News so that's the news from c.b.s. News the tempest to well it's never Dole in the world of u.s. Politics of the moment there are plans afoot for President Trump to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong un tariffs have been introduced on steel and now many I'm on the 1st federal election of the year is taking place in Pennsylvania on Tuesday paid to talk us through the week in u.s. Politics. Months in the u.s. Foreign policy and defense correspondent for The Financial Times based in Washington and telegraph and a Republican strategist and also the editor of the roughly explain dot com Web site very good morning to the t.v. Howie good morning thanks for having us. So much going on it I started to write earlier on the saving the the main thrust of things that are happening and I kept adding and adding and adding to it it must be the most difficult job in the world at the moment trying just to keep up to date with what's happening. Oh it's very nice have a little bit of sympathy Yeah it's certainly nonstop and I think the moment that sort of peace in our time gets declared from the White House on North Korea I mean this story that has been roiling and roiling and roiling and has been a battle of words that's come thick and fast between 2 very extraordinary men Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un over in North Korea but it but it's more than words you know that there's really been a sense that this could turn military there are plans for preemptive strike there are some people who increasingly backed this option so to suddenly have this dramatic announcement that actually Trump is really quite happy to go and meet Kim is is is mind boggling and I think it's taken a lot of people in his own administration by surprise as well but he's done it as well on his own terms in some ways because there's been all tore all sorts of talk about Kim Jong un never agreeing to that to back down or even raise the question of nuclear weapons whilst the the South Korea and American. Military show is going on in South Korea that seems to have gone by the by that was that was one of the pre-requisites that was always thought could never be could never be matched up but he's done it I mean Trump has really sort of played a a trump card here as. Well I there's there's this debate going over who has made the concessions and I think the South Koreans have made a huge effort to say Look North Korea is giving you what you want as you say they're going to accept these enormous large scale military exercises go ahead they're going to freeze testing and they are in theory willing to commit to denuclearization and so yes that is the trump card you are talking about the flip side the people who are much more worried about Trump accepting this offer say what are you doing accepting meeting the leader of North Korea. No American president has ever done this and they say it's for a very good reason which is you do not give them the gift of a kind of top flight meeting until you've actually gone and done what you sailed to do something to abstain you could always ation and everything could work out there really is a genuine possibility it could work out but it really does now require on a lot of things falling into place and don't forget the North Koreans haven't made this invitation public it's been passed on by the South Koreans and it's all gone a bit quiet since then so there's a real rush to work out did they mean it and if they did what on earth do we do next Exactly what do we do next I mean where would this meeting be where where in the world could it be well now you see if they don't really want to go ahead and it was all a dramatic thing one could easily invent in the light Mr Kim to the White House and then wait for him just not to show there are some neutral territories being considered there is the d.m.z. This is the demilitarized zone along the border with North and South Korea where where I've been and it's really is quite extraordinary because you have soldiers from both sides I need each other really been quite theatrical and just some very small blue heartsome un arcs and the idea is to try being there within you know eyeballing distance of all sorts of artillery is a very surprising one it could be in Seoul in South Korea it could be in Pyongyang it needs to be somewhere that everyone feels safe enough to go and for now we just don't know where that's going to be young Chang perhaps where the the Paralympics again as it does it does a good one I reckon temperatures nice and cool Taylor I'm surprised that you've been quiet on this because surely this is this is the major moment for Donald Trump to be able to say hey look this is what I can bring to the table I can make these meetings happen. Well Katrina was doing such a good job of explaining it I didn't want to interrupt her but she's exactly right in what she's saying here and there's a big danger in this the danger is that trump get set up for failure and us but the North Koreans are not they're not it's not the North Koreans who won't meet with Americans I mean that it's in a lot of sense most North Korean leaders if you were to push them under right conditions would want to meet with an American president it's so it's it's Trump's willingness to do this and it's his belief that he is a superior negotiator that he is the master of the art of the deal and that he will be able to get Kim Jong un to do things that other presidents have not and you hear the same rhetoric on trade and everything else if you just let me do it if I can just get in the room with them I can do it but one thing that's important here is that the way toward Korea sees itself is that is as a country that is a great