taught me more about the Middle East than any news broadcast seriously I guess you're going really yes it still is my guests and that is Laura Hannah and David moment of I said that right David's house I did practice it 4 times I'm so bad with names I've got the light so I can hardly see my script and it is also all about how war may become the next scarce resource it is called a history of water in the Middle East and I'm so pleased to say that Laura and David are here to join me on the afternoon show Welcome both of you. I so I was talking about Jackie Clune who you may or may not know who was on the show yesterday she's in a play not flagging up the dog mind you I mean the dumb on the roll call that pedigrees go ahead at the moment but she was saying and it's a play about women offenders and she was saying you know what continue to do it it's powerful it can it won't change anything but it will make you think and this play I just I turned to my friend and I said oh my god I now understand Sioux is I now understand Asian I now understand why when I went with my family to his trailer in the sixty's it was the closure of the Suez Canal everything suddenly made sense I'm also I was at school I never took any of that in so my question to you is who wrote this and how did I hit upon this subject. So Sabrina my food says choir so renowned poet and filmmaker she was actually doing a course so us he was and I'm a woman 6 and she starts to learn about water. And about the politics and her growing up in the back and forth in Egypt and realizing that the history she was being taught there was quite different to the history shoes being taught here in class and yeah yeah she has a we have both British prisoners Yeah. So I don't really like she wrote it so so. Yeah she wrote it she's she's the playwright Yeah. And yeah I think in general sort of the water crisis was something she was becoming more and more aware of in the Middle East. But then it was this sort of tracking back as she started to look into this more of of historically sort of really where we were going with it where it where it sort of originated or where some of the problems originated. And then and then it was into link to the period in her life where she was asked to apply. Everybody this is an added bonus because I mean he's asked with split candidates always if I mean I mean Elizabeth in this newsroom the Oxbridge always go well you approached him you know so when you were sitting watching this and there's an actress playwright graduate who says I was approached to be a spy part of me thought hang on is this true or was this a theatrical device when it was new to us like I thought you know you think someone comes up to you on a park bench and whispers in your house how you go and you become James Bond but that isn't what that part of it isn't and the quote about Sabrina talked about there being like stalls so us you know at freshers and all that woman being a nest of like the Alice recruit Yeah open about it apparently Yeah as I say it was very new to us as well but I think there was also a period of time as well when she was at university where. It was becoming quite a popular thing when it was also there were lots t.v. Programs being made about being a spy and all of these things and and how interconnected that is to a recruitment drive but but it is true tante a question yeah this did happen to say that that story started to sort of spark these other connections with you know British ness and her sense of Britishness and how non British she felt or otherwise and how much she was perceived as known British by the world around her so and actually all of us in the company were all mixed British at least and I know I'm always so envious I look to you because you look so beautiful. I wish I was watching you and I thought so although they playing mixed and then you said you know that we've got that I'm half Egyptian and you do you have the most amazing singing voice I have I know I'm sitting here it is. Wonderful because 1st of all I was thinking it is now going on what is coming for me are they playing a tape tape. Shows how overtime pay is there a cassette going on in the back and then I realize it was coming from you actually and I is and then I looked at your resume and you've done a lot of musicals haven't you done a lot of music well I've done a lot of mean yeah I've I've I have done a couple of musicals Bakshi not that many musicals I always sang I sang when I was younger I sang in choirs and I sang in all sorts of things and it's something I've just kept going because I love it and I sing with the sort of folk pop band cool guys G.U.I.'s not guys like boys. And so something was done but what was amazing about this job was being able to because the music is so essential to show you know it's so evocative as well isn't it and eventually Karim you just muse like it's just on the marry him tomorrow he's on stage with all the instruments isn't he arriving. He is and he I mean he does work some magic you know . And that was always so crucial to the creating of the show as well so we have a place script but you know the sound schools almost another character in the show so what was an absolute luxury for me was being able to explore so many different styles in the way that we do and that was also part of the sense of you know what do we consider Middle Eastern music what we consider British music in this fusion which really sort of comes through in one particular number where we've got this it's a fusion of its own and jungle and I think it's just wonderful in the oldest because we're in the shops as you can see the wants of our Always so you can both of these because it's what the so this visual effect so there's maps going up in the Middle