Let me. Know when the. First. Time in. From. 6 the she. Sees a school bus down. To. Go but. It's me and you know until 10 o'clock here on the top floor. With plenty to come 28 double in session and a slightly slight lead someone to do it in my about half an hour's time you had them for the 1st time yesterday they're in session all this week so you'll hear them before 9 o'clock this evening and Lucy Cagney will be here shortly talking about the local theatre scene all about coming here on the top floor and you know every International Women's Day and you hear the same cried only from some men of. It even tonight no women they said. Well it's Today Ok today it's also World Toilet. thanks thanks. Smith Tilda thanks not the go off to film in the ninety's. Or indeed from the road book and what you meant to do with that song is called Let It Go 10 past I saw on the top floor from b.b.c. Radio because of programming earlier on today the whole show sort of just shifted around a little bit so $28.00 double maybe expect to be hearing from in the next 5 minutes or so you can hear from them in round about half an hour's time it's time to say hello to faith and Jody who on the show today hello to the 2 of you and Ning Good evening now and we do need to talk about International Men's Day I think Peter's You know people don't talk about men enough or I. Said no video. Let me let me go him straight away with the serious question do we need do we need one I think saying yes because if you can have an International Women's Day You need an International Men's Day But what would you do on International Men's Day sit around in your pants I mean but to be fair what do we do on International Women's Day We just saw before we celebrate your cheek minute of women yeah I guess we actually don't do that for International Men's Day the way we just sort. Of just pretend it's not happening Yankee. I didn't know it was how you can sell my house let me I wasn't there I was supposed. Actually I think a lot of people have been using it and I'm not necessarily sure this is why it's meant to be used and maybe is maybe isn't I don't know I should know more about it really. Being about black people I've been using it to talk a bit more about mental health which is men's mental health Yes Specifically I saw that in the in the London Underground you know how the British is the place that. Yeah yeah they had the help of those really good is all about not having to man up about mental health and it's Ok to talk about things I thought was quite. If they can use it for something like that or maybe drawing attention to I don't like I can't say for example that only affects men yeah there's a lot of the prostate. Kind of makes sense but if it's just to say yeah I don't think that's going to get much traction. Yeah not in the current climate just spreading and mansplaining. I had. Positive Ok well maybe part about the subject there I think a return to it's another type. Bastille. It's called another place. It's a feeling we. Are going to. Use it you should. Think . You can. Do to fix things used to. See. You Ron. Play play play. Play. Play. Play. Play. Is an old song. It's amazing. To stop myself from. These goals the goal is slowly I believe his name is serious. And. This is just to. Think. It is. This is just. listen your car exploded in the flight. To ease back tomorrow by the Why did you know it's not going to use with you and it's going to be getting up to some missionaries down on the allotments with a party plot as I do love the posse plotters because they're just absolutely bonkers to start right demanding it's great they also supply food so insisting reasons why they get my vote right faith and Jody are here and we're talking about all sorts of things at the moment I am already hoped to I'm a celebrity and I'm going to who is watching please I am your what yesterday never say enough so you know how you feel your life don't run for well I don't know I say unfortunately no I wouldn't know because what is it has put you off it thus far I don't know I think I think probably the fact that everybody goes on about it so much that's probably the reason I'm not going to fix it just so you're stubborn Yeah right now that's very sickly I've heard so much fact if you look I know how how can you not watched it but I'm now by principle don't want to watch it Ok Jody you need to sell I'm a celebrity to fight why should she be watching it because it's really funny I mean he doesn't want to watch people have folks crawling on a reminisced scream in the c.c. That just makes me feel uncomfortable because I don't like bugs and I well nobody because that's the only thing you say is you see all crawling over the celebrity used and you think. I have never really that celebrity but a lover to. Come. Kind of doesn't matter after a while it matters for maybe the 1st 30 minutes of the 1st show and after that they're just people who are in the jungle and you mention them and you get to know who they are anyway you get to know the real them yeah you do find the celebrity 1st and what I would add is for me personally this is the best thing about it well no I deprive myth that this isn't to everyone's taste but for me the best thing about the show is and today yeah I think of really and they are hilarious and they they keep popping up with just little jokes things See I thought they were like regular Not contestants if I thought they participated in the things until one of