This is what I'm 5 mom Dawson added by coming up in this hour Mr Trump causes a stir written Davros with remarks on trade deals not to talk of questions of ordering the firing of a special counsel Robert Mueller during a press conference that the president his legs dismissed reports that he wanted to sack Mr Miller as fake news. We also heard about the bombarded a victory in the u.s. Courts that may have secured jobs in the u.k. And for him to call kids the welfare bullfighting we're talking footsie in Europe and South America employees from over there playing in our leagues and you feel free to text me your questions from now 185-0580 gives a cool in an hour's time when we kick off on Oh wait 085909693. On the final day of the World Economic Forum in Davos the president of the United States Donald Trump told global finance leaders you will always put the u.s. 1st when it comes to trade but he insisted that he's not rejecting international cooperation in his address to the forum Mr Trump said the world was witnessing the resurgence of a strong and prosperous America we have cut 22 burdensome regulations for every one new rule we offering our businesses and workers so they can thrive and flourish as never before we are creating an environment that attracts capital invites investment and rewards production America is the place to do business so come to America where you can innovate create and build I believe in America as president of the United States I will always put America 1st just like the leaders of other countries should put their country 1st also but America 1st does not mean America alone when the United States grows so does the world. This is from them went on to warn partners that the us would not tolerate unfair trade we cannot have free and open trade if some countries exploit the system at the expense of others we support free trade but it needs to be fair and it needs to be reciprocal. Because in the end unfair trade undermines saw the United States will no longer turn a blind eye to unfair economic practices including massive intellectual property theft industrial subsidies and pervasive state led economic planning Well earlier I spoke with who is the b.b.c. European business reporter and he's been following events this really has been a Davos like no other you know the president of the United States the president of the United States Bill Clinton. You know it from how common is now but he really did shake up the World Economic Forum in a way that hasn't been many many. People of Davos self understand how did the impact on the shop at this meeting. I think they do they tend to take a good human being they are used to seeing the greats in the common. You know without batting an eye the most I've seen in terms of comment from the local special in restaurants on Trump. Of a tongue in cheek. Specializes in Shell have you had from Burger was even though I haven't They look very unhealthy and it's quite expensive as everything. So I haven't but I have seen one and it's part of the triple whopper I think contribute to the fact that the president reported to like McDonald's late at night so I think that that. Doesn't that there's not been that much comment from locals as I say they tend to turn a blind eye to the people who come and go here interesting anecdote Jacquemont one of the richest businessmen in China. Seen trying on some skis at one of the show trying to get up on the slopes for a few hours and he was being treated like any other customer because no one knew who he was so I think this is just very much par for the course from Paul or anyone else the locals are on face talking of because it's getting to the real meat of votes now how was President chum's speech received. Not very well to be honest. There were quite a few boos in the room not as loud as I thought they would be but they were some number less than. That really known for doing I mean you can say almost anything hair and get a polite response in fact the fault of the purpose of the forum is that everyone is invited from across the political spectrum John McDonald For example the shadow chancellor Labour's shadow chancellor was it not for you think of as a sort of typical guest and also they all used to say why the rate of a pair of opinions here in a wide range of opinions but I think Donald Trump is really something else phone from for someone who represents the very opposite to what most of the so-called global elites have believe in they believe in free markets and open societies and when he came with his America 1st invest even though he was trying to temper that by saying America can be good for the world in other words you guys come 2nd a very close 2nd but didn't go down quite as well as I think the organizers thought it might do you have a sense of the boys and girls with. Oh I think this of your standard you know Davus European delegates the ones who are the you know the real regulars usually from big business from big European capitals you know the store was the people I had because they they're the real believers they believe in the message that. The World Economic Forum has a slogan which is improving the state of the world they believe and international collaboration that they believe in working together and to them Donald Trump and his math message is really an anathema and I think those were the people particularly young people lots of young people around the world and they you know they were the ones who bring