The non-profit organization Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre (JCCC) organizes the TJFF and will host the 10th annual festival in a "hybrid format." Online screenings will take place from June 5-27 on the festival's online platform partner CINESEND. Tickets for the online screenings will go on sale in May. Onsite screenings will take place at the JCCC's Kobayashi Hall in October.
The JCCC describes the festival:
The Toronto Japanese Film Festival (TJFF) showcases the finest Japanese films that have been recognized for excellence by Japanese audiences and critics, international film festival audiences and the Japanese Film Academy.
