Laugh out loud or answer is it lots of love thank you so much for the text I want trouble 3 star you message with the word Judy yes there has been the small question of my navigational ability because you may have heard on the show the last week or so I have made a couple of trips Jersey after 40 years I went back to Jersey and Cornwall for the 1st time yesterday I was ferried around chauffeured by one of my producers our producer Dan He's a band but I had a role to play too on that journey. Well you know. Today's outing in full the last couple of hell again that's where I'm going to that . I never seen. Houses on the Hill sun glinting in the sunlight there are some dull clouds ahead there is put in the other way because of that upside down. Going to make you a. T.v. Set right. We have taken a wrong turn you know that you don't raise your eye brows let me turn to the links now yes it was because it was a look at the landscape that was confusing me was giving me a big enough wind I hate navigating I don't like that but that it's a place that sells. What. You know what are. We doing. You can't make it you can just go straight to London to bring us back to the same people. So Threadless turn right. Off that's narrow. He said this is the thing with seeing a lot more of coal this way with me now. Live about what we should do this is that he said some. Pretty a pelican Brown sign yes turn right so it's out. Even in the UK little ole Cobol I'm tryin to turn left and right. You guys have been in the Massif sun you could have seen us head south west. We found it way here then the 3 rails under our belt right it was good she says we were right that's the end of local park so we don't really want to go into the. He keeps pointing he's pointing really. Really. You know what we are actually still talking to each other Thank you to producer Dan. Brown I'm producing Richard but making that little piece work so nicely I look at a fool so look it is oh I oh the navigator because quite honestly it's I feel the pressure I don't know about you but I get this pressured feeling of oh if we don't get there it's all my fault and only the something my calm I can cope with I manage quite nicely on my own but when this somebody's watching me or driving me I fall to pieces so let is let is ole hailed the navigator John John is doing a fab job driving us from north to 2nd your the best we love you lots from sad the. Satine nag. And listen save Jenny Joel and Sam. All hail definitely the Saturn mag. Definitely you were me I would travel 3 star you message with the word Jew. This is what we sat nav as the navigator. Pace. And have a little patience and we all should because tonight we'll all hail the navigator This is from Hannah she says I would love to praise my father in law who navigated in inverted commas myself and my son I was driving to play school Radstowe Last night however there can be no praise because ha oh I see I would love to praise but that can be no it's because off way there he started to argue with the sat nav so now. Oddly that I could no longer hear what she was saying. So it's like I took a wrong turn and we went through some of the narrowest roads I've ever drew a good navigator is worth their weight in gold on that basis my father in law is the equivalent of a gold filling blessid he says it is and you haven't dropped him in it there you didn't give him a name check have I but your father in law or your father out law. I love it. Keeton going I'd love to give you a name check tonight so where are you going who's in the car and who is the navigator the driver gets all the glory mind you Simonton a caravan. I think we should give you the glory for that yes the navigator is the one tonight 3 Start your message with the word Georgie only if it's safe to do so you know so call me out 34530858 now a pub in North Yorkshire is thought we one of the luckiest in the country after 3000000 pound jackpots that they face a lottery when basically the landlord of the model pub in Scunthorpe and 2 pals with the 3 winners they started playing after one of his regulars won a 1000000 pounds twice and then agreed to share the winnings if one of them hit it lucky So Simon Spawn's picks up the story what makes a pub a lucky pub perhaps it's a perfect pint Perhaps it's the nice surroundings or perhaps it's 3 millionaire wins from the people who drink here yeah that would do it but. Yes it's happened twice before the mullet in Scunthorpe to the same man David he scooped a 1000000 pound win in 2013 and then did it again in 2015 and that was enough to set a gentlemen's agreement going between landlord brook and his friends Andrew n a 1st and. That he's given them 825000 pounds each is all a quick word with the I. Think it might also vary all over the weekend to. Into the Wild and said look what prompted one of the quick this is a boy told me I woke up to our little cup you know Rush 'd was brought up what a bloke get on a property and then he rings me or I was in bed and he said he was going to come a pick me up and I said You're joking I said if you are. To be gods because this is one of the 6 sisters. When I was talking like. What was double winning Dave's reaction to the triple a new the put the real on. The in the gentleman. I'm just on the moon for me come back to the mud it's really great you know what even says he's already decided to leave his money is when he just wants to make sure the be deemed safe before. It is an incredible story 3000000 now wins and you know