the loudest and there was quite a lot of delegates here as they always are from the sort of countries that don't know. Some prefer to just a few days ago. With the profanity laden sentence and I spoke to a few of them before a few people from African countries and Caribbean countries before he spoke and some of them said they were going to stand up and turn their backs when he spoke I didn't actually see that myself but I believe that. There was you know a pretty cold reception from from people in those parts of the world understandably is Devil's about international cooperation in terms of the international economic cooperation and trade or is it about disparate number of countries coming together to somehow unravel the way working together because I would have thought was the very heart of whether Donald Trump is message is anathema or not. Well you know I've been coming here for 4 years and I'm not entirely sure what the House really is about. For example you know there's all this talk of reducing inequality in society and yet people can come here who are very much opposed to for example high taxes and so that a round of applause for this seems to be the collaboration on every front to most anything goes you'll have C.E.O.'s of large corporations with a very big carbon footprint on panels about sustainability for example and you know people who. Very much believe in private education on on panels or about you know the building public education in the in the developing world so often that doesn't really seem to fit together that of his message in the things that go on at that but I think Donald Trump is really something different if there's ever to if there ever was somebody it was you know at least outside of however broader tent cities I think Donald Trump is that man was a Ultimately a distraction to his doubles or was more and there was a smudge. Well you know I write parents on the thinking that the only what I hear week was from but really you know there's so much else going on here that up until this afternoon he wasn't really the star attraction there's a lot of other issues going on Emanuel McCrone the French president I mean he got a standing ovation here he's very much the sort of. Golden Boy him along with Justin Trudeau of Canada you know liberal center left leaders they're very much welcome here and I think they were much more talk of the town until Donald Trump came along and I think as well that people were hoping that Donald Trump would come with a message that really would make headlines but absolutely he didn't say any think that was that he reiterated his America that he had said this sort of thing before that you know you the u.s. Isn't against other countries it wants to work with them it just wants to renew its trade deals they want to Sarah deal he said all of this before really you know what he managed to do by coming here is what upset the few people in the Odyssey people because I suppose and it was a rear change in one of his favorite phrases about knees I wonder how much of the conversation was huge in our what he describes as a non I'm sure. That's not the way to say I suppose but that was actually an interesting moment in the whole there were over double that moment when he paid back the press who say that part of the press are interesting because Fabio the founder of the World Economic Forum who is I suppose officially interviewing him although it was more of a statistic you know a softball question and answer than an interview didn't back to Delhi didn't say anything and I found that quite interesting because you know one of the core messages of the World Economic Forum over the years especially close societies around the world is to be more open and to allow questioning and allow journalists and you had a president of the United States going off to journalists without so much of a man as a menace from the you know the main organizer although clearly the delegates did not find that. Acceptable That's the B.B.C.'s you pin business reporter Joe Mina speaking to me from Davos now the Canadian aircraft manufacturer. Has won a trade case in the United States over judging a decision to impose a 300 percent tariff on imports of its c. Series aircraft in a surprise ruling the u.s. International Trade Commission voted by 4 votes to nil to reject a complaint by Boeing the body was selling the plane at below cost price well bombarded describe the ruling as a victory for innovation and the rule of law and said it would save thousands of jobs in the u.s. Canada and the u.k. Well joining me now is Katie Simpson news a senior Polly meant to report to the c.b.c. In also up case she was a background to this dispute. Well it's sort of an overarching theme here between candidate in the u.s. And Donald Trump was elected there's been this new trade tension it's not just candidates feeling that tension obviously but there have been a number of actions by the u.s. Government towards Canada on the issue of trade and this is one of them there's been a lingering softwood lumber dispute and we saw the trumpet ministration wrap up tariffs against Canadian products there and then there was this complaint from Boeing Boeing argues that Canadian Jets made by bombarding were being dumped into the American market artificially low prices because they were getting subsidies from the Canadian government now this had to do with the bid that Boeing didn't even to bid on the project that bombarding had one when