Behave says I was at the birth of my son in Guilford hospital 4 am then overseeing lunch for 300 people in Pirbright from 9 am till 7 pm then back to the hospital to see them again. You know mind that this is a thing. Top sports people if you did something else on the birth of one of your children that they were born then that is No 5058 is a good but problems going on while the fans are in the stands at Gleneagles that we can just see here and so you know opening tee shots of day 2 of the Soham Cup just minutes away we're going to be live on the course in a moment Europe with a narrow 4 and a half to 3 and a half lead off the day one could have been more USA looking to build on those crucial hard holes yesterday evening and I'm so John fraud just 2nd 6th of the series England are on top in the. Final Ashes Test at The Oval as they attempt to level the series that was you 9 in that last 78 runs ahead today plate back under way at 11 Thanks so much today Rob Some people will never forgive me that's what David Cameron has said about his decision to cool the Iraq friend I'm in 2016 been speaking to the times it's in the Times magazine today the interview with the former prime minister it's ahead of his book launch he is really going for some leave backing colleagues for in his words trashing the government he also accused the current prime minister Boris Johnson of Michael Gove behaving appallingly during the referendum campaign thank you for all of the takes we've received on this keep those coming if you like it Anderson is a former political advisor he's a seasoned Tory and now chairman of the communications consultancy Cicero group good morning in a more interesting morning always good to speak to you what do you make of this I guess you know we're expecting him to go for a few of them won't we but. He's not mincing his words in respect to Boris Johnson Michael Gove in particular sure isn't just finding like go visit mendacious really saying both. ORUs and may have misled it's kindness maybe law eat to the nation at its worst. The referendum itself well this is the political blockbuster that all of us kind of political geeks and probably many of your listeners have been waiting for since he wrote Don't Mean Shit he was jus to publish the book last year because well we thought breaks it might have been done by now or certainly by the spring of this year but he's just cited to go for what while Boris is still grappling with all the issues to raise money add to go for I think it's going to be a real page turner page turner maybe but you know these comments saying that Michael. Govan Boris Johnson left the truth home during the ref a referendum campaign that they acted appallingly How do you think it will play for the current prime minister will it have any impact do you think well I mean you know whether or not the current prime minister is I think the expression some people might use economical with the actuality saying something that I think to some extent has been priced in the kind of questions by whether or not he's a straight shooter all whether or not that's a lot of plotting going on under the table Ali think people love made a judgment by this and it's like give her the l stress in British politics right now it's beneath a clear by whether or not you're a lever or you remain or on the central question right in front of us if you're a lever you tend to warm towards them and you probably give Doris a bit of slack I don't know if the Cameron book is going to make any difference to that perception if you are. If you are a main are then you're not going to come up Boris any slack and it probably reaffirms all of your prejudices and it's interesting that we're so used to remain a leave of terminology now but he talks very clearly in his mind there was an inevitability about the need for a referendum that it was coming down the track and he was the one who just had to make that decision but actually in response to that there's been an awful lot of commentary on social media from people looking at polls pointing out polls from you know 2006 all the way up to the day the time that the referendum was announced and people sent it well actually people weren't really talking about it you know it that people only became polarized once the campaign invited them to do so OK so this is where you give me a chance to plug my book which comes home tax month I'll I. Really try to on. Pakis and I'm trying to on like it fell apart of you kind introduced me as a sort of Tory watcher Yes I have been a Tory watcher all my adult life and would go back 220-1220 third's seen. The Tory party was terrified put it you know that's not too strong a word it was terrified that Ukip as knowledge of fraud at the time was going to eat their political lunch just as we saw the Braves it Party. Be responsible mainly responsible for taking Tory support Dein to about 9 per cent in the European elections this year the Ukip effect was eating in 2nd serve if support So back to almost engineer straight out 2013 he stands up in the city in London and makes this speech and pledges a referendum he was being told by his closest political ally is then chancellor George Osborne Don't do this it's a gamble but his gamble was that he wouldn't necessarily get a majority only so out of 25th Yep and election the Liberal Democrats weren't supposed to do that well they would have been Nick Clegg would have been the break on this of course the Tories what time the Liberal Democrats pretty much and he got a majority and he had to do it and the rest as I say is history for now anyway thank you thank you very much indeed N N disinform a political advisor He's chair of the communications consultancy Cicero group we are going to speak to the captain minister Nikki Morgan in the next 20 minutes or so to get her thoughts on all of this is 10 minutes past 8 now yes 10 minutes past 8 we're also obviously talking about the Sohan Cup which will actually tee off well now 810 Let's