a couple of days ago when somebody told me they present. A presenter and they are they have been they've been presenting it since the very very start about 19 years ago and they were just hilarious I watch it sometimes just for that yeah just for them but I mean fire now is is just is just great and it this year the big excitement is the family cable in general off of the car dash Ians in the jungle reportedly so they say 500000 pounds has been paid. For Kayla Jenner which is well 3 maximum 3 weeks work for Kayla maximum if she comes out early then it's even less now so. I was surprised when people said like Kate and Jon because I don't I don't really know who is by no it's like it's a Cardassian so I thought they've really pushed about but I feel like she's probably the most famous person on the oh oh yeah so you know I mean everyone else just looks even worse because she's famous So yeah I was alive but I wonder whether they've they've blown all the budget and then they just went right let's just get anyone else nobody really care about the other people are because we got Yeah I think that means all the challenges are going to be really like they're going to be really small lie things like they're just going to have spiders. And stuff because they could. Quite possibly quite possibly here's a question for you which if you were watching last night's episode you will understand and if you were explained in a minute have you heard either of you 2 of Jane McDonald Yes you. Just heard or tried it on your I haven't sorry. To explain on the show last night Adele Roberts who's one of the celebrities they all have like a like a care package that they bring into the jungle and that which has like a luxury item in it Ok but they have to win that luxury item they don't just automatically get given it and Adele Roberts had as her look 3 Item a framed photograph of Jane McDonald who is she's on Loose Women right she does a show called cruising with Jane McDonald where he goes on the cruises and she's a she's a singer as well and obviously I hadn't heard it until about a year ago where I discovered her and she's changed my life a woman is amazing she is yeah just watch one episode of cruising with. Pop preferably drunk and then you will see candid like one of those you know this canal boat cruise people saw one of those sort of. Cruises that happen but it's mainly sort of. Cruise ships What's your thoughts on. Tony you know I mean she's all right do you understand why I take picture you know she I don't love or. Taking to a jungle that is you know high up on my priorities No I picture of anyone is probably not highly her. Family wouldn't yeah the picture of anyone you know somebody off of loose women and the occasional Channel 5 show yes seems like a bizarre choice but everyone is talking about it now and everybody's talking about Adele Roper. Examine a benefit. I was just a suggestion and I will continue our discussion trying to persuade Feith to watch I'm a Celebrity. I write it on the top long. Regarding and Kanye West are going to run for the White House in 2024 Kanye going to be president and going to be vice president. And when I was already going to. Be more bizarre. To equal in an admirable Ok. Yeah yeah. Well and everything's up for grabs now isn't it yeah yeah why why not why not just talk about I'm a celebrity and talking about the fact that Adele Roberts' luxury item chose a framed photo of John McDonald for reasons not know what. I'm wondering what your luxury item would be if you were in doubt presumably I'm guessing there are ground rules because I've never seen any of them with food. You know. A great homecoming for I magine if. Somebody. Were to share them with. Their fire. Right Jody let's start with you what would your luxury. In the jungle big I think but tea bags if you will. Be mine I now I've reached a point in my life where I'm not ashamed to tell you that I take tea bags abroad on holiday with me yes just like them. Like oh if I go to a hotel abroad I'll always like take a cup of tea because I believe they're 2 years inferior to ours you see. Yorkshire terrier some of you so I take. My particular favorite brand of Terry I will I will tell you because the rest just doesn't cut it yeah. So yeah I would. Probably would be my luxury item is today if it wasn't you would maybe just be something practical like I don't know like a top sure when I get torches and stuff I'll mostly just want to just I don't think there really is back to back to basics because they turn the lights off and it's just not come yet I would like to know what you would like to watch it right maybe we'll get in and get in their car maybe but what would your luxury item in a fight I'm torn between a pillow I like a good pillow bow no way an orthopedic some and that's what I'm always so hard was that. Luxury item wasn't like yeah I think most people are all I've got weighted blanket at home it's the best thing right can somebody explain to me what is a white blanket because I've heard people going on about these weight of blankets is it just a heavy blanket basically yeah it's light so it's like a normal blanket but it's filled with light beads so you basically well in my experience that suit he just basically gets because I toss and turn a lot I don't sleep very well I get so tired from try to do the blanket that I fall asleep faster because I'm just exhausted from trying to move but it works out great for me some people find