it was selling these jets so the Canadian government try to bethen and both of them barred you try to it's best to to fight the decision to slap me 300 percent tariffs on the plane I have to say no one was expecting this because you know it's a rule in China disfavor or in barges favor and when the ruling came down and NAFTA talk today it sort of dropped like a bombshell most of the main trading go shooter officials are in Montreal Canada right now for the 6th round of NAFTA talks and there were certainly an element of surprise there one of Canada's largest union leaders spoke to reporters shortly after the enough was made and for a man who is quite eloquent is quite known for his punchy speech he was at a loss for words and was stumbling saying I'd be lying to you if I told you I predicted this would happen so there has been a longstanding tension in this case there are number of other issues between Canada and us when it comes to trade when there is engine but it looks like at least for now Canada is victorious here you say for now do we know what the Boeing reaction to this is going here. Well here's the thing of Boeing can appeal this decision and they can take it to another tribe in the tribe or butyl does not rule in going to or they can move it all the way to the u.s. Supreme Court today when Canadian government officials were speaking about it they say they were delighted with this decision but they also say you know this is not the end of the road here and so they are anticipating some sort of or tell it's reaction from Boeing Now we did ask Andrew Leslie who is kind of the call a mentor secretary to foreigners there he serves under catheters court affairs minister Chrystia Freeland and we asked him Will Canada now allow Boeing to bid on fighter jets because of this ruling I after going barges are up to Boeing had launched its trade complaint against Canada they had also tried to put a big 0 in on a series of fighter jets for Canada they wanted to build them for Tata cat I looked at this and said Ok Are we going to give a contract to someone but suing us I don't think so and so they ruled them out of the bidding process so today with this ruling a number of reporters did after Andrew Leslie Ok you know the panel did not rule in the us favor and Boeing favor are you going to allow them to bid on this contract he said we'll have to wait and see this process isn't over yet you've illustrated quite adequately just how much of a surprise this decision was of those in bombarded and the unions in Canada how much of a real threat was this issue to Job No just seeing Canada in the United States and here in the u.k. . Well it led to a series of very significant concerns in a very significant sequence of events Canada going to Durban barge a good team up with Airbus and they were looking to possibly build a new plant invest billions of dollars in mobile and in the aisle of family in order to meet American content provisions to perhaps maybe ease some of these concerns and maybe some of these terror but now that this really has come down as long as the Boeing doesn't we need other stages it looks like the jobs that are on the line here can possibly stay in Canada I know it's good news for the u.k. And cause a great those jobs can stay there because if there was going to be this big investment in will be a lot of Alabama that's where some of the jobs are going to go. And of course this decision came as the president the United States was putting America 1st in Davos when he returns to the United States to Washington will this issue then take a prince who consumes you think who will stay within the dust through remit of these companies. Well we'll see I'm predicting anything that happens with Donald Trump adult Trump ministration it is not a game that journalists talk when the will be how Trump ministration responds and whether we're going to see any sort of we're challenged reaction from the United States oh no there are a number of other really contentious trade issues right now that I did already mention tensions are are really struck when it comes to the software the lumber dispute the u.s. Is what we did here it's terrifying to think it's also lumber which is a dispute that in fairness has raged for decades and it's not new to trumpet ministration they were trying to get a guilty person Canada could continue to sell softwood lumber to guide states with lower tariffs under the Obama administration but there wasn't the political will to get it through now one of the top of ministration they sort of ramp things up because that political will certainly there now Casey thanks very much Kate he seems to than senior party mention reports of his c.b.c. Also up now you realize the conversation tonight is going to been dominated by Donald Trump whether it's what he's saying in Davos about America 1st or whether he's talking about. About Bumbo and the thousands of jobs of my been saved by this ruling in the United States and even on this issue an issue that dominates in part of the conversation with Mr Chairman a press conference at Davos where he denied that he did the firing of these special counsel Robert Mueller he dismissed reports that he wanted to sack Mueller last June and he described such reports as fake news according to unnamed officials Mr Trump wanted a firearm because of what he said would come fix of interest president has said he said to back down and he went to the senior White House lawyer threaten