Topeka Unified School District 501 will be able to provide its students with coats, emergency support funding and laptop-related supplies and broadband support at Highland Park High School thanks to a $3,000 grant from Stormont Vail Foundation.
“Topeka Public Schools provides for more than just the educational needs of its students and their families," said Amy Burns, Stormont Vail Foundation president and executive director. "As the urban school district in Topeka, these grant applications made us aware of several district unmet needs, providing funding helps us to do our part to meet some of them."
Pamela Johnson Betts, TPS Foundation's executive director, expressed the foundation's appreciation for the grants.