go live to our Gulf correspondent in cannot say and what's the atmosphere like that we've actually got on the screen say yes I mean we can watch as we. Watson light Yeah it is absolutely terrific Michel the players just being introduced to the crowds packed grandstand 2 and a half 1000 odd people around this 1st tee one of the most intimidating environments to hit any golf shot they always say that whether it's the Ryder Cup the Solheim Cup hitting off the 1st tee so the nerves will really be raging right now and this opening foursomes match this is the alternative short format of the game the opening tee shot of this day the 2nd day will be hit by a Morgan Pressel just as it was on the opening day yesterday and of course you always get the great contrast in sound on these occasions it's been fever pitch on this 1st tee but now just a few stray voices as a couple of practice swings by Morgan Pressel and then it comes down to absolute silence for this opening tee shot on the par 4 1st as a bunker down the right hand side 225 yards away a 381 yard par 4 and remember it Europe to lead by 4 and a half points to 3 and a half as we head into this 2nd day still so much gold to be played and here is Morgan Pressel with the driver launching into the shot she bends down picks up the tee she is perfectly happy because that ball has landed in the left side of the fairways running down very nicely indeed. So there's the introduction for an unordered list who will be partnering and should say Morgan Pressel is reunited with Marina Alex for the Americans and it's Amban down making her debut alongside Anna North Chris to use the experience we'd who is playing her 6 Solheim Cup 32 years of age tall Swedish blonde haired woman and she now gets herself ready in the color scheme for Europe today as a kind of off pink kind of top it's a chilly morning where it. Specter really breezy conditions today there is the tee shot from an old course these days right number 60 in the world and that one landing in the fairway as well so 2 excellent tee shots to get this 2nd day of this Solheim Cup underway both players marching off all 4 of them indeed down towards the fairway and we are underway for day 2 of this Solheim Cup here at Gleneagles What are your expectations for today then enough to see you've got your best female Dolphus hoping to win that the trophy back from the United States how do you think it's going to play out well I think this sequence of matches is going to be very very important because although it is Europe who are leading on the scoreboard as I say by 4 and a half points to 3 and a half that pictures should it could be argued have been much rosier for the home team had it not been for a really spirited comeback by the Americans late on yesterday and they came from 3 down with 3 to play and one match one down with one to play in another to force Hobbs that really sent the momentum into the American locker room rather than the European one so I think that Europe of how to regroup overnight this opening sequence of matches is just going to be so so important we often talk about it at Solheim Cup Sinnott Ryder Cups about the importance of momentum that momentum was with America late last night the other thing to say Michel is that I really hope that they start playing quicker because yesterday the pace of play was absolutely appalling and that threat had to really you know it really threatened to spoil what should be a massive showcase for for golf and women's sport in general it would be I'm saying you know they hold it really on the clock today aren't make is that can't be the same yes almost 3 hours to play 9 holes and yet 2 hours 57 minutes to play 9 holes in match play albeit 4 balls in the afternoon so you do have 4 balls in play Rob. Too Was this the case with foursomes which is a quicker format in the morning but inexcusable really inexcusable a lot of chatter about it has to be stamped out but I don't know quite how bad is going to happen they are just so deliberate the referees seem to be impotent in terms of dealing with it and times yesterday it was like trying to watch bricks. You know just torturous. Facts so much what we'll be watching we've got on our screens now and he said the weather is OK up there and the rain is just. You have the route there is a little bit of rain in the forecast for later on the winds are going to freshen they could gust up to 40 mph that could slow down play as well but it's going to be testing conditions as this day goes on there right now now absolutely stunning a beautiful part of the world can see the Perth hills and a real spectacle here Runtastic stuff. Thanks Michel thank you 50 this is B.B.C. Radio 5 Live on digital B.B.C. Sound. Sounds app to listen still last month's talk about this morning we'll be chatting about the ashes with old royalty old rule eat well look ahead substantially and of a compelling day of Ashes cricket lights a Tyson Fury how to chat to his promoter earlier so we'll hear from him again before 9 o'clock and cabinet minister Nikki Morgan will give her reaction to David Cameron's book before 8. Very very shortly you know it's averse to less than. 5 Live at 3 o'clock we spoke to a couple of fans Marcus Rushford is going to be on Football Focus later on the B.B.C. History is on what it's like playing on the leg on a social right now everyone's confident in the manager for one and remain open to doing more is what he's telling us to to perfection. The initial response to his tactics is training has been phenomenal you know Plaza right behind him. What does he give the props to the previous incumbent for me just a plan is not a plan for just this isn't all fun for just the next game this is a problem for difficult for managers to do that because they don't think they need to be bought in a position where renowned we don't need this rotation of managers them because you never so different to see. Joe Samaria I think is is is very different for Frank is expected