From July 31, travellers will need to book “red flights” home and enter managed isolation (MIQ) upon arrival.
Travellers from all Australian states other than NSW will not need to go into managed isolation upon their return to NZ if they get back before 11:59pm on July 30.
All travellers eligible for “green” (quarantine-free) flights to New Zealand are required to return a negative PCR or TR-PCR test no more than 72 hours before their first international flight. Travellers cannot transit through NSW.