it I've had friends who have used the blanket. Just to not how do you do this I cough you feel like I've heard of a white blanket Yeah I thought it was meant to like someone's giving you know hold me down doesn't it doesn't feel like I'll know it how. Hot it feels like it's more appropriate to say feels like I'm resource than America that would free me are you having a bit of my good music yeah you're not selling it and I know somebody go outside I know it's for me I you know you have you stick to blanket when you stick to watching a celebrity that's what we'll do right where are we now at 28 minutes past and we play you this. I come to Paul as we go back oh a long time for. Doing something sweet. session. You are you're wrong you say you're going to go. Back to come in just a little bit. Right now though. And Jody are still here we're talking about all sorts of things you know it is the decade challenge doing the rounds on social media a lot people going to be like tweeting about this and apparently the idea is you take a photo or post a photo of yourself at the beginning of the decade and then you post one now and you compare the difference often with Larry is the consequences sometimes with inspiring consequences and so on and so on can you remember what your life was like and how it's changed since 2000. Well I was 10 so you have a lot of changes yeah I mean I went from being the whole thing happened yeah. In my face happened yeah we kind of grew out kind of Ok with that was that was good . While change I did the whole school high school 6th form young now I'm at uni and that's scary Ok I mean that So that is a fairly big change that's a very big change Jody 10 years ago what we're doing and I was 15 and at school 10 years ago so I mean quite a lot of changes in I'm not a school anymore and I've been to many and everything in. Looks wise and pretty much the same as. Well good for you speak for yourself because 10 years ago I was 20 and I. Didn't have a beard for starters as we can see where your graphic evidence. Graphic evidence appears because my embarrassingly my b.b.c. Pass here with my security pass was taken when I joined the b.b.c. Age 19 and it's still the same pass you don't get given a new one and I've always thought because I've had it the whole time and obviously . I feel it in my head I've never I've not changed at all or completely different in the last few years people have increasingly been looking at it and going who is that gone back to. Me I would say I want to disappear be it is a big change there yeah the bid is a big change that's true but it looks you know it's a look have a look at that's well it's you have the beard on in your mind yeah and then I'm like glasses yeah you know wearing glasses and yeah I slightly off put it No but I did wear glasses for reading so I did wear glasses at that point 5 take up my glasses. And now look at the photo so it's very well right you look at the research and then look at me imagine a beard and it's me right yeah well it is you know they had the day I'm not sure. You know the one thing I am disappointed in is that you told them you kept the beard we've got to move on Callas Cowan I didn't realize this was going to be this is going to be a criticize massive destruction that is now going to last that was what was going on anyway we'll continue that not on the radio thank you very much very thank you very much dirty look see you both see you again very very soon 26 minutes tonight and as I mentioned some law music concession from 28 double took I'm sure. All b.b.c. Radio. English teacher Martin wrote a book and he called it little rhymes with cry well that's sold out so he's written a new one called Nothing Brines with crikey Well you see now Martin we really racked our brains savor this 1 May I introduce you to Laurie Di Paolo who you have undermined my charitable world hope that we're going to see about this every weekday morning from 9 on b.b.c. Radio Diaries. Instagram the top floor underscore some new music for you now Tropi and this is Lou. Going for somebody. To. Give. Him a. Looking for somebody on b.b.c. Radio 20 minutes to 9 am plenty kept me here in the next hour of the show talking about the local theater scene and speaking of the local theater scene op in doing something very very exciting today that has something to do with theater and I'll tell you a little bit more about it later on in the show right now though it's time for some music for you in session 28. After this you would have heard it's called Stack it up on the top floor Good evening. Trying to get in the club want to. Tuesday evening on the top floor and times return to the band that you had for the 1st time in session yesterday they are back 28 double from Dalby and surrounding areas and it's hello again to Nick Rob. Gav and Josh great to see you guys again thank you for coming in and yesterday we were just blown away by the what was the term that you used yesterday group cruise infested groove infested heavy rock I was skeptical about as a us. Today you can have a terminal groove terminal. Start writing all these like and you know what the Urban Dictionary. Ways to describe different genres of music very glad that you about today and we're going to hear another original from you very very shortly this I think is a good point to talk about how you can go about writing the songs so when you when you sit around and you think right Ok we need a new song I reckon how do you