East and there are all of us moments can you hear the audience doing that absolutely especially ballet No I was like behind us and you know it's like oh yes you know and you can hear people go oh right that makes sense completely Yeah we don't know what we don't like like you said to him You talk about Sue's come out when you hear about this stuff but you so you know I didn't know something was I mean why was happening yeah no idea of the role that Britain played in all of this and all I know is you know we went through it then when we came back from a strike it was closed we couldn't get through and I had I was I never until I saw you play and I just went Oh my God Now this all makes sense because I was a really naive question to 2 actors write this because it's so close up it's rapid as well it's just now it makes sense she says a 3 hander and a musician she's written it so she's obviously aware of exactly what she's written in this sense sounds so ridiculous but nobody falters nobody stutters and if you did say this to you now it would just lose it it's cause you know like reporters in a way you're like journalists giving us all the facts and Eve you. Stumble or forget it really would break the moment I know it would in any play but it really would in this because it's like a news report at some polling Yeah that there is a real energy and there's an importance that the energy and vitality of the information that we deliver best stays there and is constant through it actually and a lot of that's to do with the way Sabrina writes because she's got a background as a poet as well there's a sort of rhythm of rap those Yeah exactly there's a there's a rhythm to it that actually means it's easier to learn in a lot of ways than if we were just this is you know if I was just speaking some information for a textbook can be quite hard but the ability to keep that going because there's a sort of arithmetic pulse running through it so weird you know the 2nd person to say that the person sitting in that chair from the roll call he said that to me before was as a shawl and it was the last place she was then and I can't remember what it was forgive me and I said to her you come out like a bat out of hell in that 1st Zain and she went because of the rhythm of the one when it's read when writing is really go into the act it's benefit just from the rhythm of it it helps you so much and when writing is bad you stumbling in the place you can just when the right is really good so it takes care of yourself you have to dissipate a thought but when it's a bit shabby you have to do yeah work they do it well enough and you can feel as an audience with the negotiating teams are almost on Friday it was packed audience because I was looking around it is really mixed the typical will coordinate for the president but do you know you're playing to yeah I think it's quite a mix I think you've got you've got the people who are you know the guys the ROCOR the time you've got we get you know a lot of news of. People our interest in the subject matter for the welfare of his head did you notice that yeah lie and you just think of these as they know right yeah I mean a lot of people who are some Middle Eastern heritage or arts any any person of color the. Seems I do or I'm so interviewing Sabrina playing playing the Spar you arrive in your mac Dr my brain my. My glasses those things have been said to them so sometimes they're laughing because while of experience there are and I know young people as well and a lot of people are fans of Sabrina's of poetry and her work as well I think she comes with a certain like oh we're just on that because people know her work I think she's like the 13th woman to ever have. The Met in. Playwright and collection of plays I think in the last really you know you know I mean that's us that stuff and I was just very long easily published Yeah right all right so I mean it's not the triumph she came in with with that photo that she was a huge intelligence girl stuff I'm just reading this out this is a media he says I love listening to this we went through the Suez Canal in 63 on the already on a from Wellington New Zealand to Naples it was such an adventure of the Me and my brother to think that you go through poolside and you're in the Mediterranean is amazing my parents went through it when they were refugees from the former Yugoslavia in 56 just before the crisis Fortunately my brother my mother still here to tell the tale love the sound of the show and media. Can we very quickly David talk about what you were doing to the point for the young actors as well because this is really important Yeah actually for all of those we have loads listening you know how many how many London drama schools are there now 21 yeah what I can see. A lot but we were 66 at the moment and so young people from low income backgrounds so a 30 k. Below family income between our members 18 in 26 factors and 17 if they do so back stage production and the actors get free additions at Rod the guild who dramas and avoid Central on will Scottish they get they. We get one on one tutoring with people like Stef you directed the history of water while Xander who is now artist director of the Royal Exchange the work of people who apart from a similar background understands that work they go to fit for free they go to the Royal Court for free. And they get a series of workshops we pay for their travel so we've not expanded to the east Midlands and Sheffield Rotheram and all success like it's sort of doing what needs to do I think 6 percent of the actors go into the sort of top top dramas language because you will have her sell for all the ills talk about this that it's become a middle class preserve do you not mean that privilege should