The global tourism industry was battered Covid-19 pandemic like no other sector. The sector is staring at potential losses of a whopping $25 billion internationally and Rs 90,000 crore in India alone.   
Industry captains discuss the sectoral challenges and outlined the roadmap to reboot, relaunch and revive India’s economy which had slid down due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The impact of Coronavirus and lockdown on the hospitality sector is huge. The hotel Industry expects revenue losses to the tune of Rs 90,000 crores and it is expected to see only 30% occupancy till the next year. This is because people have extensively reduced travelling amid pandemic. But, what will it take to woo travellers back? What are the safety measures taken by the hotels? Has the demand started picking up?
