We have to have a wellfunctioning system. We have a mature system. So our networks are built out and theyre mature, so there is smaller benefit replacing exis existing technology. Were trying to maximize speed which in many urban areas is not the way to go and actually want to show traffic down. If we dont invest properly were going end up at an economic disadvantage. But if we continue to invest the way weve been investing over the past 40 years, were also going to be at an economic disadvantage because we simply cant afford to replicate what weve done in the past. Thats what we need rather than one size fits all. Thats what weve got with our Healthcare System where were having one website that doesnt work. If we had 50 different website, i guarantee you most of them would be up by now. I have a concern about the one size fits all as well. One size fits all over the last 40 years has been the automobile. The automobile simply doesnt work for a lot of people. Senior citizens after a certain age they cannot drive. People who are disabled. People in high density areas. Our wounded veterans, and people under the age of 16. Weve decided that vast numbers of our people are going to be excluded. And the auto only solution were simply taxing people saying you must buy a car. You must buy insurance and i consider that to be a tax as well. I think thats why people have fallen out of love with the automobile, and theyre moving to the inner cities, and thats where were seeing a boon in the economic charge in our country.