to quit saying the removal of misdemeanor would have catastrophic effects on the presidency that speech judge because he's a political writer for The Nation magazine and joins is now Memphis will join for the benefit of his adult who is Robert Mueller and won't Seadrill in the Russian investigation. Robert Mueller is 'd 'd probably the straightest shooter in America and that's not a partisan statement he is a guy who served in the military was a top intelligence person running the f.b.i. He's worked with Republicans and Democrats and when. Fired combing the Hellyeah there was a a lot of sturm and drang a lot of passion and concern and there was a call to appoint a special prosecutor somebody to investigate all this and the one guy everybody agreed on was Wheeler and and he was appointed by the number 2 guy over at the Justice Department. Just as of the attorney general had recused himself. Miller comes in and. Basically the concept was that of all the people as a kind of upper echelons of American. Intelligence and politics he was sort of the untouchable guy now we find out at least if the New York Times report is correct that trump thought about firing him basically within a within days of when he came into his position so it's really caused quite a bit of tension and discussion in the u.s. So that he would have been installed some people listening now more Remember can stop being the person the phone in the sort of built into many of the allegations about impropriety being leveled at him and he was facing an impeachment. That would be the equivalent of Ken Starr body. The equivalent but I would counsel that. When Ken Starr was there concern was a much more. A part of thought of as a somewhat more partisan figure and a more controversial figure and and and I would I would take it one step on it and say that Mueller is the kind of guy. Who really in many ways you would think of as a throwback to the fifty's in the sixty's sort of such a straight shooter that everybody we say in America straight shooter you know just a very well regarded figure that you know he really would be a touchable politically star with a much more. Sort of a more ideological guy in some ways so. This controversy about the discussion of whether to come out of trying to fire him is a big deal it's one where people feel ill at ease even some Republicans people like with Graham has been you know quite quite unsettled by this report would it really have been catastrophic for the president if he was. It would have been pretty bad you know in America we have a memory of. Richard Nixon or. We the thing about Richard Nixon was. In addition to all the controversy surrounding him and the whole Watergate story it was also the fact that at a critical stage in 973 on a Saturday night. Basically pressure. In trying to force the 'd. Best of gators of people who are looking at a 2 to fire some people and. People step down it was an incredible controversy of the whole country to sort of shake it by it is referred to still remembered as the Saturday Night Massacre and so this is the stuff of great drama in our in books and movies and things like that and so when there's this discussion about the president trying to fire. Quite well we've got a guy who's a desk again brings back all those Nixon memories. And of course we know the end of the Nixon story not that many months after the Saturday Night Massacre he resigned basically at a point where if he didn't resign he would have been forced from office so anything that happens to trump even though I'm not suggesting that Trump is at the point of being forceful office or anything like that but anything that happens on this sort of trajectory. That anybody with a very very thinking of those days. And of course we are running the risk when we talk about Robert Mueller of losing sight of the real story which is about the charm administration's or you know pretty the presidency the Trump organizations collusion or not with Russia that's what Robert Mueller is tasked to investigate and this whole thing about whether it was going to fire him or not is somewhat of a distraction from that can we get back on to the topic then of Russia where are we at with that were we at with the investigation or did Trump and his campaign team collude with the Russians or not well if I could tell you that. You know if I want to talk to you I thought I detected a big story right now that's very poor. I love you and I have the course take the time to talk to you but if you if I knew for sure if I could you know put those final pieces you know the heck of a heck of a tale to tell. Every day Russian It's a different. Look here's what we know right now and there's been a lot of revelations there's a lot of information this is a very politicized discussion in the States there are people who are absolutely certain that the Russians may trump president and these include some members of Congress you know some very prominent figures there are also people who pretty much dismissed the whole thing is that they had a seat and so there's a lot of political division but here's what we do know there's a tremendous amount of evidence that the Russians were trying to do something and our intelligence agencies have said that many of our retired intelligence people said it publicly there is a car or a sewer pretty stalwart for folks who stepped up and said this is true it looks like to me and and where it gets interesting is that late in the