I say that this is these are the people who can afford to do go through the training can afford to take literate in and take time out to do this so how incredible that being given a boost who started it was that you and was me in a broken computer and had a bit of money from an acting job I thought put my money where my mouth is rather than talking about which everyone you know understandably does enough or less actually do something about it because I choose to go was who I'd met and worked with nationally if they saw and they said you know we talk about a story and their mother was a really cold and financials had lost their father and I said why don't I help you over this period of time and I've recently graduate from killed one rather and one just on the bridge bridge there I feel like it's the part of the spin of a game of friends so. Imagine if that happened then they might go in but you know with the extra support so you know our source of thought how can I do that on a on the largest scale and this is our Yeah 3rd year go in and at the moment I think it really is making a decision where are you getting your funds for them yeah so Arts Council England all of that you'll self Yeah yeah well we've helped 5 or Rufu who works as a base I had that money I paid her to do the sort admin of the Arts Council I did all the meetings calling people to give me lots of free stuff and support places like the roll call and say look can you help me out so they get so used to being in these buildings or in the Royal Court they're. In the Donmar and they're not as intimidating and I feel welcome so when they go into their additions they feel like they have because we're dealing with a sort of like broad term working class mind is like I'm not good enough imposter syndrome all these people seem to know about all this stuff so you sort of do a little catch up perhaps in sort of cultural history. So be lots of evolution and hoopla going to find out more about that how many places and how can they find out yes I had to open door to the u.k. Deadline of final deadline for London actors is today and today you know a lot of that start you've got to today and you can also follow us on Twitter and Instagram open door people and you know if you're not quite ready for that oh you're you know you've got your kids or you are a young person and you know a teenage fact in you can you can see compose of opportunities and famous statement or not so yeah absolutely if your stage manager interest in lighting design. Production designing sets then if you don't even know what those things are you head to the Web site has lots of information because these are careers that are desperate need for jobs as you know it's a bit different to acting where there's a need for technicians there's a need for. Stage management and lighting design across the country so so yet a website o.m.a.c. Says it was just once a year in 10 or so yeah because we go with the you know what's yesterday says it for now in an operation probably I guess July September open door they go to. Open doors already k. Or open to people for the social media stuff the amazing thing I want your battles and I say live and that is it's all about you give it to me isn't going to somehow make this work you know the thought of thinking about other people as well as yourself isn't incredibly. I think simple I think it is or not because people help me you know people men told me and yeah Amanda Redmond. Yeah I went to a school and I wasn't in. On a round of one school and she said look if you don't get I'm going to help you for free and she didn't want to go and she gave me what school you saw me I went to drama Center and she gave me a grand towards my staff so you know I think it's important we continue Doris and also just say the Royal Court how wonderful of it I love the place anyway because they do the best sausage rolls but also I love the fact that French is bookshop is there. With New your own because when French is closed I was so big in Fitzrovia I just put it up on my Twitter I went This is the end of an era you know when I was at drama school we still want there to get our dishes here and I just thought that's gone and then to see it it's all lead the world course right so you are lucky to work there oh it's a beautiful place too and we know it's been crowded they've been such a supportive building as well for piece like this and to have put so much trust and faith and support behind giving something like this space history of water in the Middle East where you know where doing something different experimenting with foreman and they always support so it has been a joy. When you go to their previous or 1st night is full of actors who were there so they all really calling to the people come through the doors because it's feedback time isn't a battle and whatever it's called Yeah right well this runs until the 16th of November so you've got a couple of weeks to book but it is up stairs so it's not the biggest venue it's not really intimate you can lift I loved sparkly jumpsuit thanks so much that you waste time so I was like oh I'm not even sure was my friend Susie got that you know because you were calling around and it didn't sag go bag or anything on or off and Ali But also you just told me you have a change so I was there a fight I don't know what should be wearing tonight. Yes but it's on you can book online at the local theater ring the box office and it's a history of winter wind history of well be the sequel. In the Middle East and I'm so pleased to say that we've been talking to David many and Laura thank you so much . It's always nice to meet people when you've seen the show you know yeah I want to ask them all of this only thanks guys thank you very much.