world power having a nuclear weapon makes that seem more real and so one of the demonstrations of that is that the Americans have to come to them and meet with them and it there's a there's a there's a North Korean propaganda film in like 6 parts please don't bother to watch it's very boring but I have this. It's called the country I know and the in in it traces the last few episodes this series have traced the North Korea's nuclear development and the propaganda around that and the conclusion of this film is that when North Korea's nuclear program demonstrates there's such a great power that the American president has to meet with the North Korean leader so there's a concession just in having that meeting and I think the big question is whether Kim Jong un just wants the photo op or whether he's serious about new denuclearization and it sort of hard to. Imagine that he is that serious about denuclearization right now this story emerged about 2 days after there was talk about trade tariffs and steel tariffs being being introduced it seems to be from from this side of the water that every couple of days if something goes a bit strange for the American president. And things go slightly off kilter that he'll throw in another huge announcement so it started in the week with with gun control that I think took many people by surprise and then the trade tariffs came in and then the meeting with Kim Jong un I mean you know it's seems as if the the pile of cards is getting higher and higher I want to talk now about the about the trade tariffs in particular how popular in the Republican Party what's been the reaction among the voters if you're asking me here it depends on where you are the most the traditional conservative position is free trade and so is not big on steel tariffs but that did not stop George w. Bush from putting in place steel tariffs in 2002 somewhere around there a boy. And it was a disaster it cost more jobs than it saved and and it resulted in a big fight at the w t o but a lot of this has to do with western Pennsylvania and other areas that are still producing areas in the country politically and Sylvania is where the election's going to be. Western Pennsylvania is in fact where the election is going to be a Pennsylvania 18th District special election I'm sure we'll get to that in a minute but so there's a political element to this and there's also Trump's gut instinct and Trump is believe this is the 1980 s. When he was talking about the Japanese eating our lunch right it was the Japanese in 1980 s. It's China now the rhetoric's all the same in the fundamental belief is the same with Trump is that Trump believes that trade is a 0 sum game that if you if a country is if you're importing more than you're exporting to a country that country has wedding if you know economics as I'm sure Katrina does and a lot of her colleagues it doesn't necessarily exactly work that way but that's you know Trump's instinct on this and and way you see that coming out on the steel tariffs he's not the 1st Republican president do it but certainly the 1st one to do it at this level and what So you say that they have something to do with West Pennsylvania. But we're talking this Pennsylvania election that's going to the special election why is it important. Well it's important because it's another one of these let's test elections about how the Republicans are doing going into the primaries in the fall and so in November we'll have a prime I mean Scuse me a midterm election in the fall so in the in the fall we'll have a midterm election that will decide probably the control of the House of Representatives at least I don't think the Senate's in much danger switching from Republican to Democrat but the house very well could and this is a district the Trump won by 20 points it's a Democrat Connor Lam a conservative Democrat against a Republican house represented a state House representative named Rex 2nd and the 2nd one is called himself Trent before he was Trump's he's a very Trump lite character of lamb is this model of conservative Democrat social good socially conservative pro-gun all those sorts of things kind of cuts a working class figure versus a more traditional Republican politician that has tried to model themself in the shape of Trump and so right now in the most recent polls. The Republican trails and the Democrat is leading with the election coming tomorrow if if a lamb ends up winning that would be an extraordinary swing. From Republican to Democrat in this in this bedrock Republican district and it is a district that that benefits from the steel tariffs it's a Democrat it's a district has a lot of steel Lamb has been able to neutralize that by embracing what Trump that on steel tariffs and as a result he's he's got a real chance of winning and if he does it pretends poorly for Republicans going into the fall. How do you see what's happening in Pennsylvania. Well I think the fun thing is to look at the way Trump went down there and he gave one of these great election speeches that he gives you know this was Trump back on campaign form and he he says he's delivering He said things that your steel is coming back your coal is coming back big big big and he's really getting to play his trumpet at a time when other people in his party are threatening they would bring that just station if he'd. Actually block these terrorists people in his own party say we just simply won't let this go through and he enjoys this kind of ruckus and he says he's speaking to his people and the kind of stuff he says this is just brilliant just to look at it he starts saying people in Washington there's a lot of evil there are a lot of bad people and then he gives himself a couple of