Trafalgar Square is being earmarked for a 12,500-capacity fan park for the upcoming European Championship.
The proposed fan park would screen all the Euro 2020 matches being played at Wembley Stadium during the tournament — all three of England’s group games, one last 16 tie, both semi-finals and the final.
If Gareth Southgate’s side progress from Group D, their potential last 16 and quarter-final games will be played abroad and will be screened at the Trafalgar Square fan park.
What are the plans for Trafalgar Square during the tournament?
If approved, Trafalgar Square will be able to house up to 12,500 people during the Euros.