because he's played off the pitch in the stands plays a bit more. You think is a problem from or near the fact that he was in a top class player coming off a season now I'm going to be accessed online or in other places and the range may well have for a while I don't think it was a problem for him because he's obviously a top manager and he knows how to he has his way of saw Breeden people book for me I think just when a manager is played they've lived a different sort of the lifestyle of a left and they might be a bit more understanding so Marcus Russia clear he wants a bit of stability in respect of management at Manchester United you can see the full interview with him on today's Football Focus 12 o'clock on B.B.C. One and you can watch it on the B.B.C. Sport website as well thank you for the text that we've had around doing something else on the day that one of your children was born this is because Joe Denly had well he was there for the birth of one of his children yesterday wasn't a and then to the Oval. Face just Hazelwood for his country so a day that goes down in the memory for for him no doubt and thank you for the ones we've had from you as well my husband was disappointed to find that there was no T.V. In the delivery room when I had our 2nd child this is from Marion It was the grand slam match in the 5 Nations I was told to produce him before kickoff Wow. Pretty active on the it was Julie born 20 says Marion my husband disappeared and she's put this in inverted commas to tell everyone yeah. Really where you were talking about in the map show while she'd given birth that someone else has put Hello guys slightly different type but the day I gave Beth instead of relaxing music that she had had in a birth plan she had to listen to Liverpool this is Chelsea on the radio. Delivery that she wasn't happy at and some people get away with on that I just suggested that just be sure. To marry and settle 980 went to Hammersmith Odeon to see a Jethro Tull concert then straight to the hospital to have our daughter lucky she was a girl or she might have ended up being called Jethro that's true poll is it not in my low poll after the birth of our eldest in 1988 I went fencing for a couple of hours to London Thames fencing club whilst mom and baby slept needed to work off the adrenalin of the most amazing moment of my life to that point is away when I remember the birth of my 1st child and I had to go home because they didn't let the dads stay so you've gone through this completely mad occasion yeah and you just kind of laugh yeah you south adults had to go into the high dependency unit she had a problem it will sort itself out but it was in there for a few days and us all went home and you just sat in the flat and you think a way to experience sure they had that the House not just water but a telly and yeah I have a beer in the now yeah the next night you feel like hanging out with your mag just feels a bit too yeah yeah yeah it's not I came back it was like this again I thought go to the cinema so I just this is very similar How do you know I'm that yeah it's all rather peculiar if you did something else on the birthday of one of your children then let us know what love to hear from you 505 we've been talking about the Liberal Democrats their conference getting underway today we spoke to Angela Smith who's one of the newest M.P.'s their newest they've got 5 new M.P.'s and they have defected from other parties and Angela Smith is the newest we had a chat with her and we also spoke to Davey as well the deputy leader of the Lib Dems some of your text in response to what he had to say. Very easy of the Lib Dems saying no sort of pact Alliance understanding with the conservatives or labor. He said if they were to get in. Do OK then they wouldn't come up with any kind of pact with a Jeremy Corbyn led Labor government he says is this the same lived them Party who said previously no deals with the main parties prior to the 2010 election then lo and behold after the election they shacked up with the Tories and Marie from Weatherby as well saying Ed Davey was a member of the Tory government which was the start of 10 years of austerity which was brought about the devastation of our public services why not challenge him on the Lib Dems track record of not sticking to their so-called principles thank you very much indeed for that one and Ali in Oxford is saying can we have a general election and a 2nd referendum on the same day yeah so the bricks in question get settled via come from come from 03 referendum and we can vote for our M.P.'s based on policy issues that are important outside of breaks and then we are voting for a party we don't agree with on any other issue just because we agree on their brakes at position thank you for all of those if you want to get involved hoping speaks and if you Morgan the cabinet minister in jus course but we're struggling to get hold of her at the moment so we'll do something else in the meantime Well yeah . We're going to take you Morgan now and she's our eyes just went for a bit of instruction from our editors so I think we can speak and if you Morgan now how do people get in there I haven't seen The only good excellent So just for our listeners. To stay for digital coaching Media and Sport. Ostensibly to talk about money going into revive historic high streets in the U.K. 95000000 quid the biggest ever single investment by government in the case Bill heritage what's the plan here. Good morning well this is part of the Say a plan to revitalize our high street and in May this year a competition was announced by to be judged by historic England we are today announcing allocation to think 9 High Streets across England as a key. Heritage environment to revitalize buildings and to provide an opportunity to bring life back in and make sure the high streets are all thriving OK if you forgive me I have you don't mind but we've only got a few minutes with you and I want to ask you about David Cameron's