Sideline East coming up at 6 way crossing the channel for a special breakfast show from the Ryder Cup in France right now 5 Live boxing's Mike Castello and Steve Bunce get reaction to Anthony. His dramatic win last weekend this was recorded straight after his victory I have an example that can say please don't call or text. 5. So from ringside at Wembley Stadium in the immediate aftermath of Anthony Joshua's win against Alexander pervade Kane is 5 Live boxing with Costello on buns and to just show with for me the most impressive performance of his career it ended after one minute and 59 seconds of round number 7 after brave brave resistance from Amazon if they can stop for the 1st time in his 36 point career Paulie Malignaggi commentating for television closer to ringside turned to me a mouth the word wow and I think that's a sentiment Steve that will be echoed around this great stadium it was certainly a while Finnish it was a sensational few punches that dropped to drop a victim for the 1st time and then a cracking couple of shots to send in tumbling into the referee and down for the end when it came a 2nd short of 2 minutes I'm not sure it was such a great performance though I thought there were moments there when he was trying to work out what he was meant to do what he was thinking to do and I think he had that tid and did one of 2 things one that he hadn't thought about that lower left hand for instance where that come from unless they would do not really behind closed doors to try and entice particular So to commit and it worked I think it was awful it was a good performance I didn't really do in the church I didn't do anything wrong but when you're heavy white and you can do what he does like he does and finish them and he's an instinctive nasty seriously heavy handed finisher it was a shocking chilling ended I would also for you here is that because I really do think it was an impressive performance are like the way that he was reading what the victim was doing are no perfect he got through but that's because he came to win and he's got that tape agree on. I thought the way to your sure dealt with him was really impressive now I had Joshua leading by 4 rounds to 2 going into around 7 Wrong Lewis at the Times just came across and said he had it 33 had you have I had it 33 as well but there were a couple of rounds that could have gone either way so you know it wasn't a strong 33 but I thought perfect in certainly deserved a few a few of those rounds over slightly just slightly let down of course it was a. Pull that can generally find he's free to move his body forward he was lunging with what with wild left hooks there which which are at the same time easy for Joshua to move away from I think I would look back on that tactic for those 2 or 3 rounds with that low hand I think we'll look back on those in wonderment but he did say off the words that they decided clearly him and McCracken his trainer at that event came was strong around the head but weak to the body so they tried to break him down downstairs 1st of all they were fir and left jabs to the border they were thrown a few shots of the body but I think he's oh I think he's over well he's over exaggerating the power of his body work in the power of his body shots in all fairness what he was he was covered in some some right hands a sort of crude chop underneath the left elbow and they were having some effect but I think what has that was the effect when you just you know what has the effect is a well timed right and that's if left anywhere above the that's that's the problem line here you know we work outside and it was shots here we can work on picture what works is that correct you know. 18 and a half stone has seen you and muscle behind but it was a brilliant right hand turn the so I know he's by was in it without question right and I was a little slipped over the shoulder a pivot can your right timing brilliantly placed and he was looking for that a couple of times so clearly he was getting the measure of today in the earlier rounds but prevent Qin unlike Carlos tack on light shows have talked. Joshua's last 2 opponents came here to win yeah we said he would we don't we said he has to push Joshua he has to keep for our insurance and he has the money Joshua fight a really good fight he has to make Joshua show some caution show a little bit of fear show a very intact exchange in Texas which he did and let's get it right before too different for us there was a fight a 23 minute house if you like to put it King delivered exactly what we said he would do and if you remember we weren't necessarily out of step with all of our colleagues and friends and certainly the pull of the books in the books in public in general but we've we pushed and banged on for a long time about how potentially dangerous this fire was and he got caught with some cracking show left hooks some cracking wrong hands several wrong hands and that's what others think he was her own thinking was stunned and that shows something one I think the quality of the opponent event came what he's done throughout his career that one defeat the only blemish on his record coming in here tonight against Vladimir Klitschko 5 years ago all that he done in the amateur ranks that pedigree all around for me the way that he was beaten even if it was close leading up to that point makes it for me the most impressive performance of Joshua's career and I know you hear I wasn't here when he beat played him a Klitschko 18 months ago not quite 18 months ago but I think this was a better performance but it was a better thought it was that when a that little bit of what I what it said so what I did the feeling I did get even in rounds that you made even in rounds that the victim shades even in even in no even knows about what you did get was an overall sense that I was in charge and he was not playing but he was certainly moving around we did this that's why using the left hand in different ways for being