Trafficking charge sends woman to jail

A 31-year-old Brantford woman caught in a drug raid on Walnut Street in 2018 was sentenced to a year in jail when she recently appeared in Ontario Court.
Nicole Isobell Ball was one of four people arrested in the May 25 raid when police found 111 grams of crack and powdered cocaine.

One man who was arrested had only recently got out of jail. He eventually was sentenced to two years in prison.
Last month, Ball pleaded guilty to possession of illegal drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