campaign trail campaign made some choices that were surprising it decided to go and campaign in some unexpected places at the same time we've had double ations recently that Russian entities a new you know whether it's the Packers or Oliver Ser earlier talk about that somehow the Russians also focused attention on some of those places. And social media campaigns and things like that and so you start to get to this question is this is real kind of heart of the matter Question Was there somebody go to that high up in the Trump campaign who knew Trump campaign strategy and at the same time was talking to the Russians. And saying Yeah I was were going to do eccentric if that was happening. And if by some chance it were all doing well in the campaign 2 numbers lead from being perhaps even to Mr Trump himself then you've got really got quite a controversy here whether you know where the legalities of in that so that you 'd are look at but that's a clue that's a part of what people seem to think this is the situation looking at the other thing that it's really important is Donald Trump and his family's financial ties financial connections to institutions that perhaps the Russians also had connections to it's not always a direct thing that so that it goes through a bank in Europe or of a gun Cyprus things of that nature and and I think at the end of the day what Robert Moore will come up with and again we don't notice at all but I think what he's going to come up with is quite a lot of drawing information about connections and ties then I don't necessarily know the revenue is going to pull every string in Tyree thing up and and and make the final case that's what people are really waiting for at this point but here's what we do know. He's clearly talked to a lot of people who surround ourselves a lot of people who are tied to some of those russian balls at least in stories and there is now also vacation where he wants to talk to Donald Trump himself so awful Corio all 'd over here on the oval office and you know it's probably getting relatively close to a conclusion. Soon a lot of attention surrounding it all John thank you very much Dhubri John Nichols the political writer for The Nation magazine The Times coming up to 26 minutes should see lazy just love headlines. This is b.b.c. 5 Ok night with the boy atmosphere and I was working the news on the back pages of The Daily Express now with it started it's a Richard Lewis the Sanchez of the fly. By just you know I had one for the f.a. Cup last night and what a pleasure is talking about fashion playing football for the stop start story of those to match and I did eventually completed it by this time the last died and he had a very good day here. So the goal is you know I think I thought I was for a week of the 72nd minute where Number 7. By Ben Probst and then a better shot over an hour or so a lot of pressure a shouter a lot of money a lot of money in the bank so far have tried but it levered Ok but especially fairly the prices start it then at 11 and you look good if it's a day then yes I think you know it's the very place. You also lose. Have dinner here which is you know after the last sort of few matches he played for the last 2 in which he looks miserable This is generally looks as if Hughes enjoying his will but that's a very good point yes when you think that he also gave them out some time and you saw him frustrated is that it holds his look at the players and why did this pass that is why is that Bosco that white it was frustrating character and I think if you look at her from her for a long time what I'm amazed I think still has a central And I just you know I think of the course it was so easy to match the city but if they did it. In a way by Jove I don't read outside a new contract and a 5 year contract really voting for the future. And they compare it could be a very of those this is the way it is the same last night by I know for obvious reasons you and your colleagues will focus on the footballing reasons or the footballing aspects of this 1st debut by Lexus and she has mentioned she nice it or be it in the f.a. Cup but those of us who would watch him from the sidelines and we are watching this all body language and everything I notice when he was subbed not only did Joe's a greet him and congratulate him but every single member of the matches United team in that dugout came to touch fish with him or whatever him on the almost as if to say well you know and we know what the drama of his exit from Austin was all about is you know the chasm between him and the other plays on him was they made they went out of their way to show him that he was loved. A very good point as a very very good word as well I think I think 1st if it were a lot of the source of his 1st article I read it was. But yeah I think I think he wants to be loved probably somewhere and I think he want to go it want to go somewhere where he could love the place. But of course come Wednesday night at Wembley be very interesting to see Majesty United that will be. A different story I think that because like I said you just sold that one out you know. It was a bit back and he was. Standing room only well if you can stand out as I think that's true I think I think also I was reading in the in the wake I think we had our piper that Wednesday and I think will be by just you know at his 50th match since the war where the author of the law that says quote allow monetized it's a competitive national