different type of right hands so in that sense it was control. It was precise you know if you don't waste anything there was just a couple of times when I wasn't quite sure what he feels about to do I would push away what state he was in what he was going to do it was obvious hands out really tight really I mean if you ever see movies hands that hands up just going to break instead you can hear the cheers over the ball as he goes down and you know spectators as a guys than the town Oh well somebody said man he's one colossal star I mean you know other thing I don't think it was a bad films I let a pocketful once not a great fight to watch I like that that was in my opinion a controlled fight and if I watched the guy in the softer then I was doing a corporate gig but I can still and he didn't provide a threat he didn't provide a fair bit of the thing the thing was more like. What could he have provided for Joshua was so dominant that I am Parker is not as good as perfect in such a pose a way to be a fuel to your Give a kid it's a chore if it find a brilliant father a dangerous father all around and said that I particularly good at predicting tried everything there was nothing more that you could have tried he tried to explain in closing throwing for punches he tried showing him the left and moving to the right and from the right hand he fro Detroit because lunging left hooks and then in the end he got taken out as good as clean if you look at it that way and he got taken out because he was so desperate to win this fight when he said he would There was a lovely moment stave at the start of the 6th round when I just tapped Klaus you know and it was. From both sides an emotion that was just so natural and I thought it just summed up the ton of respect that was flowing either way you know my touch gloves at the end of the 5th as well so I touch close at the end of the thief and I've been to quite a good round the theater and then and then I make such clubs at the start of 6 despite and George sure I'm self he disproves this kind of tacky myth that you need to for us you need some swearing you need to Mag revelation I wrote in independent This week they shook hands and they patted each other on the shoulder at the press conference and Iraq had day nor had they sworn each other pushed each other then it would have been $90000.00 in here tonight and not whatever it was a figure by the way that we are yet to decide on. The one Mr One mystery from this night Point B. What we've spent so long as a pin inside a very wet Wembley evening wants no doubt for it to Spirit Steve is the atmosphere we spoke about how the way in which fairly low even for a Joshua weigh in here tonight the buzz when he made his way to the ring was absolutely earsplitting And of course with people filming it with their people film of course with the light shone on their phones and knows phone doesn't about you but I was watching for my plastic canopy you know what my plastic my plastic plastic ponchos one was a few more points and it was all blurred and it just looked magical just a magical OK so it wasn't $90000.00 and it's not them I've only been about $75.00 mine. Is lost these days that Joshua kid and we're back here on April the 13th and will it be the winner of the Vs tossin Fury which was announced earlier today in the opposite corner on that date in nearly 8 months time we'll get some more clues when we head down into the bowels of the stadium for the press. Conference. 5 I. Was going to ask you where that ranks in your career performances and which I would honestly say. Number 2 anyway Klitschko we've all due respect to him then I want to go to a kid he was a figure he's just the next the next best challenger and then I'm going to go. Do you think Anthony Joshua here tonight staring would have made. Me Yeah. Go fly over his. No I wouldn't it would have been the same fight every time a fight which got me to say if I could go easy very good look how good he doesn't get to break in and win the box there would be just behind him Jack he's a sensational flyer mad. There's no easy way a big picture of what it is. We could actually see thanks for your time in a very very thank you very much David Haye who held a version of the world heavyweight title not so long ago what do you make of all that I thought was a great fire for action packed from the very 1st round we saw a challenger talented Joshua who came in fantastic shape he came with a game plan implemented a game plan he roughed any Joshua up from the 1st bell hitting the combinations are busting his nose he we. Lost any questions he's never been asked before he was from punches in bunches he was trying to get close everyone Normally when a fight is trying to stay away from trying to stay away from the Alexander public in for the 1st time. Tried to impose himself on A.J. And rough him up and he did A.J. He did all great champions too and found a way to win he found a way to slow the pace down piki shots he was trying to be a full jab to the body throughout but would not put anything on the end of it and once he saw the opening months till that one that fraction of the chin he let that right hand go and the absolute detonated on public his chin and it was all over from the time I mean any time Facebook thanks so David Haye impressed one amount for most hated him and very impressed they were it just like he's been one of those announcements Mike that obviously when the world if I fell for it we had to fight with a son he wouldn't be a guy you choose a voluntary. We had to fight I was you lose the belt. There's always been that sort of is it or is it the wrong fight you know could we have got a wild Should we or tried and it was like he had an awful camera over for him you know injuries in this way he's had the flu don't tell you anything we detected that press conference it is pretty not me woke up this morning. I'm just saying to myself This is not meant to be comes in the changeroom put his