interview about his memoirs because he does this from a news story this morning damning of your current boss I think it's fair to say do you think the Prime Minister and your company colleague Michael Gove's left the truth home during the referendum campaign as as David Cameron does. Well no because of you running the referendum campaign from the U.K. You know understand why you know David is on the writing about it in his book it was a huge privilege to be part of his cabinet and the education secretary under him but in the end the day those of us who are sitting around the table now working to implement a result of the referendum I'm not sure that it is helpful to say examine all of the public debate by. 16 I mean he said that their behavior was appalling and you know saying that they left the truth home is interesting is it because obviously that's the same way the prime minister has been accused of misleading the queen. Now the former prime minister thinks the current prime minister is a liar. And also you know the cool suspension ruling this week that he's been misleading a liar of it well that is whether there's a pattern of playing kind of hard and false with the truth isn't it now well I didn't there is we've fortunately he's been very clear this week absolutely did not lie to. Her patient column and of course there have been a number of court cases this week and that's going to be a pairing in Supreme Court next week on this but don't forget that the English. I court has declined to get involved in probation because she called obviously has moved very different they. Say that this country that is into so we don't like to it's the law or across the country so we don't need to make the division between English and Scottish what we do because the whole point is there are different courts ruling in different ways and obviously a matter of all bald eagle system but you know we have a perfectly entitled to do and the Supreme Court will hear obviously the appeal I think this country's day in relation to the hair and everything else but that's the point it all is based and you know we we we were on the back straight over and over again we are all of the personalities and all direct action I think the vast majority of listening to your program and others want the government say to resolve the backseat issue would be to resolve the 1st state in the primacy very care about leaving. But I will talk about other things when you were talking about. What's happened with your position here because you said almost exactly a year ago the you would not in a bar a stone's cap and that was when he was saying about wrapping a suicide vest around the British constitution which he was saying Michel Barnier earlier this week on Monday the US sat on the From bench next to Boris Johnson cheering him on a PM and said he will take his out without a deal if necessary in a project that you had previously opposed and then just before Parliament was Perot was the day before an act that you claim to be you said was a mad suggestion that want to do you understand why some people say that you put your career ahead of your principles that you've dispensed of your political principles where they are the only people who say that would be people who don't know me personally so what's happened since obviously the comments I made last year Firstly I think I said I didn't expect to be all 75 or so people play that's not the case because they don't need to be his Culture Secretary we have 3 trying to prove to we in common past indicative prices. I tried to find a way through the SO for M.P.'s have not been able to do that I want to be engaged in what's called You'll turn to Rangers were trying to find alternatives to the Irish backstop to mean of the agreement that we could get a deal that is approved by M.P. And I was offered mine for you is that actually if you offered to sit around the Cabinet table particularly to support obviously the prime minister in the cabinet in trying to find a deal with the E.U. But excepting that actually other say the revenue result needs to be fulfilled now 3 and a half years old constant division and uncertainty lobby against the day you know I believe I firmly in the system that we have whereby M.P.'s in Parliament abide by the result want a referendum or they are not nice to be fulfilled rather frustrating I've been told we're going to go but thank you anyway thank you for your time Nikki Morgan secretary of state for Digital Culture Media and Sport that was frustrating because we got a bit later than we were hoping to get Morgan and then we're going to let it go because she's off to a whole bunch of other interviews as well and there we are this is how it is on live radio sometimes but that was the view from Nicky Morgan We're coming up to half past 8 and it's time to get the latest news on digital B.B.C. Sad. Thing is B.B.C. Radio 5 Live David Cameron says he's truly sorry for the insurgency and division that's followed the E.U. Referendum in 2016 the former prime minister has also criticised Boris Johnson Michael guy for what he's called that appalling behavior during the campaign the Liberal Democrats are gathering in Bournemouth for their annual conferences Joe Swinson is 1st as party leader should be trying to drum up support for scrapping bricks it without holding a public vote police investigating an apparent threat by climate activists to disrupt flies at Heathrow using drones have arrested 18 people they've been questions on suspicion of conspiring to commit a public nuisance and 13 of them released on bail and the state funeral of the former Zimbabwe and leader Robert Mugabe will take place in Harare today nearly 20 . Trafford has made Australia complacent that's definitely not not the case that think it's hard to say that when you know on the field reflects that but you know we're really you know we came here to win the Ashes an era and that's our goal and you know we need to walk away from here with a victory which which which is great because we're still in the contest and you know we've put a good balance for once again tomorrow and we got on the chase and Eglin will resume 9 without loss at 11 this morning 78 runs ahead you can catch up with the team mates podcast on B.B.C. Justin's got in touch from cultural turned Hello Just think of morning it's all very well David Cameron being truly sorry says Justin and calling people out for their polling behavior now days they want to call the referendum in a bid to remain in power didn't campaign effectively enough for a main didn't like the outcome of the referendum which depressed him then bugged often leaving others to sort out the best he created. And it. Wasn't. The wrong. 