compliments about just how handsome he is that he's just incredibly comfortable giving these kind of speeches which is also why it's quite dangerous for him because if it does go against him he's really put himself up for this he's allied himself very closely with the Republican candidate if he loses maybe he'll cut him adrift quite quickly we'll see but it will be very humiliating for him if he loses and he's also going are going out on a real limb against traditional American allies. Mexico and Canada have now just about got themselves an exemption that no one in the e.u. Has an officially this was meant to be a policy to to punish China to say China stop overproducing but the Americans only buy something like 2 percent from China and so instead they're going after the Europeans and in the same speech in Pennsylvania he said the European Union sounds innocent not so innocent so he loves pillorying his closest allies. What exactly I want to turn now to something that started the week really it's about a week ago now the plans for gun reform came up. Gun reform is such a massive area and when you hear a president is calling for gun reform you think that it's wholesale What's President Trump planning for gun reform at the moment and is there any chance of getting it through when there is such opposition elsewhere. If this is to May There's probably only a little bit of gun reform that's going to get through and that's going to be improving the background checks there's suppose there's bipartisan support for that senators Cornyn and Murphy have a bill that will probably pass the rest of Trump's agenda here arming teachers and using federal resources to arming teachers to arm teachers the. Neither Republicans nor Democrats are big fans of that idea. Down so I'm doing a public awareness campaign I guess that'll probably be fine but I don't require legislation probably. And you know some other little things but the big things on guns that Trump was talking about being open to things like expanding background checks to more people and maybe renewing the assault weapons ban and raising the age to 21 to buy rifles those kind of measures have a much much more difficult time getting through the Senate and the House of Representatives right now with a Republican Congress and are a has a lot of power and Republicans are not going to move those measures probably contain a what do you think about the the plan so fall full for gun riffle Well it's a chump very aggressive with his own policy on camera he said to them Republican Senator Pat Toomey you were just afraid of the n.r.a. It was it was a great line you know Trump was going to stand up to the n.r.a. This body that you know Republicans loves and and was sort of making himself out to be this way Alona and on everything he's he's pretty much caved in as as as we're hearing the age limits issue he's not going to do anything having said he would he's going to pass that down to the states so they can make that decision and today I think was today is today a Democratic senator said he's completely k. . To the gun lobby so someone who acted quite tough seems to now be saying actually you know I just can't get it through and he put out one of his kind of glorious Trump tweets saying there's just not much political support to put it mildly Well he is the president and it's his party and their image they're empowered he's just he's actually not using the capital you has to try and get these things through because it's a lot of effort and he'll probably fail and so it's quite revealing that he's dropping so much one of the beautiful things about being up at this time of the morning is so much is happening over in the United States of America the moment it's like you know I can't believe how much is happening in the last couple of hours you've got Rex Tillerson secretary of state saying talking about the poisoning of the former spy in solves bring the u.k. And then our correspondent in California Peter bows has just been putting some speeches on social media President Trump is heading to California at the moment for the 1st time since becoming president over a year ago or a year ago and he's going there to look at prototypes for the border wall and there are protesters there so on top of everything else the border war plans are still going ahead. That's a key campaign promise for trump it you know Trump Trump ran on building a wall it was this call and response who is terrific at campaign rallies where he would shout We're going to build a ball and who's going to pay for their child back Mexico or in Mexico is not paid for we're going to pay for American taxpayers are going to pay for it but he is determined to do that he feels like that that is one campaign promise he made that he cannot violate and come hell or highwater Trump is going to build that border wall and so that continues to keep going and there are so many other issues now that I mean I don't know if anybody so worried about that one name or less said Katrina and thank you so much for your time tonight it's been fun I think I don't know how you keep up to do with what's happening. With the president of the moment he seems to be a very very busy busy person thanks very much indeed at the time now is $228.00 before the news I want to go over to the Winter Paralympics in South Korea j.j. Chalmers joins us live from peeling Chuang exactly where. The up by Athlone center where it's a beautiful crisp hear the winds picked up a length so it's obviously is going to be concerning for the athletes who obviously have to not just ski but also shoot in this event but the atmosphere here is actually quite incredible a lot of school kids a lot of locals in a real party atmosphere