PAXTON — Planning for the unknown in the Age of COVID-19, selectmen are trying to figure out when to hold the annual town meeting.
Last year, it was delayed from May to August.
This year, the tradition would be to hold it on May 3.
Selectmen at their meeting Feb. 8 discussed the concerns about having it inside. But another outside meeting posed complications as well.
“I’m hoping we can still have it May 3, but it may be outside,” Chairman Peter Bogren Jr. said.
Town Administrator Carol Riches raised concerns about the weather, but Bogren said he was not so worried about the weather as social distancing.
