I think theres a difference obviously between i kind of personal morning and the sort of tech no relationships that people have had constructed around their relationship with the queen. Well, i think what im talking about is the way that the coverage of the queens death and the funeral have sort of occluded this long history of the, of the crowd. Of the monarchs complicity with and reliance on histories of empire on the violence of empire. And refills extraction that was, you know, pot and possibly colonial processes. So what, what would you like to see then in the coverage less focus on the person and, and more explanation of what the British Empire was including its, its more somber pages. Yes, i think so. I mean, i, i didnt watch all of the funeral today and, you know, ive heard of it in an out of coverage, but there are plenty of voices from very britain and its for my former colonies from countries. And the one is now the commonwealth, who are writing about this history of the crown, intimate relationships with colonial expansion, with, with the ways that, that the crime has benefited from empire. And also with, you know, these communities and talking, continue have always talked about and reminded us that these legacies of empire continue with us now. So what does it tell us then perhaps that the, that the coverage wasnt so much focused on the historical aspect of this, or what you bring up and focused more on the passing of the person, the passing of the queen and the institution of the monarchy. I mean, i think that this is the coverage, it sort of reminds me again of, of the historical representations of the pump and spectacle of the crown that were transmitted across the empire vision and visual culture. But also in these types of professions and pageantry and starkly, they were ways of reinforcing colonial rule, favorable ways of kind of creating a sense of empire and a sense of connections. I think here what weve seen and so in some of this coverage is very mythologized, things of that, of the monarchy. But mythologized being the best, the 2nd. And its a mythologized thing that quite conveniently allows us to sideline these other histories, you know, may very stock moment of that was the fact that not long after the clean passed away, there were protests around the, the killing of a young, black british man, chris cobb, and you know that, that very real trauma was really kind of sidelined by, by all of this focus on, on, on the death of, of a monarch.