throw on top of this men's biathlon what that would you say the biathlon subway What else are we looking forward to. Well right now as I say. Underway and we've got action and we have British interest in that Scott me who's a former paratrooper who lost his legs in Afghanistan he's taking part mony saying around about 10th place at the moment he is going to be in action 3 more times this week he takes part in the Nordic disciplines of biathlon and also cross-country he's going to do almost the combined 60 kilometers this week and at this stage is about halfway through that it's a pretty epic epic challenge later we've got the skiing on again as well we've already had successes in that from Millie Knight and Mina Fitzpatrick who. So for some bronze is there in action again in the in the combined pine and basically I think we're going to see more of the same because they've already had a race this morning they're sitting in 2nd and 3rd places within that competition conditions look fantastic at the moment. Absolutely it is a beautiful crisp day from being completely honest though it has begun to warm up when we 1st got here right about a week ago there was a big dump of snow and actually organizers were struggling to cope with the snow lo and behold would you believe I went to par lympics But no at the temperatures really start to warm up in the last couple of days people can run in t. Shirt summertime which is quite a sight to behold and it means that the snow is starting to change that snow of a massive concern to a lot of the sports but certainly in this Nordic disappointed by Athlone where effectively our competitor Scott mean he has no legs so he's competing want to sit ski using just his arms only propelling himself using his ski poles so that change in the snow is a big adjustment and what times. He's in action right now actually he's about halfway through the race but it's a 12.5 kilometer ration 7.9 kilometers at this point he's sitting in a round about 10 spot at the moment which to be fair for him considering this is his 1st Paralympics and he's only been in the sport for about a year and a half and that's that's a that's a position that he'd be happy with at this stage thanks so much for trying to catch up a little later on the program time now 231 from digits along on smartphones and tablets this is b.b.c. 5 live on top of the latest news of. Make dollars with here between now and 5 o'clock it's $236.00 the tonneau has a reputation for being beautiful as well as violent but an area of Jamaica is currently under what they're calling and hand security measures restrictions were brought in in January for the parish of St James which includes the famous tourist area of Montego Bay because of a spate of killings in the area and when I say a spate of well let me put it this way the murder rate in the area is 50 times that of New York City and 3 times that of the rest of the unknown and Edmond Bartlett is the Jamaican minister of the tourism I asked him why this part of the island is so violent Well you know. Well beyond that we've had these here emanated from I think. This coming. Up activity so much really it's about. Knowledge so so people from our farm. 'd and So 'd we are taking steps to being good so you know that we you know who got the right to reverse that. It's gone. But there was a state of emergency 'd or an added security measures but the necessary thing that was done in order to preserve what has been a safe secure and tourist destination college America and we probed of that record. And we are determined sure that record with me so what have you done to try. The number of mud is down well we 1st of all the effect of then on to that image as a fact but positive result so far we've 'd had a dramatic decline in. Just general. 'd Holder say. We have also been putting in some it is measures with looking at infrastructure development in the areas and so it's a holistic approach that we're taking to dealing with these how she misses the areas our own and. Not actually in the resort areas because if you know the geography of an issue Ok we have. More. Terrorism and so on than thought we don't have that in Jamaica but we are careful to make sure that what we do is a mistake and. Waltz into something that you talk about holistic approach is to try and fill things out is that going to be enough to save your tourism industry when you look at the statistics. Well you know the truth is there also is industry is immediately not at risk we have growth. Almost every guesstimation in the region was there we grew very 1st percent is that is I don't know but is that only because what you're doing is you keeping the tourists in the tourist areas surely one of the neuronal one of the great things about going on holiday is exploring an area exploring an area because that's how you put money into the wider economy and you help everyone out if you keeping people in the holiday results only how does that actually help the whole Jamaica Well you know the truth is you know you're perfectly correct with what you say and the strategy that we have been pursuing in Jamaica is exactly that I mean I have developed a 5 pillar for growth and 5 network network we experience the whole range of experience show activities that drive people to visit the estimation and it's not about. Just a place to sleep it's about what happens at the attractions all across Jamaica it's what happens in the mountains and the. 