Trader Joe's to open new Delaware store in 2 weeks

Trader Joe's in the Christiana Fashion Center is opening Friday, April 30.
It will be the first grocery store in the shopping center, built near the Christiana Mall in 2015, and the second Trader Joe's in Delaware, joining a store on Concord Pike that opened more than 18 years ago.
Trader Joe's is taking less than half of the space formerly occupied by Saks Off 5th, an original fashion center tenant that closed in October 2019. The grocery store will take the left storefront, which is the smaller space at about 14,000 square feet.
Trader Joe's will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