Webley which is really says something or so such as all eyes will be on Sanchez It could be some occasion that I think is because we have about 50 competitive benches where before the season is out you see my replays of. The use of it is not a good you go as an f.a. Cup preview in the papers a man says he was his Cardiff in Southampton this is what while you're concentrating a lot of those 2 games well kind of as it is a real taste of on tomorrow confidence for one of the childish about the new water by city Well they want to follow already I want this it is for trophies but what's very interesting is that no World's Untold upset Guardiola because of the previous round. Cardiff played man so it was a draw the reply was at Mansfield filled filled mill Cardiff I think wanted for one but in the styles was Pep Guardiola and his wife has to watch their next opponent and wallet has been sharing prices on him to let his clothes off because he says he's got hundreds of stuff he came to water to save I thought well done to him. The case as I knew goes take your hat off to that to actually the picture we have of the pipers Gaudio his wife wearing caps so there was and hats but it's interesting just shows it has to date. Color matching the what he did when he came to England Gaudio have a field mailed them as foreplay but now he's been there and he's preparing for what be a tricky back to Congress card it's more. Maybe yourselves a good idea to take your game where you can get it where most of the boys out of interest what is it is a big I suppose size of it's it's just not handsome but the whites see what foods are going to matter of course with grass you know take it over this way says 1st guy and 1st I'm in charge of democracy over last last Sunday but I sat had so I managed by Argentinian the Richard pelligrino And of course one of his heroes was Ricky via the star of talk of fibers Not that I see what I come up with about a city that gold money when you can never forget that moment. Twisting and setting the bit in the box by the idea and f.a. Cup legend and agree to us I was Argentina I read over the slogan about winning the oldest competition in the world he talks a lot of a lot of course they lay as the references he has to every child hood and he would like he would like to know why this competition because it made Sebastian for what he was young and who's new to the SPOG. Well. How you do not want to live well very much with prize for the new pope because it's a terrific upside I hope the last for our new poll it will be Leeds a real old fashioned cup tie what a great guy that looks and Spurs got to be bold the saving. Time last year and you people really struggling to look like that I could end up going out of the League of a muckle fleetest the realms of a Grey Cup run like him lots of money money discards awards and you try to grab they were talking about. If the miracle happened are they based on the 5th round well with the t.v. Money and everything else that comes with it. Such as a new poll of a very abates and I reckon they go for it as. Rascals what with the i Cup as well I would think the share particularly if the people I always like it's the semifinals of auto pay to Wembley. So that a big write ups are looking forward to the thing that was like. This is a plane is a federal man in the plane is one of. This incredible Roger Federer has his 20th Krentz size is remarkable player there a challenge tomorrow in Melbourne and he has to spin Supremes this told about his 36 is South South Korea opponents a higher chance that's to get out with an injury. In the 2nd set yesterday but he was 61 and 52 down and to be honest. He says to people I have a good Federer yesterday Federer was still what he has displayed at the Supreme. He is remarkable the older he gets the better is getting the pace hits the ball hits it so often all of it bounces up to the livery he types it in strike is remarkable and he's just beatable and even I should it will be a very tough a part of you just can't see federalism Are you sure food was an easy. But he 63636. He's coming right this is the scene you started this was once was it's it's incredible I went to Wimbledon Austria for a very long time and it was just. It was just remarkable the path that Powell puts into the bow. But the lack of effort when you're watching looks as if he's just guy from town in the fog that are seen him on sensical will day and. Night look really Fredricka doesn't seem to be moving that you think well but he covers the ground the covers grow very well I suppose well it must be annoying for the younger players to see. The geriatric playing against them I'm beating them every single one of those your intent is to misdirect Well I think you're right because when you look at this tournament I was not in the area of course Djokovic has been knocked out and I doubt. It had cut it from a show with injury as well but that's still Federer and I think has if you just wonder would ever come to an end well where does intensity come from if it's her but it's separation away and it's remarkable you think it is a saw a lot of winning. Playing so beautifully and that is a pleasure. Without question in my view one of the top 3 quite a sport of all time because of this level he's been tied throughout his whole career and on the day of just 6 top b.b.c. Presenters decided to reduce their pay to bring it empowered see with the pay of this email equivalence I see that you're