3. Times. 24 Celsius in southeast England and 16970 S. For Scotland and Northern Ireland across the U.K. This is B.B.C. 5 Live Saturday Breakfast. It is 836 on this Saturday morning have you well thank you for being with us if you've just joined us is Michelle Ackley and Chris Warburton Let's talk about the cricket because Joe from. Proof pretty amazing figures Yes isn't it taking 6 for 60 to do in the business giving England the OP I hand in the 5th Ashes Test as all poles up Sawhill stumps if you are going to lose all I thought I was a pretty tough watching No 2 is right simple can't believe I was straight you know oh I know wonderful count I got all to take the 6 wickets and then later by 78 runs off the bowling Australia out for $224.00 Now here's a strange thing because we've got as a guest on the program. It's the one and only. Good morning. The president of the program yeah yeah yeah going to be doing the program for a bit because she's out there in the cricket on a little less. Let's get her up early never that you should say hello to Michelle really. Sit in from morning with your head in peace behaving himself he's being on his best for hey my Yeah yeah I don't really have. Any way that was more like actually do you know that catch. Towards the end of the play 0.56 reaction time I've got in the paper here incredible it was we have seen some amazing catching this summer not was that was right. And you know and quite a lot of catches have gone down actually in this test to see one step but yes I mean Rory. And you offer up your as well as you say a 2nd hole in this series and the last person to do that was in both and a few years ago he did really well he took the top order and got rid of the openness and then monosyllabic Shane who as we know is a is a very sticky character and then came back at the tail and finished them off as well so 6062 for sure but also really great bowling by Sam Curran's well on his home ground he just got that enthusiasm as any He's only 21 some current but he's got the ability in his left arm and he can swing the ball as well so he just added a different dimension to England's bowling and also just the bounciness that he has was really refreshing those were the points I mentioned Dr yesterday that he had a couple of appeals for L.B.W. Turned down one after the other and he had that expression on his face as if his mom had just said to him No Sammy come play fortnight until you finished you. Really are I'm with Michael Vaughan on this we're. All series I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but with Jason Roy dropped and Curran brought in this looks like the way forward Well I mean I think the thing is that that's the point really it's because Ben Stokes hasn't he isn't able to bowl in this Test match because he's has his sights so he's playing is a specialist and we you know talk about this yesterday where was the official dinner in the series and there was a point you know was he when Jimmy Anderson we hoped was going to be available for at least part of the series Stuart Broad spin bowling really well you had Joe for Archer in this well. There were even a drop Ben Stokes and. The other all rounder Yeah exactly exactly So I mean it absolutely makes perfect sense as you say in hindsight to bowl him at The Oval which is his home ground and where she's done so well on but yeah I mean he was man of the series last year against India so you know I think I think a few people mentioned his name but not in that kind of the man. Manta the situation is current but then when he's that she was of the I was with Alex yet for most of the day yesterday who of course is director of cricket sorry and a great advisor and mentor to Sam current and he said to Sam at the start of the day yesterday if you do something special in this Test match you can have a pair of gates named after you like like Alec at The Oval he said in fact I will paint my gates and paint your name in that place. And as the day went on we got. Around who is multi-talented and produce a straight broadcast stroke man of all trades C.M.'s to photoshop some current Gates a very picture of the Alex year and that was that was. Kind of yeah yeah. And he was really he was really kind of chuffed about that but yeah I mean I think he knows you know he's got his head screwed on he knows he needs to do a little bit more than get 3 wickets in one that does something like that a word on Steve Smith a Mr Straight more he's human. I know well Chris well got into the 2nd time. Lords when he'd been hit on the head by Joe for a shit and gone off and then come back out again but yes 80 is his lowest score of the. This is that and he could still I mean if you can school is 224 in the 2nd innings he will beat on Bradman's record of 974 in the Ashes series so you know it's I mean it's not beyond the bounds of possibility of Australia find themselves chasing 400 old to win the game then then he could get in and do it but yeah I mean it was it was another great performance by Steve Smith and and I feel like when you say a word about Steve Smith I think I've run out of words and I. Said to them all. If England what sort of escape the oval with with a levelled series Ok goes back down under but with the World Cup in