how do you write it well how do you start. It can happen in a number of ways. Quite often. Dark Horse drama he writes a lot of guitar riffs and some I didn't say a lot but he writes a lot of music. And yeah so between him myself. Robert of the guitarist we just sort of come up with ideas so one of us will come to a practice with a complete song or just a bit of a song put it together as a band it kind of just yeah some of the however it goes really on the flipside with that's also been times when we've just gone into. Something and then an hour later come out with a song. We. Run a sort of. Big One of the most popular songs like a 7 minute long sort of Sabbath the style kind of tune I don't. Know 1st we wrote that in light less than an hour on a really hung over Sunday afternoon practice couple years ago and so that's I mean so that just wrote itself yeah wrote the lyrics there and then me and Robert I've got a riff you've got a riff is another Earth and it just it just happened I suspect the moral of the story there is just don't think too hard about it I like ones that seem to go down the best of the ones that you sort of just come to you if you've just been jammin and yeah that sounds nice Let's see if we can make that into a song. As an idea I think I might try that trying his little work as possible in the hope that results in my best I don't know. If I'm a maybe maybe not quite so much I don't know what you're going to play then for the seating. This next one we're going to there is a song called moral code. It's one of the nearest recorded over we've played it we have played it live quite a lot and it always comes down quite so this is a bit of an exclusive cheeky exclusive or that's what I'd like to hand. It seems about the song's about I don't actually know Nick I'm focused I'm probably Ok come on next What's a song Song wise you've everyone sort of got a moral code by this song sort of exploits. Exploration for more Brotherhood sort of. Like. Between the band and so like a little family and say everyone's got very little model suppose you guys spend a lot of time with each other with you you know rehearsing and then geeking and then presumably doing a lot of driving to get to the gigs you find in each other's company quite a lot so who's the most annoying of the 5 of you that's my that's my question probably value. The one who doesn't know you. So. Move quickly on from the. Laid back to be annoying mates Yeah I'm quite sure we've known each other for. Years. What are some native of since you're alive and well yeah yeah so I always get into trouble and that sort of thing. I see how it gets rather lets him moral code and how did you write this what was this come to you quickly or was this this was a little bit of little bits here and there been sort of came a bit on Ok well let's hear it 28 double performing for you now this is moral code take it away guys. live look. Breathe everybody everybody. Everybody brave whoa calm down. This you're a very very nice. I just watching you Nic is is like going through something you know I feel like I was living that song with you. But you know you just put so much of yourself into it and you can and you can see that. On a life stage I got a little bit warm Yes there was a bit of a joke sort of between the regulars to come to the show how long it was not going to keep his shirts on for. Fairly soon usually with a little bets on the old What's the shortest amount of time being Kim would you say before Nick which the toff There was down check when. There was a gig karma or but it was I don't think we've even made it to like the 1st course and it was off straight away it was just drenched in sweat and everyone. You know is it do you work out Nick is what I'm trying to say you do you tell your. Yes I'll move quite a lot on stage. Put I would fit into it I could listen. To got quite a funny comment in a review when we played both stark the guy said. After we played single listening it was actually vibrating. We had such a good time it was actually going. Great right well thank you very much for today but tomorrow it's more music but of a cover tomorrow maybe on the no cost to minds maybe maybe maybe write 28 double Yeah. A double will return tomorrow hopefully with all. You've got to hear more from then on the show in session with music for you tomorrow here on the top floor. Don't tell me this is all of the non. I can only Radio Dobby Lucy Cagney going to be talking local thing. And speaking off this ranch. I've been to a secret location today. Souls are well underway for the production of a Christmas carol Dean Acheson to the cast. In full at some point next week give you a little teaser all the lights running the show I got the opportunity to sit and watch and rehearse for of that and it is sounding and looking really doing is really interesting thing where everyone in the cast plays a musical instrument and they're playing the music on stage. Very very impressed called White to hear what I got up to as I said in full next week but as a. After 9 o'clock. a. Picture in sync the pain again it's called high heel. After 9 o'clock then I have very sneaky little. Getting up to backstage in the rehearsal area or actually. For the obvious answers it's not actually in double digits in a separate part of. Little sneaky peek is what I was getting up you had a full thing next week and also Lucy Cabinet talking the local theater scene as well on radio t.v. And b.b.c. Sent.