glove on the thumbs and I'm good he's gone away every is gone 5 minutes before the local takes the gloves off gets the cops room. Ring saw it brings him back puts them on the and grave as they put the Avalon on rate hikes it I'm just thinking to myself. This is not meant to be entering he just a so relaxed but it looks like he's away with the fairies you know and then the 1st round comes out and then I'm thinking well it's a man and he when. He saw as if the size you got a lot of fire and perfect in would be many many heavyweights especially neck on form but it was the white he composed himself he's got a great chain Joshua he took far too many shots and took some big shots as well composed himself broke him up to the body and the finish was absolutely spectacular . It's hard to cite it was a great learning fight for him when he's the unified heavyweight world champion but that's what he's doing he's learned. You know he's at $22.00 fights look at the resume now T.K.O. Prevent him T.K.O. T.K.O. Tack and take out the Liam one T.K.O. Dominic Brazil points when unification against Parker who's on that off the $22.00 fights so at one stage you know that the fans are always you know they won't won't won't the rafter remember what he's doing and on the what pressure he's doing it so much pressure on tonight we won't rent here by the press conference and he went to me call my chief change in those you know we lost the wildfire so now it's like a job done you know great win great fight for him great crowd great numbers mandatory at the Y. Now we move on because it's just about winning is just that when you know it's a win in that style where it's back and forth back and forth and then close the show in that corner fashion it was perfect couldn't get any better and I know I watch it from a different stance to you and because of your involvement but I thought that was just about his most impressive performance because he was so composed because of the threat from a guy who I had to sign on attack on the pocket crimes who were really trying to win this church and I think sometimes guys can feel I just power early on and shot these and think I'm just going to sort of not take too many chances but perfect when only was looking to do was take chances every moment he so clever you know you see I'm doing little things pulling arms down touching down and then say not the right hand and not but I think we underestimate me how well schooled I just become it because sometimes you know you might think I was a little bit there was a lot Frank Bruno esque you know but I saw much more to his game now he's clever on the inside you saw him take his hands down in that far the unlucky by was effective moving to prevent his higher stepping the body great great chapter and then quite dumb Was he just he just set it out. You know he set out the finish. Except the finish and that is a sign of a great Fox I never panicked you know when I become in effect being so fast you know and he's punching variety I'm saying they think you know more and then in the end it was just so much relieved as he got from the 1st not and I mean he shouldn't maybe should continue but the 2nd not to actually he wasn't in his bad condition he was off the personal games trying to get up on the ropes and he was completely gone but he's a real roofer you know just waiting to change or was it might be a welcome back but I would want to fight him if I was a heavy. You know and I just think that was a brilliant brilliant performance from N.C. Gesture can you elaborate any on on those problems that a feature of this build up that weren't around you know every 5 seconds weighs an injury even a 12 a lot when we announced the Fiat ish to me back and it was always that once he commits to defy he's committed to the fight unless something goes worse in camp and it wasn't necessarily a problem in camp it was something that had to be dealt with by a straight chain and you know it was always a problem he didn't do to run in they wanted to do in camp to later on. Couple of Negroes inspiring elbows and stuff like that and in this way. It had a sad side of flu but the man flu if you know which he said he sounded like that press conference he said he was kind of nasally and when he was in the ring tonight you could see he was breathing and he was cold and he was like he's we've got you know a knot and 8 once he's committed to fire and once there's a 1000 people coming here it's a women pulling in. You know they're not things that necessarily should have pulled out when it is just not do you have to deal with them as far as you never really going to be 100 percent in a room with that little need or an injury or a cold or something. That that's why we're so place to get at the white because it was so much pressure and nothing was perfect apart from the side of a woman's But in terms of. The hope of omens and what it did for his career and what a difference boxing it was perfect because he for WANT TO best heavyweights in a world choke it. Broke him down a Nazi mass spectacular and it was announced today that they're on tape while the will face Tyson Fury which I suppose is exactly what you would have done the other way around but I was excited but when I announced the fire there was no type of venue this is the same thing that I criticize us for when we try to do to do so that's been down or down we've been told that one threat salute as I said in the ring in box in their players and their pompous and A.J. Is a serious serious player he's not an Instagram world champion he's a 4 belt world champion he's the best role model he spoke would ever have and he's $22.00 fight scene and he'll be around for a long long time and he will be everybody we spoke to Shelley Finkel this week and said We can't wait to December you know we want to know if we fight him while in the next month we know you've got a fight and if you lose you go rematch here again but if you win we can still do. It did on the