the park. As well. A pretty successful summer of cricket isn't it for this country Yeah I think so I think I mean Trevor Bayliss said in his farewell interviews that you know the aim was to win the World Cup and the ashes but to do post in the same would have taken such a superhuman effort and you know I think everyone says that some of these places just the high had that exhausted you know towards the end of the summer because it has taken so much out of everybody mind you just before the start of the end of play was it for the start I remember when I'm doing interviews now so it's affected all of us but he did he did he did look tired you know he did look quite kind of pale faced and having having schooled for England 70 and yeah I think I think it has been exhausting for everybody but but this is the motivation for this is you know if you get the idea this is a dead rubber in the ashes and already gone if England win this Test match and raise you know and get all the celebrations for winning the Test match and then all straight here get presented with the ashes and it's going to feel strange for Australia they had desperate to win this yeah they don't want to be given the ashes and on the back of a losing Test match now I think if you're anything like me I comb listen to the programs that are normally present when I'm not doing them it's just it's just not that I don't see every moment of you. Know that if we get. A majority Saturday the 5th of October I think that's probably where we're going to be next together because the Rugby World Cup coming up isn't it so we've got no programme it's cup of such a device which is a bit of a show you know well there was an admission and then you know it will be well you know when when when when it's. Possible in the morning and it's freezing cold outside we'll we'll be back into the swing of it lately OK if I get a T. Make a comeback. All right we'll have 70 exactly 0 thank you. Have a good week a. That was really cool during the whole. Well. How come we can say I don't know it's going on as for right it is quarter to 9 it is indeed now speaking to a lovely chop a vehicle not down he went backpacking in Malays yet fell in love with the place and stayed there for several years on the unusual but he actually became a bit of a made a sensation all over social media all of a T.V. Is a D.J. On a national radio network to travel shows on Malays in T.V. Basically as we are saying Judith Chalmers takes over Malaysia and I asked him as he's known that as a man down to take us back to the beginning and explain why he chose to go to Malays are in the 1st place well basically I went backpacking 10 years ago in Thailand and around Southeast Asia Actually I had no plan to go to Malaysia based out of sight from Singapore so I was just in a transit base in the through Malaysia to get to Singapore but in that kind of 3 week long transit I basically fell in love with the country one of the islands I was staying on over there which is quite complex island. And it just kind of you know what 3 weeks turned into a month stint 2 months into 3 months and then now it's been well 10 years I've been out here now and so yeah it's extraordinary and the language that the language will speak in is still maligned but it's a different dialect isn't it yet true so I'm on the east coast of Malaysia in a state called Turn got a new so I mean turned on who has quite a unique dialect is still the Malay language just there we call it wasn't you but it was quite a unique dialect but at the time that I was learning to speak I didn't know that I was learning this dialect because obviously you know I just arrived in the country I didn't know anything directly about the country so I just picked up the language that was around we you know every day and then understand that when I went then to the capital city I went to K.L. And I found out that I actually learned a dialect that was actually quite unique and quite rare. He said I suppose it's like you know he's like English B.S. But with a Yorkshire accent basically is that kind of that kind of stick so I was going to ask about your accent as well so where you were originally from is this that you can sense or yeah yeah I mean you're from Shelton and Cheltenham so down down you know restore way but obviously my accent now it takes me about 2 or 3 days when I get back home to actually you know I chat and mix and come just like an. I mean when I was learning Millais it was it was really I mean I went through a stage of being terrible I mean but once I rang my I called my Nona once to wish happy birthday to my nun and she put the phone down on me she was the last of the silence was it a sound we some brought binds me she put the phone down. But yes so that my English now he's got a bit it's come back and he's got it but it does I've you know it does have a strange kind of oxen to it but you know that's I mean that's the sacrifice that the makers person it's it's fantastic that because I I just think it's impressive for anyone learning you know a new language never mind ballet you know a different dialect as well you know this is incredible I mean how does it feel being you know a top class celebrity Malays you know. Well I thought I'd be dissenting just kind of used to it I mean you know this is my vote for here it is I've been doing this kind of thing but you know I love it I mean you know there are points when it can get a little bit tiring going out with the family and whatever people want to take photos all the time but I mean it is it worked I do I mean you know I'm kind of dependent on having these kind of fines and you know in these sad selfies and whatever so I don't usually think of it. I mean my family they I mean they love it they come to visit me you know once or twice a year they were here last month I think they love it and my dad I think my dad definitely love the fight you know he's got a kind of claim to fame yes but yeah I mean you know I mean I was I