Toxicology report fails to yield clues to Lafayette man's death
Tippecanoe County Coroner Carrie Costello said a recently received toxicology report did not indicate any drugs in Driver's body at the time of his death. There was some alcohol detected, but Costello said that might be attributed to the decomposition process.
Driver's family reported him missing in December. He was known to hang out on the North End and the Lafayette Transitional Housing at 12th and Union streets, where he was reportedly last seen about Dec. 17.
Months passed without any sightings of Driver, then on May 1, a person reported a body in a lake on the east side of Tippecanoe County Road 100 East, south of County Road 500 South.