basis of that so you know what. Will happen providing well to wins and I believe if I can see will win is that fire which we could have my tonight is twice the size of how it was but you always run the risk of losing. So tonight was at risk you know and this fight will get bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger. But what if someone loses a perfect a much indigestion on and he loses and the water fights up in smoke and everything goes well pear mugs that I never took the money 50000000 now for that far looks like the worst deal with the history of the spoke and by why they didn't even have 50000000 it's actually relevant anyway so now it's clever natural to. Write. Because we read it you could even put out a fear if you have an easy one to move on it's mark so now the pressure is on him so it's like. We're happy we're out of the fire you know we're OK and the pressure on that young man can imagine it to him and then. It's all I thought of and everyone you go grandfathers NASA from Russia who's just like. Outgoing god guy would want to do that and then you go everyone in the crowd $80000.00 people Guy How long do that they still run and that he's in there you know fluid up for advice in the Russian take him on the chin I mean you know it's. A space. Is it fairy very. He's a great individual because you just want to see him proof you know using then absolutely chuffed to bits chuffed to bits not a day to day from perfect he's got it down these dealt with the pressure that he's not to Alex on the pivot came something no one's ever done before and I'm not sure many could but he's down there and he's done an installment you know when he finished the apocryphal as well as the you know last week people says a bit boring he's got vulnerabilities everyone is off the 21 fires and what we amateur fights but. You know you're not going to get anyone more excited and you know going to get a better individual with a better personality a bad heart and a bad approach books and also that tonight he whoever appears in the opposite corner if it happens whether it's while they're all theory I'm. Sure these places began Well we did I see thousands and I we could have done a few more corruption $100.00 next on the wall out of like I said is an absolute moments the moments that are listening that's a bigger fight than just Reagan's fear and much much bigger World War I and I will I might even be in Britain now because not being funny you know you know our motto awesome fairy some Monch for what he's come back from to get in the ring is probably one of the most on into tiny and fighters to watch in the ring he's incredibly skillful he's incredibly hopeful open it pays not good to watch I'm sorry and when is he been a good fight never I mean maybe against coming in where he got changed and went down a note of what is not good to watch not box office is personalities box office is Instagram is box office but when he gets in the ring the last time he got booed at a ring. Is a talent he's a good man he's a very clever individual but Mom gordie stinks the ply 75 so for me whoa to Joshua is the biggest fire in well box in fury against WADA is a very good fight to determine who is the 2nd best heavyweight in the world and that's great for boxing by the way and we hope it happens or sometimes he's home a center of it. Since they what do you make of that and at the end he's the biggest fight in boxing might seem to be night or that I agree I agree and you know what Mike I look in my hand here that's a list of on the checkpoints been accumulated in the last few days and in a lottery hour and he's just take every single box every single thing he said there yeah yeah after we agree with anything he said my sense every single little tiny detail and point my sense is. Did you just give anything he said nothing and there's nothing was that he read and determined everything down. The little touches that he was. Trying to bring A.J. Is hands down everything he did it was an absolutely all the way for it was brilliant these events thanks just get more and more special than they I mean we were saying in fairness the way it was yesterday this was as big as anything he's done apart from Klitschko Well you know the 1st line I wrote in my pad tonight the moment the 1st bell sounded I wrote the tension is back and we haven't really felt the tension in tack I'm a love the little French guy but we knew it was going to win and we didn't really get that against Parker because you knew that Parker once he realized he couldn't win was quite comfortable coasted and you didn't get it at the open work out your call you this week you didn't get it headed when they shook hands and they were nice guys you can get away in because they're nice guys but boy oh boy you got it tonight and it wasn't the sing in the Dallas in the stars that were in the sky. Soon as they got in the ring you sensed it and soon as the bell when you really sensed it and it was great to have that back it was one of those bizarre fires of what I wanted to have been looking forward to it for a long time but I hadn't been madly excited until the 1st bell and there was just really intent from the pair of them and that was a tour was a pleasure it was an honor to be ringside tonight it was certainly a privilege here in the doors are slamming behind us is kind of how hard it was coming out to her past 1 in the morning so we're going to be hounded out of here very soon we had promised a couple of clips of Enzo counts Akki who passed away last week but. That will be in next week's podcast for sure we're leaving Wembley now with Anthony Joshua extending his unbeaten record to $22.00 fights $21.00 knockouts another special heady night here at Wembley Stadium that's it from 55 boxing with Costello on points. And Friday nor by the trend better than him and tomorrow in place so end of the story not play it is bigger than the club. If I'm happy with his work plays if I'm not happy with his