'd attraction physical features like the wrong was the cover and the style of my. People go to look at the parks and the darkness that you have with 'd the natural. Tours that we have all across to me and that is one of the reasons that we go the way we are because the visitors have an opportunity to go all across America and with the experiences that are provided by the cable we are determined that the level of attention of the dollar Most away in the Caribbean is only $0.20 on average in Jamaica it's $0.30 we want to take it up to 50. And that's one of the reasons why we are taking steps what it finally would take a woman of violence and so on that we detect in whichever area to move quickly and safely to deal with it what advice would you give to people who are thinking of going on holiday to Jamaica should they take. Security procedures themselves should they absolutely not as they say they have to try and make sure that they take I don't know bullet proof vests Is that what you need no no no come down on the time people are doing that every day we're growing this at 5 percent of . 2 days ago the last report I have so people are coming this is the. High season. As I said we grew 12 percent. For the year we're going up 5 evil were. Extended security measures that I spoke about so just make long to be safe and secure the mission make how can you say then freezing 335 people died in addition to good little place they wanted I would not have been robbed these are not resist. This is a mistake issues that are in communities where people have. Been served and the links Ok enough makes it Ok. You know who you are why you think we have. Security measures because we don't want. That's why we're acting the way we are how long. You know we have a. Well that's the question How long do you think these procedures are going to stay in place well we were going to go on very long. But within the next few months we. Take control of the community. And. Clean social measures 'd have along. The. Path of the Jamaican minister for tourism on how he's making things safer than they are to 40 for the time let's head to California where Serena Williams is taking on as to Venus at Indian Wells are tennis correspondent Russell fall or is there with us early in the game but how's it going feel assumes leads by 2 games to one but both players have been under pressure on their so we haven't had any breaks of serve yet despite the fact the Venus Williams faced a breakpoint in our opening service game sooner Williams to break points in the next one and Venus has again fought off a breakpoint to hold serve and move to one in front there's a lot of very very heavy hitting they are not holding back some funder ISP lows the accuracy has not always been there have been some big service but there remains some wild serves as well in fact we've already had 4 double faults in the space of just 3 games 3 of them saved by Venus So let's just give you a flavor of the atmosphere here as we watch Serena Williams Now she's moved very quickly to 30 love there are still spectators coming in who are tickets for the evening session it's a giant stadium this it houses over $16000.00 people it's the 2nd largest permanent tennis structure anywhere in the world. So the Arthur Ashe Stadium Court of Flushing Meadows in New York the home of the u.s. Open which houses 22000 people and although there are a few empty seats at the moment it's still a fantastic atmosphere and about 3 quarters of the seats have been taken 3015 to Serena Williams in this game 1st match of the night session a little late for people on the East Coast of the United States not to mention people in the United Kingdom because it's quarter to 11 minutes past prime time there but it's a perfect time for those on the West Coast as the arena Williams hits a forehand just a little bit over the baseline so she's got a bit of work to do on her serve here at 30 your but it very much has been a match that many many people have been wanting to see that's not always been the case with matches between Venus and Serena because there have been many occasions where it's been a real anticlimax so difficult for 2 siblings to play against each other but there have been some memorable matches and no one quite knows which shape or form this match is going to take it is the 8th seed so Williams on right Nick because she spent so long away from tour over a year having become a mom in September and she just served an ace the move to $4030.00 if they are hitting it so hard to each other are they still moving around a lot of or is it now a game of pure strength it's 1st strike tennis in many ways and I think we'll have that many long rallies as we know William serves down the middle and Venus can't make the return so that's the 1st straight forward hold of serve and it's 2 games all in the opening set they both have big serves they they like to go for their shots so we're not going to see too many 2025 stroke rallies which is probably in Serena Williams interest because just to repeat this is only her 3rd competitive singles match since the astray and open of January 27th seen when you look at the size you saying this is the 2nd largest tennis arena in existence crowd does that change the game does it still feel the same. If. Feels the same as Serena shrieks at missing a forehand service return to the players who used to the very big courts around the world what you do find though is the lower ranked players get a chance to play one of the star names on this enormous court and yes they can at times have their breath taken away by the size of the stands because they head up high into the night sky and also the run off areas behind the call there is so much excess space behind the bass lines and to the side of the courts and a lot of players do say they find that quite intimidating and quite difficult just to get to grips with it because if you're playing on an outside court at a low profile event then you might find yourself rather squashed