Voter registration for the May 9, 2022, national and local elections has continued despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since January 2020, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) has processed a total of 3.16 million applications as of April 15, 2021. Among these, at least 1.58 million are first-time registrants.
Eligible applicants have until September 30, 2021, to register. It's the first step in Filipinos' civic duty to vote during elections and have their voices heard.
The dashboard below shows the status of the ongoing voter registration. You may click on each province on the map for more information.
The map compares the number of first-time voters for the 2022 polls to the new registrants who signed up during the last registration period, held from August to September 2019, originally meant for the now-postponed barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections.