I've got that 1000000 now on the line eons on the. Evening 8 and. What does it feel like to be a winner. All right. What is so lucky about the mouth this incredible. We've always up these stuff down a coke saves. And now you want to whole load of money yes I have this and you moving on from the pub how difficult decision was that to make out he met that. Person always and I'm so glad I'm a public. And I want excellent x. And was the 1st thing you're going to buy with that money I don't know me so robbed me of what was there when I went about it. When and why now I will just say oh my word how many of you go how many children are you called for oh my what will you do one for one you to do for the other 3. And what are you giving the big chunks of money away it was an amazing thing to do just friends just made friends. Nearly 9 years out way down and yeah. We had an agreement we could all have each It was the Friday not. Going off on a chance to say. We're just a great family was one big That was after each other well you're a very honorable man and what does it feel like actually breaking the news to the guys fell we did it last. I mean Rush was actually all went back and we are gone pick it up bring it back down. And all the way down I said what I don't want to talk don't worry about it was I want to get the puck goal so. What were they like when you you know when you break the news they don't blame it 1st follows one of. Us as well as you don't want to say. Yeah but I think James that he didn't. And have you been lucky in other areas I mean you mention the football team and stuff the pool table you personally you do you consider yourself a lucky guy and not really go work like everybody else. And you will still be doing the other part so you will still be going to you know your place a bit of pressure of that doesn't it a lot of pressure Yes Well thank you for spending some time with me tonight. And enjoy your winnings and don't let those children take too much of your money alright. For the triple jackpot winning the skulls are just amazing Temptations and get ready now Simon and Maria sat nag and the kids need to run and Jensen are heading from Cornwall to. Kew death in Wiltshire thank you for the call she says I've got family in what I would say woman in Norfolk she says it's pronounced when in fact he's I watch yes I knew you could see me right I'm not so much of an idiot thanks to you. Women didn't. Thank you all. So please even to call will once. A year is hey listen this could be the start of my 30 times in 30 years Jill thank you and Tony said Enjoy yourself in my still being grounded it was lovely. Kind of like a mega mix of coal coming up later on in the show so stand by for that and you know I was given a heads up about the blue book shelf the bookends I saw it. In full. Yeah just. To welcome you know what it's like. Get down now she just to let you know we will be looking back on the most incredible career of brace for thought 70 odd years in show business and you know I'm just trying to think of all the things that he did because I The Generation Game are another really well the price is right ha Aloa. And there was the something at London Palladium I think I was just a little bit too young to have got that I was kind of Jim Dale's era as opposed to Brucey but we'll take a look back at his life I got a lovely message actually from David in Lee's father email he says it really is so sad to hear the news of the death of so brutally He says I had such a happy childhood and one of the many reasons was watching Bruce Lee on Saturday nights on the Generation Game definitely stank you Bruce says David Yes and David thank you for your e-mails and I Georgie at b.b.c. Don't kowtow u.k. I was really. Lucky to have interviewed him at length Yorkshire Television many years ago now and he was a true gent and a very very funny man in days and just kind of I think he was so grateful to have got where he got and you know it's hard work as you know very talented multitalented singer you know song and dance man amongst everything else that came with him and his comic timing was just him just incredible just brilliant and we will look back at Bruce's life David to do to stay tuned and we'll also take a look back at my day in Cornwall today more my morning call more. Not the fact that I was sitting in an airport early get. To you know the stuff before that will I have made it to hell again the last gardens of Halligan It's an incredible place we moved to Parker outside it did I actually find the gardens themselves there all that to come now and I know what you're thinking we've had some inclement weather around the country so where better to get more information about the weekend weather than the b.b.c. Weather Center but who is in the poll tonight. Do. This tell. Us What. I think actually I think I messed that up forks Yeah that's the 2nd time running as well I mean cold so you need more practice on that I certainly do don't tie practice makes perfect uptown full skin to give it to you like I'm going to have I'm going to crack it in a minute you know that you Ok I'm going to join in I listen your Whether I'm saying your weather because you are the weather man and held me up good and proper today oh yeah lightning strikes and all sorts at the airport so trains were running oh my word it's been an incredible journey Chris a lot of thunderstorms across England today actually quite a few storms so quite a chance of catching one yeah. Well what's going to