Traditional Dene ceremony marks first production at Nechalacho rare earth mine

The Nechalacho Rare Earth mine hosted last week the ceremonial commissioning of the sensor-based ore sorter at Canada’s first producing rare earth mine, in Canada’s Northwest Territories.
Vital Metals Limited (ASX: VML) began rare earth production at its Nechalacho project, 110 kilometres east of Yellowknife in early July.

Members of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation joined in the event and witnessed the first production of rare earth concentrate from one of the world’s richest deposits.