against the backstop not here at all you could almost get lost behind the baseline and presumably that changes the way you know does it change the way you play the game if you're if you're if you've got that much space do you start to his is harder and longer Well you should remember that the dimensions of a tennis court or the same but the temptation is particularly for players perhaps who like to hang back and be a long way behind the baseline to soak up the pressure from the opponent is generally not a good strategy in tennis coaches will always say to you when you're returning you want to be on that baseline risk post about baseline as possible and pushing your opponent back behind the other baseline because that's a more defensive position but it doesn't people you to retreat several steps of you have a very very big server some players go probably too far back and try and take the pace off the serve by returning from there that's a service hole for Venus Williams out of 5 service holes she leads by 3 games to 2 brilliant Russell thanks so much more from him a little bit later now for the next 10 minutes or so we're giving you another chance to listen back to some of Tony lives these to reflect the powerful interviews with Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis and Burnley striker John of the Walters both of whom lost their mothers at a younger age in the run up to Mother's Day Tony whose mom died from cancer when he was just 13 wanted to find out what long term impact that early loss has had on him . It's something that happens to one in 30 children the stories you're about to hear got an overwhelming response from you that sitting at home sharing similar experiences and opening up about the pain it's caused So 1st here's Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis a familiar voice of 5 Live who lost his mum when he was a similar age Tony what happened to me was 3 days before my 12th birthday I went to Sunday School of Jewish Sunday school as it was normal from a very happy family background myself my sister my mum and my dad and I was someone strange pick me up and took me home which was I knew them but it wasn't what I was expecting and when I got home I've been told that been an accident my home mum had been horse riding with my sister and been an accident involving a lorry and nobody told me how serious it was and I always remember worrying because I said My mum was in hospital and worrying that she would be there for my birthday in 3 days' time and my grandmother my father's mother said to me it's all right sure she'll be here for you but it's from a Jewish boy that happens when you're 30 and I thought nothing of it and the next day my dad told me. That she died that morning and that was that was the end of my childhood with that moment and. I cried every day until I was 15 and then I stopped crying and became brittle and it's it's the probably the defining moment that changed my life even when I married my wife when it was Mother's Day she would go with her mother for Mother's Day and I could not go with I couldn't do it I couldn't cope with Mother's Day Only now thank God with the great joy forgive me I don't normally. But with the great joy of having my own daughter that my wife has become a commo Mother's Day finally become something that I can actually cope with with going through. So so many can take a 2nd here do do that Martin do you mind if I talk while while you while you take that 2nd did everything you said there was resonates with me that at that moment I won't go into great detail either but I was just led on the sets he said he watching children's telly when my dad came in to tell me my mum was dead and I didn't know she was dying so we had that moment and that shock. Well I don't want to get oh I don't want to say p.t.s.d. Because that is ridiculous but I don't know I don't think it's ridiculous yet all shocked like that that we did have diagnosis you are similar ages we didn't have diagnosed it's like that we didn't have counselling might not it's a shock like I've never had a shot like in my life if that isn't p.t.s.d. I don't know what it is now only and you can't you can't process it and this is the issue that you've just said something that really resonates you may I'm finding it harder as I get older to look to and I'm looking back and thinking that self it's absolutely been the same through the middle of my life I've I've I I'm a complete. Not. Worse than pessimistic I just always think every day Martin something's going to go wrong something in my life is going to go wrong every day I just expect a call or a message even when the boss rings and that is a ridiculous thing for a grown man to do that is me reverting I mean Bill a child I mean with logic the risks are very like the stats I know this from talking about life insurance one in 29 children I believe it is will lose a parent before they hit the age of 18 and the you know it is that it is a horrible scenario I always sit there now and you know I'll be honest and hopefully this wouldn't happen if I could trade in I could be there until my daughter's 25th birthday and go on that day and get a guarantee of it so that she would have both the parents that I would I would press the button right now Martin is now a patron of the charity Grief Encounter which helps children through bereavement but the day. After his interview with him we had about 10 days visit to his beloved family football club his meeting with Jonathan Walters his mum died of cancer when he was 11 and like Tony he's bottle does grief up until now he's never really spoken about it the full half hour interview is well worth listening back to if you get the chance it's only I player