happen over the next 24 hours 48 hours for the weekend Well we've still got some of these storms around at the most a big clump of rain actually going across Wales that's going to move across the middle ins and into East Anglia over the next few hours and it could just about squeeze its way as far south as London so I guess I'm a fairly heavy rain for a time overnight the other thing is it's going to be a quite a windy night as well that will keep the temperatures up I was looking at lows of around 30 degrees or so now looking at Saturday's weather Ok so a day of sunshine and showers again but the showers will be quite. Widespread the b. Big gaps between them better chance of dodging them and then the sunshine look at temperatures ranging from between 17 to 21 Celsius there in the sunshine after the wind is not going to feel too bad 2nd half of the weekend will for many visits probably the better of the 2 days Sunday a lot of dry weather certainly for central and eastern parts of England the north of England staying fine with some spells of sunshine probably start to feel a little bit on the humid side and across the southwest later in the afternoon will probably start see the cloud to thicken up will start to feel a bit more humid and will start to see some rain come again but I think still for a lot of us on Sunday a fair amount of dry weather to look forward to so a bit of a mixed bag showers on Saturday but probably the better of the 2 days of the weekend on Sunday Georgie Ok Now tonight we are all hail the navigator yet says the driver always gets the credit it says in NY on the show is the navigator lots of messages coming in about who the navigator is and the ladies among us have been called sat. But if you only get it navigate thing you know what I'd a story from before the time of sat navs Yeah I was well I was working as a forecaster for the Army in Wiltshire and I was driving back on a 3 o 3 buses road to goes past Stonehenge Yeah and I was just driving along big jewel carriage way on came the traffic announcement big crush I had 5 miles accuse and it was an exit right by me sorra tried my luck on that problem is I didn't have a sat nav because they aren't being invented I've got a map in the car because I've been directing people into a party that had the previous weekend and so that was at home so I was without anything I didn't know where I was but what I did know is that there would be thunder clouds and I knew exactly which way the thunderstorms were going and I basically followed the storm the storm you can on your home. Or you scout that is that is major It's pretty sad as well I think that's incredible you still. Full of good. I will. Yeah she definitely raw I'm going to give it no ego and your old fame shared here we go. I'm trying to add Chris. I'm soundpost going to give you cell phones killing. Telcos. Yes. Thank you. Like I know she's 22 now but it's like me and the gays are if not got away for well for 9 years together so you know we well to be able we had a night in Edinburgh I think once we had a couple of months in France but that was over 7 years ago. Does she think she's going to come on my holiday pole I don't think so I don't I am going to be able to break the news to her thanks ever so much though Georgie at b.b.c. Dot co dot u.k. When you e-mail me tonight when you call 034531858 tribes on the line in Phantom trade phone I'm sorry yes. How do you do you go in the Nelson pub on the High Street that. Now I can I say could not living just outside the town itself Oh really it's. Getting down there is a good incentive a staggering one could be a problem. But Jack see the truth so how you will be able navigational skills that drive. Fashion I mean I've been a coach driver I've held my license for 42 years oh wow. We didn't have sat nav spots to use as a mark one eyeball a map large scale map yet a sat nav doesn't know I'm in the coach it doesn't understand the facts I've got 44 foot vehicle what is 12 feet so no signal for a while. And then is a minor problem with white bridge Heights except for the cautionary tale we had a driver some years ago took a slightly shorter coach on the top down to Cornwall in the fall of this and he did 9000 pounds worth of damage on a rock long wall because the culture is wider than the road to watch the road signs and he just follow the sound on its side and ask for it in a car so it. Sorry can't go a new track sorry was the so you can buy sat navs there are some for truck drivers when I can put in their white height length but they're incredibly expensive and of course you have to update them every year and by the by the add ons increase are not cheap either 9 times out of 10 you're buying it not the company. And you must have been all over the place stress in your college I think to some amazing place because I was so lucky back in the late eighty's early ninety's I spent 15 years driving rock bands around a lot of places you wouldn't take tourists. Through the night in Norway and washed to watch the Northern Lights and I've driven over the road for brick the British the biggest the tallest bridge in Europe with sunrise coming up over the Alps things of that you don't forget and you had a new coach then which were all bands of you had. Well we said the company specialized in all of us or think you might be out with. You might be on an exhibition one way or a lot faster the next. You might find yourself going away for 3 months one night and or something like that. It was crazy the biggest hole I got involved with because there were several companies involved with Michael Jackson's dangerous. 