work it doesn't play since he would account for some of the you didn't have to and I have to train him as always you didn't have the compensation for I don't get about that coming as what confrontation is not a confrontation there are really just a Jones a Marine you know say that he doesn't care about the cameras What was that it was not a little glitch on the audio there that that was Simon Stone asking the question which I thought was a really pertinent question that the timing of it is what's taken everybody by surprise this week because that could have been done very easily behind closed doors in the Manchester United manager chose not to handle it in that way. What you say is premeditated well it would seem that way I mean I'm only I'm only putting $2.00 and $2.00 together and joining the dots but if you've got a camera crew there and then you choose to do that while they're filming then that would lead me to believe that it's in the back of his mind at least but it not you I just think. You know sometimes I get what you say and I think we only say it because it's Joe's A but I think also. You have to take into consideration. Emotions you know of a manager of players. Could have been this basically what I'm saying they've been be in the game the day before the day after the training Paul may have turned up to training not late but like bang on time to the point where it was rushing to get himself ready run on to the pitch on time to train but kind of been one of the last players to run out to you know to train him I mean the 1st time Josie saw him and he may have just kind of the minute he saw him was thought. I'm not you can come over all happy and smiley I'm not in the mood for that actually and I'm not prepared to kind of fake it so what's the point you know that is a possible scenario is what I'm saying yes he could have ignored that maybe just within That's noir poor smile on his face running over all happy shaking have on Sundays a store in it and he's just done what he's done and I suppose I don't know part of me kind of go I know what you say and when you go you know I just heard about him saying what about the cameras but part of me kind of goes along with wishes a little bit they thought it was true to an extent and that if that was the norm Joe's A which hasn't been I suppose in the past which which you know makes you feel that it was premeditated and he's done it for the sake of the cameras which puts a different stare on the situation but. If he is telling the truth I don't mind that to an extent because if there's something to be said it doesn't matter the cameras are there or not it's just yes it's not a great it doesn't look great on the club them is what we're going to. Talking about but there's a big picture aspect here for me and it's kind of he said she said it's like a school playground isn't it the there's a lot on that side of the playground he telling the truth or is it the one on the outside of the playground telling the truth and who can gather the most support around them it's what you say when I was about 13 and it's a long long time ago but I've got vivid memories of it and that's that's what I get the impression when I see this now and I look at Manchester United as a football club the jury in the last 2 decades in England they've been the absolute bastion of doing things the right class they had one of the all time great figure heads of any football club anywhere in the world and so Alex Ferguson and they did the right thing more often than not maybe 9 times out of 10 they get it right I actually feel that the way this is being handled now whether it's right or whether it's wrong that it's a little bit embarrassing and demeaning to Manchester United you've got 2 massive egos here neither of which want to back down in any way shape or form and they seem quite happy to play this so pumper out in public and I just think it's getting to the point where it's almost become and laughable the people looking at it football supporters a sign how Manchester United really here now is just what they do do they just wash their dirty linen in public like this is this what they do and the flipside of that would be GA How many successful sides handle business like this I would say Norm I get we coming from. I tend to disagree slightly purely and simply because I think people have this kind of if they leak. View of mind just united under Fergie it was so perfect and everybody kind of did as they were told I think people tend to forget. You know the issues with Roy Keane that I was right at the very end here in the way I saw the way he left the club the next that I'm you know let me finish Oh you know there was the issues we've seen the issues with Becks time obviously the cancer in our situation I think what we need to cut what you need to understand is that Manchester United will always have the biggest names in world football at their football club so therefore the stories are always greater the role is bigger these things happen at most training grounds which might you know need it why I think why not try and put a lid on it deal with the in-house whatever the decision is get on with it whether Paul Pogba has got a future there or not deal with it and then let us know what you decided why do you think there is this desire it would appear to play this story out in public why why does everybody want to I mean we want to talk about it in the media because we know we're going to get answers we know we're going to be given sound bite we are we know we're going to get drama why is a football club but they're not saying let's just shut the doors keep this in here let's just deal with it find a solution and then we'll let everybody know Fletcher is so much more difficult in today's era to do that it would actually go all the time on a back in a day you would have you know when you talk about Ferguson and how used to run things and yes. You know I mention in this situation Paul Pogba definitely