imposing on something of a revolution of the dog's world or yes a very very interesting story broke last. Night that they had pressured us corporation of the pay to say half the world have just any palli the story so much about razzmatazz and when the players come on they are accompanied by all girls. Just just just. Had for the whole occasion but in this changing world about. All the girls have been been dropped that's been discussed with t.v. Companies and the pay to see it outside of the major t.v. Event. They won't be happening and the 1st one of those was also last night on terrestrial tell it on threats or television in fact that the unit at most has been in the water in caves where Rob cross the Welsh Abbey was played for the 1st time he won the title but suppliers just came out with their music but on their own. Already a petition has been started on the on Twitter by fans calling to come back and the players themselves been speaking about it but these are changing times and. The pace the paty say a call a comment that I can understand why let's go with that as you say the t.v. Companies go on about and times I want to send a message of disparity across its whole and not because they would like doled out you know they were censored and I don't mean to be cruel but dolly birds in the game that's how they were regarded was not essentially the problem not that they were accompanying people yesterday but they were they would clam down whatever that's that let's let's put put a good while I think yes it was just the image of the game but I think I think the t.v. Companies think a lot of this is on early evenings it could make family viewing and and it doesn't really go go we were family viewing is all about because darts now has become so popular that that's the crazy thing because I think years ago when it wasn't this level of popularity it would have any difference but now it has had more impact than the format imagines because suddenly people talk about it and I watch it and yeah I think that the hold up has all Congo's with the players has been part of darts but in the future I think it's always a pasta comes out of Michael van Gerwen to talk about China changing the way of things but it's last year and it's happened I think much quicker than I ever expected one of the again to do bow books where you have. And again and I mean to being treated only been. You know carrying the cards for the rounds and so on well absolutely obvious bias is that that doesn't come in as well because it's a cover severs have to have take the pics while the things. Where where they're thinking about the watershed times obviously the big 5 and saving to take place later and even break late in f one as well I think our rights say that. We put it last and to have it up past grab the latest stats stand next to the car before each race. Or that train so you know this could be a big step it could be a big step in other sports might have to follow Richard Luce of the Express there now I apologize in advance to our listener who sent a text to me saying I am sick to death of the word Trump. Can we remember the Great Britain as a state that a student when it's I nd legs and food for Europe again and again and again and again I'm apologizing but it's actually desiccant through knowing the program of the word should suppose that should apologize there were any mention Charmin 3 stories does get and you're about to introduce the name jump again into this conversation with the y o o o you want to try try not mentioning it may begin column by some other name. Very good funny yet only sad news by any other name yeah. So your Liang with which news story around the word Trump you know that. We have our exclusive story about how has finished it is too little Obama has kept and and then he moved on to give a huge tax cut and he is the 'd brownies infrastructure of the monster Thanks. Well you know one of the builders wants to fix the roads and bridges and our stuff around the country and we find out that they are trying to do it easily and without much trouble by. Cutting down a lot of environmental regulations that have to be gone through and their reasoning is very decided to make it easier they want to cut down the duplication because there are certain things out to be cleared by 2 or 3 departments and this is something which is hoping to get at least 200000000000 immediately to the dark art stuff all over the country including pipelines I mean which is a really dangerous thing you cannot go without environmental clarions before building pipelines running through national or old. Residential highly populated sent here they're trying to. Speed up the tang a maybe maybe the thinking is that Ok we need to add some really big buildings and roads and bridges to show by the time your answer for reelection that's our main story but the thing is Washington are still talking about what story broke about 24 hours ago that said that in June was actually are all his White House counsel to fire the special counsel has been in to investigate it there. Are collusion allegations and it seems his White House counsel said he tried to resist and then when it went on he actually said if if you continue it I'm going to resign and that's the only thing you're going to get out of it and then Trump backed off and of course everybody says the very points that he didn't fire him is good enough so we should worry about it but Democrats in Congress and even many