26 buses and 52 trucks and 3 stages we never met mine who shot health may sing the best 2 I did personally with Grayson's reports on them oh such a nice guy to work for 25 years that the worst thing is you get. The anniversary dates come out and go we release the album when it's $27.00 verses you think you are joking already. The 1st band I went out with. Supertramp I flew to Berlin to cover a driver support with someone then God Christy. I'm sure this is fantastic but again you know in those. Programs we had to strive as gave us distances biology and approximate times and because there was more diesel in there for the technicians he told them what power ports are available power stations are. Telling us is but you have to buy maps street plans of these towns so you can find these hotels because as you mentioned music is pretty unforgiving they don't be wandering around town after night looking for a hotel or getting from a hotel to a gig so. You have to be sort of one die head of them checking things out making sure that you can get it even if it meant getting all the promoter into them or maybe arranging to make a taxi on the edge of town to guide you in it because you just put it on expensive because there's no such thing as a fat man so you have lived a life thank you so much love coming on the radio talking to me it's been. Well nectar Well it always said it's all my mother so tell me where you are it's always said I would invite you round for dinner but now you work evenings Well sorry. I've missed my chance clearly. Not I know you have a lovely weekend. Thanks to. My stumping granny a milestone. Can you believe in the back. Yes only Helen obligates of police tonight b.b.c. . Radio for the northeast. Paul Simon come back and stay it's just approaching 20 past day here on the b.b.c. Listening to Georgie tonight and very sad news today of the death of Sabrina's Forsyth his family said that he passed away earlier at the age of 89 and this is someone that I followed on television I loved watching I Love The Generation Game I love the play hard I love Strictly with him and he was just kind of an all round entertainer from start to finish I've mentioned earlier that I was very lucky to have interviewed him and he was great and he was very encouraging to me in my presenting. Career basically and so it kind of was like oh my word that states is quite a big thing and if I got a text earlier from an e-mail sort of from David saying you know that's me really sound I used to watch a much older love the Generation Game Saturday night so we're just going to take a look back at Sabrina's forethought Forsyth's life in show business David Soluto takes a look back at this this legend of show business. Week comes to t.v. History Bruce Forsyth was simply the face of Saturday night Strictly Come Dancing the last hurrah in a career that went back movement 17 years. The boy Bruce the mighty Assem was just the beginning of a life of song dance and come and play. The Lead. Business that's exactly what he had you know those are things he could call on. He could handle it and when things went wrong he could step in and put them right and of course both shows a lot like I'm not 20 some years of. Live. You know right now. Sunday night at the London Palladium in the sixty's was his big break beat the clock showed that he could make a game show must watch t.v. And turn members of the public to primetime entertainment maybe. I. Just I. Know where showcase that talent better than the Generation Game in the seventy's I have a Phyllis here all right a jolly good. Oh you that I'm still with was filled with what all right but. There's another bunker travel ride. Nice to see you didn't do well the catchphrases became part of national life. A suite. If you want to be with Among the tributes today the director general of the b.b.c. Lord whole said he was one of our greatest entertainers he defined Saturday nights . I after that play your cards right on i.t.v. Another successful game show I do I mean this is the weapons of mass destruction will eventually be found in Iraq well be nice to see them to see them I. Don't have I got news for you he reminded t.v. What a pro he was I if he had a regret it was not making it in America in films and his main love and his song and dance man. This could save the whole ship just there was I mean like a generation right now with things let. Them know your local. Iconic . More about what iconic in all of this. That's the problem I was talking about to Bruce Forsyth 1st appeared on the b.b.c. . 70 years later he was still that still the king of Saturday night. Live. You know I was remember him doing a dance with Sammy Davis Jr and it was just amazing just amazing David Stiller So take a look back at the life of sobre Forsyth and you had some of the voices and Jimmy Tarbuck and Michael Parkinson as well paying tribute has one of some classic breezy moments of course you're listening to tonight on the b.b.c. Cos England the channel on is this is a new choose from LP broke forgive and forget. With sweet apology. Many times. That. Now Hebrew text and then he will forgive and forget this is a quick text from Mark an Eden holes where they say memory of the Bruce Forsyth a true t.v. Legend and a big part of people's television as we were growing up as he would say it's nice to see him all bless you for that thank you on the take say 123 