They manage each day in the Winter Soldier in the summer I'm going to join the winter Christmas time as well they manage to make summer in the region around 1000 sandwiches made up each morning to ensure that youngsters in the area find themselves a bit of something to eat during the course of the day we called in to see them very good morning here from a bustling Wesley Hall in black Ben where the team and mediate in cheese chewed and chicken as this crack team of volunteers get ready to hand out this morning's freshly made hall to children across the area that have been battering bread since the crack of dawn this morning led by a minute from Kingdom outreach which is the charity behind this this brilliant project can I just pull you away from the production line for a couple of minutes so it's called the summer lunchbox program it's exactly that is it just tell me how it came about it is exactly that is a summit folks program this is our 3rd year running and it actually came about strangely enough from my kid I was at home one day making sandwiches for my children at lunch time and having gone through quite a rough patch myself in the past I just really felt it been on my heart that I needed to feed the children of light than a dollar and I had no idea how I was going to do it what I was going to do I had I knew nothing all I knew that I had business real burden on my heart to do this so I got got into it with losses the trustee of reach and he said It's strange I've been feeling this way I think. Christian organization and we we are very prayerful about things that we do so we created our to it and here we are we report to businesses we approached anyone and everyone that we thought could or possibly may want to help us we had lots of people that said Great idea but we can't help with love nor money but we're persevered and everything just came together the volunteers and their ordinary lives at the Room of the what it is they've seen people just tell me about you volunteers people that have given up the time this morning so our volunteers these are our trusted a very dedicated volunteers that everyone with is over the 3 years the just keep coming back so I must be doing something right we have a spectrum really we have young people he 7 and then we have. The oldest lady that we've ever had is so it's just amazing the community just coming together and pulling together to feed the children of luck with the dollar what does a gesture like this means those families that you know that you're helping during the summer holidays. There's more than one aspect to this so there's some families where there is a real need for the children won't actually get a proper meal and so when the thing that gap but this is the families who just a feeling the pinch in the holidays they're working you know that they're OK but come the holidays they're feeling the pinch of this is just giving them that extra little bit of help and support but also it gives them an activity to actually go out and take the children out for for the morning go to the local children's centers which aren't really being you know probably is used as much as what they should have been in the past and then it's giving them an opportunity to actually take part in the community activities and have a lunch while also doing that and you've got a 1000 children there just of each day that's a lot of families that you're reaching out to isn't it it's a great deal of families and it just goes to show that there's a huge need out there and this is a grassroots project and it's supported by local businesses and for example in tack they're the ones that have given as the van without the van we would not be able to do this yet and also to get a lanky shop a great deal to do with that as well and also that it's just blood doll and that's just happening in the center of blood on a daily basis Sharon Hart incident of the reporter there.