wouldn't be playing which he seemed is going to be but at the same time there was no social media around those times any interviews that were done were run through the club which was I suppose the only form of social media that football players had so now you know you have a situation with Paul Pogba who. It was very social media savvy understands the power that he has his fingertips is also not happy at the football club I think he's quite clear with the interviews that he has done and what he has said and feels that he can say which is the strange thing. I think to compare. You know old Manchester United and say no this club is a club that has always kind of. Been so perfect in the way that they've managed these types of scenarios is pretty false really and although the sound of a damn sight better than this I don't know why I think the way in terms of the way that Figgy dealt with the players individually by selling them or putting them on the sidelines he had numerous run ins with Rooney when he wasn't happy and bench and I would make a statement say Wayne I don't care who you are you're sitting on the bench for the next 2 free games and Wayne would deal with that was dealt with quickly if an incident flared up like that it would be dealt with and it would be dealt with in a positive way one way or the other EVER this if you mention the Roy Keane situation or left the football club the next day after the flare up with with Sir Alex Ferguson it was dealt with Rooney signed a new contract and didn't really raise the situation again he came back and he played in the school goals they've been situations in the past but why why feed it why why keep pouring oil on the flames why not just deal with it in a way where suits everybody can you show me a poor pople quiet you don't hear the manager quite well they go you can't contain them because like I said they often used to talk. Now off all Greater do you when you was no social media players couldn't just randomly ring into the wouldn't just run the money ring into radio stations or ring a newspaper and go or can I do this kind of do that that's why you would hear most of the stories come out on international duty because they feel that freedom to go out you're going to say I want to say now and I'm not within the restraints of the Manchester United do you think that if they sat down as a football club and they said how do we want this situation handled do you think it would be this way. I don't think any football club would say that want to handle this way at all obviously no it's not great I'm not kind of promoting it and saying it's good in any way shape or form I'm just trying to explain this is a different world that we're living in a different era of sports that I'm not saying they say oh well say I'm not seeing this anywhere but easy is you know again this is a different bunch as United right the Manchester United Ferguson money and I'm not even when anywhere else anywhere else look name any big club in the world at the minute that might win something Liverpool Manchester City boss alone a Real Madrid by Munich eventis I don't see things handled like this there ever. And we used to say that some of these clubs on the continent were more dysfunctional than I was in terms in terms of what you've got all you've got isn't an unhappy player they'd have to stop talking about it who doesn't the manager in the play every day there's another line every day there's another story and every day you're dealing with 2 very strong characters here very very strong characters so I think you have to understand that that whole kind of I'm sure the respect is there between them both but they both want it their way they both want the whole you know Paul wants to play football a certain way which he feels he's not getting it off the back of a world which he feels is really put the wind in his sails to do and say where every wants to to say and it's up to the club you know to handle that situation where I think. The breakdown happens is it seems no matter what Paul Pogba sais he still plays now that for me is where the problem lies with Marina Oh I'm Manchester United because they should if they want to control I want to contain it they need to lay down a marker to their biggest players at times to say that's not how you behave as much as you want to play under not doing that Steve said well just give us a quick overview state before we talk about Liverpool against Chelsea as to where you stand on this whole pope merino United situation listen it's becoming embarrassing now you look at Manchester United as a football club as a brand their global. I think what you said earlier. It's always going to be expose more because how big they are and how big Popery is it needs to stop you notice the talking down the pitch it needs to be quiet and down is too much stuff leaking out of the dressing room. And ultimately the couple's goal but the manager who made the cup has to back the manager in Him situation so the big one on paper this weekend is that the tee time kick off Liverpool travelling to Chelsea days after losing some of its shows Sorry side at Anfield which I kind of presume we can put a line through it's a care about much not so much on the table it will be a different state of affairs a 100 percent 100 percent. But I have to say I was really impressed by Chelsea in the way you know you don't get me wrong it was yes it's the Kerobokan up and you know 2 teams Fouda different sides but. Josephine you know even people might look at it as a 2nd string side to midfield dominate large portions of the game just to play the way they did on field is not easy. What you face but I have to say you know without you know if I mean a man is solid and in full flow sorry Manny in full flow. It's completely different situation but I also feel that I don't think they've reached up to the levels that they were hitting last year and that's a concern for me I don't know whether they're being more