Start your message Jordy Now you heard my sat nav from the games a little bit earlier on in the show well it was on route to the last gardens of Halligan in Cornwall somewhere I was very keen to visit after being in for a last night well I finally found the last gardens of Halligan and I'm with George elsewhere the chief exec luncheon director managing director and thank you so much for the to tell me who found HELOC and when it was rediscovered which we'd like to say 25 years ago by systems met he'd been living in London and decided to move out to the country with his wife and young children and was looking to set up a rare breeds farm and he met a local gentleman he said you've got to come and see this old ruined completely overgrown garden and they quite literally had to hack their way in and discover this rambling completely overgrown covered in huge trees buildings all disintegrated but the bio needs of an old garden and he was fascinated. There are so many Guard units within the garden but there's one particular room that really strikes a chord with from the book. The Thunder box room I think he discovered on about his visit in and they could sense this sort of old structure. And they gently ease their way in and then discovered a war on the far side and on it they saw these names and dated 1914 and after a little bit of. Well actually they had to research it all out they realise that they were the names of the gardeners who went off to war in the 1st World War and very sadly the majority of them never came back and the Squire who lived in a large house had a gun at the time Jack from Maine said I can no longer live here. The place is haunted it's full of ghosts and I can't do it and he moved to Italy and since that day $920.00 s. Know Trymaine has actually lived on the estate and that brought about the demise of the whole state for Tim to discover will rediscover in the ninety's and discovered in 192625 years yeah that's right we 25 years we've we've since we've opened to the public it was a couple of years later that we actually opened so that's the 25th anniversary we've just literally had it has the majority of the still little bits with where restoring But it's a constant maintenance that you have to keep up their old buildings built in old fabrics and a very labor intensive to maintain that. When Tim found those names he said we want to restore everything we want to bring and do it all in the name of those gardeners to keep alive their way of life to keep alive the traditions that they have to keep alive the skills and the time in horticulture was quite matter of fashion. Productive gardens everyone was saying that too labor intensive You know you have to employ too many gardeners we have over $22.00 gardeners and that doesn't include a maintenance team to maintain all the buildings that's just to maintain their traditional ways of gardening and look after all the rare heritage plants we have over $500.00 heritage and rare plants that we tend to fall here it is amazing I mean you've got a pineapple house and to see pineapples you can Britain is just a credible job we're sitting in the Italian garden which is just stunning in the waterfront in the Middle East it's beautiful it's very beautiful the Talon Garden was the last piece of modern garden that was created in the early 1900 s. Jack trimming the last Squire loved it early and went to live there for the rest of his days but he wanted a little piece of it here so he created the Italian garden just backing on to the man yard so you have the whole work and all the productive gardens to your left and here you sit in a little bit of paradise catching the sun dreaming that you're in a foreign land and you do and I love the fact that there is that working garden that kitchen garden and then you walk through under the listeria and you're into the most glorious long garden with her patients borders and you can just see the roots of the House and the stables as you would say there's a real difference and there's a marked difference between those 2 gardens this is all around the garden and you have this juxtaposition between sort of back of house and front of house where where where the people of the house would have come and gone and where they wanted to be seen where they wanted to for Grant and the real work house we obviously all belong and in the work. We love tendering the plants taking care of all about that's what keeps us on this but you have these beauty. Spectacular highs of horticultural. Gardens to relax in at the same time and the sundial garden was written up in horticultural journals in the 1818 eighties as being the finest sebaceous in the country they were quite spectacular in their day. We do use modern varieties of plants in there because they have moved on and and generally. Generally for the better. But it's gardens and we think to that high standard I'm not quite saying it's the finest sebaceous in the country but we're working at it there are so many lovely little nations as well that possum shed which I am so in awe of all those wonderful till hard on the wall is bees who Terra Cotta pots and it's just a lovely bench that you could work at for hours but also the beehive holes they were amazing these haven't always will be so important to gardeners and we are actually a center for the Cornish black be here. We are a breeding ground and we try on again at that with the 1st World War a lot of Abi keepers actually perished and so a lot of our bees were lost at the 1st