Town council approves rezoning bylaw but with amendments that 'handcuff' future applications Back to video
On June 21, council approved the final two readings of a rezoning bylaw allowing the Play Time and Rhyme preschool and child-care centre, 1613 26 Ave., to be used both as a child-care facility and now also as a residence. Amendments made to the bylaw June 21 also address the concerns that over 100 residents and businesses had about allowing the property, which is in a residential neighbourhood, to be rezoned to multi-use residential (R5) from single-detached residential (R1).