spent 7 years living living on an island kind of not really doing a lot of my family I asked to you know I have to get big sharks and it was they've supported me for you know from from the beginning and I've a few times I was going to homesick and you know wanted to come back home but they were like you know think about it you know if you come back oh and then you know what are going to do I know we know you love out there so they just they really support me from through all the ups and downs I've been through and I think that nothing they they seem fine you know is kind of paid off I think they're like good to have you family support and obviously you know yeah it's not traveling you wouldn't feel that you you know have this kind of success or is this is this kind of your full time career or yeah yeah definitely I mean like like you mentioned earlier I'm like a part time D.J. On a radio station in my city and in the studio now. And I'm now the tourism on busted a full during a new state in Malaysia so I do not say I do a lot of I think in November we're going to be back in England in London for the world tours I'm going to Expo down in London. But that's my kind of my full time job and then I do all things next month I've got an acting job coming up so I can you know just say only about the Janjaweed busy these these last few months like you know. You know well not seen is that we've got you live on 5 life can you say good morning and welcome to 5 Live breakfast floors in melee OK so I'm up I get on cell I'm not a good Radio 5 Live breakfast that I think I can get it done it's a good job and I haven't seen that in a in X. That was very very good it was just in a slightly different dialect to the one I'm using yet another. Can you actually speak and the other languages get out of it. I mean that question is lead a Christian. Well I speak different dialects of my life well you know I would like French Jim though I say different I speak a little bit of German Bush and George OK. But. Better stay a drop in German around the house the kids are convinced I'm absolutely fluent in it fine with that RA and so they start. Out that's not just. My bluff that is true yeah. Well yeah I used to your I used to speak a bit of French. So I did it at a level and then my fist year of uni I'm planning to revisit because I can understand it but it's just the ground you know you leave it on the say yeah I'm going to get some French lessons in the good for you good thing right it's 9 minutes to 9 right now but we are a very distrustful few really. Good listeners and I just thought we were talking about using the right song the sound of the song and the words more and actually meditation after they did some or so people who played that song from Woodland someone like you coming. Out today is going to take some very public. Pain Free can see the thing take history that we can. And then as I say that I've managed high pressure to see you know the way thanks Nick keep on. Monday morning from 6 could well be a really sunny day for you today particularly from the south of the country can or are in different parts isn't it you might want to settle down to 3 o'clock to listen to Manchester United less the city and Dennis and all those men and of course will have extensive coverage of the our she's with Ellie from the Oval and let me tell you as well by the way we're going to be talking about the toss and fury in just a 2nd if you going to get up bright and early tomorrow morning for. Regular distance the breakfast program anyway just get out a little bit earlier if you're a boxing fan because it's the latest Tyson Fury fight might Costello in and the league going to be there for life commentary from Las Vegas we're also talking. A couple of political stories today there's a live them conference but also the fact that they've Cameron has given this interview to The Times getting loads of pick up obviously had and he essentially says some people will never forgive me about his decision to cool the E.U. Referendum in 2016 this is ahead of his memoirs that would lead to believe were written in the shepherd's heart so famously He's also accused the current promise of Boris Johnson and Michael Gove of behaving appallingly during the referendum campaign since 1st in 2 years I say breaks it very much on the agenda as well the Liberal Democrats and your conference which begins in Bournemouth later on with the latest Swinson hoping to convince members to back a policy of scrapping Breck say without another referendum that's where they are now she says the U.K. Got into a mess as a result of having a referendum and revoking Article 50 is the only satisfactory way out of it this interview go you go in early on I spoke to the deputy leader Davey of the Dems asked him if he had been looking for his name in the index of David Cameron's new book. I'm not that's right I mean I think one thing what the memoirs already show is the Tory Party still at war and the exposure of Johnson and gave was having just lied to people which is you know I think people neighborhoods it just confirms it but from a liberal Democrat perspective we're in great heart I mean our poll ratings more than doubled since last year we we beat the Tories and Labor in the European lections 1st time for 100 years we've done that in the U.K. Wide lection we've had 6 new M.P.'s in about recalled membership so we're in really high and I think our message of stop BRACKS It is resonating Yeah well that's David Cameron including that referendum and all the things you've just said he's done your party a massive fine I mean thank God for brakes in respect of the Liberal Democrats. Well I don't think that was his intention let's face it I mean the point is Liberal Democrats have been clear we want to remain united kingdom we think that's best for our economy thinks is best for tackling international issues like climate change and we believe it's the only way forward and we are really a long and a war both