World War And as a consequence they tended to bring in European bees to replace and the European beads can't quite cope with our climate. They're. Not as hairy and they can't find damp weather so they've tended to get disease and and the like so we're working hard to reproduce black b. Who are hairier can fly in clement weather and tend to prosper without disease in this so that's so important to us to make sure pollination. You get a little bit of honey in red in return but you also That's not the key point in the wax is actually another vital factor particularly in times gone. We haven't touched on the rare because you have some fabulous red berries and I believe become a farmer this week. We have we just had our one of our white parks has just given the 1st white part child but we've actively had a calf and we're very excited when that we have a growing number of it was Tim's original intention to have this rare breeds we preserve the plants and the heritage plants and we also feel it's very important with the animals as well they might not appear important to us at the moment but protecting the biodiversity of the animals is just as important as the actual plants Well thanks so much for giving me the guidance and it's just so lovely I'm so glad I found Halligan you're welcome back any time. Live Oh oh how do I love that chain when will I be famous here on Georgie tonight right across England on the Channel Islands lovely to hear that again and I'm sure if you were brusque fan you will be excited as cited about The Big Reunion at the o 2 this weekend I wonder how much and Luke a feeling about the concerts Well luckily for us we can ask Matt evening say good evening to you lot Now listen why is your brother could have all these are actually . Fairly set to go smash some drums and get ready for the o 2 and he's been rehearsing so practice practice practice practice Yeah they say you know that song when will I be famous when did you realize that you and your brother were famous because it was a just an epic sheen of the eighty's for me it was it was a funny moment because we it was just quite a humble moment really it was that we I was in 31 for commercial way in Peckham and I was coming out and just a couple of doors down from where we lived this is this is this goes it she was actually really in trouble I feel very wide pressure she had. Like a panic attack or sighs I was like really way their way I'm just going to get you know what you know there are many doors and see my my and he's a male Ciscos freakin Ellen Kemah she wasn't there and really why we look left and right nobody there anyway about 15 minutes later there were 2020 goes outside the door doing the same exact thing oh and my mom said I think that's because you said . That's because your nose swooning at your door it but it was like it was a bit scary scary if you know why they doing it is very strange and the other strange thing is it was seems very very normal when we you know it is they just but it's that we've had some of my 6 incredible experiences throughout my life and I think that's the 1st moment when I thought Oh strange and then I would say secondly . We did a show called The Roxy. And up in New Castle in Newcastle and. And they can remember being pushed over and they said they had been pushed I was said to be it was it was like oh and we couldn't and all the cameras you know the big camera Diane and they were getting put. Out and. And we we haven't even got here that point is just because something happened it was just some kind of strange cosmic energy is I mean it's very fast I don't think you handled it well I want to was like like growing up in Peckham and we actually moved so many times I mean Peckham Camberwell Mitchum. Just everywhere Can we were in company for 4 years we went to each other we we move for way too many times to be honest with you we do you try and avoid the bailiff's is that we can Ok how we live that's why we can't leave because we're trying to get rid of the play let. Me raise it wasn't easy but it was to a motorist but it was I mean that's where the single of the new single came from is basically the reason we wrote it. Is because of the so many reasons because of that but we're. I think that when you're twins and you're moving all the time you have this sense of protection you have this the wall around you and that's when we were growing up me and my brother definitely had this this wall around each other the protection because it going to a new school you know it's like you walk into a new school. So we always had this kind of this wall of double trouble kind of element to us if you mess with my brother you mess with me and yeah you Mr me miss my brother so it was his double trouble really yeah so when did you decide that actually this is how you're going to go forward is 20 brothers and superstars wearing leather jackets the jeans the t. Shirts like that they had to be so we we were in Africa spam when we were 12 and 12 years old yeah seriously yeah for ironically. The fellow that we're in the band with back then my brother is there he's paid and he's remained a family friend and he's actually playing caution in the air to this we can we were so from back then and also there was and there is no lie and he's come on ball and so we stayed you know we tried to keep some of the people that we that that were with this shop that were open at Wembley Stadium Yeah we've asked him to come and we just wanted it so we're going to say it's like a reunion