The Town of Nanton is proposing a two per cent reduction in its expenses this year.
“That’s just shy of a $59,000 difference compared to 2020,” said Clayton Gillespie, the Town’s corporate services manager, during the March 1 council meeting, held in the warm room at the Tom Hornecker Recreation Centre. Several councillors remotely attended the meeting by video.

The Town proposes to maintain its 2020 service level while continuing to make improvements in infrastructure and a number of other areas, he said.
