Grammy Award winning funk master Trae Pierce and his band the T-Stones are returning to Savannah for a funky good time at Barrelhouse South.
Trae Pierce, who earned four Grammys playing with the Blind Boys of Alabama, began his storied music career performing in gospel groups as a young boy, but then at 13 years old he began working with the legendary Ohio Players.
“By the time I was about 17 I started playing with the Ohio Players,” said Pierce. “I knew ‘em since I was smaller because at first I was hanging out and being their helper.