selfish or whether all these awards that Mossad has been nominated for that money in for me know and asked him to go on a minute about me but there's something just not clicking that they're not there topside Don't get me wrong it's going to be a tough afternoon for Josie defense but it's a great scenario for them because I agree with you I don't think they're quite Binet last season standard but they still won every game in the only league at this point and if they win the match that will be the best ever start to a league season that they've ever had even those great Liverpool sides of the seventy's and eighty's that that won the league season upon season let's let's take Chelsea 1st there's a great quote this week from New York and clumpy said in terms of playing style it's the biggest change I've ever seen in such a short space of time wow the style is completely different what a marriage areas the sorry impact has clearly been felt by you're going clock that's that's that's lofty praise from one manager to another Steve isn't it yeah I mean you look at Liverpool and you just said they're about the standard they've set and the marker that they've set so far this season what sorry is done in a short space of time what you consider now over the summer he come in light of he will contain leaving in him coming in the transfer to park all that was going on. And then the short space of time that he's had in preseason to work with him players and to get him off. The mark but the way they've they've started is full credit to him for credit he's not been there launching I don't think 2 and a half months I think it is you know the only kind of just the kind of go against the grain slightly is not like you're you know I can tell you was so kind of pragmatic and defensive and played not almost a defensive Actually it was a he played more of a counterattack in style of football almost without seeming like he did play that way because they scored so many goals and they and they attacked you know a lot of the time they would soak up so much pressure they would soak it up soak it up and it be banging it through or. You know in changing the formation and you know get in a Suppose a few key players in I suppose they're passing the ball more but I think when you go from one manager who plays more like more defensive anyway to a really attacking forward minded forward thinking manager you're going to get that change I think pretty naturally when you got good players. What you got Ben but a lot of people will forget about the special the Chelsea side is this isn't some of the what used to so you go back to when Joe to come back to the club and then when that when they won the league of he left the season after hitting come in they done well under him straight away he left you know come in they done well under him straight away he left saris come in so they're used to that for managers in the last 56 years since they had them play is there adapt very quickly to all different styles of play managers there one thing that is a tangible change and this has been reported a lot most stories that you read about Chelsea in the sorry include lines about this that is that he is kind of loosened a lot that it was oppressive maybe might be too strong a word but it was that kind of feeling towards the end of the guns and all of a sudden now the players haven't got a state that's a motel the night before a home match you know there's cake and ice cream on occasions in the canteen or maybe on the coach on the way back it's almost like he's treating them a bit more like adults and hampering them a little bit and they're responding well to it which can often lead to a really positive impact when you have had a manager Steve who's been the other way in and very strict in what he expects you to do that's respect isn't it there goes both ways and for a manager if you give responsibility and respect to that person room and they take you on board and you know that you've got them on site for a manager if a dressing room polices itself that is key you know that is key to your having a worry about if there's any rumblings that go on the dressing room and you can just open the door new Say boys usually say out and then you come to me after and let me know that's brilliant Let's bring in a fellow who's played in so many of these games there was a time when they seem to play each other 6 or 7 times a season it was always Liverpool against Chelsea at the back end of cup competitions whether it's Champions League saw F.A. Cups League Cups they were always neck and neck in the Premier League as well as bring in Steven Gerrard I would have thought you got very good thank you would just we just before we get to Liverpool we're just having a little look at. Chelsea and the difference that merits the oh sorry is made to them in such a short space of time in the quote that you're going clubbing given this weight very the same what a manager is that he is the biggest change that he's seen in such a short space of time Fritz even the Premier League has a completely different change of style and the way we play it seems on the eye that it's going to be a bit more from force and forward thinking more attacking and I'm sure Chelsea fans plays it out after obviously the style of console which was a factor. I think if you define You want to watch you know talking proposed Besley a home run and that's what studies try to bring in you know in games that you played in this fixture obviously in any Most games in the Premier League that makes the midfield is absolutely key and it was the carabao cup that you know Chelsea I thought really dominated the mid to area do you think you know unclog on a knows is best midfield 3 did you see as a concern this weekend that they may get dominated in the area again. It is possible and I gaily had intended to be in still in Poland 70 was back in our day obviously the likes of Michael Olea Rampart you know if you win on it didn't match