the Labor Party with Corbin still here and of course Johnson hard pressed in no deal backstay what they would do for our country little Democrats want to unite our country when to bring our country together we're one nation liberal a holy hell and the only way we're going to do that is by stopping back Howard Howard revoking Article 50 re unite the country basically giving people the complete opposite of what they voted for in 2016. Joe Swinson our new leader is saying very very clearly is there in a general election if we became the majority government and won that election that will be a clear Democratic Monday because we're standing on a very clear position unlike the other parties so it would be a democratic vote and it would mean that we could get rid of this mess what a lot of people actually telling us what they voted level remain they just wanted to end I want to make it stop so only the little Democrats can offer that. Go into the future so you get a majority of. You revoke. Pack our bags and thank God it was all a bit inconvenient wasn't it let's just get on with how life was before 26 thing. Well no liberal Democrats want to improve our country and we want to invest in education for starters I mean the people being forgotten in all this think about those communities that just been left behind haven't had the the transport investment the housing investment if we can stop Breck's it will have a lot more money we'll see economic growth increase because we'll get those inversion vestments of not happened they will start happening and that will bring money to the Exchequer and we can start investing in our people again and little Democrats who have campaigned hard to tackle the climate emergency can start getting those critical environmental policies in so we can protect I think the. Heavyweights the deputy leader talking of heavyweights Yes nice little segue there I like it Chris you Fiats I simply always going to. Borrow a 2nd on him been straight out say violin in Las Vegas you can listen to every moment on 5 Live from 5 A and it could be a series last outing for a huge rematch with Dionne early next year and I suspect Fury's promoter frontwoman Warren I asked him why he's bothering with the fight with that wall and take a listen to this very simple The rematch is signed between kid and young so I was once I placed the next year the answer was I had signed up so you watch story I want to go on and he's got a lot of why November of 90 releases. Provides a Comes to prove that possible Saudi you next year probably in the meantime I call my sources back so and you know when you look at sausages last 20 China back he was 11 stone Have you only used the parts that he had to come by but by going up to 1st while he was young so I was restraining myself wife Naresh trying by the scope of why it often Everybody had marriage try and watch this. He's going to be much more shall we was. Yeah I mean life is a remarkable turnaround 2 years ago 28 stone is it now Tyson's best shape have that you've seen him and most of all the men. He really has really had to change a lot of my friends change things for the problems he went for some pretty easy things then he said. He was a. Saudi and Chinese wife for. A VERY doesn't want to well although he. Did. Her 1st income when I was. Getting so. Good of snow and I'm so broke even the food in the house is really cutting through in the States and I'm 3rd consecutive fight there looking more popular every week what is here is very. Serious that I think the school Shanel in the world and we've got a platform now where. All the 1st part of this is job on. I go Cory. Booker signed the stock which Roy probably roll the wall. For him which. We win situation. Here if you're Frank Frank Frank. Frank Warren. Preston 6 had cooled says Bill and. Friends say. That I'm going to Bristol sorry all over the place. Thanks guys. There it is right but let's have a great day thank you for your company this morning I'll be back tomorrow morning from 6 o'clock with Zara breads and they will see that I like. The news and I'm still this a C.B.C. I talk of the 5 live news on Liam Smedley David Cameron says some people will never forgive him for calling the referendum and at times interview the former prime minister says he's sorry for the uncertainty and division it's caused but he insists it was the right approach Ed Vaizey served as a minister under him and I'm going David Cameron I think it's worth pointing out you know that he won the 2015 election after promising a referendum and then he delivered on that referendum I find it all that he's become the sort of lightning stick for the last 3 years of chaos because that is not his fault that is the fault of parliament it's the fault of the prime minister who succeeded him well in the paper David Cameron also accuses Boris Johnson of behaving appallingly during the referendum campaign. Meanwhile liberal Democrats are gathering in Bournemouth for their annual conference Bragg's it is expected to dominate with the party celebrating the recent defections of conservative and Labor M.P.'s our political correspondent is Jonathan bike like other opposition parties the Liberal Democrats have recently prioritized attempts to put off a no deal Breck's it's over backing an early general election but over the next couple of days expect to hear the Liberal Democrats talking about getting into government and aspiring to win decisions that what to do if there's a hung parliament and how to make the most of the influence they could have in a 5058 text. Message right plus privacy notice B.B.C. Your colleague B.K. Slash 5 Live. Does fascinated by how affable the is. And how often a good stuff when you see a bit telly or he's playing these Karen easy back saying our all ball he's got a dark see if we can get to the roots of that so he's joining us and A is going to talk about the pub and the new thing he's on on Sky called Temple which will come under the 2nd as well as that.