from last Thursday evenings Dr program I went out about half past 5 here's a few minutes of what they had to say there's not a day go by where you don't think about your own but when you bring up certain memories and cherish the memories you have and. Don't look back and be upset and be sad about this on the other he should be you should be happy that the time you had I think I think you said to myself Well if you're going you know don't look back and be sad that you don't have more yet you have them for. Some people turning down enough that you know yeah yeah this is the thing and what I'm trying to get mad we had a number we also had a person and that I've never known that person I've known them oh yeah that than anyone but I don't know the person and one day. I will find out but I'll just I'll then I'll go you've all over again and the cost I'm going through that. You know that's probably a big part in that. I don't think I'd agree I was upset at the wrong I was always very very upset for a long time and every time used to get profusely upset but I don't think you have aggrieved I was put back into normal Let's say so to say I just got on with. Your top 5 minutes of game and posing as a young boy just tough I was a tough boy so if I tell you that you know that you talk I know but par grieving has been sorry for yourself and you should you should be allowed to say why me and why why have I not got why you know you should be allowed to do that but then you know yourself but then saying. It's probably. Best pity on yourself and why I mean there's a lot. Well people people say about football this takes me going into football and it makes me laugh because I've heard read and discos and I've had vendors times in football that's the funniest one was very funny because it doesn't really bother me it's got 2 adults. Kick the ball in the open it's not a horrendous game I go home and the kids were there last and you know I thought but put the telly on them what things are the bloopers come on to laugh at me and they're like oh. God that is minimal of. Of things up but having to get like the real things out into an offering just you know from really bothered me so pretty from by that in a matter not down on myself or anything like that you just get on with it because you've had so many West things happen to you and it's such a miniscule pall of panic and really a sense doing that interview something of a cloud seemed to have lifted for John of them in a very random twist of fate Tony bumped into him again on Friday morning in the gym they had no idea they even went to the same gym but they took the opportunity to go for broke. So there was in my boxer shorts at the gym and around and he was there but Jonathan Walters Hello. Yeah we just sat here now and digesting this reaction to the interview the 5 Live yesterday I mean you just tell me some of the people who've responded to you. Here locally obviously. Seen a motional emotional interview and I just said see that to. Hold me up to speak about now last week at books and the things we're talking about now. Me difference to me. And my own self and and I was speaking about them now with a public option a couple weeks ago I'm now going to speak about it as normal and you know since then straight away after I got off in studio told you I was I was going to go and speak to me on c.n.n. Take the fast after. To deal with it because funnily enough met one of them I'm sisters mom was one of 11 big family and I loaned them sisters went to counseling over now and then I think she's probably more like a best friends I'm a mom but she only found about recently as well. I'm a Texas straight away ask him if she had help me so. Next time over there I would expect a few times and found some over there to saw so much have a session book go through everything. And then. It was also. Probably the 1st time expects my wife. I was actually like a. Buck to be in a boy's primaries up illegal in the streets no wife revisiting memories similar to that when you ask me questions I would never revisit that memory because it blocked out and I went back. To that day and I was born in the as us who watches say no I wasn't fair that. You know things like I was and I didn't find out so so near my toes as harm will pass the way I choose as usual and I didn't say I'm old and I didn't say the day she passed away and I would say after I went into school and got all those things like it was unfair and why and. I think you just get and then speaking as what you've done is break your heart which is what you've not done for years because she would friends or to I know the feeling that's exactly that's exactly. What we are now on to her on a Friday now and even yesterday as day and a spokesman for the. Spokesman on the phone. And then he shared the similar memories and we said look we're going to sit down and. Go through all this. And go through it talk about all memories and talk about memories lead looks as well because I think it's a it's a moment since I got to deal with. There we go amazing things if you get a chance to do China's and not coming up before 4 o'clock we're off to the world's biggest refugee camp a city of tents and corrugated steel that's home to a 1000000 people one of our reporters is there and will tell us how conditions are and how the rains that are going to come in a few days' time could be in the very fragile existence could come under even more pressure and we'll keep you bang up to date with the Paralympic Games and events in California where the Williams sisters are currently battling it out on the tennis court that and we're going gaming as well to hear how video is changing our very idea of computer games and what's possible.