isn't it yeah we are perfect you can forget you can't forget this and I want to talk about the shows that are coming out this weekend Ok I play the new single is please yes love can make you fly this is brought on Georgia tonight across England and the channel is on the b.b.c. I'm talking to Matt Goss because looks practicing the drums his that you. Oh my word that is so man I love to make you fly listening to Georgie's not the b.b.c. Across England in the channel on is it sprawls the heaven's sakes Matt goes to say how proud are you of that sheen Matt because that is a real different sound from what I was used to in the eighties and what we've seen over the last couple of decades as well I think I'm very proud of it because you know I think that also we could have come with a big stump in track and you know which would have probably fit and ticked all the boxes a bit easier but we were just like you know what this is about me and my brother we lost them so it is very very important to us the most important address in our entire lives he's 37 cool for driving Camberwell that was the only address in our lives actually made us feel like we were home because I had my granddad had my on Sally my brother me and my beautiful beloved mom and we there was so much music came out 37 call for drought you have no idea like cream free. Stevie won the Donny Hathaway Frank Sinatra Mel Torme made that King Cole all these incredible is incredible music came out of that and broached dinners with white pepper. You know it and and me live getting up to no good and just I mean friends you know neighbors mom and and I was raised as you know that was lovely Rita and love all. Around and Randy retold all that now Soledad was. Still going oh it's going to be single man let me have a moment where you know where you are you do what you need i'm Ok. Now listen is this a one off this weekend too or is this it's down to something you know take ever going to see lots more of brass I think you're going to I think this is we've taken the pressure of myself I think we put a lot of pressure on ourselves even 9 months ago when we were like Ok he's got mean this this and this and now I've realized and I think my brothers realize that this is really just putting some oil through the engine revving the engine and we've got the. Saturday and Sunday the engines going to is going to run perfectly and then who knows where the cars going to go but we will never break up again and we've got the 1st song this is just like just a moment in time and next record might be absolutely bonkers but I can't imagine there won't be music but if the fans there and they want it then we're going to give it to him but we're going anyway no testing has said we will get new music material that we can we'll be able to get some classic cross we've got almost 2 hours of his own to back I mean what's not to like him back was not the brain is not bringing the I'm the boss now listen that would be so good if he did actually turn up with a wig Wouldn't it be just that it was strap on the back. So you know this is a you got remarkable cheekbones thank you they did very well thank you very much a happy man that Oh my well maybe your listeners can go on you also go so Instagram you know. Take on those and I'd like to. I think. Well. You. Look. Like. You. Want to be an. Unhappy You're listening to the b.b.c. Across England and the channel. And losing my religion this is from Phil got a top tip on the map reading from he says trick when using a maps and navigate us kids a map it's a paper thing with lots of squiggly lines on it. If you're going down the map left is right and right is left if you're going up the map right is right and left is left try the ultimate map test drive across London using the 8 is that Bill as a whole differently thank you that all hell fell on the navigational front just going past 25 to 10 here on the B.B.C.'s where sharing our navigational story. And where you are where are you going Midge earning who is navigating all hail the navigator when triple 3 started messing with Georgia that was mighty sorry about that now that my b.b.c. Introducing artists of the Week this week have been the brilliant Catalin caring from Teesside siblings Helen and were in the studio with me to perform live on Wednesday where little Chaz Well there are another 6 brothers and sisters. So it was quite a shock to them obviously when they revealed they were pursuing a career in music I think it's when we decided that we didn't want a real job that night let me say and how did you broach this with your parents I don't want to real job I just wanna sing and I took a walk around but she's. She can't really get in Stockton on Tees and I was and she seen the crowd like sing along and not like right and so you know oh you took her out sorry yeah yeah I accept that children it was something that was on me yeah yeah it was just the whole Big Book felt the get bored of it saying oh yeah so when you play is it just you know do you have a band that back you or you have Yeah they were busy tonight they were. Writing but we have we have a full band we have and it's. And of the top yes business yes it was the other 6 of us on stage so you've got the 3 musketeers when you're done you're going to 5 times a day and do you have a fallout. Yeah pretty much. 7 impossible also the things going on. You know. I don't think about it when you read the stress you get stressed about like just things that don't matter I mean we were yeah