Republicans who are moderate and don't like Mary much. They say it kind of confirms our Laurie that you he would go ahead and try to fire the special counsel because they're already been saying there is partial and yes conflict of interest and stuff like that and this so we have to do something to protect the special counsel so the one where they want to do it does. Come out of the legislation which is going to make it difficult for the 5 like they have a panel of 3 federal judges who have to clear it before he can fire a moment this thing has not been done before because the only thing I've been talks about at the last Nixon the. Special investigator investigating begin much of what they call a Saturday night massacre of a lot of people absolutely banned we're not expecting any such thing to happen because Trump has in the past few months at least has been saying that he is cooperating and the all white house legal team is saying they're cooperating and yesterday this sent a list of more than 20 people from the White House were questioned by him and more than 25 people from the campaign that Trump presidential campaign and were interviewed by the special counsel and they're talking about more than a 1000000 pages of documents from the campaign the astronauts up there have been cooperating and they have been trying to rush over things so that they hope the whole thing will get all soon but their talk is not ending because we keep coming back to him wanting to get rid of all the people involved in the investigation. Oh wow By the way James is Texas now and says I love Trump he's leading the way in telling the world what he actually feels and it's a real thing for a politician to do but he's putting America of course we know that the only thing is he putting America 1st in terms of the economy which is grown is it down to Mr Drum the u.s. Economy has grown by 2 points. It's research the law school is not perhaps not. Well you got grammar you ask him he has been talking about for 5 or even 6 percent growth and doesn't know any of that he was expecting and also the last quarter is a time when people go and buy a lot of stuff for Christmas and of the heavy consumer expense and and at that time if you had only about 2.6 percent and that brother holy you know down to 2.2 percent growth it was slightly bigger than the year before when it 1st 2 point one percent and the Obama's So it doesn't make it very dramatic. Still the big problem is if it doesn't increase the Oh it is good it's our bad it on the problemas trump all this uses all of bombastic language to describe what it wants to you know letting us go to be more beautiful and the best and the most mass than things like that then you'll see you're not going anywhere near it more most of the economists are saying even next year it may be tough to touch 3 percent his talking about 6 percent with our His huge tax that which has made all the corporations very happy because the stock market is doing very well but still that is not going to help the economy in everything because maybe some guys get rich and they reinvest in their business or go and buy some more starts and then make the stock market get even bigger but that doesn't really reflect on the go overall economy I guess could you tell us who Steve Wynn is briefly and why he has to most do better as the guy who built the big casino the last very good that he's a big Republican contributor and he's closer trump than he is been a big fundraiser for the Republican National Committee and while the Wall Street Journal came out of the story today saying that he has been accused of misbehaving with women working in his the sinners the problemas when her reliance team the Hollywood producers accuse. He was a very big Democratic contributor and it was Republicans Democrats to give up the money they got from my lifetime now the Democrats are saying the Republicans should dump when because when was the last to be in Mara Lago in France club celebrating his one year in office you were trying to have to say back in Washington because she had asked so he's been very active a trump in the given millions of dollars Republicans the last 5 or 6 years and but Republicans are not even saying anything about it because he's big he's. Fundraising chairman for the Republican National Committee and then they have to somehow come up and talk about. What we're concluding is that both of the main parties in the United States stained by money from us from people with dubious. I with allegations of dubious behavior towards women against me yes yes you have a Clinton from the women. Who was accused of misbehaving with women that we have from the Republican Party was that he was a thanks so it's not it's a random bodies but we have had about 6 or 7 members of Congress about to resign or decide not to that again so that's all it's in both parties and Steve Wynn won't be presenting any awards at the Oscars obviously. Not well that's one of the money he's from Vegas of course being invaded making like that. Apparently what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas stays in Vegas this summer I haven't given all the way to my life except this time it's not thank you very thank you. The president does a good theory Nerina preterm of The Washington Post will open up the phone lines now from Will football photo image Europe in South America we'd love you to join us on our way to wait for our 9693 and the best story this c.b.c. 5 the.
