Torrance to remove 60 trees for sidewalk repair project; some residents aghast

Torrance will remove 60 trees beginning Monday, April 17, to make way for sidewalk repairs that comply with the state’s ADA requirements. Residents said there are alternate pathways to enhance ADA accessibility without taking down trees.
