Traditions passed through the generations

Memories of Christmas
One of the beautiful things about Christmas is the traditions—new and old—that get passed along through the generations. Memories are created with each passing year. I checked in with a few folks I’ve interviewed over the past year to invite their reflections on Christmas—personal meanings and memories that they may have.
For Eileen Mullins, owner of Sir Renna Tea in downtown Lincoln, Christmas is a time for family and feast. Being centrally located, Eileen hosts the gathering, with children and relatives arriving from Chicago, St Louis, and beyond. It is a time to eat, play games, and simply enjoy each other’s company.