you know so much I mean things I probably wouldn't say yeah strangers legal counsel on the microphone Yes Yes I'd say that to be quite Yeah because you feel you can get away with it can't you can see blood related Yeah but a lot of times it goes to the heart and soul so it's funny how do you ever fall in and not spoken to each other for a while yeah the last 2 I mean how didn't speak for the day I think it was really referenced a site that's big I really only I think around yeah a big big row and I think you can remember what it was over can you all can you not really just just atmosphere and you know put a little fisticuffs in my brain Yeah well you can see that literally was this is. In Germany because religion cooped up in a. Pressure of it all I think we just go on each other's nerves a bit then slap. It was all we made I think is going to happen on the way back tonight is going to be are you going to miss me already released clueless and no Catalan came where does the name come from I mean tree and it comes from and go between songs so that I and the Australian band and we were just looking for a band name and we came across Scotland can like sounds good you know we got to do that we had a gig on the night and we needed to ban them for meetings like really quickly I was always like school for an i Pod but actually a small mean in the not. Really that's not better that's it Ok And how long have you been captain came 56 years oh yeah I think so yeah other things going well I mean I know you're part of the b.b.c. Introducing But are things going well in terms of way perform and yeah I think so like because I was here when we started I was and in college in Jos even a so and there was kind of like a gap. So to speak so we didn't really get started until they released our 1st album and but yeah we just enjoy in the to and then yeah getting to see lots of different places yeah yeah yeah and you care really happy the fanbase like people commit gigs and buy cd's and of a merchandise so it's grim I keep this going yeah there's like it's difficult to get people to come out and clearly going to like we're pretty like you have on our farm a great feeling to try to keep building it really in Ventura couldn't resist Well tell me about a savior Yes this is a song called Last album yeah our new single which comes out 8th of September is about a long distance relationship I was in. I was just going to say it was about someone rescuing you think they could save you you know myself you know what would you say . You're going to. Come in with the harmonies that's what I don't seek you don't listen to. The south coast and I have excuse me Tom What's been your favorite part of the 40 festival today definitely the red herring. 369 red aren't all mine was red not red not all of it going up in the air soaring up into the clouds it was amazing they came from behind us all look they're all going out there joining up really nice and scratching up nice and close in that wonderful article nation that is brilliant the attach a have arrived on the Talk of the town back then all playing their instruments their little then by a gentleman. Quite alarming a lot Donald Trump and. The other guys in the band dressed as part of the North Korean army they are making their way up the jetty and I can see in the distance a huge. Pasti a huge Cornish pasty it's about 2 foot by 3 foot. Piping. I don't know how lonely these boys a bit. But clearly. 3rd few strugglers I'm here comes the cold days. Day. When I see there's a line now it's what we call him. It would. Describe that to me. Not seeing. Patrick. Even if he could cross people yeah as the crab. One right now we're in what we call the Mediterranean so he's one of the 2 giant biomes that we have and this one gives you all the environments of Mediterranean country so where we're standing right now it's as though you're on holiday in Italy or Greece or Spain so surrounded by these amazing geraniums and all these trees you have to have a Polish person of which I have tried and I'm one of. These today. We really go for quality stay and traditional pasty we have the best pastry chef proper good meaty chunks stay because the most way to eat them not only is not love which need to eat past 8 the crust is designed to hold it because there's a mind is just so used to hold the crust in the home and then eventually a mature person the pinch here that thing again. It's my favorite part so I am yeah I might yeah but tell us about your butler States love your plastics I love another state I just need a little bit closer to the really the edge and it's very dark here but you can just see the old line on some of that there's a little you know coming in engine running no sound of course and just in his I don't know what they call them I used to say as a child and as a teenager and step down and cuts and I have to think I'm ready about Leo and I put in stop and stand down and I know all about piling up the bill to come up but it was a please the man is in charge and wants to make sure everything's in ship shape condition is that Captain Paul Thomas Leipold alive I love the scrambled eggs on the shelves thank you dressed up tomorrow is today we do try to make an effort so there's a great times great fun and what exactly I mean I know it's just lovely to be part of it thank you so much for having us coming as there's a privilege to have less you are going to be washing up plants and things and they make a fabulous couple things we've been following.