them to say overpower you and dominate the game and I think it's very similar now I think he definitely knows is best midfield I think Milne is causing him a lot of problems for his life and I think he may be expected excited to find the street equatable. Have taken a bit of time to get up to speed but I think it's going to be a fascinating question. And I'm very interested to see which made it feel free to go there whether we started having the same because I know we want to protect them on the back of a book I think it's a game he could apply. It's a fascinating point the you raise about Milnes because I think at the moment if you take Liverpool's best midfield threat he's going to be in it regardless of the opposition isn't it because I think one consequence for me is that the 1st name on the team sheet I think. For me with Liverpool that the 2 May just sign is not a going to make a massive difference for Liverpool incentives success will follow the keeper Van Dyke said fun by coming at a pharmacy very defensively and also it looks like the key is going to be a big player as well and now we make the mistake again flashback book watching live from the outside feel like. The keeper brings more composure more trust and Desimone can with the keeper in the on the back 4 and I think in time and I think that will be the big difference we look a little weak article called The front 3 I think about midfield back then goals will vote for me it's all been about trying to implement defensively and I think the very close do you think that will do give them the consistency over the course of the season to mount a really really serious title challenge this season because you've got to you've got to be solid Haven't you got the look of the team now stays in that can the can do this for 9 and a half months week after week after week and and State Child Services latch on the still very long privy ball there's no doubt about it for me looking in and I think we've landed on the goalkeeper honestly trying to get better and better each game Robinson is solid. You've got Gomes and huge pushing laws and values in the team now Levin's got to try and fight for the place but I think competition not a little make it go my style is to play well but I just think Liverpool's key sign for me was Van Dyke I think it was so well for them in both boxers and he brings a canvas is a machine like a Rolls Royce and I think if they keep Arkan settlin and bring one vandalizes I think about a hell of a chance this year you mentioned Liverpool always School score goals the bat. When I look at of course from 3 the minute. I know that you do sense that something maybe is off to obviously Sollars a form a little bit you know more name for me you know you know who will give you exactly what they give you most weeks but I just feel that. I don't know what is a couple of things around is anything that you can see as to why you think I think you know Salazar the season of his life you know that let's all get it right he was on fire. I don't think anyone expects him to phone be as prolific as not I don't think he'll be as precise as Apple you'll still get big numbers Monday I'll still get numbers on for me the key to it all is for me you know he's you know he. Doesn't get as much attention as the other table from me the case the most important thing I think we've we've also got the sjambok of knowledge A.J. So for example if we were to lose a solid autumn on a dollar big impact but I think now with storage you know us to be in good shape the scoring go back and a very very well and we haven't mentioned obviously Reagan so I had a 4 card yesterday the pills that Sarkozy it's not in bad shape Well all I thought is that this one that if you'd sense that he kind of. Selfishness within that play because I thought against the should to be specified no quite easy with the chances that they had of us felt that there was a bit of a reluctance to make the right posture the right time which they were just so you know a perfect last you know another it's a penalty state and not game I agree and I noticed that in the game it was maybe a bit of ego kicking ball if you judge them over maybe the 6 or 7 games I have or it doesn't supply them but I kept talking all of the games and I don't see that in any of the players I don't see that we all want to be not wanting just the headline I want to be the main man I think the most impressive thing about the markets today is they do help who to them and I'm certainly. Even actually genius when you watch him close of a home all. You know he's he's just as interested in section one of the Chicago which is great for the officer already said to me Stephen that when he went off with the Liverpool team to play the bats in Australia at the end of the season before last that's what. Really appreciated want to play with the Meno was but being on the pitch with him yeah I think when you close ups and you see the size you see a shape strong like you know the largest or the cliche case like you sort of get a feel of a play when you close your string with someone and you play with someone that are not wavelengths and every time receive the ball he was always available your. Time . Joe always looking for the players he's not one of the site in a play that a few that are just interested in themselves more score goals or I'm not saying it's a problem for strike. To be a bit selfish at times for. Absolute dream to play but. I remember our chat with Claude assessment the money and he said to me that he tried to sign him up a few times Jordan his career and he was like the key to how we want supply so he says Mom It seems she's a clock on now that our normal watch them so all appreciate. Maybe really appreciate your time thank you so much for talking sometimes it's all just my. Talking about. This weekend. This is the. Next. Thank you very much and they Good morning I'm Andrew welcome to Saturday Breakfast here. Welcome to the weekend. Plus. This.
